Lordddddd Rodion 😈😈 he's everything you need in a book boyfriend when he spots Ember video about Mafia men or masked men, and he's curious about her. He makes a video on the app she's on, and we'll he taunts her. Ember is like every booktok/tube girly talking about book boyfriends and is bantering with Rodion when he taunts her back.
I loved their banter she really didn't believe he was in the Mafia, and she ignored a lot of his messages thinking he was a troll. But the things he said the videos he posted made her not wanna block.

Then she learns the truth and honest she was scared for about 2.5 seconds, and she was more afraid of her stepbrother who came back into her life. We get drama, more spicy scenes, and them being a good couple. I really didn't like the older brother kinda glad I skipped book 1.

No ow/om drama (stepbrother), no cheating, slight secondary character, drama, sexy times, no virgins

What did I just read? This has got to be one of the worst Mafia romance books I’ve read so far and that’s really saying something. First of all, the female lead is a walking contradiction. She doesn’t know what she wants and even when she decides, later on she now doesn’t want it. The male lead is okay, the usual obsessed possessive man. Am I the only one who was underwhelmed??? Like where is the yearning? Where is the passion? All I got was confusion and smut.

RODION & EMBER!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This book had me all-in from the get-go. Hook. Line. Sinker.

Jane wrote this book flawlessly. From the characters, to the storyline, to the undeniable burning chemistry and how it played out and along with the plot. Jane merged all of it with impeccable plotting and it flowed beautifully.

Rodion and Amber were an absolute perfect match for one another in so many ways. The banter, push & pull, and hot-as-sin scenes (and not just those *ahem* scenes) it just added to the intensity of this book.

Let's not forget this is a MAFIA romance. There is no shortage of drama & action as Rodion is out to prove to his brothers that he's not the slacker they think he is.

I love this one so much more than the first & I'm excited to see what Jane delivers in the next books.

Highly recommended!!

This one is for all the dark romance girlies that wish they had a mafia book boyfriend IRL! 🖤
Thank you VPR for this ARC!

Ember is online constantly posting about her favorite dark romance book boyfriends. One day, Rodion comes upon her page and reads what she wants. He decides to start his own page without showing his face. He begins flirting with Ember and stalking her.

Although she should be afraid, Ember is definitely intrigued by the masked man online. After meeting Rodion, she gets to act out her fantasies online! He’s ready to make her his forever, but she has some baggage and won’t admit she wants him.

When the past and mafia interfere with their flirtationship, the two have to get married to protect Ember. Of course these two are in love and want to stay together forever, but they have to face the darkness first! I love that Ember is a romance reading girlie!

Definitely check this out if you liked Lights Out by Navessa.

“She doesn’t know it yet but I’ve already made her my target and I never, ever miss.

This was my first book by Jane Henry and oh what a delicious delight it was! Untamed is an unconventional mafia romance that’s morally gray and all the dreamy. It’s a fantasy come true.

What do you do when your book boyfriend becomes your reality? You pretend you’re the heroine of course. Ember is a strong and sassy social media influencer in the romance book world. Rodion is the hot, possessive alpha who’s in the Bravka. And did I mention masked man? Sign me up.

This love story ignites with fire and desire while delivering the sweetness, swoon, and some scary moments too. Untamed cast a spell on me. I couldn’t help but immerse myself into this Cinderella tale while reading. I fell head-over-heels in love with the hero and heroine, and their heart-hitting romance.

4.5 untamed 💋 kisses

Here is a direct quote "A book boyfriend come to life", this is exactly what this story is. Rodion is in California doing ... well whatever his brother has him doing. He ends up stumbling upon Ember, through social media, and from there he learns about OUR world. That's right ladies, the world of the book blogger, our world where there is talk about how hot it would be to have the perfect guy and the ways that he would .... you can fill in the blanks. This story was all of our fantasies brought to life, the Bratva guy that will do all the dirty things, and say all the dirty things, while doing Bratva things. This was an amazing addition to this series, and I give it 5 stars.

