She’s done it…AGAIN! I have died and gone to Eden. I wonder if Jamie McGuire ever gets tired of knocking me straight on my ass? Seriously!! Jillian Dodd knocked my socks off with That Boy, Jessica Park knocked me to my knees in Flat out Love, but Jamie McGuire knocks me on my ass EVERYTIME!!
Eden picks up exactly where Requiem leaves off. I mean literally! Jared and Nina fall asleep in Requiem and wake up in Eden; you don’t miss a thing! So what exactly does our leading lady wake up to? One word, J-A-R-E-D! Oh sweet angel babies! The things that come out of that boy’s mouth; that sweet, beautiful, angelic mouth. His wedding vows shot straight to my heart (and maybe a few um “other� places) and melted my very soul. He even had me saying, “I do�. OH. MY. GOD! I’m seriously going straight to hell for having these thoughts about a half angel. He’s so passionately devoted to keeping Nina safe, I get turned on just reading his name.
The last half of the book is non-stop action!! Once everything came to a head, I almost started to hyperventilate. All I could think was, “There are not enough pages left! Oh my God where’s the rest of the book!! It can’t be almost done!!� I finally came down off my brief period of psychosis in order to bitch slap Nina for her complete FUBAR of the situation. Of course she has Jared to save the day…again.
From start to finish, sharing Jared and Nina’s story has been quite the ride. We get to experience their first kiss, their first fu—fuuun date ;-) The entire story is epic. Providence brought us the passion and excitement of many firsts. Requiem brought us an action packed sequel and Eden did exactly what a final book is supposed to do; it brought completeness.
Since I was given Eden as an ARC, my final page had the word PROOF written in big bold letters! I can’t help but smile about how ironically fitting that is; the perfect ending. This entire series is PROOF that Jamie McGuire is a literary force to be reckoned with. The word Eden represents beginnings and I hope this is just the beginning of what Ms. McGuire has in store!

Love the whole series

I finished this series, YAY! Well, I am glad that is over. I think the imagination of the Jamie McGuire was excellent. I liked the story but again, the execution was off. I cared more about the story between Ryan and Claire
than I did Nina and Jared.Not good. I got so tired of Nina whining ALL the time, and then she became holier than thou. I really did not Nina. At. All. Jared was annoying being so overprotective all the time. I get it. It is his job to protect her but c'mon! It is kind of dangerous to rely on someone to protect you all the time. They get lax in their protecting themselves. Furthermore, all this fuss about her training and she really didn't use it much or when valuable, she still relied on Jared's "spidey" senses to protect her. I liked the action parts but felt it was too unbelievable and at some parts insulting to deeply religious people. I guess the main thing i had a problem with is the child and the special-ness of the child. It all didn't add up. Again, the main problem I have with all her stories is that she focuses most of her stories on the wrong things. The things that slow a story down and don't contribute to the overall picture. The important things are hastily explained then taken for granted that it satisfies the reader. The meaty parts of the story are then rushed through, and the reader is left frustrated, well, at least I was. Anyway by the end i just felt disatisfied with the whole series and the hope i had carried when Requiem ended was extinguished quickly.

