No one read to me the stories of the prophets in my childhood. That is one reason why the Quran has always been difficult for me to comprehend. I am thankful I read this book now. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to everyone, all ages. Do yourself and your child a favor and read them the stories of the prophets in an easy-to-understand, interesting, and compelling way. They will understand the Quran more when they grow to read it on their own.
Reading this as part of my Arabic studies. It's a good beginners book for learning fusha. It starts off with very basic sentences and gradually the sentences become more complex, though some chapters jumped from simple to complex sentences and words too quickly for me.
This is going to take me forever to finish but it's okay because I'm learning Arabic from it, not to mention all the stories of the prophets that I don't know much about before. I'd love to re-read it again once my Arabic is better and see how much I've improved. It'll probably be a lot more enjoyable to read then too.
I wasn鈥檛 exposed much on details on the stories of our prophets growing up. I knew briefly and always felt overwhelmed when i try to learn from Quran directly, at least for a beginner like me. This book helps a lot to understand on the teachings of Islam told by our prophets conveying Allah鈥檚 messages. There are some complicated words even for native English speakers like me (I read the English version and I noticed some reviews are reading in Arabic version), so having a handy dandy dictionary nearby helps, via app or good ol鈥 hardcopy dictionary.
YQ #12 Stories of the Prophets (Re: Judeo-Christian sources) : Best book for children. It's translated in easy arabic and also translated into english.
