Unfortunately, this story felt a bit too rushed due to the length. I did not buy that they were so in love so fast. The misunderstanding/breakup could have been avoided with a simple conversation, and the groveling was not nearly enough. The only reason this is a 3 and not a 2 is that I was expecting it to be light on plot, considering it's a novella, I was mainly looking for sweet and steamy which this was. So far what it is, it's fine.

I enjoyed this short quick read. I loved the characters. Addy is super down to earth and just goes with the flow. Trevor is a grumpy fireman who has sworn off women. I felt it was too predictable which is why I only gave it 3.5 stars. Overall a cute story and I'm Thankful for the copy from LM Fox.

Don’t get too cocky
I think this is my first book by this author, but it won’t be my last. I’m not usually one for contemporary romance, but the cover really drew me in. The story is fast-paced with just the right amount of sassy lady and broody alpha male. I really enjoyed the characters. They grew their relationship slowly with the help of their friends and family and it was fun to watch them flounder and succeed. This book was the perfect early morning read, and I’m looking forward to reading more books by this author.

This was a sweet novella. Both main characters had been hurt by past relationships, and played a game of cat and mouse around each other. Flawed communication featured heavily. For a novella, it felt like there was a bit too much happening a lot of the time and I think the story would have benefitted from being explored more, but I also get that this was the format required. Still well worth a read.

Cute, steamy novella. I love stories like this, grumpy guy gets the sweet girl. Love the firefighter storyline. LM Fox’s writing is great, tells the story and you really get into it!

WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a little bit of a longer read than what I am use to, but it was a nice change of pace for me!
Trevor mets Addison when he comes to Sycamore Mountain to get away from a cheating girlfriend. When Trevor and Addison met theirs a spark between them but he is not interest in starting another relationship to be cheated on. Addy knows that something happened to Trevor but she can feel the connection they share with one another. Trevor came to Sycamore Mountain and joined the fire department, he is also taking classes online for IT in his down time. Addy works at Honey Bunz but wants to start her own cake business. Addy has dyslexia and while her family all when on to college and became honors she did not. Trevor and Addy met several time when they are both out at the same bars, they talk to one another but he knows he needs to keep his distance. Trevor tells Addy he'll give her one night, but she tells him no, she not a whore. Then one of Trevor's fellow firefighters gets the idea to make him jealous, he tells Addy his plan. Addy sits with Mitchell and they flirty while Trevor is jealous. When Addy excuses herself to use the restroom Trevor follows her, he pulls her aside and asks her what she's doing to him. Soon they are kissing then heading back to his place. They pleasure one another then make love. The next day Addy heads to work while Trevor heads to the fire station, he shows up at her work and when they kiss everyone is happy. Trevor has friends of his coming into town, so Addy tells him she doesn't want to bother him. Addy has to do a modeling gig anyway, she is only doing it for the money so that she can start her own business. Trevor's ex-girlfriend is there, but Addy doesn't know they're ex's. His ex-girlfriend and the guy she cheated on him with pull Addy into a photo op and soon there pictures are all over the internet. When Trevor sees the photos he leaves Sycamore Mountain and heads home to take care of his mom. Addy comes back to find him gone, and the firefighters tell her that he left, she should just move on. Addy heads back to Honey Bunz and takes off for her gig in Paris, then when she returns she'll stay with an old friend in another town. Trevor comes back after he was drunk and his mom and brother tell him he needs to find out what happened. When Trevor goes to Honey Bunz, Alden, Addy's boss tells him about Addy, her plans and a lot about her he never knew. Soon Trevor is making plans he wants to help Addy with her business. Trevor gets Alden to help with a few things, then they send them to Addy. When she returns to Sycamore Mountain Addy gets to work on opens her cake and cupcake business. When she does interview Trevor comes in, she notices she has an interview with one Richard (Dick) Head and it makes her giggle. Trevor apologies to her, and tells her he doesn't care if she doesn't pay him he wants to help her whether or not she takes him back or not. Addy thinks about giving Trevor another chance, when she takes some cupcakes to the forestation for a fellow firefighter. Addy has a shirt on that reads I like Naughty & Nice. After she delivers the cupcakes she finds Trevor, but she finds out he threw out his shirt. Trevor has another one on that reads I love a girls who's a little sassy a lot smart assy. When they start making out the other firefighters tell Trevor to go home. They head to Trevor's home where they pleasure one another then make love before he gets a call. Three months later, Trevor takes Addy home to met his mom and brother, Noah along with his wife Becca. Trevor's mom, Becca and Addy get along like they're old friends. Four months later, Trevor comes home to find Addy on a Zoom call with his mom and Becca, he overhears them planning a surprise birthday party for him. He finds Addy passed out in the bedroom and puts her to bed. Everyone yells surprise at Trevor's party, but he already knew about it. Addy invited all his family plus several of his friends from Hanover. Addy makes cupcakes of all of Trevor's favorite things. When they are talking about his favorites things on the cupcakes, one of his fellow firefighters buts a small ring box on one of the cupcakes. When Addy turns and sees it she doesn't recognize it, she tells him she didn't make it. Addy takes the cupcake and sees the box is empty but then when she turns to Trevor and he drops to one knee. Trevor tells her she's done so much for him but he wanted to make this one the best one yet and asks her to marry him. Addy asks him where the ring is, and he reaches into his pocket to pull it out then starts over. Trevor asks her if she'll marry him and she tells him yes. Everyone cheers and they say their goodbyes promising to met up later. They head home to celebrate and Trevor knows from this day forward, she’s all his.

