this book is my favourite of the year so far. I have not read many Islamic books with female authors but D.Asmaa鈥檚 narrative writing style pulls you in and makes you feel as if you are reading an intimate and personal diary of some sort. I loved that first we were introduced to how the salaf lived with the Quran then how she lived with the Quran and women and men and children around her dealt with the Quran as well. As Muslims the Quran is our closest companion and through reading this book I鈥檝e noticed how out of touch I鈥檓 with it despite reading it regularly. Truly living upon it is something else. A book that I need to have in physical copy for sure, such a an emotional touching read 馃挆
