SUMMARY (50 words or less)

This was an awesome series sequel. It had everything you want. I can’t spoil and tell you everything, but I wasn’t disappointed at all. The book started slightly slow but it picked up and zoomed on along the way. I can’t wait for the next one.

This was a good addition to the story, and I mostly enjoyed it.
I liked Heven in this, and she managed to stay strong even when things kept going to hell. Literally.

The storyline was good, and there were lots of things that I didn’t see coming. The romance between Heven and Sam was sweet, and things seemed to work out well apart from an unexpected death or two. There was just a little something missing for me though, can’t quite put my finger on what it was though.

Tirade was awesome-Just as I expected.

I am happy to say that, I have finished Tirade and am absolutely thrilled. I can't say how much I loved this book. LOVED IT!!! man, there is soo much more i want add here :D

This will be a short review, as I am scared half to death I'm going to give something away, and I hate spoilers!

So, here it is! Tirade seemed to pick up right where Charade left off~ and the reader was found right where cambria left us- hangin' on the cliff! I dove right in, as the first person we get to see is Sam-and that's all im saying about that.

I love the fact that we get to see Heven be more...Pro-active! She gets to finally take more control in the things/situations in her life! Good or Bad, she's ready for it.

Cole and Gemma, yes more of them- I love them! And yes, there is way more i say here too!

Riley! Oh Riley, how you make it hard to choose between you, Cole and Sam-Okay, well you and Sam!

I gave this book 5 stars simply becasue she kept me wanting more! So much so, that it took my eyes crossing from being so tired to actually put it down-Well, when I got to read it that is! My daughter is also a huge fan of this series,a nd we have but one little ole Kindle :D

Would I recommend this book? Most assuredly I would! In fact, and I have said this before, If you haven't gotten this yet, I have no earthly Idea what you're waiting on! I won't guarantee you'll love it-only because there would be one who wouldn't but-I think that 9 out of 10 of you will see it my way---The Heven and Hell Series is a Must Read and a Must Own!

Cambria, thank you so much for the chance to go along with Heven and Sam once again on their adventure. We (my daughter and I) absolutely loved it! Kudos!

There's going to be another, yes?

WOW! I have always adored this series and It just keeps getting better and better! After the massive ending at the end of Charade I couldn't wait to get my hand on Tirade! The plot was just absolutely amazing and also paced fast enough to still leave me begging for more! I loved every single bit of it and I also love how original Cambria's plots have been especially in Tirade! The plot continues on from where Charade ended and it just is on a level of its own! The characters in this book have grown so much as well! Heven was just kick-ass! She never gave up and I loved her for that! Sam was again HOT! He was also protective of Heven and I felt so sorry for him for what he went through during this book! I loved that Tirade was in Heven and Sam's point of views! The rest of the characters were just amazing as well and I finally learned who Riley is! Trust me you do not want to miss his secret! I am SO excited for the next book in this series! The cover also suits the book and also the series perfectly! Big thank you to Cambria for giving me an ARC of Tirade!

I'm not sure if this is the moment to drop my jaws in horror for all that went wrong out there Or shout out with glee - I FUCKING KNEW IT!!!

Damn, but it feels good to be right, for once.

Tirade was a tiring book - too many emotions, too much of drama and I am not sure I am finished processing all of that yet.

And that motherfucker of an ending? Well that is a wholly different dimension that my brain is even not comprehending right now.

This book was good - but more of the same. In the sense that in the crappy first half of the book Hebert scared the bejesus out of me showing the possibilities of a love triangle and then in the latter half blindsided me with shockers over shockers. And damn, but were they shocking.

Trying to keep up with Hebert here is exercise in futility. But not trying to brag or anything but I totally guessed that ending.

Amazing series, really. One only needs the patience to go past the first few chapters. And I cannot determine if this is a deliberate move on the author's part or not.

(Reviewer's Note: I won this book as part of the recent "Charade Read-Along". This lucky event has in no way influenced my opinion of the novel; I have always been committed to giving honest reviews.)

This series is characterized by pulse-pounding excitement, starting with the first book, Masquerade. Practically every page of the latest novel, Tirade, has a surprise for the reader. Although I dealt with many interruptions while reading this third installment in the Heven and Hell series, I kept coming back to the book every chance I got. I was amply rewarded with great characterizations, sharp dialogues, and plot twists that had me frantically turning the pages.

The story opens with one of the protagonists, Sam, trapped in hell. His girlfriend, Heven, desperate to get him out, has no immediate means of doing so. Beelzebub, the Prince of Demons, is the one responsible for Sam's imprisonment, holding him in an actual dungeon, located in the depths of a gloomy castle.

