What more could an exhibitionist want than a willing voyeur right next door?

Emil
I like being watched. I’m not ashamed of it, nor my job at Elite 8 Studios where fans know me as Felix. But when my newest costar turns out to be the very same neighbor I’ve been giving private shows to through the window, I’m thrown for a loop.

Christian is gorgeous—a toppy femboy with a love of skirts and belly chains. He’s every bit the Vixen his moniker would suggest. Yet, for whatever reason, he seems enamored with me. We’re quickly thrown together to pilot a series of live stream videos, and our chemistry is off the charts.

But when Christian starts coming over, cuddling with me on the couch and bringing food for my hermit crab, I know I’m in trouble.

Christian may be my coworker, but before that, he was my voyeur. And my friend. He knows me in a way so few others do, but intimacy for me is complicated.

Can I trust Christian with my heart? Or is mixing business, pleasure, and love bound to blow up in my face?

Felix is a neighbors-to-coworkers-to-more romance between a nerdy, bespectacled exhibitionist and his smitten voyeur. There’s scorching fun in front of the cameras, two mouthy performers, sweet dates and adorable hermit crabs, friends who show up when you need them, and one very HEA. It’s book six in the Elite 8 Studios series but can be read as a standalone.

I kne~ew what this dress would do~oo before I walked next to you / My makeup's popping too (Do You Like it Victoria Monét).

Can I be candid for a moment? I really only started this because I thought (and still think) that the cover is hot. No blurb, no nothing, I just dove right on in. I guess I caught a lucky break because it turns out that the story and everything else about it was actually good. Yay! Now I don't have to worry about this whole thing looking completely like a shallow venture. Things sometimes work out alright in the end, huh? So yeah, like I said, the cover’s hot and then the accompanying story is pretty hot too. Too hot to read, in fact. Psst ouch! Haha! No really, it's literally too hot to read. Like, outside. I'd already whipped out my favorite winter coat the minute the clock struck midnight on September 1st, and yet I can still feel the sun cooking me! Seriously, can this heat die down already? Please, I beg you, I yearn for the breeze! I know, I know, welcome back to the Seattle weather channel, but I never feel like I can fully immerse myself in a book whenever it’s too hot out, so I feel like it’s an important note to factor into this review, considering that it may or may not have affected my opinion of the book in general. Good book, miserable reading conditions. And as of this moment, I'm thinking that Felix may have been a little too sexy for me to actually enjoy unambiguously. There’s a bit of a tonal whiplash because I feel like it wants to be both About Last Night and When Harry Met Sally (the former basing its strength on the sex-appeal of its two main actors, while the latter on its lead’s chemistry through dialogue), and finding a balance between the two isn't the easiest thing to accomplish, so I think this book would have been a lot better off if it had focused solely on one lane. And preferably one that includes better dialogue, which is my convoluted way of saying that I think I probably would have liked this better if it were more like When Harry Met Sally. And since Captain Obvious is always around when I'm writing book reviews, I have to say that a character only ever being described as super hot doesn't actually mean that much in book format, considering we can't see them. Sorry book, I've got a shit imagination, you've got to use your words. I mean, I understand that this is one of those kinds of guilty pleasure books that’s mostly focused on the sex appeal (as the two main characters literally meet when Christian catches Emil doing The Jerk through the window of his apartment), and constantly describing the character's looks is fine or whatever, but whenever I dig a character in a book, it's usually the dialogue that makes them, dare I say... hot. In bold this time. I think the author must have realized that the story was rather sparse outside of how attractive everyone was, because more realistic life drama (like the character’s strenuous relationships with their parents) was added interspersed between the billions of sex scenes. And yeah, the drama gives the story some dimension, but it was so intertwined with the characters constantly doin' it that I kind of had a hard time getting a full read on what the book was trying to say or mean.

