Archeologist Lucy Davenport made a promise to retrieve an elusive piece of history buried in the walls of an iconic Indian village. But when she draws unwanted attention that interferes with her secret plans, she's forced to risk it all with a man who threatens not only her goal, but the walls she's carefully constructed around her heart.
Keats McCall is an environmental preservationist navigating the globe on behalf of heritage protection. When he catches Lucy at his latest project, he suspects she's up to something. She's secretive, sexy as hell—and has trouble written all over her. He devises a plan to keep her close so he can keep an eye on her. But what he isn’t prepared for is just how close he wants to get.

This the second book that I've read from this author. I loved Kissing the Maid of Honor, so I was excited to read this, and I wasn't disappointed. Robin Bielman definitely knows how to write romance and this book is no exception.
Lucy Davenport is an archeologist but she also does extra work recovering important artifacts and selling them to a bidder. Keats McCall (I love that name), is a conservationist. They met during one of Lucy's "adventures" and the attraction between them was instant. They met again three months later, only this time, the stakes were higher and Lucy is fighting tooth and nail to gain a very important artifact that's part of McCall's conservation project.
I love how this book alternates between Lucy and McCall's POV. I'm privy to their motivation and feelings at the moment. It's pretty obvious from the get go that these two have feelings for each other but it was confounded by their work, Lucy being who she is and McCall being conservationist. The sexual tension between them is through the roof hot, and one of the things that I like in this book. The plot was pretty straightforward and well delivered.
So why give only 3.5 stars? Well, for me, it was too short. I never felt like I connected to Lucy and McCall, not because they were unrelatable characters but because the book didn't really allow me to do that. Second, I didn't really care much about the insta love/lust thing between Lucy and McCall. Nothing against the book, but inta love/lust isn't really my cup of tea. Other than that, the story really worked for me.
But don't let my rating dissuade you from reading this book. If you're in a mood for some hot romance with a hint of intrigue, then this book is definitely for you.

I was a little disappointed in this book. I think the reason is because it was too short and the character development seemed a little rushed. Plus, the first half of the book was pretty slow moving. Lucy spent more time trying to stay away from McCall so they didn't have a lot of time together to really form a good relationship, IMO.
The second half of the book did pick up and I did enjoy it. The sex scenes were good, very sweet. I did feel like McCall really does care for Lucy but she kept running hot then cold, rather frustrating for me.
"You make it hard to breathe, Lucy."
McCall was definitely good at the kissing stuff.
"I want you with me, Lucy."
Overall, it wasn't a hit for me but could be for you so give it a try!!

Although this is the second book in the series it can be read as a stand alone and well, I might just have to read the first book because of its loveable characters.
This was a great read and it was a great short read indeed! I think it’s a novella for this whole series but all is great! I absolutely loved Kissing the Maid of Honor and I’m getting into her other book: Yours at Midnight. And absolutely can’t wait for Her Accidental Boyfriend~
So as you read the synopsis Lucy is a solo archaeologist digging up artifacts and is even called a thief for taking historical objects from its home sites. Well, they weren’t uncovered by the Historic Society and so she took it upon herself to find them, so why not take them? But anyways, that’s her job and she’s on her last mission to retrieve a statue she’s promised to find and then move on with her life and no one is going to stop her from finding it! Not even the handsomely rich and all-in-your-business Keats McCall. Well, there’s lots of tension and irritation in between but all is going in a great direction~
McCall is very much into Lucy from his first sight of her at an event out in the open waters. She very much stole his heart and an object she found on the Historic ship they were on! So when they met again he knew what she was up to and he’s got a plan to keep her close to find out what she’s going to steal now besides more of him. And he does it in style of course! Bribing her of a comfortable bed, because she’s a traveler and money is low, but also with some great food. But his intentions are even more risky, making her open up to him and trust him enough to let her treasure hunting days end, and maybe even stay beside him forever.
I really like how we got to see both POVs from these characters. It really made the story great and enjoyable knowing their feelings and intentions. But then it did make matters worse because they kept those thoughts to themselves!!! On the other hand we wouldn’t have all these great sexually driven tensions leading to great explosions~ LOL
But from these POVs, I found I really adore McCall. His thought process is what I really loved about him. He was willing to wait it out with Lucy to tell him her thoughts and reasons as to why she was where she was. Even if he already knew why she was there, he was patient enough to wait her out and trust her. But also at the same time showing her the land and the people that live in the area and convincing her to the importance of preserving historic sites and its treasures. He is just amazing.