Heven finally decides to seek the help of one of Sam's old roommates, another hellhound by the name of Riley. Only a hellhound can enter the infernal kingdom; mere humans are unable to do so. But can Riley be trusted? After all, he and Sam are little better than enemies. Heven knows that. But she can't stand the thought of knowing that Sam is at the mercy of the Prince of Demons, who could torture him at any time.

Of course, Heven can also count on her brother Cole's help, as well as that of Gemma, the fallen angel introduced in Charade, the second book in the series. Together, they attempt to not only rescue Sam, but also find out whether Beelzebub has managed to get his evil hands on the scroll Heven has been guarding.

Hebert has woven a very imaginative tale here, in spite of some events that I would say stretch the limits of the literary suspension of disbelief. I think she still manages to do this so well because she makes us care about her characters. All of them are very real to the reader. They each have their secrets and inner flaws, making them so much more human. Even those that are not human in the full sense of the word -- such as Sam, Riley, and Gemma -- still come across as such.

Equally believable and realistic is the setting for most of the book -- hell. I must admit to feeling quite a bit of discomfort while traveling there with these characters; Hebert's vision of hell is dismal and dreary. Contrary to popular ideas of this place, there aren't flames everywhere. Instead, it's mostly a very gray, solitary, barren landscape, broken only by rivers full of dark sludge which is supposed to be water. Fearful demons occasionally and unpredictably appear, attacking our heroes. An overwhelmingly oppressive atmosphere pervades all of the parts in the book dealing with this horrible place. This is, in fact, the main thing that made this novel less of a pleasure for me to read. This book is much darker than the previous two. The reader is constantly being taken to hell, whether through Heven's dreams, or a portal, with the help of a hellhound.

I also felt uncomfortable with the interaction between the characters and the principal demon in the novel -- Beelzebub. I would think that humans, fallen angels, and hellhounds would never be a match for a demon as powerful as Beelzebub.

I had very mixed feelings about Riley, as well. It seemed that he was always trying to hold on to his "bad boy" image, making sarcastic remarks whenever anyone tried to thank him for doing something good. Then I found out that he there was a curse on him, which he constantly had to struggle against. He did help Heven and Sam tremendously; without him, Sam's situation would have been completely hopeless. He wasn't easy to like, though. He would be charming one moment, and cold the next. He remained pretty mysterious until the very end, when a surprise twist revealed something very unexpected about him.

On a more positive note, I was very happy to see Gran again! She has always seemed more of a mother to Heven than her own mother. Her unconditional love for Heven is not only very touching, but also gives Heven the emotional support and confidence in herself her mother is either unable or unwilling to give her. Gran has not only given such love to Heven, but to Sam's little brother, Logan, as well. She has accepted both brothers totally, and even wants Logan to live with her on a permanent basis. Needless to say, this definitely endeared her to me even more!

Now that I've mentioned Logan, I'd like to point out that I really enjoyed getting to know him better. He really is a sweet young boy. It was unfortunate that he had to go through the harrowing events depicted in the second novel. Here we get to see his true self. Heven has come to trust him, and considers him part of the family. I totally loved that!

Madeline, Heven's mother, has remained a puzzling mystery throughout the series. I really can't understand her rejection of her own daughter, no matter how much I've tried to. I totally dislike her, and can only say that her behavior is totally despicable. This leads me to wonder if Hebert will finally explain her strange attitude and actions toward Heven in the last book of the series, Renegade, which the author is currently working on.

What I like most about Tirade is that Heven has become an even stronger, more dynamic character. She will stop at nothing to free Sam. She also has to deal with two major emotional blows in this book. Somehow, she becomes an even stronger person. Her relationship with Sam deepens, and they share some wonderful, tender scenes that totally melted me! They also make a very powerful team, as they work together to defeat the forces of evil.

This novel also brings the reader more information about Gemma's background, and further develops her relationship with Cole. It was wonderful to read about their romance! The parts of the novel dealing with them were a welcome respite from all the doom and gloom.

In spite of the above-mentioned points, I do think that Hebert has created a very compelling page-turner. Her writing flows beautifully, and she moves from one event to another without losing a beat, throwing her characters into situations they must deal with using all the skills they possess.

In the final analysis, I think that any paranormal romance/urban fantasy fan who starts this series will inevitably get hooked on it. It's full of all the elements that make these genres so appealing -- supernatural creatures, plenty of action, and forbidden romance. Hebert brings us another skillfully penned tale in which she makes all these elements come together to create an unforgettable reading experience!