The thing is, whenever things would get a little too real, I often found myself just hoping it'd stay there, and we'd get to see a more romantic side to their relationship. Because otherwise, the only romantic thing I remember them doing is their little slow dance to EDM... and wow, that’s an inspired choice? Also, the author didn't give us a song name so I couldn't even envision the scene clearly enough to properly make fun of them. Foiled again! There was certainly enough meat to go around, but needed more meat to the story. Um, should emphasize that I’m not one of those the-sex-scenes-were-pointless guys, but ending every chapter with Christian and Emil 34 + 35-ing? Like, after a point, I am just trying to drink my tea over here. At what point is it excessive!? Give it a rest! Of course, none of this really bothered to the point of dislike, and despite my lack of thought going into the book, I am generally aware of what to expect whenever there's a shirtless man on the cover! I know how these things work. Besides, I think the author does a pretty good job of fleshing out both Christian and Emil outside of just them showing off their flesh. Side note, but flesh is kind of a gross word to keep saying after a while (flesh, flesh, flesh). In other words, I liked the story, but it may have been too hot for me, and I might have to stay out of the kitchen next time. We~ell, who am I kidding? I’ll probably be here again next week reading Elite 8 Studios number: however-many-there-are. It’s really only a matter of time. On the topic of genres, I know I've been blaming my middling response on the heat, but I've been having a growing fear that I'm a bit of a fraud; that I've just been pretending to love books with shirtless men on the cover. Shirtless man: good. Book: good. But both of them together? Hm, I’m not so sure. I remember a while back I had a “Chance the Rapper phase, where I would walk around listening to all of his albums on repeat and all the usual stuff a poser like me would do. It was a whole thing, trust me. I even had the 3 snapback and everything! But after a while I was like wait, I'm not even vibing with this shit (also my head is too fucking big for a damn snapback). My problem was that I only wanted to look like I liked his music rather than actually liking it! Wasted times, for real. Well, now I’m left wondering if I’m repeating the “Chance the Rapper incident with Elite 8 Studios #6, because I’ve noticed that I don’t actually rate many books of this genre very high. It's like it's gotten to the point where I mostly just use them more as a low bar to which every other book can leap over.

I guess it doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things, as reading is reading, but I do hope I find a book that has a shirtless man on the cover and also pulls me in story wise the same way the Master of Restless Shadows books by Ginn Hale did. But thinking positive now, I really appreciated how sex positive the story was, and Felix's portrayal of sex workers really reminds me of just how much better stories have gotten at being open-minded and diverse over the years. Gone are the days of our stories only either being borderline offensive or sickeningly wholesome; it's a new age and it’s great! Growing up on Xbox Live (one sentence horror stories), I remember I would sometimes get sent pictures of gay porn in a haha-look-at-the-gay-dudes- kind of way (I know, it's weird. There's a whole weird culture on there), and while I appreciated the thought nonetheless, it was clear that it wasn't a gesture with positive intent behind it. Yeah well, jokes on them, it never bothered me none, because I... am gay dudes! Ha ha! Anyway, my point is, coming from a place where being gay was just another punch line people would use to put others down, it’s really cool to see books like this out there featuring gay couples without them being seen through the lens of ignorance. So, I know made a big deal up there crying about how I might be pretending to like this genre, but I’m pretty sure I was just being dramatic. The heat does weird stuff to my brain, I’m telling you! And even if I did start reading them in a Pshh, I guess I’ll give this a read lol kind of way, I'm not really going to stop reading books with a sexy man on the cover! What can I say? I'm weak. Besides, this genre is a part of me now. It's like how I started saying it was actually kind of dope ironically after watching a Tiktok (that I saw on Twitter), and now the phrase is just a part of my daily lexicon. It’s not ironic anymore, this is just how I talk! So, I guess what I’m trying to say that constantly coming back to read a shirtless-man-on-the-cover book every so often isn’t some kind of lark, this is my reader identity now. I think it’s safe to say that just because I'm not throwing around 5 stars willy-nilly, I still really like these kinds of books, and I shouldn't let minor nitpicks sour my opinions. Take the song “Summer Friends by my favorite rapper, Chance the Rapper, for example. It's usually a skip when it comes on shuffle, but maybe I should try to enjoy it as the breezy summer song it is rather than focusing on Francis and the Lights in the background having what sounds like an intense series of orgasms for the entire 3:56 minute runtime. Got to focus on the good. The Good!

