I’m tired. I’m tired of running, tired of hiding, tired of always looking over my shoulder. Now my guys must endure this too. The clock is still ticking in my head. I feel him circling, getting closer and closer. The fear I carry is nearly suffocating. Not for me, but for my guys. I know what ’s like to have your family taken from you in the most brutal of ways. I won’t lose my family again. I will do whatever it takes to protect them. Even if that means I must face the monster who has haunted my nightmares and reality and kill him myself. Please forgive me, my Stone boys. I must do this to free you. And…to free me.

this entire series gives wattpad. i just know younger me would’ve eaten this series up😭at least these books have pretty covers, otherwise these would be going straight to the donation pile.
my ratings for each book 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒆: ★★ 𝒔𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒆: ★★ 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒆: 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝒎𝒆:

𝓅𝓁𝑜𝓉: the fmc, shiloh, is part of the witsec program which is a protection program that gives you a whole new identity. she watched her entire family get murdered by her english teacher who previously stalked/assaulted her. her uncle moves her to a new state and into a new house. since she’s 18, she lives alone because her uncle is off trying to find the man who murdered their family. she ends up moving into a house next door to the stone brothers, knox, keelan, colt, and creed. this entire series is about her dealing with her trauma and dating these four men. when i tell you this shit was so boring and repetitive😭the only thing that was exciting was when the killer finds her and tries to murder her and her boyfriends. but don’t worry, they all get their happy ending together👍🏼
𝒸𝒽𝒶𝓇𝒶𝒸𝓉𝑒𝓇𝓈: i honestly hated all these characters except for knox. the other three babied her. knox babied her too, but he was the one that encouraged her to actually help herself. she suffers from ptsd and she’ll get these terrible nightmares. tell me why these nightmares carried on throughout the entire series. so repetitive and boring. she would have a nightmare and one of her four men would wake her up and comfort her. she had to be talked into seeing a therapist and it made me feel like the author was making it seem as if seeing a therapist makes you weak and ’s the complete opposite. the character development just wasn’t there like i hoped it would be. instead of focusing on her mental health, she just spends her time fucking these four men. which made me uncomfortable btw because they’re brothers and she would fuck one brother in front of the others or they would all do stuff together and i was like okay no thanks🤠and she doesn’t choose one at the end, she just continues to date all of them. there was one scene in a book where the brothers got together and were talking about what would happen when shiloh gets pregnant like.AWKWARD. pls😭i just wanted her to choose knox so bad because all he wanted was to help her get stronger, but i just feel like this girl did not want to help herself at all. it was giving pathetic.
𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓇𝒶𝓁𝓁 𝓉𝒽𝑜𝓊𝑔𝒽𝓉𝓈: this was just disappointing. super forgettable. i didn’t have a connection to the story or the characters. hated the plot. i don’t even remember why i rated the first book so high?? was i on drugs? i do remember being on my period. i was not myself. the only good thing about this series was that these books were all less than 300 pages so it was fast paced and easy to get through. 10/10 don’t recommend unless you want to read a four book series consisting of alternating chapters about her having nightmares and her fucking the brother of her choice.

04/03/24 𝓅𝓇𝑒 𝓇𝑒𝓋𝒾𝑒𝓌: the amount of reviews i need to write stresses me out, i’m just reading and vibing! very short reviews coming for this series soon🫶🏼
03/24/24 ’s PINK! yes, i’m a whore for anything pink
quite literally flying through this series because all the books are less than 300 pages hehe🤭
Excuse the fu#k out of me, but have you lost your goddamn mind?! 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐚 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠?! 𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐍. 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭?! Cause this ain't fun anymore. God my poor heart!!
I’m honestly disappointed with this book. Three stars is a stretch and that’s more of a reflection of how this series started. For a four book series, we got strung along for two years for a rather underwhelming ending. This book was mostly sex (and yes, I truly can’t believe I’m complaining about that either!!) which is rather opposite of the vibe of how this series began. No real twists or turns, no surprises, it just ended. Yes Shiloh got a happy ending but I don’t feel like I did I loved Find Me but this could’ve all been collapsed into a two book series.
THIS SERIES HAS BEEN EVERYTHING!! NO ONE IS READY! What an epic conclusion to this series. I have said this time and time again, Ashley N Rostek never fails to write gold. I loved how each character has developed as the books progressed, while their relationships also strengthened. Shiloh and the Stone boys will always have a special place in my heart. I just hope that we get to read the potential spin off's soon. If you haven't read this series, idk what you are doing with your life. You NEED to read this ASAP, or any book by this author.