My Review:
The Heven & Hell books keep getting better and better!!! Heven really grows into her own and continues to discover new things about herself. Heven's character growth is one of my favorite things about this whole series and it's great to see her in full-out heroine mode in Tirade.

She takes crazy risks to do so, but Heven is determined to rescue Sam. She seeks out Riley, who everyone (Sam included) thinks is pure evil. Heven sees the good in him (so very true to her nature). Can she trust him? Hmmmm.... I wouldn't want to give anything away. I always love when a character's motives are questionable; the mystery and suspense of it is thrilling. I really enjoy Riley's character. He's a fun character with great snark; you also see the battle of good verses evil within him. I'm really intrigue where things will go from here with him, especially with that epilogue!

Tirade is suspenseful, action-packed, full of plot twists and turns (love the twist on who Beelzebub is really seeking!!!) and stamped with that trademark soul-deep love between Heven and Sam. I really loved this book and am now just desperately waiting to see what happens next!!!

Cover Art:
This is the author's husband!!! How cool is that?!? I love all her covers, though I do miss the gold sparkle of the first few. Check out the graphic artist, Mae I Design, who does all the Heven & Hell covers.

Quotes that made me giggle from Heven:
I looked at the fork still clutched in my hand. It made a pretty good weapon. I stuck it in my pocket - a girl in my situation never knew when she might need a fork.

We all feel into silence. Gemma was probably wondering if Cole was still in love with Kimber. Cole was probably wondering what he said to make me yell, and I was lying there desperately trying not to vomit. What a group we made.

Even after the dragon ate his snack, he stood there as if waiting for something. I thought after his chocolate fix (a dragon with a chocolate addiction is so unreal it can only happen in my life), he would fly away.

I did like Tirade better than Charade, but it still left me underwhelmed. It’s been five days since Sam was left in Hell. To say it’s been an unpleasant experience would be an understatement. But Heven is doing everything she can to prepare to go back for him. She’s been training to fight demons, and has managed to kill a few who have come after her to get the scroll. Then when Beezlebub returns to her dreams, she knows time is running out. Heven needs to get Sam out of there whether she’s ready or not.

Tirade is one of those sequels where it’s like an endless list of tasks and challenges for the characters to complete. Once they solve one problem, another one immediately arises, they solve that one, then there’s something else, and so it goes. I don’t really like this plot format at all. It’s like the challenges are completely unrelated because there’s no overlap. The characters deal with one thing at a time, so it feels long and drawn out. It also just doesn’t feel natural. Some of these events could pop up before the previous one is figured out. It’d be more of a challenge and be more exciting.

There are several twists and reveals in Tirade. There are a few character deaths as well, which didn’t affect me at all, sadly. I’m definitely ready for the final book, so I can put this series behind me. The first book had a lot of potential, but the sequels have felt like a lot of forced material for the sake of making it a series.

I was given a copy of this book for review.

Tirade is the third book in the Heven and Hell series and it is even more amazing than the other two books. Cambria Hebert has a special way of making you feel connected with her characters and the world they live in.

In this book we get to travel to Hell and back again, in order for Heven to save Sam. I loved the way Heven got to grew on her own, while Sam was kept captive. Without letting her scars decide who she is supposed to be any more she was one of my favorite characters. Strong, brave and caring.

I also loved all the more scenes of Cole and Gemma. They are one of my favorite couples of the book and we even got to see some of their privete moments through Heven's new power. Another character we were introduced to from the very beginning of this book was Riley. He is the perfect bad boy. He is all tough on the outside but has a really big heart. I truly loved him. Even more than Sam...

Finally, this book was the most action-paced of the series. From the very beginning till the end I was kept on the edge of my seat. There were so many things going on that there was not a single dull moment. I can't wait for the next book.

Four and a half stars: This series continues to excel and this book is action packed from the get go!

The clock is ticking and Heven is anxious to return to the depths of Hell and rescue Sam. Nothing is going to keep her from the boy she loves, if that means she must move Heaven and Hell and kill a few demons to do it, then so be it. She is training harder than ever preparing for the fight of her life. The days drag on, and Heven, Gemma and Cole still have not found a way to get in and out of Hell without the assistance of a hellhound. Despite Sam's objections, Heven turns to an unlikely source: Riley, Sam's old roommate and fellow hellhound. The stakes are higher than ever and Heven is learning that her circle of friends is closing. Trust no one...get in, get Sam, get out..... That is the only thing keeping her going. Can Heven retrieve Sam from Hell?