“You’re cute when you’re freaking out.
“That bodes well for you, I mutter. “I freak out a lot.

~2.5~

I've read two other books in this series: Malibu and Himbo. I four-starred both, partly because they're porn-adjacent (one MC works in porn but quits after getting together with the other MC).

Felix is porn-immersed (both MCs continue to fuck other people at work), which nope. However, that's a ME problem. This is clearly a series about porn stars, so I'm not going to whine about that.

My lowish rating is for other reasons:

- The way the MCs initially met was kind of creepy. I would lose my shit if someone peeped in my room while I was changing or whatever. I would appreciate the heads up but not the sexual comments. Christian didn't know Emil or that Emil got off on being watched. His note was entirely inappropriate.

- The MCs weren't all that interesting, and their relationship moved too quickly.

- Emil's freakout at the end because Christian didn't immediately respond to his "I love you" was immature. The whole thing felt scripted, like a pseudo fourth quarter breakup.

- Christian calling Emil "Specs" (because Emil wears glasses - get it?) was kind of annoying but whatever.

- Christian calling Emil "Specs" over 200 times (approximately 7 times per chapter) grated on my very soul.

- Any time Emil effused about the human mind, Christian was all, HOLY SHIT, WOW OF ALL WOWS, EMIL IS A GENIUS. Um, no, Emil is a grad student, and this is what grad students do. I'm not a fan of authors using their characters as mouthpieces to present their life's philosophies, which is what all these speeches felt like.

- The entire subplot with Emil's family not appreciating him felt like filler. Did we need the scene where Emil and Christian take Emil's younger brother to the arcade? What did that add to the story?

- Too many sex scenes, which I skimmed.

I did like that Christian is a femme top (a "blouse" according to Alex) who wears skirts and is proud of his Korean heritage (we need more Asian MCs!).

I liked Christian's friend Noel (and was more invested in Noel's potential relationship with his sexy bartender than the MCs tbh).

I loved Christian's grandma and the hermit crabs.

Oh, and the epilogue wasn't too shabby either.

« After all, what more could an exhibitionist want than a willing voyeur right outside their bedroom window? »

This installment has to be THE hottest of them all. I mean, it’s a pornstar romance, I expected the heat, but damnnnn.
Sexy, skirt wearing, femboy power top?
*New kink unlocked ✔️*

“Could you just be a little less hot, please?

Christian was just next level sexiness, add in Emil’s exhibitionism and the fucking skirts my brain has melted, I am a puddle of goo. No coherent thoughts for this review, I’m afraid. My mind is full of naughty things.

“It’s like some sort of modern-day fairy tale. I huff a laugh. “Ah, yes. The classic porn stars falling madly in love story.

So yeah this was ultra spicy spiciness, but the romance was also sweet and caring. Full of cute dates, Emil being a shy nerd, and just two people seeing each other and loving what they see. Their relationship was super fluffy and dreamlike, very romantic and light.

“It still hurts, he finally says, “when the people who created you, the ones who raised you, don’t seem to see who you are.

Of course, Emmy Sanders still manages to make me cry by making me feel seen. Emil and Christian’s story managed to bury itself in my heart, managed to tug at some feelings hidden inside there. For anyone who needs to hear this, you are important. You are seen.

I had an awesome time with these two, and they’re definitely in my top three faves of the series.

“I think I was yours from the beginning.

I love this book. I'm obsessed with this series and the kinky warm hug that it is. Felix, or Emil which is his actual real name not his performer persona, is and endearing mix of nerdy and kinky. Vixen, or Christian, is the perfect person for him. Emil is an exhibitionist and Christian becomes the safest person for him to explore his kink. I loved how their relationship developed before them working together, and how, before they became intimate, they were a bit closed off. But they gave each other hope and trust and it was beautiful to read. This book isn't angsty, but it isn't fluff, the characters have depth and development: Emil standing up first for his brother and then for himself, and Christian daring to dream of his future and not just survive. I'm not saying they heal each other, but they hold space for the other to become stronger and to truly believe in their respective self-worth *chef's kiss*
As always, I appreciated every single cameo from our fav Elite 8 Studio performers, especially Alex. He's so funny.
This book is sweet and soft and, yeah, a warm hug.

