I read Skywards in one sitting. It is beautifully illustrated and while not a child, I was still able to appreciate its sentiment. Yperen pens a thoughtful tale of friends coming together to help someone that is struggling; something we can all aspire to. Skywards is a story of friendship, understanding, and support. I highly recommend this story for children and adults alike.

A story of resilience
This story of the flying squirrel was so sweet and a great way to introduce to children that sometimes you get knocked down, but to keep trying to get up. Also, knowing that it is okay sometimes to ask for help. The illustrations were also beautiful and played an important role in the book!

Soar High!
I love that the cover says it all. It’s a tale of being knocked down but getting back up again. Teaches little ones to never give up. Also teachers them about the importance of having a community. Definitely recommend.

It is a nice book with beautiful cover and illustrations. I like the tag line-A tale of being knocked down and getting up again. It teaches to never give up and it’s okay to ask for help when needed.
