This is such a great prequel to web series, I've read it again in preparation for and Season 6.

It's basically The Guild season 0, revealing why Codex starting playing The Game, how she met up with her future guildees, and the formation of the Knights of Good guild. It's got great art that closely resembles the characters, character development, and plenty of geeky humor with the same quirky characters as the show. I especially liked the tie-ins with things mentioned in the series, such as Clara going into labor while playing The Game, Codex setting her bi-curious bf's cello on fire, Axis of Anarchy characters, etc.

It's not necessary to read before watching the show, but it is a fantastic addition to a much-loved series and a must-read for not just fans, but MMO and RPG gamers too.

This one deals with not dealing with bad boyfriends, with having the courage to leave those guys, and to finding online friends that become like family to you... Finding your 'guild', in other words. Online friends can teach us many ways in which to be brave in real life because it is hard to ignore the bold archetype of The Hero within a virtual gaming environment.

A great companion to the hit web series "The Guild". Though it is Felicia's first attempt at comics, it's funny and retains much of the web series' humor and helps flesh out the characters a bit more.
