Isabelle and Booker are a perfect match. She's outspoken and takes no crap and wants to be her own person. Her brothers sure know how to get under her skin and I like her mother. When she's kidnapped, Booker will stop at nothing to get her back. I am concerned about Forest and what's wrong with him. There's plenty of action, suspense, intrigue and daring escapes. HEA for now. This is book two in The Guardian Hostage Rescue Specialists Bravo Team Series and it is Isabelle (Izzy) and Booker's story and omg it is definitely a must read. When Izzy was rescued but The Guardian's with her friend in Nicaragua after being abducted she was in The Guardian's compound as she has a job with them as a Pharmacist in the on-site hospital and after a lot of phone calls and texts from her family she decides to fly home to see them also it will get her away from Booker who is a guardian and she also has a crush on him but all they seem to do is argue so she needs this break not knowing that she will be in danger. Booked hasn't had a easy life and he used to be a exotic dancer to keep his family together and put food on the table and he was also a playboy and could get any woman that he wanted and then he became a Seal and his life has changed as now he is a guardian helping rescue women who are in danger and bringing them home and that is his calling but at the moment it is Izzy that is taking up most of his headspace as he can't stop thinking about and she is also driving him and as she will not give in to him even though they constantly bicker and argue and he didn't know what to do next. When Booker finds out that Izzy has gone to see her family and put a target on her back and everyone around her he knows that he will do everything possible to get to her and keep her safe but things don't always go as planned. Wow Wow Wow I couldn't put this book down as it was so addictive and I was on the edge of my seat with my heart in my mouth wondering what would happen next and if Booker and the team would get there in time to save Izzy and her family. Danger is just around the corner watching and waiting to strike but will they get through this and get the happy ending that they both deserve or will they be too late missing out on something special. Ellie Masters certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and the depth of her story's are what makes you go back time and time again to read her book's and I definitely recommend you read this book and other's by her and you will not be disappointed.

This is the second book in this series and we met both Isabelle and Booker in the first book There is an instant connection between these two but both of them are wary She is over alpha males and Booker is definitely all alpha While Booker who has been a bit of a playboy up until now doesn't know how to handle caring about someone and just seems to make things worse between them all the time Wanting a break from him Isabelle heads to visit her family where she has to contend with her overprotective brothers But no one expected her to be kidnapped again Now Brooker is determined to get her back This is a fast paced ride that once you start you won't want to put down so be prepared for a late night.

Booker and Isabelle’s story. Isabelle is recovering form the kidnapping during her work in Nicaragua. With her 4 protective brothers and her parents.what happens next is what you should read. Suspense to the max. Heart breaking and heart stopping. I read until late in the night. I absolutely recommend this book to anybody who loves romantic suspense.

This one definitely deserves so much more than 5 stars!!
Oh my actual goodness, I actually wish I could forget about this book so I can read it again for the first time. This one definitely deserves so much more than 5 stars!! From the opening pages to the very last one, Ellie Masters takes the reader on an edge of your seat, nail-biting adventure…right from the beginning to the very end it is non stop exciting with action, mystery and suspense!! What more could you ask for. This book is totally awesome!! Loved it and can’t wait to read the next book. Happy reading everyone