Dnf’d at 38% - I loved the first book in this series. This book doesn’t even feel like it’s written by the same author. The premise of the story had me intrigued. The FMC is a book girlie who gets the mafia guy in real life. The writing just wasn’t doing it for me. I don’t feel like wasting my time reading something mediocre.

Nope. This is why Kindle Unlimited is a game of russian roulette (pun not intended). What the hell did I just read (and why did I actually read through the whole thing and finish it?)

Not at all plausible and so much ick. In what world could this be romantic? Ew.

good read

I enjoyed this book. No breakups with the h/h. Their struggles come from 3rd parties. They stay strong together throughout the story. I love books like this. There is enough drama in the world, I read to escape that and don’t want to read about it so this book was perfect.

This was such a cute story! I know, I know - but it's about Russian Mafia Men - yes but they are extra loyal to their women and in this one a book social media influencer got courted (trapped) by her book boyfriend come to life. Best believe that man brought all her fantasies she put out on the web to life. He was quiet thorough with his research to say the least. I enjoyed Rodion and Embers story a bunch, it was just what I was looking for. This was such a fun, easy read! If you're looking for a big burly man with golden lab energy this is the book for you!

Brief synopsis: Rodion is a mafia enforcer who's been banished to California for screwing up one too many times (presumably for something that happened in book 1, but I haven't read it yet; will update if I do). He accidentally overhears some women gushing about mafia-themed thirst traps they watch on social media and he's both intrigued and baffled that his lifestyle is basically a fetish. He joins the social media platform to see what these girls are hyping about, and then he comes across the account of Ember, a book reviewer who talks about her favorite tropes (mafia romance, BDSM, various kinks). He becomes obsessed with her pretty much immediately. Unlike the accounts that seem "fake" to him, he thinks Ember genuinely craves the fantasies she posts about. So he decides to test the waters.

So right off the bat, you may notice, this premise is a lot like Lights Out by Navessa Allen. So much so that I wonder if it's not coincidence. And there's nothing wrong with that; a lot of romance books are derivative, especially mafia ones, and there's enough original content in here that it doesn't feel like a rip-off. In fact, on paper, I might even like this better than the plot of Lights Out. Unfortunately, the execution is where the books really are not comparable.

First off, the editing leaves a lot to be desired. There aren't many obvious typos or anything like that, but the narrative is sometimes repetitive, sometimes vague, and sometimes contradictory. Scene changes are not always clear. That kind of thing.

Then there's the formatting. Text messages and social media DMs are a big part of the book's plot, and there are a LOT of mistakes here. Mostly the Kindle version shows messages in the little bubbles like you see on a phone, but sometimes the text is all bold, sometimes only the sender's name is bold, sometimes none of it is bold, and sometimes there is no bubble at all, only italicized text. One time the code is visible. I sincerely hope the paperback version turned out better than this because if I paid $16 for a book with this kind of formatting, I'd want my money back.

Then there's the more substantial problem with the book, which is the antagonist. I don't think we ever learn exactly what Shawn did to Ember; a lot is implied, and some things can be inferred, but we never get any specifics. And I guess that's fine in a sense - like, if this were real life, we wouldn't be entitled to know everything about Ember's past - but this is fiction and we're reading Ember's POV. I feel like we should know more about her past in order to understand her. Even worse, there's a point at which Rodion implies that Ember has confided in him about Shawn, but that apparently happened off-page. Why? Additionally, Shawn is just not characterized. I don't mean that he's not well-developed; he's not developed at all. We don't get any sense of him as a person beyond the fact that he's bad and dangerous and Ember is scared of him. He barely appears on the page so he's more of an antagonizing force than a character in his own right. More confusingly, SPOILERS FOR REST OF PARAGRAPH for most of the book it seems like he's fixated on Ember specifically, but after he's been dealth with, we randomly hear that he's harassed and assaulted a bunch of other women, so I guess he wasn't fixated on Ember? There were no indications that he was a serial abuser or predator or whatever it is that he is (again, we don't know; the book doesn't tell us) so this comes out of left field. END SPOILERS