But also, since this was a short story the pace for the characters development was good. It wasn’t rushed but wasn’t slow either. And of course the relationship development worked well because the tension has been there since their last encounter.
So, this really is a great read. :D
If you want to know, this has very hot tensions, a very cold and lonesome archaeologist, a very conversational preservationist being all-in-your business, a lot of disagreeing and pushes and pulling, a small fire that caused a tumble to the ground and some very close action *wink wink*, some sneaking around and digging for treasure, plus some secrets and pain exposed, and dangers abound. Oh, and some high treetop action!

Risky Surrender by Robin Bielman was a good read. It was different than the other books I have read lately because the hero and heroine’s jobs were not what I typically read about. Lucy is an archaeologist and Keats is an environmental preservationist. They first meet when Lucy steals an ancient emerald. Time passes and they meet again when Lucy shows up on a historic site that Keats company is preserving. He knows she is up to no good and is determined to find out what it is. He follows the “keep your enemies closer mentality and does what he can to distract her. He didn’t plan on falling for her, though.
Robin does a really nice job with Risky Surrender considering it is a short story (109 pages) which means there is a lot to pack in when you have a shorter time frame to develop the plot and characters. The plot was perfect for the length of the book and I was able to get to know and relate to the characters just fine. The build up of the relationship was believable and the intimate scenes were very well done and appropriate for the story and characters. I enjoyed the easy, flirtatious behavior between Keats and Lucy. In real life many times at the beginning of a relationship we don’t know how far to push things and sometimes pull back after we think we went too far too soon. This was true of Lucy, which I liked.
I enjoyed the appearance of Sam and Dean from Worth the Risk. If you are looking for an entertaining, quick, contemporary romance without the typical hero and heroine, I recommend you try Risky Surrender.
Lucy is an archeologist that plays with the boundaries of law. When she loses everything and she needs to keep her promise to get a sculpture from an Indian village illegally, she stumbles upon Keats McCall. McCall is a character we have already met in "Worth the risk". He is a an environmental preservationist whose job is to protect the village's history from people like Lucy. What happens when they meet? Sparkles fly and their story begin.
Lucy is very independent and needs nobody's help. She is smart, secretive but also vulnerable and lonely. When McCall gets to know her a little better, he understands that he needs to protect and keep Lucy close. He is playful, sexy and he shows Lucy that he cares about her. They experience new things which bring them closer and it is natural for them to fall in love. Obstacles and threats though get their relationship tested. Lucy has to decide if she is going to trust McCall and give their love a chance.
I really loved the story and their characters. We also have a guest appearance from Sam and Dean from book one "worth the risk" and we get to know how their relationship is going.
Robin's writing is getting better and better and I would recommend it to everyone that loves a romantic story with a little bit of adventure.
This is the fifth book I have read by Robin Bielman and the fifth I have given 5 stars. She never fails to bring a man to fall head-over-heels in love with and a lady you would want as your best friend. Keats McCall and Lucy Davenport are exactly this.
Whilst it can be read as a standalone, I had read Worth the Risk previously and McCall did feature. He hugely surprised me and despite his wealthy playboy reputation, he is a grounded, kind, patient man with a relentless determination. And he is sexy. Oh so sexy. Archaeologist Lucy is a feisty independent lady, who has loved and lost. Her pain is her driving force and whilst not exactly all above board her heart is in the right place. McCall's historic site has something she needs but therein lies the problem. McCall.
Their chemistry was fabulous and their growing feelings created friendship, romance, wit, intimacy and passion. The first book made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and this did exactly the same; I flicked the final page completely satisfied and with a huge happy sigh.
This lady has a gift of creating the perfect lose-yourself romance with that air of realism that I love and Risky Surrender is a treasure I highly recommend.

Welcome home your new book boyfriend. Keats McCall or McCall as he's known, will soon become another name added to your always growing book boyfriend list. Come on admit it, we all have one.
We had a glimpse of McCall in the first book in this series, Worth the Risk, but this is a whole novella in which to devour the hotness that is McCall. Add in a feisty heroine in Lucy who actually says no to him and you have the start of a fun story that had me hooked from the start.
