Sweet Surrender is the third in the A Small Town Christmas Romance series, but it could be read as a standalone. I highly recommend to read it if you like that warm hug that only a pleasant story can give you.
Becca Hawthorne is the new Sugarville Grove's 2nd grade teacher, she came from the city and she is really excited to have the chance to teach her own class. Zane Lawrence is a farmer and the single father of twin boys, he doesn't like change so he doesn't trust his boys new teacher's ideas. Will Zane learn to be more flexible getting to know Becca better?
I adored the enthusiasm that Becca puts into her work, she always wants the best for her students and she is unafraid to express her ideas. I liked Zane in all his grumpy, emotionally scarred self. At times he comes too strong defending his stable and unalterable life, but also in those cases he puts his sons welfare first and when he realises he is wrong he apologizes without any problem.
I've enjoyed the dynamics between Becca, Zane and the boys. They are so lucky to come into each other lives, and, little by little, changing them forever.
Clara Pines made an awesome job with this festive and endearing story, these loveable characters, and this cozy small town.

A delightful feel good story of how busy people with established ideas for their lives can be blind sided by love. Becca is a teacher every parent would be thrilled to have teaching their child. Zane is an amazing single dad whose sons want their teacher, Becca, to marry their dad and become their mom. The twins characters are well developed and help make this story so delightful. A most enjoyable read.

Zane Lawrence a single dad to seven year old twins a dairy farmer for his sins. He has a lot to learn when it comes to the kid’s new teacher. He thinks he’s about to teach her that he knows what is best for his family and she shouldn’t interfere , even though a good sort she is it’s quite clear…besides the fact that she is a pretty young thing that if he let her she’d make his heart sing he’s sure because if this is love he wants more�.Whats in store for Becca she cannot foresee ,this infuriating single dad is a mystery ,his twins she can cope with but it’s the dad she dare hope with when teaching an old dog new tricks . He’s so stubborn and doesn’t want to be fixed that way. Does she have a chance to sway him someday to her way of the world of education. Does she have ideas above her station ? It seems that Zane thinks she does and wants not to discuss but in the same breath she takes his breath away. She is new to the school ,he’d be a fool to ignore their rapport when she opens the lines of conversation. A wonderful Christmas romance ,because why not Sugarville Grove has a lot to offer this single dad and his potential lover . If he just gave hope a chance to come on in out of the cold. If he makes a step so bold out of his comfort zone he must stray. And Santa this Christmas time gives him his day ,his helping hand to see him on his way to shout yay from the rooftops because Becca Hawthorne,the thorn in his side he eventually feels he can abide to be near and he opens his heart and that’s worth a cheer. In anyone’s book these two are in love and it’s one to be sure of as she loves his children as much as their dad and that’s a whole lotta happy ,not sad. Great writing as ever by this author Clara Pines whose stories always spell a good time.

It’s her dream and she left all of her family behind for it. First Thanksgiving and Christmas without them. Now she just has to prove to everyone she is good at her job. As she teaches his twins, Zane and the boys show her around town. Zane and Becca seem to have chemistry. Neither are looking for a relationship, especially Zane after the twins mother up and left right after they were born. Becca doesn’t have the time either. Can they resist each other? It’s not good to date a parent of her student. All Becca really wants to help his sons and bring out the best of each one. Will there be Christmas magic and miracles happening? Anything is possible with his family and his sneaky little boys who would love to see Becca with their father. They just love her and want to be a family. She can’t help but fall in love with Zane and his precious sons. Will they become a family? What will they townspeople think? Will the school allow it? I was rooting for this couple and those precious boys who deserve a mother. Worth the read. The characters are amazing. I received this book for my honest review. I give it voluntarily.

Becca is the new teacher and has always felt it was a calling. When she meets the two Lawrence twins, Cal and Nick, she falls in love with their bond and realizes they are better together. Soon, the job and kids aren't the only things she finds herself falling for.
This was such a sweet romance, and I loved it. The twins bring a special and cute something extra to these pages. They bring innocence and warmth. They make the dynamics fall into place in the cutest of ways. In this story, you get a good mix of town history and a little drama. Learning about Sugarville Grove is what ultimately brings Becca and Zane together, that and the teaching and understanding of two precious boys.

Becca has moved to Sugarville Grove to teach elementary school and have a regular class rather than bouncing around classes as a substitute. Zane has twin sons, one of which will be in Becca’s class. As the days continue, Becca has more interactions with Zane. She suggests both boys become students in her class as she feels both will do better together. Zane agrees but then when the other teacher claims to catch one of the boy’s cheating on a test, Zane decides they should go back to separate classrooms. Zane’s wife left him soon after the twins were born so he doesn’t feel like he is a good person for her. But the two still find themselves together from time to time. Although both try to keep things between them friendly, they keep finding that there are deeper feelings. Can these two work through their issues? A lovely, touching story of people who are trying to determine what their relationship will be. Loved this sweet story.

Sugarville Grove: Becca and Zane
I absolutely love this series! It’s all about second chances and how to overcome insecurities and past hurt to find where you are meant to be. This book about Becca and Zane is my favorite so far. We see from the very beginning how much each of them loves Zane’s two boys and how each of them would do anything to make sure the boys were happy and thriving.
Becca being their teacher and fighting for what’s best for them and showing everyone just what they are capable of and the boys knowing how special she was and trying to match make her with their Dad is so very sweet.
I absolutely love their story and their ending. I look forward to seeing what’s next for them. Hopefully a baby of their own some day. Maybe a little sister for the boys. This is such a sweet little town and I can’t wait to see which Lawrence gets their happily ever after next.