First I would like to thank Jamie for allowing me to read an ARC copy of Eden. When I first started on The Providence Journey I had never heard of the book but I had just finished buddy reading with my girls Jojo and Jen Beautiful Disaster. So we LOVED that book and we decided we would give Providence a chance. I am so glad we did because Jamie has brought a world where good must fight evil in order to survive.
In this final installment to the Providence series Jamie ROCKED IT! She ended the book in a way that left you both satisfied and sad because we won't be seeing any of the Ryel's or Ryan and the gang. So here goes my review.
Nina has really come out of her shell and has learned to trust Jared's decisions. Staying at her mother's house until she and Jared can find a replacement for the loft has been hard on them.Nina and her mother have never had a close relationship so this is hard on her and Jared. Nina only comfort is that Jared is her husband now and no matter what happens to them he will always be by her side. She knows that there is evil out there lurking and waiting for the right time to get at her but she has grown so much and is no longer afraid of the unseen.Although Jared does everything in his power to protect her there is only one of him and legions of the demons chasing her. They want the book back and they will stop at nothing to get it back.
In Eden Nina has grown up so much. She has really become a women. She is going to have to fight for her family and she will stop at nothing to see to it that they are safe. She will do whatever is necessary to protect her and her unborn child. As the pregnancy goes on she gets stronger and she feels like no matter what comes her way they will not get to her or her child. She and Jared will move mountains to make sure of that.
Nina will have to put aside her feelings and learn to trust someone she does not like and she will fight side by side with Jared and the gang to protect herself as well as the ones she loves. There are some unexpected relationships and there are some relationships that will be tested to see if that person is worthy.
What is Nina to do.... Will she overcome the evil that has chased her father? When will the dust settle for her? And last but not least will all be revealed about the book that has killed her father and is trying to kill her.
Come along for an EPIC ride in this ending book. See how Claire kicks some major butt and Bex becomes a man and Ryan finally finds true love! Thank you so much Jamie for sharing this world with me and I look forward to reading more of your books.

After waiting for approximately 1.5 hours after finishing the book, I am quite certain to say that I am calm and rational enough to write a decent, coherent review.
Inhale in. Out. Breathe.
@#@$@%&&^!*@$%##@!... WHAT DAFUQ DID I JUST READ???!!!
This book is the reason why I dislike embarking on series novels. They lead you on, so you think, fine, the water's clear and shallow, no danger here, then you wade deeper and deeper, and guess what? You ran straight into the mysterious giant sea squid! Yummy! (For the squid.)
Honestly, I could list down all the parts that just don't make sense at all. Zero logic. Nada. But I probably would take all day to do that. Maybe the review would then be even longer than the book. But the biggest, thickest thorn-in-my-eye of all is N( )( )a Grey. If you're guessing Nora Grey from Hush Hush, then yes! I'm referring to all of her worst qualities embodied in the book, but Nora Grey in person? No you guessed wrong, but close. It's Nina. Nina Grey. (Oh so James Bond.) See the likeness? Understand the frustration?
Nina, Nina, who do you think you are? Just because you're the main character of Eden you know that the author won't kill you off in the book? Bitch please.
But sadly, no, you're right.
The book started off boring but ok, then due to a very, VERY selfish act by a particular character with the letter N in her first name (no, not Nora Grey), the book spiraled downcliff. You know, in the mathematical graphs of plotting f(x) against x, where there's a vertical asymptote? The plot of Eden progressed exactly just like that, downwards along the asymptote. The whole entertainment value just crashed exponentially.
Two particular scenes were particularly vivid in my mind, which I particularly found fault with.
1. Nina is a murderer. Holy shit.
The story started to level off at a stagnant plateau, and all everyone could do was wait (which I think is perfectly acceptable, since I empathize with the tension which was going on), then shit, Nina had to blow it all by going crazy? Nina was indirectly involved in the death of her friend, and directly involved in another. To Nina, I have all this to say: For the first case, well, ok, we get that you're crying, wow, you are such a tender-hearted kind soul; yes, yes you are right - the bad guys are so mean, how could they?!; for the second killing: Nina YOU BLOODY HYPOCRITE! Go kill yourself to avenge your friend! Seriously just because you have some angel-affiliation doesn't mean that killing is ok for you.
2. The unraveling of the conclusion. Guess who saves the day?
The scene goes somewhat like this. The Ryels fight off a very, very bad ultimate demon. Punches and hooks are traded, at faster than the speed of light. Blood is shed, bones are broken and wimpy helpless damsels are made fainted(please mind the grammar) in the epic climax of the final showdown between good and bad!
But alas! The Ryels fail! They are swiped away by the baddie who sidesteps them towards Nina. For the holy love of god who else is there left to protect Nina and her baby now?
The demon strides closer with a malignant smile.
Gasps! Nina is wetting her pants. Has she met her end? Why the hell is Jared still smelling the asphalt?
Nina has is desperate. She panics. Then she squeals,"Don't touch her(the baby)!"
The monster stops. Suddenly he is immobilized. What Jared, Claire and Bex had failed to do as a team with their superhuman strength and powers Nina has managed to by just saying, "Stop **pretty please**,"?
Really. The book doesn't stray far off even from my exaggerated version.
So, to sum up, yes, I'm still annoyed with the old stuff as I had been in Requiem: Nina, Nina, Nina, and Nina..., Jared etc. But the aspects that made Requiem marginally likable have failed to live up to their past performances. Claire becomes all sappy and giggly when she falls in love. Bex is still unaware that he is being used. Despite the urgency of an impending apocalyse, Nina and Grey just make-out, make-out, make-out. The summary of the plot, told from Nina's POV, goes a bit like: I love you, I love you, I love you...; I think there's some demon at the door, darling, get that please; I love you, I love you, smooch smooch (blek), I love you; why is that demon interrupting our honeymoon? More smooching; I love you... We are being chased by demons, run (which is entirely possible to do while smooching altogether)! I want to be a bad guy and do something utterly despicable for once! Ok, you wimps? Where's all the action? Let me save the day, milksops. Ok, yawn, done. I love you. All's right with the world and everything's perfect.
Additionally, I feel pissed that one of the good guys with my name was treated horribly by everyone and killed off. I take that really personally.
I miss a good book. Even more so, a good series novel. Guess I'll have to return to Lisa Kleypas and Jane Austen to have my faith in books restored.