What I Liked:
*I have been a fan of this series from the get go, and I can honestly say that Ms. Hebert's books never disappoint. Tirade is the third installment in this series and it is the darkest and most action packed book, yet. From the first pages, the pace is brisk and danger is everywhere. There are hardly any moments of reprieve in this one. It is jammed packed with deadly demons, and a dangerous mission. If you like books that are full of danger and keep you on the edge of your seat throughout, this is a book you should read.
*Heven and Sam as a couple and on their own have shown tremendous growth throughout the series. Heven especially has gone from a weak girl hiding her face from the world to a girl who is determined, strong and a deadly force to be reckoned with as she fights to save the ones she loves. Sam, too, changes as he accepts his condition and grows. He feels regret over his past actions and does his best to make amends. As a couple, their love runs deep and true and they truly would move heaven and earth to be together. I am a big fan of books that chronicle character transformation and growth, and this series is a great example of character metamorphosis, and it features a strong and steady romance.
*The secondary characters in this one are terrific. Cole and Gemma return and this time around Gemma takes us into her confidence and we learn the sad truths about her past and why she fell. She is tough and tender at the same time and I really grew to appreciate her. In Tirade, we are introduced to Riley, and his character is difficult to say the least. He, like Sam, is battling his own past and inner demons and his true intentions waver throughout. Is he indeed a killer who can't be trusted or is there something more to him? I liked that Heven can see beyond his tough, nonchalant exterior to the light of goodness wavering weakly inside. He is ornery and a bad boy, but I sure did like him. He also adds a bit of comic relief as well. I think he just might be one of my new favorite characters.
*This book doesn't have quite as many mind blowing twists as in the past, but there are still some big developments as we learn a bit more about Heven and her powers and we get a glimpse into Riley's and Gemma's pasts. Secrets come forth and many things are divulged and I was glad to finally get some answers, and yet, there are new mysteries exposed that will keep me reading. I like books that provide answers as they go and insert new problems and mysteries to unravel.
*This one wraps up nicely after a roller coaster ride and we are left with a satisfactory ending, no cliffhanger. Yet, there are plenty of dangling threads waiting to knit to completion in the fourth and final book.
*If you are looking for a solid indie series, definitely check these books out. They are well written, complex and all in all a great and entertaining read.

And The Not So Much:
*I am a big fan of Kimber. I know most people don't like her, but the girl has spunk and I am rooting for her. I was disappointed that her part in this book was very brief and I didn't get the resolution I was hoping for with her. I have my fingers crossed that she will find her way and make amends for her past transgressions in the next book.
*Sam is bothered by his past mistakes, for instance he covered up a murder in the first book, Masquerade. He is determined to set things right for the girl's family, and though he does the right thing, I was disappointed there wasn't a tiny bit more closure for this story line. It seemed like an important angle and it just falls a bit flat.
*As much as I admired Heven's growth, I struggled with a few of her naive choices. She should know not to trust anyone and being the good person she is, always trying to see light in others, she is caught a few times in this one making stupid decisions and trusting people when she shouldn't. I also was surprised that she and Sam so willingly divulged the information about a secret location and powerful being when they were told not to. I was taken back when they so quickly spilled the secret to their friends.
*I adore Gran, but this time she seemed like she was a nuisance. All the characters are constantly hiding things from her and even lying to her and I had a hard time believing that Gran was oblivious to the strange things going on around her. For instance, Heven disappears into Hell and Gran doesn't even seem to be aware that she is gone. Something just didn't sit right with me about that, and at the end I was relieved to see that this will not continue.

Tirade is another excellent addition to The Heven and Hell Series. It is a fast paced read loaded with danger and action. The characters are terrific and you can expect lots of secrets and reveals. I adored the new addition,Riley, to the cast. He is one of the most complex characters to date and I have no doubt that he will play a pivotal role in the finale. If you are looking for an entertaining and engaging series that does not have a love triangle, check out Ms. Hebert's books. I can't wait for the final book to see how everything ends up!

Favorite Quotations:
"My eyes opened and stared at the black ceiling. So much darkness, so much shade. I could feel the tendrils of evil reach out to me. It was hard to concentrate, hard to feel when I was remembering the sinful things I had done."
"I wasn't supposed to say I hated anything. I never really understood why until recent months. It isn't really the word that is bad. It's the feelings that go along with it---the actions it inspires. I have acted upon hate. Actions I regret, actions that I'll never be able to take back."
"He needed me to be there. To show him that everyone makes mistakes, everyone has hardship, but it's how you deal with it that makes you who you are."
"Sometimes the path you’re on makes sudden turns. Should you turn with them or keep going straight because that’s how you originally started? “Sometimes on the path to good, you have to be bad? I mused."