Finally, I have some petty critiques. Perhaps the most important one is that I don't think the author has ever, um, recorded video before. Rodion's videos are described as involving camera movements, specifically panning and zooming, and it would be impossible for him to do that without a second person or editing, and we know that he is filming these videos by himself and uploading the raw footage online. Another camera oddity: Ember lives in a studio apartment, but at one point she starts developing a roll of film . . . in her apartment? The narrative doesn't talk about her going anywhere, but if she can't fit a full-sized fridge or a stove in her apartment she definitely doesn't have space to turn her studio into a dark room. That was weird and completely unnecessary. Lastly, everyone who has read Crime and Punishment (which is referenced directly in this book) knows that the diminutive for Rodion is Rodya, and the only time we ever see a nickname for Rodion is when one of his sisters calls him . . . Rodi. I'm just so disappointed by that.

A slightly less petty critique is that this book pokes fun at mafia romance novels for being unrealistic without actually subverting any of the tropes of the mafia romance genre. Lampooning your own genre is fantastic and hilarious, but ONLY IF you do something different with your own book, and Jane Henry does not. The only difference between the in-universe "real" mafia guys and the "fictional" ones is that the "real" guys don't wear suits all the time. And that's all. Pretty much every other trope is represented here. It would have been really great if this novel had subverted mafia romance stereotypes in some way, but alas, it did not.

Bottom line: this is an okay book that is fun to read, but it's not nearly as good as Lights Out so maybe read that instead, or at least in addition.

MC: Ember (FMC), Rodion (MMC)
Setting: LA, New York, Moscow
Genres: Dark Romance, Mafia Romance, Erotic Romance, Romantic Suspense
Tropes: Forced Marriage, Alpha Protector, Touch Her and Die, Bad Boy/Good Girl, AntiHero, BDSM, Masked Men, He Falls First
Triggers: kidnapping, gun violence, familial abuse
Epilogue: Yes

Synopsis: Rodion is in LA on his brother Rafail’s orders. While there Rafail says he should look for a wife to bring back home. He gets intrigued from a book girly he saw in a video online. He starts messaging her after saying she is looking for a mafia bad boy, just like the ones in her books. After more online back and forth, Rodion tracks Ember down. He watches her in person, continuing to flirt and bait each other online, until finally calling her bluff and exposing himself to her. They formally meet, where Rodion teaches her self defense just in case he’s not with her. He knows about her stepbrother problem, and the potential threat he may pose. They agree to fake date to warn her stepbrother off. However, Rodion plans on making Ember truly his. He starts by playing out all her fantasies by bringing them to life. Rodion gets Ember to admit that everything between them is real. He takes her to a gala in New York, where she will meet his whole family. Upon arriving, Rodion and Ember are ambushed by his family at his apartment. His brothers are furious at Ember because she accidentally revealed their family’s location to their enemies in one of her book videos. Rafail gives Rodion an ultimatum of either killing or marrying Ember. As Rodion is in love with Ember, he decides to marry her because he knows he could never hurt her. He breaks the news and says they can be temporarily married until the heat on the family dies off. Ember also has to delete her book social media account. Rodion and Ember get married in a quick ceremony before the gala, only to find out her stepbrother followed them to New York. He manages to kidnap her from the gala, and not long after is tracked down by Rodion. He rescues Ember and kills her stepbrother. They move to Moscow, restart her book social media page, and find out they’re expecting.

Thoughts: This was such a fun read! The book definitely brought the spice and anticipation between our main characters. The beginning posts and DMs between Rodion and Ember were so funny and hot. I felt like one of their followers watching their online banter, except we had the inside scoop as the reader. They quickly became one of my favorite couples as the story went on. I think they both were able to finally let loose and be their true selves with one another. They had to have that comfort and complete trust in order to not only live out the book fantasies, but also risk living in the mafia world together. I thought Rodion had great character development, especially after getting together with Ember. She calmed him, and made him think about his actions more. It was tense when Rodion went up against his brothers regarding Ember, but glad he stood up for himself. He showed real vulnerability that I think they recognized and acknowledged. Otherwise, I don’t believe Ember would be alive and be married to Rodion. They made a great couple, and I loved the scene after the wedding where they talk and just veg out in bed. I agree with Ember saying hanging out like that is the stuff of dreams. Being able to just exist with no expectations is what most people covet in a partner.