Güzel bitti, pek çok şey kafamızda belirli yerlere oturdu. Fakat keşke sadece tek kitap olsaymış. İlk kitaptan sonra sanki aşk değil aksiyon okuyormuş gibiydim. Fast and Furios'un bir bölümünü mü açtım acaba falan oldum. Şeytanlar kovalıyor bizim ekip kaçıyor vbvb. Oysaki ilk kitaptaki aşk kısmıda gayet yeterliydi. Neden sevişmeyip savaşalım moduna bağlamış yazar bilmiyorum. Ama yine de dediğim gibi JARED...

I want to say this was more like 3.5 stars for me. Pregnant Nina I really liked so much more than before. Lots of adventure and wondering how they will get out of one situation to the next. The only reason I didn't give it 4 stars was because of towards the end of the book when Nina knows she is finally going into labor and decides after all the time they have been down in the tomb that she has to have a few minutes of sunlight putting everyone in danger and ultimately Kim losing her life. I was so furious at her, and worst of all, no one says a word to her for her selfishness (putting her baby at risk....really??)...she just gets a poor you attitude over her guilt for Kim dying. I mean really, I guess what can Jared do once she goes into labor...right? That being said, her taking on Lucifer to protect her child definitely brings some redemption.

Wow! Eden perfectly wrapped up this series for me! Such a lovely end to a fun and eventful series! The two minuscule problems I had with Requiem were perfectly accounted for and settled in this one. (Thank heavens for Claire! She and Ryan are perfection.) This series was so much fun to read, and though Jared got progressively over-protective I still felt like it came from a good place, and he didn’t stop Nina from doing what she wanted altogether. The only thing I did have a hard time with was towards the end when Nina has a panic attack. You’ll know what I’m talking about when you get there. It just seemed kind of out of character for her. After everything that happens to her throughout the series, for her to panic and freak out like she does seemed strange. However, she IS pregnant which probably contributes to the strange behavior, and I was kind of waiting for her to crack after everything that had happened to her over the last three years. All in all, this was a great series for summer, fun, fast reads, and I really enjoy McGuire’s writing style, her dialogue and banter is very well thought out and witty, especially the swoon-worthy things that Jared says (cue: the vows holyfreakingcrap) If you liked books that were in the same vein as Twilight and Hush, Hush you will definitely love this series, I know I did.