I knew I would love Emil's story 😍

Emil's battle with insecurity and feeling unseen by the people who are supposed to love him most had my heart aching. I wanted to just swoop in with a blanket and cookies and just hug him and listen to his science talk 🥹

Christian was so intuitive to what Emil needed and they fit together so well. There was just so much cuteness in this story considering it's about two pornstars, one an exhibitionist and the other a voyeur 😂 Loved how the two sides of their personalities came across and their scenes are tied for my favourites with Dix and Niko's.

I would like to have seen more of after Emil talked to his parents though. It was a big part of his struggles throughout almost the entire book but then we don't really see what comes of it, just a brief mention.

Sad that this is the end of Elite 8 for now, I really hope there'll be more books in future because I'm so curious about Brad!

Another hit from Emmy Sanders! I absolutely loved Emil and Christian. Who could be more perfect for an exhibitionist, than a voyeur? They had smoking hot chemistry right from the beginning. But what was even better than their chemistry, was their emotional connection. They were so adorable together 😍😍. Felix is definitely my new favorite book in the series!

This was a bit tricky to rate because I loved the first half, and I thought the premise was great and super hot. But the book also felt like it could've been nearly half as long and I found myself getting bored with what felt like repetitive spice and heavy-handed family drama that turned out to be easily solved.

Felix and Christian were both wonderful, and I loved their dynamic. The exhibitionist/voyeur thing worked so well for them and it was really hot. I liked that they got to do lives at the studio, it shook things up a bit, and it was refreshing to see them both enjoying and wanting to continue their jobs even after getting together. I also loved Christian being a "blouse" (feminine top) which isn't something I've read too often.

Like I said, things got a bit repetitive, but I do love this series and I'm sad to say goodbye. The Elite 8 family is so great and I was really excited to see everyone one last time (Mal and Henrik even made an appearance yay!!) and I'll miss them. Alex especially, I love that chaos gremlin lol

Thank you to GRR for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Ohmigod. I knew Emil was going to be one of my favourites and this just cemented it. And having Christian as literally his perfect foil? IT WAS WONDERFUL. This book has some of my favourite things ever:

- Exhibitionist x Voyeur
- Found (porn) Family
- Nerd x Artist (Christian sews!!)
- Abnormal animals as pets
- Supportive Partners (and bosses. Except Christian's old boss ew)

And ok. Can I petition Emmy to write a Max/Noel novella as an addition to this world? Because I need more of them!!

This whole series has been a huge hit for me and I can't wait to see what comes next. I'm still holding out hope that our fearless Elite 8 leader gets a book. LOL.

Cute with nice characters and low angst relationship. Could have easily been half the length. I was very surprised when I thought it was ready to end and I was only at 50%. Things dragged out and got repetitive - lots of sex scenes. Hermit crabs. Visits with a lovely Korean grandmother. One guy in home-made skirts. Many reminders that ‘Specs is Christian’s nickname for Emil. Cameos from previous books. Boring towards the end. Fluffy, sweet epilogue.

I LOVED IT!!

Christian is my fierce baby, I adopted him. He’s amazing! Don’t ever mess with him because you're gonna lose. He’s femme, he wears skirts, he’s funny, badass and an amazing attentive boyfriend. I’m totally smitten!

This book was the perfect mix of spice and sweet. Emil and Christian are amazing, their connection was there from the start, even before they met. And they’re soooo hot together!! Emil is a cute shy crabs daddy but also an exhibitionist 👀🔥 And the live videos are spiiiicy!

I loved seeing all the Elite 8 characters in this book, even Mal and Henrik were there (my sweet babies!)