Rodion & Ember
Hey guys, I just finished reading the second book in the Bratva Kings series, and I am still reeling! I mean, this book had everything - suspense, drama, romance, and plenty of steamy moments.
While it's technically a standalone, I highly recommend reading the first book before diving in. And don't even get me started on the trigger warnings - make sure you check those before reading. I was thrilled to receive an ARC for an honest review - thanks @janehenry and @valentinepr! Ember, the protagonist, is a book reviewer and influencer, which made this story feel super relatable.
So, the story follows Ember, a book reviewer and influencer who's obsessed with mafia romance novels. I mean, who can blame her? Rodion, the protagonist, is a fierce and lethal mafia man who's sent to California to handle the family's business.
Things get interesting when Rodion discovers a social media group discussing mafia romance novels. That's where he meets Ember, aka Dreammafiaqueen, and let's just say their online relationship is tantalizing.
Rodion is determined to show Ember what a real Bratva bloodline looks like, and Ember is intrigued by the mysterious masked man. As they transition from online flirting to real-life encounters, things get intense - and steamy! When their past and the mafia interfere with their relationship, they must get married to protect Ember. Of course, they're in love and want to be together forever, but they must face the darkness first!
I loved how Ember is a talented photographer and book blogger with a traumatic past. She's strong, independent, and beautiful, and Rodion is immediately drawn to her.
Their chemistry is undeniable, and I was hooked from the very beginning. Rodion is the ultimate book boyfriend - brooding, possessive, and passionate.
This book has it all - suspense, drama, romance, and plenty of steamy moments. I mean, @janehenryauthor took every book girl's fantasy and turned it into a bestseller.
Rodion and Ember are fire together, and every scene will leave you breathless!

Untamed by Jane Henry seized me by the throat (in the best way possible) and refused to let go until the final page. If dark, steamy romances with possessive anti-heroes who’d burn the world for their woman are your jam, strap in—this book delivers everything you’re craving and more.

Ember, a witty and relatable book-loving influencer, thrives in the fantasy world of dark mafia romances. But when her playful banter with Rodion, a dangerous Bratva anti-hero, spills into real life, fantasy and reality collide in the most electrifying way. Rodion is the embodiment of every mafia book boyfriend dream: possessive, protective, and unapologetically dominant. But what makes him unforgettable? That unexpected, soul-deep softness he reserves exclusively for Ember—a contrast that’s both swoony and dangerous.

Their chemistry? It’s off the charts. The push-pull tension between them practically sizzles off the page, and when Rodion steps in to make Ember’s darkest fantasies a reality, the result is pulse-pounding, five-alarm fire spice. The way their relationship grows, mixing fiery passion with genuine connection, had me utterly hooked. Add in high-stakes mafia drama, a few unexpected twists, and tension so thick you could cut it with a knife, and you’ve got a page-turner you won’t want to put down.

One of the highlights for me was Ember’s growth. She starts as sharp, funny, and fiercely independent, but the way she leans into Rodion’s world without losing herself felt authentic and empowering. Yes, the “marriage of convenience trope makes an appearance, and while some of the twists were a touch predictable, the story more than compensates with its intense pacing, gripping action, and emotional depth.

Bottom line: Untamed is dark, dirty, and utterly addictive. If you’re a sucker for mafia anti-heroes with a protective streak a mile wide, heroines who give as good as they get, and spice levels hot enough to melt your Kindle, this book has to be on your TBR. I’m already counting down the days for the next book in this series—though, I won't lie, Rodion and Ember have set the bar impossibly high!

What if all your darkest book boyfriend fantasies came true? Would you melt or would you run?

