In just a few words, Claire and Big used to be a couple, but after realising that their relationship wasn't going anywhere and it was basically only carnal Claire moves away and decides to start a new life on her own. Big doesn't do anything to change her mind and their story ends there, even though they still have ties that bind them.
But after two whole years their hearts are still in the same place. Big regrets everyday his reaction and hopes for a second chance. Suddenly his wish comes true, when Claire returns after her boyfriend of shorts, hits her and threatens her.
The club will protect her and Big will try to regain her trust. Can they put aside their past and change their relationship once and for all? And what will happen with Steven, the ex from hell who still wants to hurt Claire? Well i can only tell you that it won't be very pleasant!

I like Jenika Snow, but I know that after reading her stories more of my brain cells would have died, but this book. Omg it was the worst!

Everything was on repeat. The story could have been summed up in about 10 pages. Not over 100 with the H/h repeating the same shit over and over. She shouldn't have left, he shouldn't have let her leave.
So our Hero's name is Big. Yup. Because he has one giant dick.

He fell in love with his VPs sister but of course never told her, so she takes off for 2 years. She comes back to town because her boyfriend hits her. So now Big wants her back.
Our heroine is Claire. When she was 25 she started dating big. They went at it like bunny rabbits. She fell in love with him and wanted to be Big's old lady. How does she tell him this? She leaves. She assumes she's just a piece of ass to him because he never tells her different. So she decides. I'll just bounce, if he chases me than he loves me! What are we 12?
He doesn't chase her but he regrets it for 2 years. She regrets leaving, for 2 years.

And so it goes. The douche boyfriend is in the book for like a page. Big and Claire are in love thinking about puppy dogs and rainbows.

La copertina mi ha attirata, la storia ambientata in una banda di motociclisti mi ha tratta in inganno ed ho subito pensato “vuoi vedere che trovo l’erede di Jax Teller?�.
Ahimè nulla di più lontano...questi motociclisti sono da subito super sboccati (è anche vero che non stiamo parlando di stinchi di santo) ma se fosse stato solo il loro linguaggio tutt’altro che aulico ci sarei passata sopra senza problemi...qui abbiamo una storia d’amore fondata sul nulla, con un so che di primitivo, un po� alla io Tarzan tu Jane, il tutto condito da tante scene erotiche estreme (e qui ammetto che forse il titolo avrebbe dovuto farmi suonare qualcosa in testa) che trascendono nel sadismo ma senza minimamente entrare nella psicologia dei protagonisti...l’esempio perfetto di quanto possa essere sottile la linea che fa trascendere un romanzo erotico in qualcosa di peggio.

Sono molto in difficoltà a scrivere questa recensione, non amo scrivere recensioni negative.
Storia insulsa e banale, dialoghi scontati, sesso a gogò, sadico e rude, linguaggio sboccato sporco, in genere mi piace ma quando una storia è sensata e soprattutto approfondita psicologicamente, cosa che qui manca. Come manca credibilità coinvolgimento e impatia con i personaggi. Sorry🙈

Estremo è il primo libro della serie erotica Bleeding Mayem MC incentrata sui membri del club dei motociclisti da cui la serie prende il nome. Bikers dominanti, cattivi e violenti con chiunque li ostacoli o faccia del male a chi appartiene alla famiglia del club. Sono passati due anni da quando Claire ha abbandonato la vita del club per allontanarsi da Big, l'unico uomo che abbia mai amato ma che non ha mai fatto nulla per portare il loro rapporto ad un livello più alto del semplice sesso. Sono due anni che Big, soprannome appropriato per le dimensioni di quello che ha in mezzo alle gambe, non riesce a dimenticare Claire e si rimprovera per non averle dimostrato i suoi veri sentimenti lasciandola andare via. Ora che Claire è tornata al club e nella vita di Big in cerca di aiuto, il passato deve essere superato per andare avanti e tenerla per sempre al suo fianco. Proteggerla e rifarla sua è tutto ciò che Big vuole, deve solo trovare il modo di parlarle, rimettere le cose a posto e farla sentire finalmente amata. Forse per la brevità della storia e sicuramente per i tanti concetti ripetuti più e più volte l'evoluzione narrativa è abbastanza superficiale, i protagonisti sono poco sviluppati, incentrati nel rimuginare sulle scelte del passato e i rispettivi errori. Gli stereotipi sono tanti e marcati, soprattutto sulle peculiarità dei motociclisti e il loro stile di vita, sulle innumerevoli feste e le donne che si donano a loro in cerca di sesso con la speranza di diventare le loro Old Lady. Questa è una novella davvero molto corta, un concentrato poco sviluppato sul club dei motociclisti e i suoi membri, sulle tante feste a base di alcol, droga e sesso. È un erotico spinto con un linguaggio sporco e volgare, sicuramente adatto e rappresentativo della personalità dei protagonisti in cui sono chiare le dinamiche di dominazione e sottomissione con sesso violento e predilezione al dolore. La scrittura è semplice e lineare, un inizio di serie che presenta la famiglia del club e quelli che saranno i protagonisti delle prossime storie...