3.5⭐️ Honest to god, it's been over a year since I read the last book - and I couldn't have been bothered to read it again - which was why I was feeling a little lost while reading this one. The only thing that I vividly remembered (and that stood out to me) was Shiloh getting a concussion EVERY. SINGLE. FUCKING. TIME. It's insane how she recovers from it so fast lmao. Also the way she always says "cheese and rice" instead of swearing/cursing made me go🤨🤨🤨??? Also can we please stop with the whole FMC being stupid and suicidal and trying to save the day by being a hero and not thinking things through? Like, it's giving slasher film vibes where the female character is like "hello? is anybody there?" Yeah, right. As if the murderer's gonna be like "yeah i'm in the kitchen! want a sandwich?" It's ridiculous, that's what it is. Anyways, I'd say that this series was a decent read overall but not something I would particularly read again.
I’ve never rated a book this low before, and I feel terrible, but oh…my god. If you liked this then do not read this because I have a lot of feelings and they are all negative.
I stand by the fact that this should have never been a four book series. I truly think she could have gotten away with two books that were around 400-500ish pages, MAYBE a third book and made them around 350. We waited so long for a 200 page “book that felt like an epilogue. There was virtually no suspense, things moved so fast, she’d have a nightmare, and then they’d take turns having sex with her. Also the smut was very mid. I genuinely didn’t care about any of the scenes when I read them. I didn’t have high hopes because I really struggled with the third book, but I wanted to see how things wrapped up, and well I suppose I did.
Personally I love RH, but the more I thought about it, the specific kind of RH that this was just freaked me out at the end of the day. I mean, they were talking about having kids and the entire time I was like how exactly would that work? She has a biological kid with Knox, and his other dads are also his uncles? Like, I just don’t know. Am I being close minded? If I am please call me out on it, I mean I know ’s fake but I just cannot get down with daddy-uncles.
The characters also felt like they had no depth in this. So much time was spent on over explaining irrelevant details like where everyone sat, or who they slept next to when sleeping on the floor. I also read about Colt’s “hulk side one too many times and I couldn’t help but cringe. Also if I’m getting busy with someone and they say the words “cheese and rice”…I am getting up and leaving. Period.
This review is honestly so mean and I feel BAD okay? Like trust me I really do. But this was just not good. I don’t see myself ever reading something from this author again On the bright side at least it was only 200 pages and I didn’t have to suffer through 600 pages of filler.
okay wow, as much as i loved this series i felt really let down. it was so fast paced but at the same time nothing really was happening.. i loved Shiloh and i’m glad she got her happy ending but i do think the ending could’ve been a bit better. X deserved more than he got if you ask me. overall still loved it but i just wanted more..

This was a little anti-climatic, if I'm being honest. This book tells about a lot of things happening, but doesn't show them. And I think that's part of the limitation of a single POV story. This would have been significantly more impactful if we could have seen some of the action from the other character's POV occasionally: the brothers, Logan, or even Mr. X. But since since it's only Shiloh, we end up reading a lot of summaries and not seeing nearly enough of the culmination built across the four books. So that makes the stakes feel lower and less interesting.
I'm glad there is a resolution, even if it feels rushed. I was also surprised to see the book was so short. It seems like there was room for action. I would have even been okay with less spice if it meant we got a bit more meat in the story. The whole book is basically It was fine, but not exactly memorable
It was a little disappointed following the other 3 books. I feel like it should be called ‘Free me from the cabin in the wood where they are for 60% of the book.
Little plot twists were added in, but they just fell so short you me.
It is by no means a bad book, but I think I’m comparing it to how much I loved the first book and this just isn’t on the same level.
The plot to me is so unique and that is what I loved about the series.
I’m pausing at 68%, but I will go back to it. Mainly because I purchased it, as I brought the rest of the books. It may pick back up, but again I’m at the 68% mark and I am quite bored.
I read the rest of the books in the series last year and right before this book came out I reread.
I'll admit I was a bit nervous once I reread because it was obvious not much else had to happen to tie up the books. I was wondering where the author was going to take it or what she was going to do to keep it interesting...
And what they did was repeat plot for literally half the book!!
