After absolutely loving Red & Wolf series, I don't know what happened here. This one just didn't work for me. Too many questions unanswered left, too many subjects not touched for me. I know these are short parts of serial, but when you put them together, I would like to have some interesting story.
Beast is not running the shit in prison anymore, he is taken to solitary and Bella is thrown outside. She is waiting and waiting and waiting for 70% of the book, for a chance to help him. There comes a chance so she goes to rescue, and then everything else is packed on those last pages. Just too much at once for my taste while the beginning was slow and uneventful.
I know it's based on a fairy tale and doesn't have to be realistic, but come on, what is wrong with you people? Are you crazy? There was a hit on Beast, they were in danger and all they thought about was banging. When you add to it that he was drugged while being kept in solitary, it was just bleh...
When your man comes down from high and is clearly sick...
You don't jump his bones...

He must have smelled real nice, hmmmm.... But hey, they took care of it, they went to take a shower afterwards and had more sex! The guy could barely walk but could fuck as hell, wow! a real BEAST.
Not to mention protection, which Beast didn't use. It was hard not to notice, I would be a little scared if I were Bella. After all, he said himself that he slept with countless women. But well, I guess she was right. "When it comes to this man, I'm an IDIOT."
I'm not sure if I'll go with next instalment, but I'm curious how the author will deal with ending this story, pretty tough nut to crack IMO.

Beast, Part III is the continuation of Cal Hammond ‘Beast� and Annabelle ‘Belle�. Let me first say that I loved the first two installments of this serial. I thought they were both great. I love Beast and Belle as characters, but unfortunately this one just fell a little short for me. I’ll still be reading the next one and I’m hoping that she’ll end it with a bang!
I think the main problem for me in this particular installment that there wasn’t enough going on in the beginning, but the end felt like too much. I think it can be hard to rate certain installments of a serial when you haven’t finished. I’m hoping once I read the final installment, things will be a little more clear.
Beast books have been sexy, erotic, a little dark and mysterious. This one was a tad bit heartbreaking at times. I enjoy Ella’s writing style and she can write some crazy hot scenes. We still have so many things that need to be revealed and I’m anxious to see how Ella is able to tie everything together and how she will conclude Belle and Beast’s story. I have high hopes it will be a great read for me like the first two were! Thankfully, the wait won’t be too long!

3 Confused Stars.
This third installment, albeit the hot steam, brought us a lot of twists, some of them confusing, some of them completely unnecessary.
I’ve got to say that this was definitely my least favorite installment, so far, precisely because it felt like too much drama, some of it pretty unrealistic (and considering this book is based on a fairytale it’s saying a lot!) and I’m still a bit confused on the direction this is taking.
Nonetheless, I really I want to see how this ends for them.

And I'm out...
This installment wasn’t very good and pretty disappointing. Once again the author had a chapter titled with the wrong pov, while the story line was preposterous. The author had many areas in this story to dig deep (dying mom and little sister) she never taps enough into this area.
Belle is all sorts of horny for Beast and feels she is the one to save him from a hit to take him out within the correctional facility. The conspiracy against Beast by the revealed DA and his connection to Beast’s accident is convenient and eye rolling.
Belle goes to rescue Beast and does she make a dash for it with him in laundry cart or something? Nope they have sex and then shower sex? All the while Beast could be taken out at any point and he's throwing up from coming off drugs.
This installment does end with a bang but I’m out on this series. I’m still wondering where is the Gaston of the story?
Good luck for those going on I hope the final book (due on September 22) is a big win for you!

I can't believe that after ABSOLUTELY LOVING the first 2 installments in this series, this one was just "Meh" for me.
So...what went wrong?
1) There were so many issues left untouched. Like where is Beast's family now? What happened in Beast's trial years ago? Wasn't Belle supposed to be called as a witness or something? And how was it for Belle to grow up with a drunk drug-addict of a mother? How does she feel now that she is left with a little sister and a cancer-ridden mother to look after? And so many more... I mean I get it, this is a novella, but I need some:
2) Is Belle a sex-addict or something? Get a grip girl! Beast can be a gorgeous sex-god, but just stop acting like a teenager for a minute and be a grown-up for once! There are men coming to kill Beast. He has been in solitary for a month now and is throwing up & shaking because of the drugs leaving his system. Belle has the pass code to open any door they want. THEY CAN ESCAPE FROM THAT HELL AT ANY TIME. But no, they have sex instead. Then they have sex again. And then again.
OMG...the stupidity. Belle, sweetie...
...if it'll help with your rapidly dropping IQ points.
It's true, I've done a pretty good job at life for the most part, but when it comes to this man, I'm an IDIOT.
See? She knows. I agree Belle, baby, I definitely agree.

