J'ai tout d'abord été attiré par le résumé qui nous parle d'un monde dans lequel tout le monde est aveugle et que certaines question philosophique vont être abordée. J'ai beaucoup aimé la découverte de ce monde qui est dur à s'imaginer car le personnage de Gabr est aveugle, mais finalement on se retrouve très vite embarquer dans l'intrigue. Elle est entre-coupé de définitions, d'articles, de poèmes et plein d'autre petits format dans le même genre. C'est ce qui pour moi m'a un peu fatigué sur la deuxième partie du roman, j'ai trouvé cela coupait trop l'intrigue et que le personnage était trop le prétexte pour faire de la philosophie, du coup on perdait le rythme et puis les définitions philosophique m'ont un peu fatiguée. Par contre la dernière partie du roman est beaucoup exaltant, on comprends enfin les raisons, on comprends le système, le personnage est une fois de plus bousculé dans ses croyances. On a une belle réflexion sur la liberté sur cette partie et la définition de ce que l'on considère comme le bonheur. La fin est assez brutale, je n'ai pas vraiment compris ce qu'elle voulait nous dire malgré tout. Je peux dire que c'est une lecture intéressante mais qui n'aura pas sur me convaincre totalement.

I was first attracted by the summary that tells us about a world in which everyone is blind and that some philosophical question will be addressed. I loved the discovery of this world that is hard to imagine because the character of Gabr is blind, but finally we find ourselves quickly embark on the plot. It is interspersed with definitions, articles, poems and many other small formats in the same genre. That's what for me was a little tired about the second part of the novel, I found it cut too much the plot and that the character was too much the pretext to do philosophy, suddenly we lost the pace and then the philosophical definitions made me a little tired. By cons the last part of the novel is very exciting, we finally understand the reasons, we understand the system, the character is once again jostled in his beliefs. We have a beautiful reflection on the freedom on this part and the definition of what we consider as happiness. The end is pretty brutal, I did not really understand what she wanted to tell us anyway. I can say that it is an interesting reading but that will not have to convince me completely.