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own and I was not compensated for this review.

Let me first say how crazy good this book was! I read it as a beta reader, but I promise you I will be purchasing that one in print as well, as I NEED to have it. This series has become such a valuable part of my life. I love the characters, I LOVE the plot, I really love the author, and what can I say, I'm a sucker for bad boys, so I have a new book boyfriend in Riley! I bet anyone who loves an adventure ride, would pick up this series and LOVE it. As the third full novel of the series, things are getting really serious! I mean, how could it not, with everything that has happened. Sam is stuck in hell, Heven will do ANYTHING to get him back, and the Devil's right hand man wants her and he'll do ANYTHING to get his hands on her, including use Sam to get her.

So, let's talk Heven for a sec. She's really serious, and grown up in this one. After her being forced to leave Sam, she is training harder than ever, doesn't eat, sleep, talk, or even laugh. She visits her mom in the hospital, and she works toward getting Sam back. Normally Heven was such a happy person, even when things were getting rough. It was hard to see her go through that. But of course it makes her a stronger person and and even more relatable character to love. And Sam, I am utterly heartbroken for him. You get to experience his pain both through his eyes and Heven's, as they still have a remarkably strong connection. They are truly the couple destined to be together forever. And I LOVE THAT PART!! Nothing will separate them or tear their love apart. YAY!! Score for the good guys.

Oh Riley... What can I say. Riley is the hot bad boy every girl wants to fix, is amazed by his beautify, is scared of his temper, and yet still wants to love him. Even when he doesn't love himself. I think Cambria has done more than perfect with this character. She made him bad enough that you don't quite trust him. She made him strong enough that you feel you need him on your side. She made him broken enough that you love him. And then she made him soft enough that you can't let him go. No matter what he'll tell you, he has a big heart and he even knows how to use it! How do you NOT love that! I'll take him!!

The new and old characters are still so much a part of this book. I know everyone loves Sam and Heven, and they are getting to know Riley, but Cole and Gran, and Kimber and Logan, and Gemma and... the new character. Let me just say I have high hopes for her. :) Some of these people are are the "side kicks" play such a vital role. I love them as much as the main characters. But I guess you should say it's all in the writing. If the writing isn't up to par, you would like them... Well, the writing if effortless, real, genuine, and down right beautiful. Anyone who picks up these books doesn't put them down and when they do, they are sad it was over so soon, and then begging to know when they can have more!

There isn't much more to say other than I don't think there are too many other books that you could even compare to this series. It's wonderful! Stunning. Amazing. Magnificent. ummm, phenomenal!!! Hey Cam, have I given you some good adjectives :) LOL Really, I am a true believer in this series... I should hope so, as I've helped name the street team for it hahahahahahaha :) To my fellow Hellions... Don't you agree this one was the best one yet? Hell has never looked so damn good! :) A no-brainer, EPIC 5 PAWS!!! You better tell me when you can gimme more, Cam!

I really wanted to make this last but I couldn't help it, it was so good that I completely devoured it. Now I am going to be sad until the next one is out!

Full review to come soon!

Review:
I adore Cambria, she is so amazing, as a person and as a writer and although I do adore her, my review of this series isn’t biased at all, because that just wouldn’t be cool.
So I feel no guilt whatsoever in saying that I LOVE this series. I really, really do. It is just kick butt and made of awesomesauce.

And speaking of kick butt, let’s talk about Heven. I loved watching her get all fierce and protective in this installment. To really take charge and do what needed to be done. She is becoming so much stronger as this series progresses and I love seeing her character grow in each new book in every way a person can grow.

A lot of things happen to her and her family and friends and she keeps soldering on. New abilities, new secrets, disappointments, frustration and loss and yet, she is stronger than ever.

Sam. What can I say about Sam other than just when I think I can't love him anymore than I already do, he comes back and blows me away with his love for Heven. He is just amazing and truly one of my favorite make characters. If I had a book boyfriend, I would want it to be Sam.

This book was so intense, much more than the others have been. There is so much going on with Sam, Heven, Kimber, Cole. Gemma, Logan and now Riley (who I have to say I really like, even despite the, uh,, slightly crazy ending, I know, I know, but, there you have it.).
And even though this book is intense, it still has its lighter moments. Moments when I had a smile on my face from the tender moments with Heven and Sam and even the funnier moments when I actually laughed out loud.