I enjoy single parent stories, add in that it is set around Christmas, my favorite holiday of the year and the small town of Sugarville Grove and for me it was a win all around.

Sweet Surrender is the third instalment in Sugarville Grove series and what a fantastic delightful heartwarming addition it was! Set in a small town for Christmas holidays with a community that supports their own, great place to start fresh with the new beginnings and new friends. Becca is the new second grade teacher who loves teaching and kids and would do anything to help them get to their full potential. I wish I had such amazing teachers. She falls instantly in love with the incredibly adorable twins Cal and Nick who are sons of Zane, the single father, farmer with a great big family who support them.
When Becca comes into picture something unexpected happens between them but circumstances are against it or are they really? It’s an absolutely must read! Well written story amazing characters and such great setting. What’s not to love?

Zane is a single dad of twins. He has a good life with his sons and his wonderful family on their farm. He doesn't need anyone coming in and turning his world upside down. So when the new school teacher comes in with her big ideas, he does what any dad does and puts his boys first and his heart second.
The characters are well written. Realistic road bumps make the book easy to relate to. Supportive family members help you feel like you belong in Sugarville Grove as well. And what a place to be.

A sweet story that has one wrapped up and ends up with a pretty bow. Becca finally dream of being a teacher has come true, she finally has her own class but it’s in the small town of Sugarville Grove. Not given much notice and before the Christmas holidays she is determined to make a good impression with her 2nd grade students. One of the first students she met were adorable twins and Cal is in her class. She also met their father who happens to be a single dad that is very protective of his sons.

Another beautiful Christmas read from Clara Pines with lots of love and affection and just a warm happy vibe with the Lawrence family and the new school teacher in Sugarville Grove, Becca. I love the community spirit and how everyone in this small town is friendly and always looking out for their neighbours. Becca and Zane have undeniable chemistry but with Zane being a single parent his first priority are his two boys who ultimately end up in Becca's class and the friendship grows into a beautiful love. I absolutely enjoyed this book and all the characters and I am so excited to read more in this wonderful series.

This delightful story has clean romance, likable MCs and super adorable twins.Ìý Becca is very kind and caring, and she feels that teaching is her calling. Zane is a farmer who has been raising his twin boys alone since their births, but luckily he has had the help of his huge family along the way. They are attracted to each other at first sight, but Becca is the boys' teacher and Zane has to overcome the past trauma of his wife leaving him. The secondary characters are just as wonderful, while the writing is top notch and easy to read. I'm really enjoying the Sugarville Grove series so far.

Another wonderful heartfelt story in this series. I love the setting of Sugarville Grove during Christmas. This book had me from the first page. Zane's twin boys Cal and Nick were a delightful bonus to the book. They have such strong personalities, but such kind hearts. The Lawrence family already had my heart stolen, but this book just reenforced it. I loved Becca. She loves her job as a teacher, but you can easily see it's more of a calling. I loved how she fights for her students. Need more of that in the world. Zane and Becca were adorable together. This is definitely a make you feel good romance. It delivers on all the feels!

I love this little town. Sugarville Grove is a great place to visit while curled up on the couch with a warm beverage.
Zane is an amazing hero and perfect for Becca � until he’s not! When things go wrong, Zane shows just how imperfect the perfect man can be while still making you love him.
I loved the conflict in this story. The way Becca held to her convictions and did what was best was so encouraging.
The Christmas element is just a setting that’s almost over shadowed by the story. This book can be enjoyed any time of year.

Excellent romance with lots of smiles and happiness. Becca is a young school teacher who has been a substitute teacher for awhile. She's been hoping to receive a full-time job with her own classroom. She's been offered a position to teach second grade in the small town of Sugarville Grove. Zane Lawrence is the parent of twin boys who are in second grade. You'll love reading this as the story unfolds for happy endings.

You can’t help but think “Hallmark� when reading Zane and Becca’s story. Becca truly has a HUGE heart and wants nothing more than to make a difference in the life of the children she teaches. The fact that Zane’s boys just happen to be two of her students makes for a very interesting read. I also love stories that have dual POV so this helps the story take on another element. LOVED how these two end up finding their HEA-so sweet!!

They seem to be meeting each other more often in town, maybe with a little help others? But when a crisis arise with the twins, will Zane be able get past that and get his HEA with Becca. Can Becca help the twins and Zane. This had all the sweet feels in a romance book. I loved it and am ready to read the next book!

The relationship between them moved slowly, but was a sweet and amazing love story. I loved the twins! They were delightful! Sweet Surrender is a sweet, delightful story full of love and family. This is such a heartwarming story. It shows that love wins. When you have twins, that you're raising on your own, you feel that your focus needs to be on them. Dating isn't an option because, can any woman truly love active twin boys?

This sweet, heartfelt romance gave me all The Feels and had me really feeling the love. The chemistry and attraction between Zane and Becca were undeniable and their banter irresistible. The twins were cute and all together you just couldn't help caring about them all and wanting only the best for them.

I loved this story. I liked that Becca watched to see what was happening with each of the children in her class so she could make a difference. Comparing her to Encyclopedia Brown was great. I loved this story. I liked that Becca watched to see what was happening with each of the children in her class so she could make a difference. Comparing her to Encyclopedia Brown was great. Sweet Surrender
This was a really sweet story about a new teacher finding her way. She always really wanted to be a teacher and took her children serious. She had one of a twin in her class and the other was in another classroom. She discovered a problem with the boys. Enjoy this great story.