The only thing I did have a hard time with was towards the end when Nina has a panic attack. You’ll know what I’m talking about when you get there. It just seemed kind of out of character for her. After everything that happens to her throughout the series, for her to panic and freak out like she does seemed strange. However, she IS pregnant which probably contributes to the strange behavior, and I was kind of waiting for her to crack after everything that had happened to her over the last three years. All in all, this was a great series for summer, fun, fast reads, and I really enjoy McGuire’s writing style, her dialogue and banter is very well thought out and witty, especially the swoon-worthy things that Jared says (cue: the vows holyfreakingcrap) If you liked books that were in the same vein as Twilight and Hush, Hush you will definitely love this series, I know I did.

Sheer stubbornness forced me to finish this series. This third and final installment crossed so far over into Ludicrous Land that I had trouble suspending reality and losing myself in the "pages".
Homonym issues featured prominently in this book...
(note to author: lightening is to make or become lighter or brighter - "The Eastern sky was lightening as dawn approached...", lightning is an atmospheric electrical discharge that occurs during thunderstorms - "The thunder clapped and the lightning flashed as the storm raged...")
...and had me cringing far more often. Also causing me to cringe were the spots where she clearly derailed and had trouble getting back on track. One of the more notable instances is on their return trip to Little Corn when Jared hadn't brought any gear yet he rigged a solar generator for the curling irons, etc...if there was no power in their casitas, how did the fan and all his equipment run on the first trip?????? Inquiring minds want to know!
Let's not even talk about my severely delayed connection between Nina's favorite cake (Angel Food) and what her boyfriend/husband, in-laws, and future spawn are/will be. *headdesk to infinity*
I understand that this is fiction, and that the suspension of reality is an important piece of the puzzle, but really, sometimes it's so clear that an author is out of their element that it's painful to read their words and this was one of those times.
For instance, asking a Catholic to believe that a band of misfits, miscreants, and fallen angels would ever be able to blast their way through Jerusalem then simply walk into Jesus Christ's Holy Sepulcher and set up camp while waiting for the birth of their hybrid spawn (HYBRID SPAWN? HELLO, TWILIGHT!!!!!!!! Remember those comments about fan fiction from my first review??????? I really wonder what this story's title was when it was on fanfiction.net) are so unbelievably crazy that it's impossible for me to even take it with a grain of salt. Digging latrines in Christ's tomb? PUH-LEAZE. Even in fiction, that's blasphemy.
In closing, I'm incredibly disappointed in how this series ended. It turned into a massive train wreck.

I was so excited when this came out early...It's like waiting for Christmas (which is my fave time of year) and thinking it'll never come...then you wake up and it's suddenly here and you feel all excited and wired and you want it to last because it's so special. Well I tried...to make it last but once I hit about 50% I didn't put it down again, I couldn't!!
This is without doubt my favorite book in this series. It starts from where Requiem left off and the ride was a slow build start then suddenly it took off and there was no room to breathe what with all the twists and turns! I don't want to say too much cause I don't want to spoil this for anyone!!
I cried, chuckled, came over all unnecessary (lol how polite is that!!) and had to look away (yes I do that and yes I know a kindle isn't a TV but well written words are just as scary!!). Some of the action scenes are seriously cool and I had all sorts of crazy images in my head which were straight out of "Shaun of the Dead".
All the characters are so well written and you can't help but love them and feel attached and protective, especially after 3 books, which is why I'll miss them!! I would love to find out what happens to Claire&Ryan and Bex!! I've got to say as well...Jared...OMG I was a mess during his vows...WOW!!! He is just about one of the most PERFECT blokes...yeah actually I think he just might be!!
I hated the point where I realized I was close to the end...but then the epilogue..well that just made me all warm and satisfied. Perfect!!!