The action and suspense in this book is great just like in the first one. Their planning and execution were really exciting to read.
However, I'm not sure whether the book is more focused on the rescuing and issues related to cartels or the romance. I'm thinking more of the idea that the romance is just an added info for the plot. Thus making it very awful and always insta-love.
The connection between the MCs is nowhere to be found. The two of them together is boring even their lines. Don't know how I keep up with this.
Izzy is supposed to be smart girl yet everytime she opens her mouth it's like her lines came from a naive person who don't have a clue in the world. Which really pissed me of a lot. I'm all for voicing out your thoughts but when it comes out like a whining or inquisition from petulant teenager, it doesn't look cute anymore.
Booker is a dick, he says he's in love with her but can't stop himself from aggravating her. I'll get this attitude from a teenager but from a 31 yo man, uhm, what is wrong with him? However, I did like the fact how he never stopped trying to rescue Izzy, that's a really plus point for him.
And when they successfully rescued her, a lot of problems came out all of sudden. A whole set of issues have been laid for the next book and this really made my head aches. There's just so much that's happening and that the higher-ups knows so much information but relaying messages through looks and glares annoys the hell out of me. Probably that's why the readers have to continue the series to know what's really going on. Getting crumbs from each book is not something I really enjoyed at all. Then again maybe it's just me because I want to know everything immediately.
Don't even get started with me from the moment they decide to be together. I've never been a fan of playboy heroes, the reformed playboy trope isn't something i dig, but I read this because I was hoping a resolution for the issue from the first book. Unfortunately the issue is still unresolved. The moment they're finally together the author has to remind us with his promiscuity. I never wanted the image of the hero with other women or how he did it with them. I don't need that image in my head. After this awful reminder of his history the scene jump to the two of them starting to have sex. Please give me a goddamn break! I haven't bleached out his information yet from my mind. Their first time is supposed to be sweet and swoony at least how I view it, but then Booker's history has to ruin the moment. I didn't enjoy reading the spicy scene, I was annoyed all throughout that part.
Did I mention this was insta-love? After she was rescued they decide it's time to stop playing around with each other. Then after another hot minute he's proposing to her. I mean whyyy does it have to be so fast? I really would love to see how their relationship will progress yet the ending felt rushed.
I wrote from the first book review that I'll give the other books a chance. However, I'm seeing a pattern of insta-love that made the MCs connection not even adorable, it was awful for my own taste. Unfortunately, I won't be reading the succeeding books for the mean time, will probably reconsider in the future.

This is a fast paced, very enjoyable and captivating book. Isabelle, (Izzy to all but Booker), is a bit of a handful, doesn’t take orders well and is determined to make a difference in the world. Her overprotective, macho brothers are forever trying her last nerve with their obnoxious antics and attitudes. She joined Doctors Without Borders to help make a difference and partly to be free from her brothers. She was kidnapped in Nicaragua along with her friends and colleagues and was rescued by SEAL Team Bravo part of the Guardian Hostage Rescue group. Booker, one of her rescuers was immediately attracted to the outspoken and somewhat innocent beauty, but she is doing her best to shut him down. Isabelle accepts a job with the Guardians which means she will see Booker, at least on occasion, but she does her best to deny the feelings of attraction and any tender feelings she may be harbouring because the last thing she wants is another alpha male in her life. When she goes home to visit her family, all hell breaks out for a variety of reasons, and Isabelle is kidnapped again. Booker and his team are determined to find and retrieve her, and this time when he gets her back, he is never letting her go.
I loved that a tough alpha SEAL like Booker falls hard and quickly for a woman who is determined to keep him at bay. He has a rather checkered past, a playboy reputation, but once he sees Isabelle, none of it matters except that he has to work harder to claim her and to show her that he is more than willing to have only one woman in his arms and bed as long as it is her. Finding and rescuing Isabelle isn’t easy and is fraught with danger and unexpected twists and turns, which makes for a really captivating story that you won’t be able to put down or forget. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series!.

Isabelle (Izzy) was recued from the cartel in the first Guardian Hostage Rescue book. She had been kidnapped with Angie as well as their Doctors Without Borders team. Izzy and Angie will be working with the Guardians and are going through orientation. She has a major crush on Booker of the Guardians. Booker had a tough childhood and helped his mom put food on the table by becoming an exotic dancer. He had no trouble getting any woman he wanted into his bed. He was a player. Becoming a member of the Guardians to protect and rescue those in need is so fulfilling. But when he meets Izzy, he lost interest in any other woman. All Booker and Izzy do is verbally spar when near each other. Yet the attraction is so intense. Izzy grew up with the dingleberries (4 over protective brothers) and doesn't want to be told what to do anymore. And Booker definitely feels protective of her and this is driving her nuts. So she decides to go home to visit her family and that move puts her in danger. The cartel was watching and waiting and they get to her. Kidnap her. And...... you need to read this book. It is full of danger, plot twists and turns, delightful verbal volleys between Izzy and Booker, suspense, protector alpha, strong female and that kiss. Great story and I had a certain actor/ dancer in mind when I was visualizing Booker.