We ended up having to reread the night Shilohs family was attacked AGAIN! And it started to become pretty clear that parts of the story were pretty much copy and pasted from past books when it come to "that night".
The last book could have been 100 pages longer to completely tie up the series without the constant repeating and the unnecessary introduction to the spin off series characters.
I'm honestly just so frustrated. I liked this series and it had so much promise... but waiting a year for 100 out of 230 pages to be repeated scenes from the previous book is hard to swallow. The rushed ending with spice scenes cramed in there..
This book felt like the author was over these characters.

I binged this in three hours lol. The writing isn't amazing and the plot is straightforward, but I just had fun reading it, okay.
This is the long-awaited finale for the WITSEC series aaaaaand not much happens to be honest. Basically: Shiloh rescues one of the guys, they all go to the safe house and bang for weeks, and then the final showdown happens before a HEA.
Anti-climatic? Yes. Did I hate it? ....No. It was neat seeing them get to just chill in a closed environment. I honestly didn't mind Shiloh continuously running off on her own lmao. Her choices added to the drama and I cackled that the guys just adapted to her tendencies rather than force her to change her ways.
Overall, this series was a nice way to spend my time. Not gold tier level, but still enjoyable. Also the sheriff is the dumbest guy I've read to date. The guy seriously GETS IN CONTACT WITH A SERIAL KILLER AND HAS THE AUDACITY TO BE SHOCKED WHEN SAID SERIAL KILLER OFFS HIS KID AND HER FRIENDS. Goodbye.
PS: Don't come for me but Mr. X's little prologue? I understand he's the bad guy (in the not sexy way) but that last paragraph was 👀🤌
ALSO: I NEED THE M.A.D SPIN OFF SERIES. THEY SOUND HOT.
I’m so troubled writing this review because I’ve loved the previous books, but this one fell a bit flat for me, it stagnated a little. I kept waiting for the big twist or big shock but it never happened, everything felt very predictable with regards to what Shiloh and the boys would do and then where this would end 😩 still everything got answered and wrapped up which is good. Although a lot of the one and one scenes were hot, for a RH I would have expected more group scenes and definitely exploration of the anal play rather than a one line summary in the last chapter. Overall it felt rushed and underdeveloped for me, such a shame for such good previous books.
This book is amazing! I loved every minute of reading it. This is the last book of the series and I devoured it. This book really wrapped things up for the series. It showed Shilo’s strength that had been building up in the last three books. This book had a lot more spice than the other books and I loved it. I liked how it wrapped up all the dead ends and the ending was great as well. I’m sad that I read it this fast because there is no more books in the series but I did love finishing the series finally!
i already know this is going to be a 5 star rating. the way this series has me in a choke hold is unbelievable. i am currently writing this on the 4th of january, 2023 and i’m curious as to what the new cover will be. yellow? with sunflowers maybe? i guess yellow reminds me of hope and happiness. we’re gonna need that, especially for last book :) i can’t wait!!! i’m back to re-read the others for the third time <3 maybe a 4th and 5th as well since this one releases in august :D
This one was such a let down! I burned through the first 3 in this series and EAGERLY awaited the 4th and final book and since miss Ashley took an entire year to get this one finished I really thought it would be worth the wait yet here I am wondering what the fuck I just read. Within the first 2 chapters a series of the most predictable events happens as well as all of her training/badassery goes out the window which was such a lazy choice to me. They you have the entire middle 95% of the book where they are just hiding and boning ( someone let the author know that we were here for the action not the smut. as should be proven by the entire lack of smut in the entire first book). But the FMC was robbed of all skill and logic so we had a book full of lackluster spice.
I don't think anything in this book was true to the main character and I don't understand how it took a year to write.
I binged all four books in the WITSEC series in a weekend, and overall, ’s really good. The plot is engaging throughout, and although it has dark elements, the central characters are lovely and heartwarming.
So, WITSEC is a now-completed suspenseful why-choose romance series that had me hooked until the end. It follows Shiloh, who’s starting a new life in witness protection after the traumatic murder of her family when she moves in next door to the delightful Stone brothers.
SPOILERS BELOW 3 2 1 . . .
Find Me (WITSEC 1) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book is an excellent start to the series. Shiloh is dealing with some severe trauma, but instead of wallowing, she's been learning to defend herself with the help of her uncle Logan. She does give strong I’m not like other girls vibes with some interesting opinions on food. But seriously, every guy she meets is obsessed with her, and every girl hates her - ’s a lot.