Ember is a social media book reviewer with a large fan base, and catches the eye of Rodion after he learns that there are actually women thirsting after men like him. Or at least the book version of men like him. He is instantly drawn to her, and can tell that unlike most of the others who only pretend to fantasize, she is the real deal. And some online banter, coupled with some real life stalking ensues.

This book can be read as a stand alone, even though it is second in the series, and actually part of a greater mafia related world. This author is known for some OTT men, heavy dose of misogyny, women who often claim to be bothered by it but ultimately willingly submit, and lots of steamy scenes that often include punishment and spanking. And it’s delicious.

I have to admit she was a little annoying at first. She came across as a bratty hypocrite. She was disparaging the male thirst traps as being pathetic and doing anything for views and attention yet she herself is a social media influencer. How is she any better? Then she spends quite a bit calling Rodion a poser, a stalker poser, etc. and when he calls her bluff she freaks out. (To be fair, I’m not saying it’s not that she didn’t have an appropriate reaction. I’m saying she called him a poser and then SHE proved SHE was the poser by reacting that way).

Bratvabloodline: I’m calling your bluff, little queen. And I already told you who I am.

My bluff? Dude you’ve got one thick head if you think for one minute that I’m actually entertaining any of this. It’s for show. In real life, you can fuck off

I knew I loved this author, so I pushed through the initial annoyance with Ember. And I’m so glad I did. It was briefly lived annoyance. He was deliciously obsessed with her, but in that “touch her and die way. In that “I have cameras in your apartment and biometric trackers making sure you are alive and safe kind of way. 😏 She was blessedly never a TSTL character, and there was no unnecessary drama or third act break up. Their initial online back and forth was steamy and of course when they got together it was 🔥🔥. I was underwhelmed by Polina’s book,so I was so so so glad that this one was so delicious.

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR

The Bratva Kings series is a spinoff from the Wicked Vows series. The story begins in California, where Rodion Kopolov lives there and takes care of the family's business. He will be asked by the bartender to watch out for a group at a bachelorette party from a man trying to hit on them—when he stops the loser, he hears phrases from the girls that have him doing a search.

“Oh my god, he’s like one of the book guys “Did you see those muscles? “He looks like the video mafia queen posted!

Ember Steel makes her living with her photography and photo shoots, and by being an influencer promoting books under ‘dreammafiaqueen. She has a huge following—and now has gained a new follower ‘bratvabloodline.

The story is an intriguing page-turning tale of two unlikely people finding each other—well, let's say that Rodion finds Ember. What starts out as videos and tête-à-tête evolves—a little stalkerish, but not dangerous. Rodion goes out of his way to take her fantasies and turn them into realities. The deeper they get the more they crave each other—and now the plan is to take her to New York to a Bratva gala.

Ember: What happens when they find out about me?
Rodion: You let me worry about that.
Ember: You think you can decide that? You can’t control everything, Rodion.
Rodion: Watch me. Let me make something clear. I’ll burn down the whole Bratva if it means keeping you safe. And as for you—you’re mine, Ember. You’ve been mine since the moment I saw you. So go ahead. Fight me. Push back. Tell me you don’t need me. But don’t think for one second I’ll let you go.

Rodion learns of Ember’s stepbrother, and can sense her fear of him—and he is determined to protect her from him. Going to New York will be a beginning—but one innocent action leads to consequences with Rafail and the Bratva, one that requires Rodion and Ember to marry.

“I believe you. I’m going to forgive you overstepping tonight, with one condition: make it better.

The story has the good, the bad, and the ugly of people. It is two people, who are attracted to each other—one helping turn book fantasy into reality. I liked Ember and Rodion together, and it was fun seeing other Bratva members from previous books. The preview at the end for the next book, Unveiled will be greatly anticipated.