Once again I love that Cambria continued with the alternating POVs between Heven and Sam. I just love that about these books. That we get to look inside both their heads and know what they are thinking and feeling. It just adds so much to this series.

While there are lighter moments, there are also some pretty hard ones too. Not everyone makes it in this one. We lose some people and it about broke my heart but we get to make some new friends and allies as well. And while that doesn't make up for the ones that didn't make it, it does make me excited to see where this series will go next.

Once again Cambria has blown me away with her ability to draw me into the story and feel like I am a part of it. To completely captivate me with the world and characters she has created. She words memorize me and make me want more. I am always sad when I have come to the end of one of her stories. She is an amazing storyteller.

Each time I don't think the story or characters can be better she surprises me again. I adore this series. I know eventually it will have to come to an end and I really do not look forward to that day. I don't want to have this series end. It will be like losing a friend, lots of friends in this case.

Cambria has once again created a masterpiece and I am so thankful I have been a part of it. I can't wait to read more!

I got a copy for review in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed the first two books and the short stories of this series and I was really excited about getting an ARC of Tirade. Too bad I got a bit disappointed or maybe my expectations were a bit too high. I didn’t like the direction the story took and I got annoyed at too many small things that happened.

The story takes a darker turn in this book, much darker than the previous books. I don’t particularly like dark books, but if a series starts out that way I think it is okay. This series on the other hand starts out not quite that dark, there are some dark elements, but not predominantly. In this book those elements multiply and become predominantly. I didn’t expect this change and I didn’t like it. There were enough parts of the story that I did like and I wanted to know how it all would end, but let’s say I had to convince myself a few times to continue reading.

The characters are done quite well, at least most characters do. We see Heven and Sam grow stronger, we learn more about Gemma and Logan. Meet a new and interesting character Riley and see more of Cole. I liked learning more about the characters, especially Gemma is always is such a mystery and I liked learning more about her although I do think the way this information was introduced could’ve been done better. I liked the fact that we get introduced to a new character so far in this series and I think Riley is a nice and interesting addition to the story.

There were also some characters that I didn’t like, especially the evil guys. Hecate and Beezlebub are just too cliché, they act like kids and even though they have lived an eternity they don’t have any patience and instead of taking and killing what they want, they seem weak and stupid. I didn’t like them and they acted unbelievable.
In this book is added to world building, but most parts where a bit strange and unbelievable. I did like getting to know a bit more, but still had a feeling we learned too less about the really important parts.

Also sometimes there was enough attention to the emotions, but on other times it felt like the characters didn’t feel enough. At some parts I thought the character acted unbelievable or out of character. While for example Riley was a character from which you knew exactly what to expect and he never acted out of character. Also there were times that I got annoyed at Heven, for example she is training to get Sam out of Hell, but refuses to eat enough. There were often small things like this that grated on my nerves because they didn’t make sense.

To conclude: didn’t like the direction the story took, also I thought it was a bit too dark. I didn’t like the evil guys and got annoyed at small things Heven does. I did like the new character Riley and learning more about the characters. The world building did add a bit, but most of it was a bit farfetched and I felt like we’re still missing some important pieces.

I received an ARC from the author for this one.

I have to say I was so happy to return back to this world. I felt like I have been gone too long but the author made it well worth the wait. I loved this book even more than the pervious books and I didn't think that would be possible. The author's writing has just gotten better and better and she really knows how to keep you hooked and wanting more. I loved everything about this book and can't wait for the next one.

I of course was happy to get back into this book to get more Sam in my life and boy did I get it. I just lvoe Sam and how selfless he is and what he is williing to do for Heven. I just love their relationship and how much they really care for each other. The author does such a good job of crafting a truly loving caring couple that is very rare in a lot of books. You don't see a one sided relationship in which one person is always giving in to the other one. Sam and Heven know how to compromise and work together towards their common goals It just makes me love them even more.

This book also ramped up the action with us getting to visit Hell and see more of what it's like. I loved that the author described it in such detail and had such vivid descriptions. I also loved that we got to learn more about the Dragon. I loved him and he was such a cute addition to the book. He was a really cool pet that you would love to have around and it was great to really learn what his purpose was. I also loved that this book gave me more Cole and Gemma as I loved seeing them interact with each other. I would love to see them get even more of a backstory too as there is so much more to be explored with them.

Overall this was another amazing installment of this series. I loved every minute of it and didn't want it to end. I found myself so immersed in the story and wrapped up in the world that I didn't want to put the book down. I couldn't get enough of it. I am simply in love with the author's writing style and they way she just grabs a hold of you and doesn't let go. I highly recommend this one to you as a must read. I personally can't wait for the next book to be out like right now pretty please Cambria Hebert.

