Two novels in one from bestselling author Janet Evanovich Three to Get Deadly A "saintly" old candy-store owner is on the lam-and bounty hunter extraordinaire Stephanie Plum is on the case. As the body count rises, Stephanie finds herself dealing with dead drug dealers and slippery fugitives on the chase of her life. And with the help of eccentric friends and family, Steph must see to it that this case doesn't end up being her last... Janet Evanovich is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Stephanie Plum series, the Lizzy and Diesel series, twelve romance novels, the Alexandra Barnaby novels and Trouble Maker graphic novel, and How I Write: Secrets of a Bestselling Author, as well as the Fox and O'Hare series with co-author Lee Goldberg.
I absolutely love the Stephanie Plum series. It is a brainless, fun read that literally makes me laugh out loud. Pretty much every book has the same story line, but the characters are hysterical. Luna and Grandma Mazur are my favorites! I wouldn't mind "meeting" Morelli and Ranger and when I have read a lot of heavy books, these are great "quick reads" to lighten my spirits and enjoy.
I have friends who have read only one Stephanie Plum book, hated it, and wouldn't consider picking up another. I don't understand this; I mean, seriously, nothing was funny. I love these books. I laugh until I hurt, and then I laugh some more. Read a chapter. If it’s not funny, so be it. Not for everybody, I guess. But please read a chapter…you may thank me.
I think Evanovich is one of the funniest writers ever and I've read just about everything she's written. I've even had to watch where I'm reading her books because I tend to laugh out loud in some parts and then people start to look at me rather strangely.
I have read this author since the very first Stephanie Plum mysteries and have laughed until I cried reading these as they are so funny and cry worthy.
I love Janet's way of writing this character from the very beginning to the very end.
I think all of her characters in the Plum mysteries are on point.
I thoroughly enjoy the Stephanie Plum series. Books 10 and beyond started getting a little monotonous for me (my personal opinion) but otherwise I find Janet Evanovich's books to be very light and entertaining reads.
Fun books!!! You cant read these and not laugh or smile. They are very enjoyable stories and fun reads. Silly plots, interesting characters, and hot guys, I don't need much more :-)
It is difficult to separate the Stephanie Plum books. I have read them all almost as fast as they are published. They got me through a difficult time in my life when I was laid up and they occupied my time. Some of the books I would read in two days. I call them eye candy. I love her characters, whether it be Lula, Grandma, or the bad guys coming up to shoot up her apartment and blow up her car. Rex in the soup can is fun because we always had a hamster too. If people haven't read her books they are missing out on some great reads. Sometimes the library has a waiting list a mile long for her new releases. I really enjoy Granny's visits to the viewings at the funeral homes. Her Writing makes my brain run free.
I immediately fell for Stephanie Plum ... how can you not! She is a train wreck with plenty of mascara, and a fantastic family! Can't wait for more adventures!
I have read the first 22 as well as the In-Between the Plums stories and I am so ready for the next several!
Another fun ride from Janet Evanovich. I've read all the Stephanie Plum books. Quick read, light and funny. Good break between the heavier books I also read.