This is the first book in the Bleeding Mayhem MC series. The book was quite entertaining but I just wish it was longer, I enjoyed Big and Claire as a couple. Claire's only family is her beloved brother, Mayhem, the Vice President of the Bleeding Mayhem MC. She considers the MC her family and two years ago she fell in love with Big, one of the club's members. Big took her virginity and they had an explosive affair for over a year but Claire feared she was nothing but a fuck doll for Big so she left town before her heart broke any more. Big loved Claire then and he still does two years later he only wishes he would have told her before she left or went after her. Claire tries breaking up with her boyfriend and he punches her in the face, so she hits him in the head with a fireplace poker and knocks him unconscious. Scared by her actions and what will happen when her ex wakes up Claire packs up her car and goes to the only place she feels safe ... The Bleeding Mayhem. Claire knows she can count on her twin brother, Mayhem and all the club members to help her but what she didn't count on was all the feelings that came back once she sees Big again. Big is shocked as hell when Claire walks back into the clubhouse after two years away but he knows this time he's not letting her get away especially when he tells her how he really feels about her.

Grammatical and syntax errors abound, text reference errors make a confusing read as to who she is really talking about, and let's not get into spelling.
So, so disappointed as I have read other books by this author but maybe her writing has been tempered by Sam Crescent, who knows, but this book was repetitive to the nth degree both in terms of vocabulary example "I shouldn't have let her go " by the 10th page I GOT IT. Really!!!!
And the lack of real story. This was a book I slogged through hoping it would get better, it didn't, so it was a waste of 3 hours of my time and from this I don't think I'll ever read any more books by this author. For me it didn't even rate one star and that is saying something as even if the book is bad it's usually gets a star.
I rest my case!

2 Disappointed Stars
I was really hoping that this book was going to be good, since I've been having a hard time lately finding a good book, but this was just another bad book. I couldn't really get into this book and the only reason I actually finished it was because I already paid for it. I basically skimmed the whole thing after there was about a chapter and a half of just sex. I was also hoping that Claire was going to make Big work for getting her back more but nope after their first real conversation since she arrived back at the clubhouse she all but threw herself at him. Definitely not was I was looking for.

When Claire finds herself in a situation she runs to her twin brother and the MC for help. And going back means going back to the one person who has always held her heart... Big! But can they overcome everything that happened in the past to get back to being what they once were.
Loved Big, dirty, rough, sexy as sin and definitely a dirty talker!! And who doesn't like that.

Estremo è proprio il giusto titolo per questo libro e purtroppo non in senso positivo.
Questo non è il miglior libro dedicato agli MC che abbia letto: le premesse per una bella storia dove il biker salva la sua ex ragazza da una situazione incresciosa riuscendo a riconquistarla, facendo così risbocciare la loro storia d’amore e di sesso, si perdono riga dopo riga.
Il vero tenore della storia lo si intuisce dalle prime pagine: una storia ambientata tra i biker che vuole essere erotica ma, ed è un grosso ma, manca assolutamente di quella sensualità e vero erotismo che distinguono un porno da un erotico.
Sorvolando su uno stile di scrittura che poteva essere, a mio avviso, più curato e meno ripetitivo, l’insistere su dimensioni e “tasso di umidita� dei due protagonisti priva le scene di sesso di attrattiva. Neanche il voler inserire una parvenza di rapporto dominatore/dominata aiuta. La presenza fisica di Big e le sue dimensioni non giustificano né rendono automatico che Claire sia sottomessa e ubbidiente, come non è automatico e credibile che questi 25 cm di dura carne entrino ed escano da vari pertugi senza problemi di sorta.
Durante tutta la lettura poi, i pensieri dei protagonisti sono praticamente sempre gli stessi: rimpianto per il tempo passato e ormoni incontrollabili con conseguenti effetti fisici.
La base della storia, i problemi di Claire, la vendetta che Big si prende, occupano una infinitesima parte del libro, rendendo chiaro al lettore che il club, i vari personaggi, la vicenda stessa, fungono solo da sottofondo per le prestazioni sessuali.
Dalle mie parole si potrebbe capire che io non ami il genere erotico, invece è proprio l’esatto contrario e vederlo sminuito a pure descrizioni prive di anima è probabilmente la cosa che mi ha seccato di più.
Come ho detto anche lo stile dell’autrice poteva essere decisamente più curato, usa un linguaggio limitato e quasi scolastico, tanto che in alcuni momenti si perde interesse al prosieguo della storia. Il binomio biker ed erotismo condito da un pizzico di suspence apre ottime possibilità di scrivere storie interessanti e coinvolgenti, questa è un’occasione mancata e me ne rammarico profondamente.
A fine libro si aprono gli scenari per la storia che riguarda Mayhem, il fratello di Claire, vicepresidente del MC: speriamo bene.