The Stone brothers are, of course, all very swoon-worthy in their own way. Colt is a caring sweetheart, Creed is the grump, Keelan is the flirty one, and Knox is the tough guy. They're a perfect group for why-choose romance.
This one ends on a cliffhanger, so it was impossible not to jump into book two.
Save Me (WITSEC 2) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Poor Shiloh cannot catch a break. Following the cliffhanger ending of book one, Shiloh is spiralling into some serious PTSD. She’s working through a lot of feelings, and the dynamics of her relationship with the Stone brothers is evolving.
The drama with her school bullies and the Sheriff feels unnecessary and distracting, but I have a sneaky feeling the dots will join eventually.
Of course, there’s another cliffhanger ending, but we love it.
Love Me (WITSEC 3) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Although I did enjoy this book, a lot of the plot felt a bit pointless. I couldn’t be arsed to read any more of them exercising too - like I’ve barely moved from my sofa all weekend, please don’t remind me.
I appreciated the character growth, and there were lots of sweet and spicy moments to enjoy too.
Another abrupt cliffhanger ending - my thoughts are with everyone who read these books as they were released because it couldn’t be me.
Free Me (WITSEC 4) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall, this was a really satisfying ending to the series. Seeing Shiloh finally coming face to face with Mr. X was so good and worth the chapters of filler that I feel like I had to work through.
As far as romantic suspense goes, this is an excellent series. Still, with fewer dream sequences and flashbacks, it could have easily been three books.
So, I really enjoyed this series, It's very binge-able and I'm looking forward to jumping into more of Ashley N. Rostek’s books.
I feel bamboozled. I've waited a year for only 200 pages or so. 🤔
Shis' decision making in this book was truly stupid. The only thing that I did like, was the relationship development between Shi and the boys...(Except for the part where she stops fleeing to the safe house to have sex, so she is tired and can go to sleep in the back of the car 🤦🏼♀) The suspense is great. But the build up is met with lackluster decision making.
I feel a bit let down.

2.5/5! heavy fucking sigh. disappointment. i don’t even know what this was, ’s like the author just got bored with the characters and couldn’t wait to be finished with them.
the relationship? hahaha not even going to last 3 years, this is one of them books when you just KNOW the characters are breaking up after the epilogue.
the plot? WHERE?? all of that build up just for THAT?! definitely wasted my time, so repetitive and boring!! literally each book summarised: somebody new hates or is obsessed with Shiloh, Shiloh gets attacked, Stone brothers make life decisions for her. Shiloh doesn’t like being told what to do = big arguments = breaking up for 2 hours before having sex and getting back together. EASILY could’ve been a duet.
the characters? what. the. fuck. Shiloh was just not it. book one and two Shiloh has my heart but book three and four she just got ruined. Knox ughhhh this man was just whatever. humouring myself for a moment, if the relationship was too last between them all, Knox and Shiloh would 100% break up and no one can convince me differently. Keelan he was just lowkey forgotten about, only a couple of moments of him, reallyyy disappointing. Creed and Colt are the only two people i like/love in this book everyone else can just get fucked tbh
on a positive note the covers are gorgeous so that’s good ig
I really enjoyed the whole series. I have to say that the first and second book are the best ones, but the other two are good as well, just not that good to give them 5 stars.
I really liked that Shi was the one that ended with Mr. X. I think it was the best way to end the story. And her love life was 5 stars since the beginning, not doubt about that.
currently read in 4 hours need time to process my feelings.
okay back with my review - 5 ⭐️
“I couldn’t let what I was feeling consume me. Not right now. Not with so much at stake. I had to bury it. To survive.
this series will always, always have my whole heart. I loved everything about this ending. it wrapped up extremely nicely. the plot & how it came full circle felt purposeful. there was so much growth in this book, mainly from Shi & I think ’s exactly what I needed. she was pretty broken throughout books 1-3 so watching her truly embrace & overcome all the obstacles was my favorite part to see. the guys were always incredibly supportive & oof they were HOT. wow the spice in this book was next level compared to the others & I got exactly what I needed from them all.
knox, included. OH MAN. 🫠
“If I don’t have your full attention when I’m fucking you, then I’m not doing it right.
the 360 ending was so good. the tension with everything surrounding Mr X & the sheriff. WOW. y’all are in for a treat.
