This book is quiet short that I think everyone is ought to finish it in one sitting.. which makes me feel like it might've needed more depth. The book was very predictable and not really exciting. However, what I liked about the book were the author's thoughts on our society, I think that I would like to read a book focusing on that without the whole love drama.
First of all I'm going to write in English, because I can express my thoughts better that way. Back to the book, it is a very short book that would probably take two hours or so to finish. There were some thoughts here and there about the society that we live in which I really liked. The problem is with the story, First of all it all happened too fast. He just met the lady and the next thing you know he is in love with her? He didn't know anything about her except that she looked like Penelope Cruz, which I think is part of the reason why he was "in love".. The whole thing just felt unrealistic to me and the ending in all honesty was stupid.
honestly.. its sucks, lame, predictable and no creativity at all. its seems now days if you put slogans like twitter, Facebook or coffees it will cut off the ridiculousness, harsh? ya i know ..coz books such Peekaso and starbucks and this one get all that fuzz without a real effort and creativity, its make me UUGHH frustrating. i really want to support our writers but sorry this book compare to the west books is nothing.
It took me an hour and a half to finish this book and I am MAD. It's one of the worst book I have read and excuse me to say, but this book is a pile of bullshit!
No development of whatsoever, very week characters and very immature as well! No world building, and considering that main character is approaching his 40s, he sounded really stupid and kept making one stupid mistake after another. I really didn't understand what the purpose of the story is and what should I get from it as a reader!
Also, not defining the places, the nationalities and the society, doesn't mean we can't understand what society are you criticizing!
I honestly don't understand how such novels get published and I honestly don't consider it a novel because it didn't have any depth in it.
This is an example of a very bad example modern Arabic literature and it shouldn't be even considered a literature because it have no weight or value.
i think it is less than normal book, the reader can finish so quickly without any stops. as a first tweeter book i can say it is a good start for the author.