Hot Mafia Book Boyfriend & Dark Romance Influencer = 5 🌶️Stars

Untamed is an addictive story with a thrilling storyline and relatable characters. It is the 2nd book in the Bratva Kings series. This is Rodian & Ember’s story. Untamed will have you obsessed with the story. You won’t be able to put the book down.
Ember Steele is a freelance photographer & dark romance influencer. She has had a hard life and has worked hard to be where she is. She finds her own book boyfriend. Rodion Kopolev is Bratva Enforcer. He is sent to the United States. While taking care of business for his family, he discovers Ember. Rodian is an interesting & morally grey character/person. He is loyal to his family and would die for them. He would do anything for Ember. They are perfect for each other. It was incredible to see Ember and Rodian find a special person just for them. They each have secrets and issues, but they support each other, nevertheless.

Jane Henry has a true talent for telling stories like no one else. Be ready to be immersed in the lives of the characters. The author has a way of making the characters relatable and believable. You root for them to find their HEA. Untamed has suspense, tense moments, secrets, love, intrigue, romance, twists and turns, great side characters, unique storyline, anti-hero, mafia families, banter, action, HEA, mystery, lots of drama, and all the feels. It is always great when some of the previous characters from the Wicked Vows series and the Kopolov family (Bravta Kings Series) appear in the book. I absolutely loved Untamed. I can’t wait for more books for the Kopolov family. If you love alpha males, feisty heroines, and suspense, then Untamed is a must read.

Untamed - (Bratva Kings #2)
A Dark Forced Marriage Bratva Romance
By Jane Henry

It’s all about the mask!

Riodon Kopolov considers himself the black sheep of the family. So maybe he makes a mistake or two. When his older brother Rafail took over the family Bratva everyone had lots to learn and Riodon wasn’t the only one whose made a bad decision. Right now though he knows what he is about to start is going to get him into so much trouble, but that woman whose videos call out to him to giver her everything she is asking for! I mean with the handle dreammafiaqueen he is sure as Bratvabloodline he can fullfill all of her wishes. Now he has to find out what her real name is!

Ember! A photographer by day with an sidehustle on one of the biggest social media sites is living a life that may help her get out of her crappy apartment. She has to be careful though, she is always looking behind her, because she has a stalker and although he has been quite the last little while she never knows when he will show up. But when a new follower starts making his own videos and responding to some of her videos and posts she’s not sure what to do. Is this new follower Bratvabloodline about to become another stalker or will he become her saviour.

When the flirting stops and the reality begins will the banter, the inuendos and the outright heat continue to build between Ember and Riodon? Will it bring them closer or will Riodon go to far to protect Ember.

I absolutely loved this story! The characters, the push and pull, the way Riodon is bound and determined to make her see they are made for each other had me cheering for them.

While reading this story it was like a video was playing along in my mind, reading the texts, reading how the private videos between them lead them to meeting each other. The steam builds and oh lord they are perfect for each other.

But there is still the other stalker out there and then there is Riodon’s brothers and cousin and now it’s real!

I loved this, the concept, the writing, the characters. Ember’s character growth is great to see as she learns from Riodon what to watch for and how to react and how she begins to realize that she may just have fallen in love with a man who truly is a member of a Bratva.

This is definitely a five star read from me! So much looking forward to the next book in the Bratva Kings series.

Holy smokes, Rodion is 🔥🔥🔥 and I am 🤤🤤🤤 and this book is 💥💥💥💥💥.

Rodion is everything I love in an MMC - he is Russian, mafia, a little bit stalker-y, and has a great sense of humor (his reaction to the popularity of shirtless lumberjacks on socials had me dead). The mirth and banter between him and the FMC Ember is *chef's kiss* and I was HERE.FOR.IT. (His character actually reminded me a LOT of Dom from SJ Tilley's Alliance Series, which I am obsessed with).

I also love that Jane Henry took FULL advantage of tying into the Booksta/Booktok trend currently giving the romance novel community life by making the FMC a book influencer. Ember was so relatable in so many ways for that reason - cherishing her books, savoring her reading time, romanticizing these alphaholes more than we collectively probably should (but who needs that kind of negativity? Not me).

I got this as an early copy, so there were still some typos and duplicate phrases/copy, but hopefully that will all work itself out in beta reads and edits before release - it's definitely not typical for this author and was only mildly confusing/distracting at some points.