I loved this story. So without giving too much away this story is about Trevor Laurence who is a firefighter. His hometown is called Hanover. However after a betrayal by his Ex-girlfriend Ashley, Trevor decides to leave Hanover and move to Sycamore Mountains to start a new life at a different firehouse while he continues his graduate classes for IT. Trevor’s mom wants him to find a nice girl there in his new town however that is the least on Trevor’s mind. When I read what Trevor experience it really hurt me (knowing from personal experience). Ashley definitely doesn’t deserve Trevor. When Trevor gets situated the guys at station 12 welcome Trevor in with open arms, they take him to the bar. That’s when he meets the beautiful Addison Briggs (Addy for short). Addison has her own stuff she is dealing with. (Not so loving family and a disorder). Addy feels a connection to Trevor, however Trevor has his guard up way to high because he is afraid of a repeat. I love Addison and how she doesn’t take no for an answer. She is a strong women. When Trevor misinterprets a picture, shit literally hits the fan and he does the unthinkable and breaks Addison’s heart. It takes the help from his mother, his brother Noah, Alden (addy bakery brother) and the guys at station 12 to help Trevor get Addison back. I died with the name he used Richard Head. (If you don’t know the other name for Richard, look it up lol). I hope a sequel to their love story comes out. I also see that there is other books about this town. I definitely need to look into those. Overall this book was so good. I laughed and cried. It has just enough naughty and nice. Definitely a recommended book to read again.

Addison is a fantabulous baker / model who “doesn’t seem to measure up� to her family’s expectations. She has a dream of owning her own baking business one day. However, feels she can’t because she has dyslexia. Although she is confident and sassy in many ways, she lets her “condition� hold her back from making her dreams come true.
LM Fox brought sweet, sassy, sexy, naughty and nice to life with Addison Briggs and Trevor Laurence! The chemistry and sexual tension between these two was pretty thick! It could be cut with a knife! One of my favourite parts of this story was the “Tequila Shot with Lemon� scene. (I think this will be my new way of shooting tequila!! Lolol)
This was a sweet Novela that I wish was longer. I would’ve loved to have seen more banter between these two and definitely more sexy scenes that would have put a party in my panties!! Lol but as far as a Novela goes, they are usually short and sweet. Another great story by the ever talented LM Fox.