Sparks fly off this pair from the moment they meet by accident and simmer relentlessly while they work on a Aztec village project. Him legitimately for his employer and her not so much, in order to fulfil a promise.
" She wanted - needed - a McCall induced orgasm", who wouldn't, seriously.
This is a great second story in the series. You get to see the main characters from the last story, and hopefully get to see the hero of the next book in Clay.
I will happily read more from this author and look forward to more hero's we can fall in love with.
This novella was provided by the publisher for an honest review.
McCall is the ideal hero - rich, handsome, and bored to death by all the socialite women trying to get his attention. Lucy is a thief - or is she? She intrigues him, and while they are at cross-purposes - she is trying to locate a secret historical artifact, while he wants to protect it, they can't deny the attraction between them.
Disclaimer: I'm acquainted with the author through a local writing organization.
I loved Lucy's independence and struggle to reconcile her quest with the death of her husband and her father. This didn't take the turns I was expecting, and I LIKED that, for a change, but, as a romance, yes, there's a happily ever after.

"Risky Surrender" by Robin Bielman was the second in this Risk It series. This read was a contemporary romantic novella was simply sweet delightful read. These two...McCall and Lucy were so funny(the flirtatious behavior between these two) to read about and that made it such a good enjoyable novella. I did find the first section of the novel a little slow but it did pick up and that part gave us some sweet 'sex scenes' that you will not be able to put down until the end. The story as well as its characters being so well developed and intriguing really made this a good love story.
We find at the very beginning 'sparks will fly off this pair from the moment they meet by accident and simmer relentlessly while they are working on a Aztec village project." Lucy is an archaeologist whose husband and father has died and she is left feeling like she must 'fulfill the debts that she feels that she owes to them.' Lucy will meet McCall who is a environmental preservationist and this is where they story really gets hot. I enjoyed how this author was able to imply the intimate scenes making them very tasteful. Will there be something that will grow with these two? What secrets will be revealed? As they get closer will there be 'obstacles and threats' put in their way?
Well, I will only leave you with two quotes...
quotes:
"You make it hard to breathe, Lucy."
and
"I want you with me, Lucy."
Now, just from those quotes you can see how hot this novella is and this is where I say you must pick up "Risky Surrender" to see how this author is able to bring it all out to the reader.
If you are looking for a well written novel that is of a sweet intriguing romantic story, I would recommend "Risky Surrender to you. Thank you Ms. Bielman for letting me read your novella and also giving to your readers a good read.
Robin Bielman follows up her sexy debut novella, Worth the Risk, with this scorching tale.
Archeologist Lucy Davenport made a promise to her dying father to find the 16th century gold Tlaloc statue. Lucy’s dad believed the legend that the Tlaloc goddess would give life and sustenance to them, finally changing their lives. Can Lucy find the statue, and could the legend be true? There’s only one person standing between her and the statue: Keats McCall.
Do-gooder playboy Keats McCall is tired of women falling for his bottomless bank account. It isn’t until a sexy-as-hell mystery woman bumps in to him that he is more than intrigued…and suspicious. McCall realizes there is something different about his mystery woman, but could that something be unethical and possibly illegal? What is the story behind this beautiful siren? There is only one way to find out what Lucy is up to: watch her—day and night. But can McCall resist the temptation Lucy is proving to be?
Bielman knows the art of slowly building the sexual tension between a couple—to the point of near combustion. What starts out as Lucy and McCall taking each other’s measure turns into something neither of them were looking for. The true test of their mettle comes when both must decide between their jobs and their rapidly growing feelings. Is felicity is worth the risk?
I would not consider myself the outdoors type. However, after reading Worth the Risk and Risky Surrender, I may have to reconsider; Bielman brings a whole new level of hotness to outdoor adventures. Yet, that is not all Risky Surrender brings to the table. Both Lucy and McCall have personal struggles to overcome before they can find a happiness they never knew existed.
Risky Surrender is a spicy, quick read full of dynamic characters with inner and external struggles.
Keats McCall, wealthy, very handsome and confirmed bachelor is the President of Field Operations for the World Heritage fund. He is constantly dodging women who want to turn him into a husband. Keats is attending a function on a museum ship and bumps (literally) into a waitress carrying appetizers. He apologizes and attempts to help, but is brushed off. He sees his mystery woman later in the evening, it seems she is not a waitress, but who exactly is she? The minute his back is turned......she's gone.