Rescuing Isabelle is the story of Bravo Two (Booker) and Isabelle who we meet in Rescuing Angie. As with other Ellie Masters books you don't have to read the first book in the series but trust me, you won't be disappointed getting to know Bravo!
Izzy and Booker have a clear attraction but seem to be like oil and water, always fighting. Booker reminds Izzy too much of her over protective brothers and Booker doesn't know how to be anything other than who he is.
When Izzy decides she needs a break from the fighting she returns home to Texas for a vacation and to see her family. This unfortunately gets the attention of the group involved in the abduction from Rescuing Angie. While she is travelling, the rest of the Guardians team realizes there is more to what happened with Angie and Izzy. This gets the attention of Booker who, with his team, head to Texas to protect Izzy and her family. Unfortunately they don't arrive in time and Izzy is abducted.
This is her story and the usual host of characters appears to try to bring her home - Mitzy, Skye, Forrest, Sam, CJ and the rest of Bravo. Her abduction challenges the team and frustrates Booker when he realizes that his feelings run deeper than he really wanted to acknowledge.
The scenes with Izzy and Booker are hot and their first kiss is not for the faint of heart!

Believing they were selling weapons to rival cartels, Isabelle LaCroix and her fellow team members were kidnaped in Nicaragua while working with Doctors Without Borders. While on a forced vacation in Costa Rica, Brady Malone recognized cartel hostage Angie Maddox on TV, called in his Bravo team and set off to find her. Booker Holloway was one of the Bravo team members there to help rescue the hostages and most of their doctors. Since then, he and Isabelle have feelings for each other but she has reservations about taking it any further. Both ladies have joined Guardians HRS and are about to go through orientation before the indecisive Isabelle rebels and decides to go home to Texas for a few days without telling her friends ahead of time. What she found out was once she purchased an airline ticket, she put a target on her whereabouts and the bad guys are coming for her. Isabelle is kidnapped and taken to the fortified estate of Maximus Angelo, Nicaragua’s Minister of the Interior. Maximus is after the man who killed his cousin when he held Angie at gunpoint when the Bravo team rescued her and the remaining Doctors Without Borders team. Being kidnapped again, this time by Maximus, Bravo team is returning to Nicaragua to rescue Booker’s woman. What they didn’t expect was an extra person joining them during the rescue.

Wow, my kindle just went up in a huge inferno with the chemistry which is Bookers and Isabelle's. Izzy has already been rescued once by the Bravo team, and is now a member of the Guardian Hostage Rescue Specialists in their medical facility. Booker, (Bravo 2), is insanely hot and constantly pushes Izzy's buttons, which results in a love/hate relationship, full of arguing and constant sparring, until Izzy decides to go home to her family and get some respite. Meanwhile, the Guardians have been working on why it was the cartel originally kidnapped her and her colleagues. They realise that by going back home, Izzy has inadvertently put herself, her parents and her four over-protective brothers in real danger.
There's plenty of action, twists and turns, as Izzy and Bookers journey plays out. Izzy's family are at the heart of all the early action. Special mention for her mum very squarely putting Booker in his place in the phone call he made to Izzy - brilliantly done. Now Booker will stop at nothing to find and rescue Izzy for a second time!! I loved the way that Izzy's feistiness and her calm demeanor under stress comes through, along with Booker's single minded determination whilst understanding that his need to kill those who hurt Izzy must be held back . As for that first kiss ...................... that was something else!!

Ellie Masters has a new team of Guardians on duty and their stories are ready to be heard. Bravo Team has been furloughed, but now they are back and they are bringing the suspense and steamy chemistry with them.
We met Booker and Isabelle (Izzy) in Rescuing Angie and now Rescuing Isabelle just continues on with that story. It was easy to tell that Booker had a soft spot for Izzy when they met but Izzy took her time warming up to Booker's brand of possession and protection. She's had enough protection to last her a lifetime with 4 Texan brothers keeping an eye on her. Booker has his hands full trying to lasso Izzy to his side.
Booker and Isabelle's story is chocked full of suspense and spitfire chemistry. Each chapter has you chomping at the bit to see what happens next. Someone should tell Izzy that she is her own worst enemy and having a Guardian in your corner is not such a bad idea.
Ellie Masters continues to pound out the words and bring amazing stories to the page. Each one has its interconnected characters and theme, but they are always different and refreshing. I'm totally a Guardian junkie now. Of course, there is this little plot she is weaving into the books that has to involve Forest. I have my suspicions about where that is heading but we'll have to wait and see what the mastermind has up her sleeve.

Booker and Isabelle's story is chocked full of suspense and spitfire chemistry. Each chapter has you chomping at the bit to see what happens next. Someone should tell Izzy that she is her own worst enemy and having a Guardian in your corner is not such a bad idea.
Ellie Masters continues to pound out the words and bring amazing stories to the page. Each one has its interconnected characters and theme, but they are always different and refreshing. I'm totally a Guardian junkie now. Of course, there is this little plot she is weaving into the books that has to involve Forest. I have my suspicions about where that is heading but we'll have to wait and see what the mastermind has up her sleeve.