AMAZING BOOK!!!!! Jamie, you are an amazing writer and for all readers out there you will not be disappointed with her works. I laughed and cried. I was so engrossed, I could not peal away from Eden. I'm stunned that it's over but overjoyed with the outcome. :D

Eden is the third and final book in the Providence series. I was really looking forward to finishing the series that I gain to love and wanted a happy ending for Jared & Nina. Eden left me disappointed, I was looking forward to the magic that Providence held for me but this book missed the mark.
The book starts exactly where Requiem left off. Nina is pregnant with Jared's baby and Satan is after her to make sure the unborn baby does not survive. The entire book is dealing with trying to save Nina and the baby. The wedding was such a beautiful scene, I cried when Jared's father came back as the humans were frozen in time and kissed his wife while she was frozen. It was beautiful, I think that is the only part of the book that I really enjoyed like I did in Providence.
I thought Eden was a bit of a bore honestly. I actually skimmed the book at parts, especially the end what should of been the big climax of the book I thought was confusing and boring. I actually was annoyed with Nina for the first time in the entire series. Her whining was over the top and the fact she wanted out of the cave that kept her and her friends safe just to get air while thousands of demons were waiting for her was ridiculous and got her friend Kim killed! I thought she was so selfish at that moment and did not really make sense on why she felt that way when the entire book she put her baby first. I thought it was something the author did just to create the big fight scene which was over the top.
I also did not like that Grant was an Arch angel who is in love with Nina but nothing came of it. Nina never even discussed with Grant and it just seemed like an after thought but to me it was a big deal. I wish more came of that story line to create more personal drama then paranormal drama.
I gave this book a 3 stars, only even that high because I was invested in the series and the first book was amazing. I still recommend the series but the third book really disappointed me.

So I was excited when I saw that Nina & Jared's final story was out. The cover is beautiful with the baby stroller. The story contained all that I wanted and more, I was hoping to see more of Bex and Claire and I did. I love Bex and would really enjoy reading a series of his life. :)
There was action from beginning to end. The action was well written and I'd have to say out of the 3 books in the series they've progressively gotten better. This was by far my favorite. Nina really grew into herself as a person and Jared was completely swoon-worthy.

