All is not well on Piffle World. The magical land's most popular sporting event - a race of lightweight aircraft called dragonflies - seems to have been rigged by one of the contestants. But winning the competition is the only way Princess Sakura and her friends can recover one of the princess's precious and powerful memory feathers. The five friends are determined to cross the finish line first, but the cheating is taking its toll - even Fai is out of the running! Can the travelers still win the race and discover who's behind the booby traps before it's too late?

CLAMP originally began in 1989 as a twelve-member d¨jinshi circle, but by 1990, the circle had diminished from twelve to seven. Of the remaining seven, Tamayo Akiyama, Sei Nanao, and Leeza Sei left the group during the production of the RG Veda manga. Other former members of CLAMP also included Soushi Hishika, O-Kyon, Kazue Nakamori, Yuzuru Inoue and Shinya ?mi. Currently, there are four members in the group.

In 2004, CLAMP's 15th anniversary as a mangaka group, the members changed their names from Nanase Ohkawa, Mokona Apapa, Mick Nekoi, and Satsuki Igarashi to Ageha Ohkawa, Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi and Satsuki Igarashi (her name is pronounced the same, but written with different characters) respectively. The August 2004 issue of Newtype USA, a magazine specializing in events of the anime and manga subcultures, reported that the members of CLAMP simply wanted to try out new names. In a later interview with Ohkawa, it was revealed that initially Mokona wanted to drop her surname because it sounded too immature for her liking, while Nekoi disliked people commenting that her name was the same as Mick Jagger's. Ohkawa and Igarashi, wanting to go with the flow of Nekoi's and Mokona's name changes, changed their names as well.

In 2006, they made their first USA public debut at Anime Expo in Anaheim, California. They were well received at the convention, with 6,000 fans in attendance at their panel.

Ampliamente recomendable.

Vamos a darle cinco estrellas por tres razones:
3. ?Shaoran ebrio!

This volume was all about the race, with 3 chapters devoted to the after race festivities. The designs for Piffle World are adorable! This is also another one that ends right as they leave a world, which makes it a good point to take a short break from the series if you want to.
We still have all our original mysteries, but now there is another one added. Dr. Kyle is also traveling worlds???? I am very hopeful that that mystery, along with Fei Wang, Syaorians double, his missing memories and eye, Fai's whole history and Syaorians teacher will be resolved soon! Knowing Clamp, it will be the last 4 volumes before we find out!
That artwork is quite lovely, the story is interesting and the characters are great!
This arc moved a tad slow, but I still thought it was good! It can be a little repetitive; they just go from world to world and find feathers, but I don't mind it obviously! The little details in each world, meeting new people, and the mysteries in each world keep me entertained!

I love that Sakura got her time in the spotlight, a chance to prove herself and accomplish something and feel that she's a valuable part of the team and supporting herself in getting her memories back. Also, what was was important to her is that she did it on her merits, not by anyone else's means.

Also, what the heck?! Tomoyo in this world was watching Syaoran and said "It's true. The way he pilots his machine is very much like the one I know." I have so many questions! Who is this other Syaoran that she's met? Is he originally from this world, or is he from another world? There also seems to be some fondness in the way she's saying it too. Will we find out any of this, or is it just a reminder that there are people with the same faces/souls in other worlds?

Things in this series have taken a turn toward repetitiveness at this point. The art, as is always the case with CLAMP, is still quite impressive. But the narrative has fallen into a rut. This is somewhat disappointing given the potential this concept showed in the beginning.

There's still a long way left to go. Too long, perhaps.
Only half intense (if at all) volumes are turning into a trend in Tsubasa, and the first half of this one left me particularly indifferent. It's not uneventful as part of the travelling stop at the Piffle World, but it really is considering the whole series and the many possibilities the plot has to focus on. I don't blame the manga for laying out the race in so much detail, but its final here developed was not even entertaining¡ªunlike the part in the 11th volume.

The second half made up for that enough to reach a score of three stars, mostly through a little humour and a few of the usual amusing character traits (particularly Kurogane's). But I'm still waiting for the story to pick up its pauses and run!

In this volume of Tsubasa we see the conclusion of the epic race in which Sakura and her friends have a chance to win another of her memory feathers. As predicted, Sakura wins the race, but the plot twist on who was sabotaging the race is great and the highly active artwork is wonderful. We¡¯re also treated to a proper confrontation with their rival, a mysterious character who looks extremely similar to Xxxholic¡¯s Watanuki (but with long hair and an antiquated wardrobe). Thankfully Monoka¡¯s abilities save the day, but this turning point does wonderfully to spur on the larger plot lines besides the quest to regain Sakura¡¯s memories.

As the Piffle City race continues, Syaoran worries that, as dragonflies continue to break amidst the chaos of the competition, none of his friends will make it to the feather - but the truth of the fight is far stranger than any of them could have imagined! CLAMP throws fans into an intense finale to an exciting arc sure to stick with fans. Can anyone of the travelling companions make it to the feather before the interference takes them all out?

Y as¨ª no funciona en Holic.

The race continues but the saboteur has yet to be found. How dangerous is this race about to get?

I like that Sakura's character development was the focus this time. I also enjoyed the revealing moment between Fai & Kurogane. It will be interesting see where that goes!

Sakura wins the race! It's not a huge shock, honestly, but it's nice that she's actually getting to do something instead of being the damsel in distress the whole series.

Another longer storyline running between volumes. I'm concerned at how much story seems to be left and how many volumes I have in my hands! The return of a certain character also adds more intrigue.

Better than 3 stars in terms of my enjoyment, but I wanted to dock it one from the score most of the Tsubasa books get from me because I felt the plot was, even for this series, pretty out there.

The whole idea of Princess Tomoyo making the feather a prize in an elaborate race (if one for which the preparations were already done, as it's an annual thing) when she already knows who needs the feather - arguably, to whom it really belongs - and why is pretty silly, but in the spirit of the series. The Princess Tomoyo-fixes-the-race bit, though, seems to me like the writers just wanted to have their cake and eat it, too: "Yes, I fixed the race. But not so you would win! Just so other people would lose! Your win was totally earned and legit! I just set up traps for people who weren't you, then indirectly warned you and had my security follow and protect you! It was all you, though!" :P

I also find Kurogane's deductions on the matter a bit silly. "Your eyes were not the eyes of a person who tells the truth"? This is his reasoning? Especially funny when we get a flashback drawing of the occasion, and her eyes look perfectly normal to me.

Still, the party scene cracks me up. And I love the mini-story at the end where it comes out that Kurogane has been picking up and reading manga - the same series, in different formats - through all the worlds they've visited, including the medievalesque fairy-tale one. Haha!

Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE always wows me. Hey, I know that isn't correct English, but that is what it does. It makes me say, "Wow!" I absolutely loved the Dragonfly race that has been going on over the last few books. It was so nice to see Sakura finally able to participate in getting back one of her memory feathers. For a long time now, she has either been asleep or just sitting on the sidelines while Syaoran, Kurogane, and Fai do all the work.

Once again, the story and artwork by Clamp is wonderful. I have actually gotten to like the stretched-out look of the characters with their small heads. The action in the first half of the book is fast and furious and I read it at an incredible pace. I was really hoping that Sukura would win the race and was greatly pleased when she did so. Now, as for the mystery of who was sabotaging the race . . . I cannot tell you that. You will have to read the book and find out for yourself.

Overall, Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE: Volume 12 is another excellent addition to an already awesome series. Can it get any better? I guess I will find out when they travel to the next country in Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE: Volume 13.

I rated this book a 9? out of 10.
