Hugh Brogan

I'm pleased to report that his letters (edited by his biographer, Hugh Brogan) show Arthur Ransome to be as lovely and thoughtful a chap as I'd expected from his fiction, and as interesting as I'd expected from what I knew of his life. A very good read.