This is the final book in the trilogy, two novellas follow but this book wraps up the main plot. It continues the story of the first and second books. You can't read them as standalones. We still have Nina as a POV narrator.
Good things:
* Jared and his wedding vows. His extreme patience and love.
* Ryan. Luckily he survived. How? I have no idea because he is human.
* Bex. He was on character and not annoying, thank goodness.
* Kim. You'll be missed.
* That's it? I don't have many good things to say about this book.
Not so good things:
* Nina. OMG, what a spoiled brat seriously!! She puts the entire Ryel family at risk, her baby at risk and gets her friend Kim killed because she wants to feel the sun and breathe fresh air. Are you serious? As usual, everyone risks her life for her because she is a spoiled brat and has to get her way.
* Kim got killed. I'm so upset. Why? Seriously, why? So pointless. All because of Nina, and we didn't even see Beth grieving for Kim, that was so disrespectful. It's like no one cared about Kim. Her father was probably devastated. Nina is so selfish.
* Innocent people getting killed and injured because Nina wanted to feel the sun on her skin or whatever. Girl get a grip. I felt so bad for them.
* Sasha got killed too. Indirectly because of Nina. Turns out someone put a bomb in Nina's car, and after the girls had finally made peace and truce and forgiven the stuff from the past. Then bam, literally. Sasha goes to get coffee and snacks as they were supposed to work late at the office. Nina is like, you can grab my car. Bad idea. Sasha is gone. Again we aren't shown her family grieving or anything. Sasha was a mean girl, sure, but it was because she was insecure and loved Grant who had a crush on Nina so she got jealous of Nina. She didn't actually mean real harm. Although I didn't like that she always tried to flirt with Jared to get back at Nina.
* Claire, I love her but she was pissing me off, why does she have to treat Ryan so horribly? She was mean and a bully. And then was all like, she doesn't want to be with him because she thought he wanted what Nina and Jared have (marriage and kids) and she doesn't. In the end, she accepted her feelings but Ryan didn't deserve all that mistreatment from her. He took it all in stride because he loves her and I felt Claire took advantage of that. I wanted them to get married and have kids. I guess that'll never happen? We'll see in the novellas.
* Nina kept saying she was sure the baby was a girl and then when she gave birth she said "I had prepared myself for almost everything when I delivered. A girl was not one of them."??? Maybe this got fixed in later editions, because they were going back and forth with the gender thing and it didn't even feel sometimes like it was Nina having a change of heart, it just lacked cohesion. I noticed some grammar mistakes and sometimes it would mention the wrong name when talking about a character.
*Why does Jared keep saying that Gabe is so ashamed of his Hybrid children and he's against Hybrid children in general? Whenever Gabe appears Nina says that Gabe looks at them with pride and always hugs his kids and had 3 Hybrid kids so he must not be so against them. He goes out of his way to send messages and help them. I don't understand. Maybe that's just Jared's own bias.
Things I still don't understand:
* In my review for book two, I said how I didn't understand how Nephilim are different from Hybrids. Turns out Nina thought the same as me, that they were the same. It was explained that it's different because Nephilim are children of Fallen Angels aka Angels that became demons. And Hybrids are children of Archs. But I do recall that when an Arch falls in love with a human and procreates then becomes Fallen Angel because that's something you shouldn't do. So I still fail to see the difference.
* How is baby Eden an Angel? Jared is a Hybrid (half Angel, half Human), and Nina is human (from the Merovingian line, meaning she's a direct descendant of Jesus Christ.) I fail to understand why their baby would be a full angel.
A little summary of the whole book, full of spoilers:
Nina and Jared get married in Nicaragua. Jared is tried for indirectly killing Isaac. Found not guilty. They go back to Providence and months go by. Nina's pregnancy progresses and she gains the abilities of an Angel. She keeps studying and working. Demons start bothering her as Hell doesn't want the baby to be born. They put a bomb in her car that ends up killing Sasha. They try to find answers in the Naissance de Demoniac and the Bible. They realize the safest place for Nina to give birth is The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. It's the holy place where Jesus was crucified and the location of Jesus' empty tomb. Demons don't go there. The whole group goes. Nina, Jared, Claire, Ryan, Bex and Kim. Kim finally returned the Naissance de Demoniac to the Holy Sepulchre and rid her family of the curse. Demons try everything to kill them so they don't make it. They make it. They have to wait some months in the caves below the Holy Sepulchre until Nina gives birth. When she's about to give birth she freaks out and wants to give birth outside where it's full of demons for some reason. They try to reason with her but she's stronger than all as she has the power of an angel. She leaves the safety of the caves. Almost gets them all killed. Gets Kim killed. Nina gives birth. Satan appears and tries to take baby Eden. Archangels appear and say that God decided to protect the baby so Satan can't harm her. For some reason, Heaven hadn't decided if they wanted to side with the baby. Satan and demons leave. In the epilogue, we see Nina and Beth with their other friends graduating. Eden is already 10 months old. After the graduation ceremony, Jared gives Nina her graduation present. He bought her a house and decorated it exactly as their old loft. The End.

I really did like this series. Eden, the 3rd book in the series has some really great moments.... the vows, Gabe & Lillian, Jared, Bex and of course Claire & Ryan! I loved Ryan's last ditch effort to get the attention of his love. That cracked me up ~ Go Ryan!!
Eden starts off where Requiem ends with more action, demons & other creepy crawlies from Hell. These kids just can't seem to catch a break. I must say I was a little miffed with Jared & Nina with their promise to Kim. I also found my self shouting at my Kindle towards the end.... WTH Nina???????? Overall, I really enjoyed it.

After reading the entire series I'm definitely positive that Nina and Jared get on my nerves. The story was good but they were way too much for me, my favorite characters were Bex, Beth, Claire and even Sasha made the cut. I don't know what to think I feel like the end was very rushed and I was lost at some point. But, still glad I finished this series.

