I ended up making walnut whales with my kiddos, and it was pretty fun, but I had to do a lot of it. My favorite activities are ones where kids can truly be totally independent or it's written in a way to specify what they may struggle with and potential solutions to remain independent. That being said, my group of kiddos was probably younger than this book was intended.