I know it’s the last book in the series for now but I wonder who would be next? Tanner is already married, Noel and Max are already together. Maybe Sean the new hired?

“𝐌 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭.
“𝐌 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐯𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐮𝐫.

As an exhibitionist, Emil loves being watched. When he learns that he inadvertently gave his new neighbor a peep show, he’s far from mortified.

The pair strike up a somewhat anonymous friendship after exchanging numbers, but all that changes when Emil’s voyeuristic neighbor turns out to be his newest co-star at Elite 8.

The chemistry between him and Christian is sizzling hot on and off screen, but lines start to blur between them when he and Christian start spending time together outside of work.

“𝐘𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲, 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐬? 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐈 𝐬𝐞𝐞?
“𝐘𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐝𝐨.

*sigh* I loved these two! Emil killed me with his shyness and insecurity, but Christian read him so easily and was so intuitive to Emil’s needs—both emotionally and sexually. They were absolutely precious and fit together so well, and I loved every minute of their spicy and sweet story.

- neighbors to coworkers to more
- exhibitionist x voyeur

~ ARC BOOK REVIEW ~
Felix

“My brave exhibitionist.
“My beautiful voyeur.

Thank God for asbestos!

Have you ever felt pressure in your chest and spinning from reading a book? This one left me reeling in the best way. Emmy, Emil and Christian are so beautifully written. I feel the two of them in my self like real people.

Emil aka Felix is our prickly, sassy, mouthy, lil exhibitionist brainiac. He is so smart, thoughtful and loves to be watched. He just wants to be seen.

Christian aka Vixen is a toppy femboy/seamstress, with the most beautiful skirts and belly chains. He sometimes says the most perfect things and sometimes he has the filthiest mouth; talk about balance. He is a voyeur but only for his Emil. He is protective of those he loves. Which seems to be a challenge for him, to love. More of, the fear of what happens after love.

These two neighbors, turned co-workers are thrown for a loop, when Emil comes face to face with the person he has been putting himself on display for through his bedroom window.

I love how Christian embraced all Emil was and support him, in everything. A remarkable show of true love.

I love Christian for choosing not to let fear rule his life. I love everything about him and Emil. These two were perfect for each other, their chemistry is off the charts, and they just bloomed and blossomed together. They made each other thrive. Plus they are the most perfect crab daddies in all the land.

I loved the story Rebecca told Emil about himself and the relationship he had with his two younger siblings. Such a beautiful moment.

I can’t even tell you have many times I connected with what the characters were saying. I have so many highlights, where you woven Emil psychology degree, with what felt like wisdom beyond his years. You really gave this book everything, I can’t tell you how appreciated that is.

The whole elite 8 studios crew new and old gathering was fabulous. Im not even sure who my favorite is anymore, I think its all of them. I’m going to miss these guys something fierce and I know in my heart, I’m going to revisit them.

Thank you Emmy for trusting me with reading this ARC for you. It was amazing and I fell in love with the whole Elite 8 crew. I hope you know how talented and masterful your work is.

I never want to see the word Specs again in my LIFE. 214 fucking times is too much for mentioning a nickname okay there is a line 🙃

I don't know how to feel about this as the ending to the series. Really enjoyed the first half but the second half was a never-ending epilogue with random scenes with secondary characters in trouble that weren't even relevant just thrown in constantly? Maybe I'm missing something and those were set-ups for future spin-offs. 🤷‍♀

I received an ARC from GRR and this is my honest review.

The first half of this book was perfect, 5 stars. I loved Emil and Christian and the spice was 🥵 like next level. I inhaled it and wouldn’t have changed a thing.

But then at around 50%, their story felt done? The second half felt like a bunch of random things to prolong the story but it all felt a bit unnecessary and chaotic. The entire cast of Elite 8 showing up at a bar because a guy they don’t know felt one guy was being sus was bizarre. I understood Christian and Emil showing up but the rest of them felt like it was just the author wanting a reason to include the other characters.

At first I thought the nickname specs was quite cute but then we got beaten over the head with it, 214 times 😭 and it made some of the dialogue a bit stilted.

