The iconic work of Jim Henson birthed some of the most beloved stories and characters of all time. Celebrate that rich history with this anthology of all-new tales set in the worlds of Jim Henson, from an incredible line-up of creators including Shannon Watters, Cameron Chittock, Jill Tew, and more!
An anthology series, so a mixed bag. Fragglerock: Beauty in the Pie of the Beholder is a cute fable about finding value in all the gifts given, not just the ones wanted. Farscape: Last One There's a Rotten Food Cube is the weakest story, beginning and ending no where. Dark Crystal: The Heretic and the Wanderer, this is the most interesting, a multi-parter. In the Age of Resistance series, we're introduced to the Heretic and Wanderer already living together in the desert, this story is their origin.
I enjoyed the art style of this issue a lot! Especially for The Dark Crystal one; not only did the art slap but the reimagined story was great as well. Fraggle Rock had a christmassy tale, it was pretty charming overall. The second story (farscape? I forget already oops) didn't connect with me too much since I'm not familiar with the source material. Either way I'm excited for issue #2 in February!

Three fluffy stories set in the worlds of Fraggle Rock, Farscape and The Dark Crystal. I thought this was supposed to be a one-shot but The Dark Crystal story was too be continued so apparently there will be more. The art in The Dark Crystal story can be hard to follow, especially the conflict at the end.
Overall, I REALLY enjoyed this! I'm a sucker for anything Jim Henson related so this was right up my alley. Especially because of Farscape. That being said though, I was a bit disappointed that the Farscape art was a bit all over the place. :/ Still a fun story though. All 3 stories were super fun!