After his girlfriend betrayed him, he decided to steer well clear of pretty young woman. Moving to the small town where he is supposed to start his new job, he believed that he would be safe.
He was very wrong.
Addison loves making her cakes and sweet treats while doing a little modelling on the side. She is judged by her family for not being a braniac, and struggles to get past their jabs, but she never really lets them get to her. Not when she has a new distraction.

An enjoyable quick read where grumpy firefighter broken by our sassy girl's charm and sunshine. I would love an old cooky lady with her chickens, calling up for ridiculous things. It would keep it all very entertaining. Trevor's love and connection to his mother is very sweet, too bad it ain't the same for Addison. Thankfully she found her anchor at one of the snob parties and he sounds awesome.

An enjoyable quick read where grumpy firefighter broken by our sassy girl's charm and sunshine. I would love an old cooky lady with her chickens, calling up for ridiculous things. It would keep it all very entertaining. Trevor's love and connection to his mother is very sweet, too bad it ain't the same for Addison. Thankfully she found her anchor at one of the snob parties and he sounds awesome.

Having read Ms.Fox's work many times before i always look so forward to picking up more of her books! When i found out about this A Man of the Month Novella i got so excited for it! Every teaser had me wanting to pick it up even more. I got into this story quickly and didn't want to turn away from this story. I enjoyed Naughty & Nice so very much!
Addison and Trevor's journey had me glued to my kindle from beginning to end! She's works at Honey Bunz and he's the new firefighter in town. The attraction sets ablaze between them. Can they take a chance together? Or is it not worth the risk to their hearts?
It isn't quite easy for these two, but oh is it ever entertaining and worth it! The chemistry between Addison and Trevor was undeniable. I loved how these two had me feeling so much! I adored Addison and related to her. Trevor had me falling! I couldn't wait to see how these two would tackle things.
I want to stay in Sycamore Mountain! Seriously, from the setting to it's characters it brought such warmth to my soul!
With Naughty & Nice, Ms.Fox has created a great read that had me glued to my kindle! She brought the feels and heat! I can't wait for more from her! Definitely check out her books, if you haven't already. 💗🧁

"I’m fairly certain that this is my first book by this author, and I really enjoyed it.
Trevor and Addison are very much attracted to each other when they first met, and Addy is all for trying to pursue something more with him. But Trevor had been burnt badly previously and he has put certain rules into place for any dating or hookup possibilities, and unfortunately for Addy she doesn’t meet these rules and he continues to keep her at a distance.
This part of the story had me incredibly invested as to how it would play out. It’s a romance novel, so I was quietly confident they would find their way but getting to that actual point was amazing to read. There are a few bumps along the way, but nothing that came across that couldn’t be worked out, and when I reached the end of the story I was definitely one happy reader.
So it goes without question I would definitely read more from this author, and will keep my eyes open looking for the next book released." ~Sharon

This is the novella I needed! LM Fox’s books are all insta-reads for me. This small but mighty novella is no exception. Trevor is delicious. He is the new firefighter at the Sycamore Mountain Firehouse and fits in perfectly. His past relationship really messed him up and he puts up a wall for any future love interests.
I just love Addy. She goes after what she wants even when her loved ones put her down for it. We learn about her family history and how it all affected her.
These two are perfection. The back and forth banter and spice is amazing. They are just the most lovable couple you are cheering for the entire time. Each had their mountains they had to conquer but once they met on the other side the sparks flew.
So much was packed into this novella that I became attached to these characters in a short amount of time. I love how this story ended but of course would love even more of them!!

Taking place in Sycamore mountain, those novella follows the developing relationship between grumpy and hot firefighter Trevor and sweet and sassy baker/ model Addison.
When Trevor moves to Sycamore Mountain to escape his cheating ex, the last thing he expected was to fall for the sassy baker. Trevor tries to ignore the flame that has been ignored by Addison deep within him, but he can only tame the flame for so long.
Addison spends her days baking and decorating cupcakes along with modeling part time. She has no interest in most of the guys in Sycamore Mountain, too many of them are like family to her. But after Trevor rolls into town and starts at Station 12, she feels this spark when he's near, and she just loves teasing him.
This novella is part of the Man of the Month collection, through the Facebook group. Attached is the link to the group for anyone interested in joining and checking out other books.