Well, Riley as much as you don't want to like him, you just do! Hoping the good will shine through!

Loved catching up with Sam and Hever, although this was a very dark book, It took me a little longer to read this book, and I had to keep putting it down, even though I didn't want to, I wanted to be able to read this in one sitting!

Absolutely loved how Hever just kept getting stronger even though she kept having all that bad stuff thrown at her. I so wanted Beezlebub to get what he deserved?

Sam was stuck in the hellhole that was the dungeon, and really suffered, which in turn made Hever suffer, prompting her to locate Riley. Who despite all his faults kept his word to help Hever. As much as she didn't want to trust him, she did! struggling to know why she did.

Loved also how Gemma and Cole continued to fight what should be happening, and hopefully they can work thought their issues. I loved how Gran seemed to keep some kind of calm at the farm, but you knew there was something she was not telling. It was sad that Hever lost her mother, and you still knew that she was under some spell! but hopefully she finds her peace, and then to loose Logan, I really came to like that little boy! It was such a shame that he lost his fight! but you totally understand why he stopped fighting, he turned out to be a sweet boy!

Hecate hopefully gets her comeupance, and Kimber finally gets her soul back, and hopefully starts to right her wrongs! she wasn,t that bad really!

I cant wait to read Renegade, but I think i need a short break, before I tackle that book, need to read a couple of flight and fluffy novels or novellas! But I will be reading it very shortly!

Thanks Cambria, this has been an absolutely fantastic series so far!

I'm a big fan of this series so I was excited for the latest title and it didn't disappoint. Though I'd still say Charade is my favourite so far because of its shock factor, I still loved every bit of Tirade, it doesn't stop giving right the way through, the gang and Heven get into some hairy situations, it was a great ride watching them go through them and seeing how they handled the situations and came out the other side.
If you've read the previous books then you already know the writing is great as are the characters, Heven is getting stronger with each instalment and I'm looking forward to seeing how she comes out at the end of the next and final book and of course seeing how everything ends, particularly after the epilogue! And if you haven't read the previous book, then drop everything and do it because this is a great story set in an original world and did I mention Sam is super hot? Because I feel like that's an important point!
This is a must for fans of the series, you will not be disappointed but you might be left begging for book four.

Favourite quotes

'His kiss was as intoxicating as ever, melting my bones until he had to support me against his chest or else I would slip to the floor.'

'Gone was the insecure girl that would hide and cringe at the slightest noise. Gone was the girl who didn't think she was strong enough to face her fears. This girl had strength that matched our greatest enemies. This girl was no longer shy and timid, but powerful and confident. My chest swelled with love for everything she had been and everything she had become.
This girl was mine.'

**Review does not contain spoilers if you have not read previous books in the series**
Once again, I was not disappointed by this book. The perfect amount of twists and turns, and non-stop something happening. Again, I couldn’t put it down! I really like how Heven slowly changes throughout the books, affected by everything that goes on around her, but the author never losing site of the fact that she is 17, and still has normal 17 year old life events, rules and thoughts.

Again, there are more characters involved, and done very well. You never know if you (or Heven) can trust those that she comes across, and in at least one case, you don’t find out until the very end. I love the new characters and think they were a really great addition.

This is the first time where there were a few (as in maybe only 2) things that happened (or didn’t happen) that stood out a little, and didn’t make much sense to me, but certainly not glaring enough to give it less than 5 stars. It’s very possible that other readers wouldn’t be bothered by it, and the story still flowed very smoothly, regardless.

I have really loved this series from book 1, and none of these books disappoint! The book ended with me yelling at it, and I will be quickly reading the next!

The best yet! Cambria just keeps putting out great reads. Her story telling just gets better with every book I read. Charade left us off at a big cliffhanger. It is so hard not to spoil the story with a review of a book you <3. I want to tell all about everything I loved.

A new, or should I say reintroduced character Riley makes a great addition to this series. You know you should hate him, but you just can't help but love him. He is tall dark and handsome. Other than dark past whats not too love? The question is, how much will Heven love him too...

This book is packed with adventure. Way more violence than the previous books. There is a lot less of the high school nonsense that was in the first book.

For us older adults it was nice to see the romance kicked up a notch, but in a way that even the youngest of adult readers can enjoy.(because there was little to no detail)

There were a couple of things that happened that I wish ended differently, but sometimes that is just the way stories have to go.

