my thoughts about this book are mixed, there were moments when I literally cringed while reading some lame sentences that are completely misleading and might lead anyone who is not familiar with the american culture into building up a false idea about their behaviors and way of life, because after all there is not a nation on earth that approves of labeling its females as immoral or unworthy of company, in parallel the authoress conveys through the protagonist the image of a honorable and yet overzealous guerrilla warrior, that choses to study in the US and at the same time does not bother to hide his disapproval with the way westerners like to live their lives. I do not deny it there are parts that were emotional and obliged me to feel some of the struggles the hero is trying to get through but other than that it was just another common mindset of people that cheer for the cowardice exit...