Estremo è proprio il giusto titolo per questo libro e purtroppo non in senso positivo.
Questo non è il miglior libro dedicato agli MC che abbia letto: le premesse per una bella storia dove il biker salva la sua ex ragazza da una situazione incresciosa riuscendo a riconquistarla, facendo così risbocciare la loro storia d’amore e di sesso, si perdono riga dopo riga.

"Big" e Claire
Lettura veloce e fluida. Una storia che viaggia molto in superficie. Big... un soprannome che è tutto un programma. Claire che si era allontanata dal club motociclistico Bleeding Mayhem MC per colpa di Big e che vi ha fatto ritorno perchè ha combinato un casino e le serve protezione. Nessun dramma, nessun approfondimento ma tanta passione. I membri di questo club sono dei veri ragazzacci stile "Ehi bella monta in sella... e cavalca" ahahahah Ma se qualcuno fa male ai loro cari... entrano subito in azione. Ottima lettura per chi vuole passare un'oretta in relax.

Just say no
I love Erotica but there has to be more then just having sex in a book. This book was about 90% sex and 10% story. Jenkins Snow use to have great stories and great sex in her books but sadly no more. if you want to read a story with people you can care about bypass this book. Shirley

Disappointing!
I did not like this and I mostly like this authors books, they are safe and steamy but this one was just meh, I know it’s one of her earlier works so maybe it was because of that but I really felt like it was so boring and sometimes nonsensical!
Also Big or whatever his name was f*cking anyone he could after they broke up was a big ick for me, especially knowing she stayed celibate 🙄 because of course she did, lol!

Il mondo dei biker è sicuramente sempre molto accattivante. Le relazioni tra i fratelli, l'amore e il rispetto per le proprie old lady sono qualcosa che mi hanno spesso affascinato. Nel caso specifico penso che c'erano ottime possibilità che ne uscisse un gran bel libro, ma non è stato proprio così. Molte cose avrebbero potuto essere migliori, ma dato che è il primo libro autoconclusivo di una serie, non dispero che i successivi possano cambiare.

I was drawn to this book for a couple of reasons: 1. The author ~ I haven't read as much from her as I would like. 2. MC ~ Can't get enough MC romances 3. The cover and blurb 4. Second chance romance ~ This is a favorite theme of mine when done right. And last but not least ~ The hero in the book is named BIG ;) ;) I had to find out for myself if he lived up to is name. lol
It always interests me when reading a book with characters that like a little pain with their pleasure. That they need some level of pain to achieve that ultimate pleasure. I wasn't sure how in depth Jenika was going to take it between Big and Claire so I was really surprised when the scenes were not as "Hardcore" as I was expecting. Just HOT KINKY and a little on the DIRTY side. Which brings up another point...I thought that this book was going to be heavy on the sex and light on the story when in fact it was the other way around. Just enough sex to balance out the story. And Big definitely lived up to his name. ;)
Big was a lot more then I expected. He didn't play games and he was the one to realize his mistakes and confront Claire and try to make it right. That won me over big time. He gave her the play of ignoring him in the beginning but he didn't let it go to far before letting his feelings be known. He truly was sorry for the way things happened between them 2 years ago. He had missed her and all it took was seeing her again to know he wasn't letting her go. Claire was a bit more difficult for me. I totally understand why she felt she had to leave but a little communication between them could have changed things. Her trying to ignore him and the feelings she still had for him totally didn't work. I LOVED the relationship between these two. When Claire finally gave in, not that Big gave her a choice, they were perfect for each other. There is nothing better than a rough sexy biker who has sweetness in him for his lady.
The secondary characters caught my attention as well. I'm so wanting more of Mayhem. I loved the relationship that he had with Claire. So sweet.
Good start to the series, excellent writing, some HOT KINKY sex, love, a second chance, forgiveness, loyalty, friendship, laughter, revenge, family, bikers and a HEA. What more could you ask for??