I came into the Man of the Month series last Month with Katie Rae's Love Bites.
So I was eager to see what the rest of the series held. I love multi author series because it helps introduce authors you may not have read otherwise. That being said. LM Fox is a new to me author. But I'm after reading this i'm so excited I signed up for the ARC and def eager to read more of her work.
Okay. Let's talk Naughty & Nice. Another short, sweet and but oh so fun novella. Def recommend if your looking for a light read! I loved it! & would have loved more from these two!! 🤍

This was a sweet short read. I felt that at times there was a bit too much happening because there’s a lot of story into this novella as we go along the ups and downs of Trevor and Addie’s love story.
Both characters had been hurt by past relationships and there is a bit of a tug war of who gives in first.
There are great characters, I loved Addie's relationship withe people in town and I would have been happy reading about them for much longer.

Addison knows there is something special but Trevor fights the feelings. When they finally let go it is explosive. When old insecurities arise it could be the end.
Addison is such a sweet character. She has her limitations but she has learned, despite those around her, to over come them. She is a force. She knows what she wants. She has done what she has to in order to support herself. She is also more than willing to leave things that are not serving her. When her and Trevor hit obstacles she is ready to call him out. She is fierce and amazing.

This is a short, cute and spicy novella. Trevor and Addy are absolutely adorable together. I want more from them!

I recently completed a series of books by this author and enjoyed them so much. This is a standalone story but would kinda like to see what may happen in their future after this book ends. Trevor was hurt by his former girlfriend and was gun shy but is very attracted to Addy. Addy is a fun person but has not found the one until see sees Trevor and all bets are off until she snags him. Of course sparks fly when they get together and it's steamy. However, they don't share a lot about their lives before they met which leads to problems. Trevor sees something online that causes him to leave without talking to Addy. No spoilers but you will enjoy this sweet story as I sure did. I received this as an ARC and this is my honest review. This is an author you need to follow and her Deprivation series is awesome.

This is a quick and steamy novella that I really enjoyed! Trevor moves to a small town to start over after a bad breakup. He and Addy have an instant connection but he fights it because he swore off love. But she won’t give up. I liked both of the main characters, especially Addy, who is fun and friends with everyone. The one complaint I have is that the one conflict was both easily preventable with a little communication, but also was resolved a bit too quick. However, this is a novella and it’s short, so I get that things were a bit rushed. I definitely enjoyed the story and the characters though, and it’s well written so it’s a solid 4 star read. If you are looking for a quick and fun read, give this a read!

Boy meets girl
This was such a sweet and short story. Honestly if you love romcoms this is definitely for you! We have the person who gets hurt leaves the city for the small town and meets their person just for it to not be as simple as that lol. I am most definitely a romcom girl and probably spend 95% of my sundays binging as many as possible. I really did like this book and ummm hot firemen? Yes please! What girl can’t resist a guy in uniform? I love Trevor but come on ya big dummy not everyone is a cheating sleeve bag lol. Also how did he resist Addy that long I mean girl was just throwing it out there LOL. As much as I liked the story it felt like it was too simple for me and I wanted a bit more action. I still give it a solid four stars though and recommend it to all my romcom loving peeps.

This was a fun read. What was good about the story was that both Trevor and Addison were great protagonists. Trevor was a broody nice guy who had a bad past experience and this was preventing him from having a serious relationship. Addison was a fun determined woman who had some issues with her confidence because of her family. Overall, what was great was that Addison knew what she wanted and went for it. But she knew when to cut her losses and put herself first. While Trevor fought his attraction to Addison, he soon realises that she might be everything he had ever wanted. It wasn't all smooth sailing but then life never is but it turns out well in the end. This was a good story with fun moments and interactions.