but I am also unprepared at the ending of this series, I did not want it to be over, but i’m completely happy with the ending. 🥹

⭐️⭐️.75 stars. I am so sad to report this but this book was so underwhelming and disappointing. 😩😩. Like where were the life or death situations?? The suspense?? And I’m surprised to be saying this, there were maybe too many spicy scenes. And one spicy time that should have been written, but wasn’t just merely mentioned. I did like that we finally got a full spicy scene with Knox, and that there weren’t any issues with all of them anymore. But I just expected more fighting than there was. And the book was entirely too short, and not even an epilogue 😭😭. Like in the last chapter, there was more telling that showing. Like no full scenes about the things we needed closure in just a little paragraph about it. Hopefully she’ll create a new series with the new characters that were introduced and we might see Shiloh and her men again, but ugh I needed so much more than we got.
Favorite quotes/scenes:
“Are you still mad at me? (Shiloh) “Yes, but I still want to hold you. (Colt)
“Would you still find me attractive if I was bald? (Shiloh) “Yes, they all said without hesitation. “You all said that a little too quickly.
“You’re my family, Knox. You, Keelan, Colt, and Creed. The four of you are my family. I love you so much that I’d endure a lifetime of nightmares so long as the four of you were safe.
“After Mr. X killed my family, the only thing I wanted out of this life was to know what it was like to feel happy again. You four came into my life and gave me that. “Hearing that just made me equally happy and sad, baby girl. (Keelan) “Some people go their whole lives without knowing happiness. Mine is multiplied by four.
“I’m the only one fucking you, Shiloh. If you don’t want me to think I’m a god, you better start moaning my name. (Knox)
“That first time you grounded me, I really thought I might have met my soulmate. I am certain now that you are. (Keelan) “I love you, pretty boy. (Shiloh) “I love you, too, baby girl. (Keelan)
“I want what I wanted before, and I want it with the four of you. I want to spend the rest of my life placing bets with you and Colt, I want to spar with Keelan, and I want to rebel against Knox. He may act like he doesn’t like it, but we all know that he enjoys it.
“Since ’s heaven between my legs, I think that makes me the god. (Shiloh) “I love you. (Knox) “I know. I love you, too. (Shiloh)
“I think we should have her change her name in a year. (Creed) “And what will I be changing my name to? (Shiloh) “Stone. (Knox) “Shiloh Stone. (Keelan) “Chef Stone. It has a nice ring to it. (Colt) “She’ll be Mrs. Stone. (Creed)
OMG I read the ARC of this and it was soooo Freakin good and definitely worth the wait!!
Those Stone brothers.. phew! 🥵😈
This book picks up straight after the events of Love Me, Isabelle is being taken to hospital after Mr X attacked her and left the message for Shi and no one can contact Colt!!
I really can’t say too much because i don’t wanna ruin the twists! Lol but this book was full on from the start. There was never a dull moment and this was the perfect ending to the series.
How do I feel about this? On the one hand I loved what we got On the other hand I also wanted more The length of the previous books never bothered me before, because I never felt like anything was missing, and they were all building up to this big thing that I knew would happen in the last book. The biggest difference was how the other books would fill me with angst and adrenaline regarding X, and overflow with emotion when reading about her emotional journey in particular. That wasn’t really the case here. I felt like once she left her fear behind and were left being mostly angry I kind of knew she would make it out relatively safely.
The scene at the beginning of the book felt more like the climax to me than the actual climax of the story. Not knowing what would happen to Colt, or whether or not X would be there when she arrived. Not to mention Derek showing up. It wouldn’t have shocked me if he had been killed. This was in other words a great addition to the book.
Logan’s part at the end didn’t feel as special considering the strained relationship he had had with Shiloh through the entire series, and I didn’t feel the bond between them that I had in the first book. It would have been more captivating had one of her boyfriends been there.
I wanted more with Isabelle and Ethan, and the Sheriff and what happened with his daughter. I feel like the biggest mistake with this book was the characters leaving the city for the majority of it. They should have somehow been forced to stay and be in the thick of it, instead of holding up in some cabin, not knowing what was happening. Had the book been longer this would have been fine, but it wasn’t even 300 pages.
I am really sad this didn’t leave me as satisfied as I had hoped, because this is truly one of my favourite book series, and my go to recommendation for “why choose