Cambria ties up most of the loose ends in this book. Of course she leaves us wondering about enough things that I can't wait for the next book.

Oh my goodness,I am so hooked on this series! I couldn't put Tirade down, almost read it in one sitting. It was so action packed.Kept me glued to the book. The ending was what I've been waiting for. I knew someone knew more what they were saying. Heven and her friends will face impossibilities, betrayal, unity, love, and heartache.
So Sam is stuck in hell, leaving Heven with no protection from the thwarts of Beelzebub and his demons. Now she must find a way for her had her friends to rescue Sam.Though that may sound easy,it is proving to be close to impossible. Everywhere they look, every plan they come up with just doesn't seem to to work.
Heven gets desperate and seeks help from an unlikely source. But this source may not be trustworthy and may cause a rift between Sam and Heven. Though Heven knows Sam would not approve of her plan, she must go through with it before time runs out. Will they succeed or will Beelzebub finally get what he wants? Can Sam and Heven's love survive this ordeal?

So far this one was my favorite of the series! I simply couldn't put it down and the action was pretty much nonstop through the entire thing.

It starts out with Sam being trapped in Hell and Heven living through hell knowing she "left" him there and all the danger she's in now, without him there to protect her. The things that Sam is put through during his residency in Hell are absolutely horrific! And the only thing pulling him through is his Mindbond with Heven. Heven's life isn't much easier as she fights off enemies of her own, all while feeling Sam's pain and imagining the worst for him.

There were SO many things that happened in this book that I couldn't even begin to imagine would happen. It was so fast paced and full of fun and yummy Sam, that I couldn't put it down until I finished it. So, onto the last book now, I can't wait to see what is in store for these characters!!

Touch you.

Anywhere with you."

"Sam rushed forward, his wide hands splayed against my ribs and lifting me off the ground. His touch seared me, set every cell in me on fire and turned my brain to mush. I wrapped my arms around his neck, my legs around his waist and hugged him hard, never intending to let go. I wasn't ever letting go." - Heven

“Tirade is definitely a page turner. This series thus far has been absolutely amazing and I am excited to read the final book in the series. Author Cambria Hebert knows how to captivate her reads from beginning to end. The “Heven and Hell Series is a must read series, especially for reader who love an amazing paranormal read that will pull you in so much it will be as if you were there watching everything play out. I love all of the character in the book but of course Sam is my favorite along with Gran, Heven, Gemma, Logan, Ana and yes even Riley. Riley is the bad boy with the evil side; smooth but rough, beautiful and destructive. I can’t wait to see how everything for everyone falls into place. I want the happily ever-after’s for all of the characters but of course everything in this book comes at a price and it’s so worth it.

Even the strongest adversaries had weaknesses. I just had to figure out what it was and exploit it.

Betrayed by her close friend, Heven is forced to leave Sam behind. Minutes stretch to days, and Heven's rescue plan is full of holes. And full of danger.

This installment of the Heven and Hell series picks up with Sam in Hell and Heven desperate for his release. She seeks out Riley, Sam's dangerous ex-roommate, in the hopes that he can aid her.

Full of the lifelike characters readers have come to expect from this series, Tirade once again shows Heven's growth, her strength, and her courage. Sam shines on as Heven's knight, and even Riley shows his true colors. Laughter and hardship lurks at every turn, but with Sam and Heven together, not even the devil can stop them.

Every book in this series has just gotten better and better!!!! I love that the cast of characters is small and doesn't grow a whole lot, it makes it easier to remember. LOVED Riley in this book, LOVED Ana in this book and LOVED the Devourer. Heven goes through a lot in this book (a lot of it very sad!!!!) and my heart just goes out to her! I love how the characters have grown together in personality and as a family. I love how Heven can see the good in people enough to give them a chance and to forgive them readily. The end left it wide open for the next book with two quite large bits of unfinished business. So happy I have the fourth book to jump into. Another job well done with Tirade, Ms. Hebert!

This book was probably the most heart wrenching one for me. Maybe a little because I knew the end was coming and also because of how Heven grows up in this book! In the previous she was immature, a little whiny, and a little frustrating at times. In this book she is becoming a strong young woman trying to find her way and dealing with life without Sam, her mom, and the continuous attacks. Then comes Riley! I have to admit that for a time I was team Riley, but I just couldn’t stop loving Sam, and neither could Heven! Riley and Heven are both strong characters and sometimes you feel pulled between them and then Sam pops back up and it’s a three-way tug-of-war with your emotions. This book was a serious emotional roller coaster for me and I loved every minute of it!