There was a particularly sweet moment in the second half between Emil and his younger sister that made me a bit emotional so that was a highlight towards the end.

Landed on 4 stars because the first half was 5 but the second half was 3.

🌶️🌶️🌶

I’m mostly just mad at myself for allowing Emil & Christian to sit on my TBR for as long as they did! I have no one to blame by myself for this one, and they did NOT disappoint. Like not a single part of this book was imperfect. And I’m so happy. 🥹

This was my first Emmy Sanders book, and I will be returning to the rest of the boys soon! I know a lot of you said to read Malibu and Tink, but I think I’m going to take it from the top and dive face first into these books like it’s my full time job 😂

Emil AKA Felix is an exhibitionist. He is obsessed and I mean OBSESSED with the thought of people watching him get it on with himself or with others. Which is why he does it in a safe place, at the studio. For the camera. He can’t be risking his future with a criminal charge. That is until his naughty, secret neighbor catches him from across the street one day.

Christian who is later known as Vixen is a beautiful, confident, strong femboy. He loses his job and gets recommended to Elite 8 Studios by a friend. This is where he realizes his new coworker is the one he’s been watching through his window for months.

I was NOT expecting for their relationship on and off the camera to be so SWEET. Yes, Sweet. The purest, most beautiful love. These two had me highlighting whole damn pages of quotes. You wouldn’t think a Crab Daddy™️ Exhibitionist / Porn Star and a Toppy Femboy who’s never had a relationship would be so darn CUTE. But here we are. The most unlikely of pairings but it just WORKED. Beautifully.

I was completely taken by their love, their story, the SPICE (of course! A couple of these scenes will live RENT FREE 🧠) but mostly just by the beautiful way they supported one another and built each other up.

I couldn’t have asked for any more than this book gave. It was wonderful. And I’m so glad I’ve finally been introduced to the Elite 8 Boys. 🎬💚

 4.5

Stop everything because Christian and Emil were all adorable! I liked their story, both together and individually, they make a great pair, and I loved that. Emil's (Felix's) personality was everything I expected and more: a calm guy who enjoys being seen. Yes, believe it or not, I liked that part because he wasn't ashamed of that aspect of his life, and he finds his counterpart in Christian: a person who understands him. Their relationship started well; I appreciated that they didn't overthink being together and how they supported each other in their passions outside of the Elite 8 Studio.

One thing I enjoy about this series is how drama free it is, although it has serious themes and they are well covered, they are light reads and this book is no exception. Seeing how all the boys of the Studio treated Christian and didn't react negatively when they found out the two were in a relationship was what I liked the most. Without a doubt, this series has become a favorite, and I just want to read thousands of pages about these characters.

📌 I received an e-arc, and this is my honest opinion/review of it.

I love a good voyeur story and I love how Emmy Sanders creates not only a perfect voyeur situation, but also engineers a meet cute and a co-workers to lovers trope out of the same couple! I also love that Felix has so much more going on than his Elite 8 studio work, making his work there completely by choice!

In terms of Christian, I love his passion for fashion and his courage to create outside the binary clothing and how the author weaves this into the storyline!

I've loved every single one of the Elite 8 Studios books, but honestly I think this one is my new favourite!

Oh what’s that? A porn star romance made me cry? Typical.

I literally loved every single thing about this book - the couple, the development, the smut, the side characters, every👏🏻 thing👏🏻

“My little exhibitionist. My beautiful voyeur.

Shy crab daddy, exhibitionist Emil and feminine, skirt wearing, boot stomping protective Christian are easily my favorite couple of the series. No notes.

5+ ⭐️ When the exhibitionist meets his voyeur, sparks start to fly, and it's one of the best rides I've been on! I hope this is not the end, cus this series is turning into one of my absolute favorites! Felix and Christian's love story is so good, so steamy, so cute and just everything I'm looking for in a book.
If you love cam boys, "meet cute", men in skirts, pet crabs, and the best found family, this is the book and series for you! I'm crossing everything that I have that we will be introduced to more members of the Elite 8-studios series, at least some more stories of the amazing couples we have been introduced to so far.