Lucy Davenport is an archaeologist. She is working to repay a debt owed by her husband and father who died two years ago. The debt is owed to a billionaire collector of ancient artifacts, who does not care how these artifacts are obtained. She has one more piece to find and she is debt free and able to begin her life. Unfortunately, this treasure is located on the newest site the World Heritage Fund is exploring. Keats McCall is the man in charge.
This book was a delight to read! The banter between McCall and Lucy is hysterical, and the constant attempts of both trying to outwit the other is very enjoyable. Lucy is a strong independent woman, with trouble written all over her. She has been taking care of herself for a while now. McCall has never met anyone like her, and decides he needs a little trouble in his life. Neither wants to fall in love, they fight it all the way.
If you liked Indiana Jones, Lucy is the girl for you! The added bonus of Keats McCall adds some great sizzle. If your looking for adventure, some laugh out loud moments, and some heat........Risky Surrender is the book for you.
I received this book from the publisher for an honest review.
Let's get one thing straight, when I started Risky Surrender I didn't really know what the story was about. I kind of glanced at the book blurb, but I didn't really paid attention to the blurb. However, I saw that it was written by Robin Bielman, and I have loved the stories I have read. I figure I couldn't go wrong. Which I was correct.
In Risky Surrender, Robin brings us a story about a young archeologist by the name of Lucy Davenport. Lucy is after one particular artifact that will help her lay to rest the guilt she feels for losing her father and husband. Darn those past demons, they will always get you. While trying to find this particular artifact she runs into Keats McCall. The funny thing is the artifact she needs is an area where he's trying to preserve. Oh great, sounds like things will be getting a bit complicated.
I actually thought Risky Surrender was a delightful read. Basically, you have a nice story line that isn't too complicated and works well to give you a satisfying ending. Sometimes novellas can be little rush to get to the happy ending, but Robin manages not rush the story. Honestly, it has a nice pace. Lucy and Keats are great together. One thing Lucy isn't fawning over Keats, because he's rich and handsome. Instead she's trying to go under his radar. Yet, Keats isn't going to have that. Actually he wants to help Lucy, but she just needs to be forth coming in whats going on in her life. They do have a great dynamic together.
Overall, an enjoyable novella. So, if you are looking for a quick read that isn't too rushed, you might want read Risky Surrender.
Lucy Davenport isn’t a thief; she’s a “treasure hunter. Okay, maybe there’s a fine line in there somewhere, but still, is it stealing when no one knows it’s there? Well, in a protected historical site, yes, it’s quite illegal, and Keats McCall, president of field operations for the World Heritage Fund, is going to make sure a certain archeologist doesn’t go digging around in his latest historical site project. Yup. He’s going to make sure the sassy and sexy treasure hunter doesn’t go digging where she doesn’t belong, and she’s going to make sure she does just that. If only they weren’t so attracted to each other
I really enjoyed this book. The banter and chemistry between Lucy and Keats were great, and I could really see these two falling in love despite an ancient village coming between them. I especially liked how Keats tries so hard to work with Lucy to make her see reason, because he’s finally found someone who sees him for him. As for Lucy, I love that she’s so feisty and independent, and I feel for her situation that puts her in the grasp of the villain in the book.
Sexual tension is high and there are love scenes, so I’m rating this as medium-high heat level. There’s some curse words that didn’t seem necessary, but they were limited to Keats’s POV. I’d say this is 17+ because of both reasons. This is a pretty quick read, and the focus is really the growing relationship between Lucy and Keats although there are secondary characters to help move the plot along. Overall, this is a great romance read and a 5 out of 5 for me!

Lucy Davenport is an archaeologist who hunts for historical treasures. After spending her last few years repaying a debt, she is finally free, just after one more hunt. The only thing standing in her way is Keats McCall, President of the World Heritage Fund and sex incarnate. They both fight (and do not so good a job) the growing attraction between them. With her determination on finishing what she has set out to do, and him on protecting his latest project site, sparks are sure to fly.
This book instantly brought back childhood dreams of being an archaeologist (I may have watched Indiana Jones one too many times.) The chemistry between the main characters is so well done, nothing feels forced. Both characters are well flushed out. Lucy is independent and dedicated, while at the same time unsure of her future and trying to move on from her past. McCall is used to being seen as a dollar sign to the opposite sex, until Lucy, and that excites and unnerves him.