Because these are interconnected with one book for each brother (and hopefully sisters and Matvei in the future *wink wink*), I would have liked to see Semyon have a larger presence in this book to lead into the next one, but it would have been hard to put him against Rodion since he takes up all the space in any room he's in with his big personality. And I did appreciate a better look at the dynamic between the Kapolev siblings, hoping to see more of that in future books.

The spice in this book was pretty good, I would say 4 out of 5 stars, and we didn't have to wait too long to get to it, which I really appreciate. I am not a patient reader, I need my spice pretty early in my books or I get annoyed.

Definitely looking forward to the next one and getting to know Semyon!

I'm so late on posting this review! But Here I am letting you know how much I loved this book! how I missed reading mafia books 🤭

This one is for us girlies. Let me tell you straight out of everyone book girlie fantasies.

Ember is a book influencer who love sharing her deepest fantasies about mafia mans. All of her her fans agree with her.

Our Bratva boy, Rodion had some business to attend in California. When he stumbled on a trending video of a girl who is talking about her fantasies to mafia trope books. He was intrigued. He wanted to play. He wanted to have some fun.

Little did he know after posting that video, he too would get much attention not only from Ember but from a lot of book girlies.

Their banter was so hot. He was becoming obsessed on showing Ember to be afraid on what she wishes for. Because he was ready to give it to her. Making her fantasies come to life.

HE sure did tho! He was a man of his word. He stalked her until he knew everything about her. Even where she lived. And when he showed up..

I loved the back and fourth Dms he only had eyes for her. He wanted her so he was going to make her his.

Too good to be true, our Ember girl had a horrible pass, with a certain someone who came back to her life and was making it difficult for her. But since Rodion decided that she was his. He took care of it.

This man was the book boyfriend come to life. He was perfection and unhinged. Deep down out girl knew she fell in love with him right away. She might have been scared but with him? she was safe.

I hope you pick up this book because it was made for us!

Thank you so much @valentine_pr_ for my early copy! This author is new to me and I can't wait to read more of her books! Thank you @janehenryauthor

⭐️5 🌶3.5 ARC review

Rodion Kopolov 🥵🔥🖤 What an incredible book! Jane is a new to me author and as soon as I saw the blurb for this I had to sign up immediately!

I loved the storyline of this - Russian mafia man sees a beautiful book influencer online, becomes obsessed and stalks her - masked man style - and then then goes full THAD as he protects her from her past? Yes please!!! This book had me hooked straight away. Right from the first chapter I was instantly immersed in the cat and mouse beginning. Their banter and teasing is next level, and the online messages and videos to call the other out were utter perfection - I have never highlighted a book so much before! I was gripped!

I loved everything about Rodion. A true Bratva mafia man but give him the sweet and sensitive side of the cinnamon roll men we love so much. He certainly had the THAD vibes down pat, boy is seriously obsessed and will not stop until every threat to Ember is extinguished. He’s funny too, he has a real cheeky side and a wonderful teasing sense of humour with great banter. AND the whole “I’ll be your every masked man stalker fantasy come to life thing? 🥵🔥😍🙌🏻 I couldn’t get enough of him.

Ember Steele is such a fiery one! She’s not afraid to talk back and fight for herself, she will stand her ground but also submit in a second and I loved that! She fully admits that she wants to be looked after and controlled but also needs to hold the power. She’s strong, funny, passionate and kind, making her FMC perfection to me.

I honestly couldn’t put it down. It was absolutely enthralling - the suspense and drama caught me! The pet names were exquisite- Bratva boy being my particular favourite! I really loved this book - Jane’s writing style is brilliant and flows so well. I look forward to the next in the series!