All hail the meet-cute of all meet-cutes 🔥

Oh how I loved this newest book in the Elite 8 series.

I’ve been intrigued by Emil since Virgin Hearts and couldn’t wait to get his story. I LOVED getting to know him and all his facets- shy and quick to blush but also.. an exhibitionist. Just an absolutely intriguing character. And Christian. Book boyfriend material, I’m telling you. Confident and sweet and hot as hades. Also.. a voyeur. These two characters are a match made in (kinky) heaven.

There were for sure some destiny elements with these two characters and I loved that they were essentially two loners being exactly what the other needed. I LOVE how this book put a twist on the porn star trope and utilized live filming. It made the chemistry between these two characters blaze, inferno style.🔥 As always, Emmy nailed the perfect mix of sweet and hot with this book.

His eyes lift to mine, mere millimeters separating the two of us. “Anything you want, Specs, I tell him, knowing it’s the truth. His request is simple. “Watch me. “As if I could look away.

“If this world really is chaos, he says, opening his hand to reveal a ring, “then you’re the most fortunate improbability I’ve ever encountered. I don’t want to spend a single one of my remaining days without you, Specs."

“What’s that saying? I ask, my voice sounding wet. “The husbands who play together stay together?

ARC FELIX, ELITE 8 STUDIOS, BY

👓 I knew I would enjoy Felix, This was incredibly fun 🙌🏻.

Obviously being a read about porn stars falling in love you expect lots of filthy smutty scenes…and yes this one definitely delivers on the smut 😮‍. Looking back through my highlights it was mainly the kinky stuff that caught my eye 🤣.

“ 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙬𝙤 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙨, 𝙄 𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙝𝙞𝙢. “𝙒𝙝𝙞𝙘 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙘𝙠 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙬𝙤 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙨.

There was also lots of cute fuzzy warm moments with Christian and Emil catching feelings. I loved the little dates they had, watching TV while cuddling and being crab daddies. They were super adorable together.

I loved the development between the two characters. Especially Emil, he goes from a shy nerd with lots of insecurities, to sticking up for his brother and being brave and open to his parents.

The other characters do appear and can still be enjoyed throughout. I’ve been a doughnut and I haven’t read the others in the series yet 🫣. You can still enjoy this as a stand-alone like I did, but after reading this one I will definitely be reading the others. Especially Alex/ Tink, I could tell he would be a fav of mine even from his small cameos.

“𝙋𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙚, 𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨! 𝙔𝙚𝙚𝙝𝙖𝙬!

So if you wanna read about an exhibitionist and a Voyeur neighbour, who end up working at the same place together .this one is for you.

No one is out here blending sweet and spicy better than Emmy!

Nondescript and nerdy, Emil Reed feels unseen in his day-to-day life. As a result, he’s carrying an exhibitionism kink that borders on pathological. Thankfully, he’s found a healthy expression for it in his work as Felix, a performer at Elite 8 Studios. One day, a self-care session in his new apartment leads to an accidental…performance…for his neighbor, and the pair begin an anonymous relationship of sorts. When the gorgeous and charismatic Christian Ducat is revealed to be his new scene partner, Vixen, AND his voyeur neighbor, it seems like fate. But Emil doesn’t believe in that.

First and foremost, these two are insanely hot together. Their chemistry is burning up the page, and these are some of the best exhibitionism scenes I’ve ever read. The way Christian provides Emil what he needs while keeping him safe is just so good, and I melted into a puddle of goo every time!

There is also no skimping on the characterization. Everything about these men, from Emil’s work in psychology to Christian’s confidence in blending gender norms, speaks truly to who they are. Christian is a protector, and the way he shows up for Emil is perfection. And he gives him a cute nickname? Stahp it!

I always love the way Emmy’s characters grow together and this was no exception. Emil and Christian might be my favorite in an already incredible series. I cannot recommend this book and the Elite 8 family enough. A must read for anyone interested in sex workers, found family, hurt/comfort, and a heaping side of kink!