Rescuing Isabelle is the next book in The Guardian Hostage Rescue Specialists BRAVO Team Series. Book two finds Angie and Izzy now working for the Guardian Hostage Rescue Specialists in their medical facility. This puts our two heroines from Rescuing Angie face to face with the alpha men of Team BRAVO. Angie who has already fallen for her alpha, Brady , now is watching her friend fall hard for her alpha Booker. But Izzy is not going to go fall hard without some pushing and pulling from one Booker. Can Booker and Izzy give up their battle of wills towards each other to finally have their HEA or will they kill their relationship before it even gets started. This book was full of the action and banter you have come to expect from Ellie Masters. I loved that Izzy was not just a push over for a good looking man in uniform, instead she was true to herself and an independent woman. Booker is the true essence of an alpha male, running to the rescue to save the woman he wants. Rescuing Isabelle is a very action packed read for those who love a good alpha male romance.

From arguments full of sexual tension to a standoff to a kidnapping and then a rescue, this action-packed story has it all. Yet another great read by Ellie Masters. The chemistry between Booker and Isabelle is explosive to say the least. You can feel it in every interaction they have. Booker is overprotective and overwhelming like her brothers, the Dingelberries, whom we met in Rescuing Angie. Everyone is telling Isabelle what she should do. She wants to stand on her own and show her fierce independence and strength and avoid the overwhelming smothering of the men in her life. She doesn't need a man telling her what to do and where to go. This protective nature comes full circle as Bravo team works with her family to try to keep her safe and ultimately bring her home. Isabelle works hard to overcome her lifelong fears in addition to the fear she faces once captured. She definitely shows us her true strength and resilience throughout this story. Bravo team is looking to be just as amazing as Alpha team was and looking forward to the next book.

Intense and suspenseful writing that grabbed my attention and never let up. Ellie Masters is an author I definitely want to read more of her books!
The storyline picks up after book 2 in the series which I haven’t read yet. I had a few moments where I wished I had read the previous book for more context to the situations being discussed or referenced by the characters. As you will see by my 5-star rating this didn’t prevent me from loving this story.
I’m mildly claustrophobic and at one point while Isabelle was held by her kidnapper, the storyline nearly triggered a panic attack due to Ellie’s realistic writing. I’ve never had this happen before! This said not to alarm other readers, but to compliment the author’s writing talent.
The chemistry between Isabella and Booker is scorching HOT! They are so intensely attracted to each other my kindle nearly melted. This is definitely a series I want to continue reading, and I will be reading the previous series about Alpha Team.

I love this series, there's just something about these action heroes I can't resist.Ìý They lure me in with their pure alpha maleness, I love their strength and protective natures, the way these guys snap into action all guns blazing to rescue those in need is the ultimate aphrodisiac.Ìý

It is a knack that Ellie Masters has that she is able to bring humor into the most stressful situations, and Izzy's brothers (her name for them at least) achieve that here. She also has a knack of getting readers invested in her characters, and my heart ached for Forest; if anyone deserves peace, it’s that man � Ellie�. Please?

But Nicaragua comes back to bite them � or is it really Izzy who’s the target? After Izzy refuses a tracker because nothing’s going to happen to her, her realization of the foolishness of that decision is one of the highlights of the book. The story is fast-paced, there are cameos from other team members, and most of all, there is Forest, always the towering figure. Oh and Mitzy � there’s a lot of Mitzy this time, and she becomes more of a favourite with each book. I recommend this series wholeheartedly; actually, I recommend all of these series, and I look forward eagerly to each new book.

This book has all the feels. Funny, aggravating, terrifying, anxiousness, military grade testosterone, swooning.
I've probably said it before, but this author amazes me with her descriptive attention to details, making you feel like you're in the moment with the characters and just as in awe of Mitzy's magic. And her electronics, too. I enjoyed that we had already met Isabelle and Booker in GHRSBT #1. I loved the banter between Isabelle and Booker, but I especially loved the rescue. (That's not a spoiler, read the title!) I really liked Isabelle's family. This may be the first (that I remember) that we see so much interaction with the female's family. I loved it and them!
When are we going to be able to give more than 5 stars to a deserving book?