The flirty banter and sexual tension between Lucy and McCall seemed to wrap me up as a reader. The love scenes are scorching hot and the story its self was very interesting. This is a book that I found nearly impossible to put down, and I believe you will to.
A Robin Bielman book never disappoints, which always makes picking up one of hers an absolute treat. Risky Surrender was a read that got stronger as it went on - the first chapter or so didn't completely captivate me, but soon that was overturned, and I couldn't flip the pages fast enough.
I love the environmental friendly path this series has taken, and was happy to see it back again in this book. Not only does it make the plot that much more fantastic and original, but it also just warms my heart since I think there can never be enough awareness about different elements / the betterment of the environment, and Mccall's job deals right with it.
Both Lucy and McCall were both super intriguing characters. I do wish a little more about Lucy's backstory was explained, since especially towards the end, things seemed a bit rushed at times. There were so many fantastic things going on with this one - I mean, hello, there was hot making out IN A TREE! How much cooler can you get? ;)
Risky Surrender is another fabulous read from Robin Bielman that has an intriguing plot and an enticing duo to lead the action forward.
All Lucy Davenport, archeologist, wants to do is fulfill the promise she made to her father and husband before they died in a Guatemalan cave two years ago. Keats McCall, preservationist, thought he'd found a thief, but what he'd found was an archeologist with questionable motives. Lucy's task is in direct conflict with the job Keats is assigned to do. Does he allow her to fulfill her promise illegally and possibly go to jail or does he find a way to help the woman he's fallen desperately in love with?
I love the way the author connects the two main characters and pulls the reader into the romance. Even though I usually enjoy books that are a little longer in length, I did enjoy this one. I think there could have been more storyline during the romance because it did feel a tiny bit rushed, but it was still a fulfilling HEA with a good beginning and ending. I look forward to reading any books written by Robin Bielman in the future.
It had an intriguing plot. Nice story and the chemistry wasn’t bad either. When you met Keats, a man with his suspicions and a past,(even if it’s a rich one), you kind of knew he was going to feel something for Lucy, even though he was a little bit suspicious of her when he first met her on the boat. And he didn’t even know her name at the time. And then eventually, when he does get to know her, she finally tells him the truth about what she wants and why she’s after it. Seemed liked she was kind of made a promise to find this statue on a preserved Indian village. She first made the promise to her father and her husband before they died and then Malcolm blackmailed her into doing one last find for his team and this was it. She didn’t count on the steamy and pleasurable encounter with Keats. She was used to doing her things her way and in all types of dangerous situations. In his own way, so was Keats. Keats and Lucy, were definitely an interesting and likeable couple. So if you like a little archeology with a hint of adventure, check it out. You’ll probably enjoy it a lot.
Robin Bielman sent me an ARC of this book and I’m so happy she did. I loved it from the first page to the last one.
Characters: It was so easy to like both of them. Lucy is such a courageous woman, doing all of this on her own, like nothing scares her. But further in the story you understand that she has fears and she's also vulnerable sometimes. I loved her. And McCall..... McCall, McCall, McCall. Can I have my own McCall? God i wish I was Lucy, lucky girl. He is so sweet and also protective of Lucy. It's almost impossible not to like him.
Plot: Really liked it! The place where the story took place was different from what I usually read. However, it was refreshing and interesting. And the story in general: so cute. I was eager to see McCall and Lucy get together for real. It was so well written.
I recommend this book to everybody who is craving for a good little romance.
Straight up I loved this book. I'm a big fan of Robin Bielman and loved Worth the Risk. I was equally anticipating Risky Surrender and Ms Bielman again delivers.
The tension sizzles between Keats McCall and Lucy Davenport. The setting is gorgeous! The dialogue is snappy, the characters are people I really enjoyed meeting. McCall is one hot tamale. I particularly loved the tree-top scene which is now on my bucket list to do. I really liked Lucy. She was vulnerable but tough. Watching McCall peel away her layers was a joy to read. The chemistry between the characters flamed up the pages. I so enjoyed meeting up with Dean and Sam from Worth the Risk.
If you want a fast, fun, flirty read then this book is for you.
I received an ARC from author for an honest opinion.