Bu hayatta başka kurgulardan özenilmiş çakma bir kurgu okumaktan daha kötü bir şey varsa o da şımarık, mızmız ve bencil bir karakterin kitabını okumaktır. Bu seri sağ olsun bana iki hissi de bolca yaşattı. Jamie McGuire ne yazsa okurum sanardım ama bu seri gerçek bir başarısızlık timsali sanki. Tek iyi yönü akıcı olması ve olayların akışında sıkmaması. Bunun dışında her şeyiyle ofsayt. Okunabilir bir seri aslında ama ben yine de hayatımın son 3 gününü geri istemekten kendimi alamıyorum. Yine de Jared'ı seviyorum ama yeterli değildi, üzgünüm Jared... :(

Again, I hate endings. HATE THEM! But, and yet again, I am completely satisfied with how it all went down. And, I'm pleased to say that there weren't too many cringe worthy moments where it was sickly sweet. It was exciting, and then sweet, and then exciting again. I thought it had a great balance. Jared is just the man, ultimate soldier, but now also pround husband and father (that last one was just adorable!). And Nina grows up exponentially and becomes a fighter instead of a victum. Her and Jared finally become more of a team. After all, you can't get more fierce then when a mother is protecting her child! Even though at the end I wanted to completely smash Nina for her stupidity, I have to allow that even the strongest of women would freak at having to live in a dark, dank, cave for 2 months with the prospect of having to give birth naturally with no medical team and not much equipment in said dark, dank cave!! *shudder* I can't even imagine the sheer HORROR of the situation!! And then there's Claire and Ryan. I love Claire! And it was great to finally see their relationship finally come into being. And to see Bex become a man was good too. All in all, a great series! I can't wait to see what Ms. McGuire brings out next. Hopefully something from her Beautiful series now!

Great trilogy! Overall, I enjoyed the book, and did thoroughly like the entire series. Make sure that going into this, you suspend all sense of reality because it will take you on a ride into the supernatural. I can't give the story five stars for two main reasons-- 1)although it was good, it wasn't one of those reads where even days after I have finished, I can't stop thinking about the characters and the story. I didn't feel fully immersed...I just enjoyed it.
2) I still do not care for Nina--- the main character. She may have grown on me, but I still found her selfish, self-absorbed, and whiny in the third book. Particularly a part in the climax when she selfishly puts everyone's life at risk-- especially those people, who for the entire series have been fighting to protect her. Meh.
Again, overall, I do recommend the Providence series. It's a good story and an entertaining read. I was captivated. The trilogy definetly has engaging characters-- Bex, Claire & Ryan, Jared. It's not a five-star read because the author missed the mark in some areas to fully say she hit it out of the ballpark. Good read. Not my top five all-time favorite stories. Overall, it's worth picking up!

This was the perfect ending to the series. I also feel this is the strongest and best book in the series. Sure, I loved watching Jared and Nina fall for each other in Providence, but there is a truly epic tone to this book.
The intensity in this book is unmatched. You can almost feel the buildup yourself. You're waiting for the moment when all Hell is going to break loose. Literally. And when it does... Wow! I was astounded with the attention to details and knowledge Jamie wrote with.
Everything was on point for me --- the pacing, characters' actions, PERFECTION. Bex became my favorite character (sorry other Ryels!) as he really grew into his own and became quite a force. I also felt this to be the most emotional book in the series. So many highs and lows, you truly feel like you're part of the story.
I've grown to love these characters and this series will always hold a special place in my heart. Even if you don't love paranormal, I think you can appreciate a love story that focuses a lot on faith.

Ahhhh!!! I'm super sad this trilogy is over, all three books were SO wonderful! Just like the previous two, Eden kept me on the edge of my seat at times, and made me love the characters even more. I love how Jamie keeps you in touch with everyone in the story, not just the mc's. The only thing I regret is the length of time it took me to get the books and read them. Sorry to see Nina & Jared go, but I feel the story wrapped up nicely. If you're not sure if you should read this series, I highly recommend giving in & giving this series a shot- it's WELL worth it!

The third installment of this series follows Jared and Nina during their race go keep them and their family safe. Married and expecting a baby. Ninas fathers past is still after her.
This book gave me a lot of different emotions, happiness, giddiness, anxiety, fear and heart break. It takes a special book to give me all those feelings.. I will always have a special place in my hear fro the Ryel family and their friends.