Loved this great entertaining military romance. Fantastic and rather delicious characters, sexy encounters, great action sequences to protect and save loved ones and enough sass from Isabelle to really provide entertaining moments of great sexual tension. There was a balanced mixture of emotional scenarios throughout the storyline to keep me entertained and and focused to finish this truly fantastic read. Noticing this is book two in the series and not having read the first book I didn't feel lost by the lack of any previous storyline, therefore I would suggest it is an easily read book without venturing from the beginning of the series but knowing how enjoyable this book and its many characters were, I'm more than happy to search out the first title. But certainly can see how this series can continue and actually dying to know.

This is book 2 of the Guardian Hostage Rescue Specialists series Bravo Team. All I can say is WOW! This book is definitely a page turner. Full of heart pounding suspense, drama, action. Booker knows Isabelle is his "One". Convincing her is going to take some work. Never one to back down from a challenge, he is all in. Izzy is attracted to Booker but, she's convinced that he is a player. When they are in the same room, sparks fly. She is determined to forget about him and goes back home for a bit of distance from him. Worst decision ever... she's taken and there's nothing Booker won't do to get her back, no matter what. Their road to their HEA is anything but easy but, anything worth having never is. Trust me, you want to get this book ASAP. Sorry, no spoilers. I received this ARC and here is my honest review.

Izzy is recovering from being kidnapped and is moving on with her life. She decides to go home to visit her family, and ends up kidnapped again!
Booker is realizing his feelings for Isabelle are more than he thought, and he will do anything to rescue her.
Thankfully the Guardians do what they do best and Booker and Bravo Team set out to save Isabelle.
When these two finally come together, wow it is intense and steamy.

Bravo Two, Booker has had a crush on Isabelle since he assisted in her rescue with her friend Angie. Izzy loved her job with Doctors without Borders because it was one way to get out of her small town and away from her over protective brothers, lovingly named the Dingleberries. She's attracted to Booker, but he seems just as over protective as her brothers so instead of giving into the attraction she fights him at every turn. I loved her interactions with Booker and her family. When she's once again in danger, I loved the mystery and her firm belief Booker would save her. Their "love" was kind of an instant one in a way, but again, I feel like it worked for them.

Chapter two in this new series of Guardian Hostage Rescue - Bravo Team Book Two. Sparks fly between Isabelle and Booker. They just rub each other the wrong way, or Booker can't help himself. He likes to get her motor running. Recommending that they belong together, he gets advise to not go guns blazing, but his response is fabulous, "You're basically telling me not to breathe. I'm a protector at heart." Loved her family, the Dingleberries and totally swoon worthy when Booker interacts with her mom and family over the phone for the very first time. This is one kick a@s book. with the robot dogs, the rescue and the over the top kiss from a rope. No doubt, shining bright are wonderful words as well. Always, always love books by Ms. Masters

Loved this book by Ellie Masters, it had it all the alpha males, the strong female character, the suspense, and above all else the romance. Amazing story with strong lead characters, Booker, a Guardian of Bravo Team and Isabelle (Izzy) a Pharmacist with the medical team, Doctors Without Borders. In the first book Izzy and her friend Angie had been kidnapped by the cartel. So, now in the second book all the guardians and especially Booker are being over-protective. Do Booker and Izzy get their HEA? Recommend picking up this book for an amazing read. Once I started reading I could not put it down, what a talented writer/story teller Ms Masters is. I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

Rescuing Isabelle is the 2nd book for Bravo Team and continues the suspense plot while telling Booker's and Isabelle's story. Their tug-of-war is entertaining, their verbal battles witty and fun while the chemistry is leaping of the pages. Not only do we get to re-visit Angie and Brady, but also meet up with Isabelle's family in Texas. I'm partial to Texans anyway, but you just have to love those guys! A great combination with an happy ending for the couple but hints of more trouble to come when the next team member meets his match.

In "Rescuing Isabelle" by Ellie Masters, after being rescued by the Guardians in Nicaragua, Isabelle has accepted a new job with them as their pharmacist. While she loves her new job, her frequent run ins and arguments with Booker who she has a love hate relationship with makes her new situation difficult. In an effort for some relief she goes to visit her family, and disappears again and Bookers off to the rescue to save her from danger. I love the relationship between Isabelle and Booker and felt like we just saw the beginning naughtiness of it, just a tease. Isabelle's family was a kick, her brothers could be a book saga on their own. Shame they're a little to old to become Navy SEALS.