LUCY DAVENPORT FEMALE INDIANA JONES WITHOUT THE WHIP OR HAT BUT STILL PRETTY AMAZING BOOK
Robin Bielman knows how to write a romance novel which is light hearted as well as deep. I love the by play between the H/h. Keats and Lucy had great chemistry. It's a fun read to enjoy on a lazy day Saturday. I hope there is a story for CLAY in the future because I love me some Navy Seal.
It broke my heart that Lucy had to go through all the tragedy in her life but I am happy she found KEATS McCall(love the name). so if you are looking something light hearted and a great romance novel with no cliff hangers and TSTL hero or heroin movements. DO NOT MISS RISKY SURRENDER
I’m not going to summarize the story for you. The blurb can do that far better than I ever could. What I can tell you better than any blurb is how much you’re going to LOVE this author! Robin Bielman delivers every single time. She writes these fully-drawn, multi-dimensional heroines a reader can really relate to, (and aspire to). Lucy is no exception. And her heroes...holy smokes! Her guys are amazing, sharp, witty, swoooon-inducing! Keats is the best one yet, and I can’t wait for more).
The plot engages from the jump. She packs so much action and emotion into her stories, there’s literally no good stopping point. Thankfully, because it’s a novella, you can read it in one sitting…and prepare…’cause you will!
This is a great novella! If you like a little adventure and historical content in your books then read this Indiana Jones type love story. Risky Surrender is the story Keats, a preservationist & Lucy, a archaeologist caught up with a no good, evil collector of precious artifacts through no fault of her own. There's that instantaneous chemistry from the first time they meet and as much as Lucy would like the opposite fate pushes them back together. Thus begins their adventure and although they are both protecting themselves they can't seem to stop what's naturally happening. Their chemistry ignites and decision must be made...what will they do, read it and find out! This is a great Saturday afternoon book!
Romance and a little intrigue are the main themes in this book. Lucy is an archeologist that has been forced into the position of compromising her ethics and beliefs in order to fulfill the debts that she feels that she owes to her father and husband who have died. Keats begins to fall in love with her at first sight but knows that she has secrets that may destroy everything. As their emotional bond grows, Lucy struggles with deciding whats right and whats necessary. I enjoyed this book but I wish that it were longer and more detailed.
** An ARC copy of this book was given to me in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
Risky Surrender was a great novella. I absolutely loved the chemistry between Lucy and Keats. If you're a fan of smart, capable women, this is definitely worth the read! It was great to see Lucy overcome her past and work through her issues so that she could find a way to pursue a relationship with McCall. After reading and enjoying this novella, I'll be going back to read Worth the Risk (Take a Risk #1).
I had not read Worth the Risk - the first book in this series, but was still able to enjoy this romantic story on its own. I so enjoy reading a story with strong and interesting characters. Robin Bielman delivers in this one. The archeological background makes this story "not your average" romance. It did seem a bit rushed, but the tree climbing adventure and the chemistry between Lucy and McCall made up for that. Certainly a good read! Thanks, Robin Bielman, for another great book!
What a fun, adventure-filled, romantic read! Exactly what I was looking for. Lucy Davenport and Keats McCall are both likable characters, and I enjoyed spending time in both of their heads. Their reasons for their actions seemed very real, and their chemistry was tangible. I also loved that RISKY SURRENDER took place in an ancient village in Arizona. The unique setting added to the feel of mystery and adventure that the story evoked. I'll definitely be reading more of Robin Bielman's books.
I am a fan of Robin's work and this book was no disappointment. I enjoyed the interaction between Lucy and Keats. There was definite chemistry there. There's one scene on the treetops that has me thinking nature might be sexy, too lol I admit that the story was a little slower to start than I'm used to but the wait was definitely worth it. The plot held substance, making it about more than just romance. If you're looking for a sweet simmer, this is the book for you!
Risky Surrender is a short, enjoyable read. I loved the loved the scene where they first met. The characters were fun and the storyline was engaging. I didn't realize Risky Surrender was part of a series, so needless to say it could also be a stand alone. Looking forward to the next novella in this series.
Author Robin Bielman is such a talented writer. She paints artful pictures with her words and her stories are always easy to savor. I particularly liked the conflict between the characters and the warm resolution at the end. Like her other works, Risky Surrender is definitely a great romantic read!!!
She's trying to steal a historic artifact. He's trying to preserve a historical site. Opposite sides most definitely but their attraction pulls them together. This is a great quick read that is totally entertaining. I highly recommend it.