I first fell for Rodion when i met him in Unleashed ,the first book of the Bratva Kings Series. In the second book Untamed, we get to see more of Rodion. He’s unapologetically himself. He’s flirtatious, reckless and ruthless. As an enforcer, he does the jobs that need to be done. He first sees Ember online promoting a book. He’s fascinated the minute he sees her. He wants to get to know her. Ember is an influencer who promotes mafia romance books and a freelance photographer. When he slides into her DMs, she is curious about him. They begin with flirtatious banter through public messages and private. Rodion is determined to see her in person and she thinks it’s all innocent. When he finally meets her, she intrigues him even more. Ember is feisty in person and never backs down.

They have chemistry the instant they meet. She day dreams about Bratva men who are possessive and take control of everything. The tattoos, the muscles, the danger, it’s everything she fantasizes about in a book boyfriend. However what happens when the fantasy becomes a reality? She finds that out when she finally meets Rodion. He is everything she dreams of in a book boyfriend. He might want to portray the bad boy she day dreams about but he has secrets that can’t be revealed. Secrets that are dangerous. Ember herself has secrets of her own but when she needs help, she turns to Rodion. Of course it will be at a price. Will she pay it?

Jane Henry had me laughing my ass off with the online messages between them. Even though many moments were funny, she also had me feeling for Ember with what she is going through. Also, Rodion may be a strong Bratva soldier but we also get to see his vulnerable side. He is always trying to prove himself to his family, especially his older brother. He shows Ember what it truly feels like to protect someone. I’m glad we got to see the whole family throughout the book and can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I’m so excited!

This was my first book by Jane Henry, and seriously, I feel like I have been missing out. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Rodion and Ember's story. First of all, where can I find me a man like Rodion? Maybe not all the Bratva parts, but I'd definitely some of them are right up my alley. I definitely need someone like him in my life. I easily could be one of those girls ogling his thirst trap videos. Second, I am so jealous of Ember! It's not fair that she gets to live out her fantasies for the whole world to see and read. I really hate her 😂. But seriously, I really enjoyed reading this book. Their banter back and forth was so entertaining to read, and I loved every minute of it. There were moments where my heart broke for Ember. What happened was not directly stated, but you could figure it out based on what was said and her reaction to certain things. For anyone who's ever gone through this, male or female, I sincerely hope that you find the strength, the courage, and the support to get out, seek help, speak up, heal, and to move on with your life, not letting it negatively impact and define your future. Sending you all my love ❤️❤️. Other than those times there were plenty other moments that were just amazing to read from beginning to end. There is drama, love, friendship, family, danger, blazing chemistry, steam, and so much more. I love when the plot and characters really pulls me in to where I feel I'm personally invested in their romance. So now, I must go back and read book one of the series so I can be ready for when book three comes out. And while I'm waiting for book three, I'm going to go read the rest of Jane Henry's books so I can be all caught up on all the love and the drama.

Ohmigod! Every morally grey man obsessed, dark romance loving bookstagram/booktok girlie needs to read this book! It’s literally THE fantasy come to life and pure fire on every page. As long as the fantasy is picking yourself up a mask wearing Bratva boy who stalks you, is OBSSESSED, possessive, shamelessly uses your booktok and his thirst trap videos to grab and hold your attention, turns your body to molten lava with every touch and every book scene he acts out with you, means it when he says touch her and die, defends you to his Bratva family and then wife’s you up saying it’s temporary and for your safety knowing he’s lying through his teeth because you are HIS and he’s never letting you go. If any of that is your fantasy, this is the read for you and I promise you it WILL leave you a satisfied, giddy mess of satisfaction by the end!

Get this book! Even if having your very own morally grey anit-hero isn’t your fantasy the way Jane Henry has taken that fantasy and turned it into a story that cannot be put down makes it a must read. It’s brilliantly written, has what feels like a plot within a plot as the booktok thing plays out but there’s also all the Bratva stuff going on, an actual stalker from Ember’s past making an appearance, and when the fun part is over and the fantasy crosses into reality the decision of if you’re really okay with what it means to know and be associated with anything in the mafia. It’s heavy on the tension and so freaking hot, has that only for her softness that just melts you, big family meddling, and just executes every single aspect of the story perfectly making it hands down one of the easiest book recommendations I’ve ever made.