First thing first..
I still can't believe it! After enjoying the Beast part 2. turns out part 3 was a gutter read for me!!
First of all. i was really disappointed with this book's plot. there was so much going on. the author literally threw every events at the same time!!. and there was a chapter which had a wrong POV.
As we know by now. beast was taken from his cell. turns out behind this all conspiracy is a DA.(Robert Ryan), and guess what?
Uma(the girl that was with beast the night they got into car crash) is the DA's granddaughter!!
Second Did i mentioned how much i'm hating Annabelle right now??
She plans to rescue beast.
"I've done a pretty good job at life for the most part. but when it comes to this man. I'm an IDIOT"
will you said it yourself belle. But don't worry all she end up having sex with him on multiple times!! Seriously

I'm a huge fan of the series, but sadly this installment didn't work quite as good as the rest ones did, for me.
I love Belle and Beast but after the ending of the previous book i hoped for something shockingly huge. Of course this one ended with a big Bang, literaly, but still.
Not that this part was sparse of good scenes and promising details, but in my opinion it went too far with the constant sexual acts that only helped in delaying the storyline from unravelling.
I wanted to see more, i needed to see more. It only left me in a limbo, wondering. So many things that left unsaid, so many ways the story could go.I guess i have to read the next one to find out what will happen..

I had a hard time with this installment. I wanted to like it, but until that very crazy, anxiety inducing ending, I was really unimpressed. Sad, since the first 2 were so good.

Belle is bound and determined to get to the bottom of what is going on at the prison, what is happening to Beast. But getting information, when everyone is shutting her out is turning out to be nearly impossible. Good thing this prison is just a wee bit corrupt.
We were left with a big cliff and it takes us a bit to get to the part of the story where Belle & Beast are reunited (in a way). During the start of the story, you see a bit more of Belle and her struggle... but it left me really craving getting to the part when she’d see him again. Then it happens, she gets in and then it felt like I was on the edge of my seat up until the last word. I needed more, even one more page would have satisfied me.
Where the first two parts of this story were more possessive and erotic, we were given a glimpse into Beast and his guilt. The man he became because of his actions and the struggle in accepting whether or not he could ever find a way back to who he used to be.
Ella James is my newest pusher. She is feeding me these little novella series installments like crack and I am jonesing for more. Thank goodness the wait for part four is not too far away.

Not an easy read.
This was a difficult book to read and a difficult book to review, I didn't like this book but I was glued to every page, although in all honesty there weren't that many of them, I'm just glad I waited until all the books were available since I wouldn't have coped well with waiting for the next one.
I complained that the balance between story and sex was off in the last book but that's been corrected here, we're given loads of bits of information but not enough to see the whole picture, I know that's what the last book's for but it's annoying. This was a frustrating and depressing read and in that respect I was glad it was so short now I can go straight on to the final book where hopefully I'll get the happy ever after that I want.

Another good book in the Beast series. They are short and not as much sweet as intense. Angel/Annabelle is still trying to figure things out for herself, her sister, and her mother is still hanging on. Beast is still trying to hang on to the fact that he is Beast and only Beast not Ricardo or Cal the guy Annabelle remembers. He is stripped down to what he needs to survive in prison and he is trying to hold on.
All in all a good read with a few minor grammatical errors (which many books have now so it doesn't bother me). Worth a read and it was a quick read.

it isn't going to allow her to stand by and let whatever will happen to him happen. Maybe, along with her feelings for him, Annabelle fights for him because it's something she can control? There are so many things in her life currently that she can't control, from her mother's illness or its impact on her little sister. With Beast, she can try.
Beast - it hurt to see him so defenseless, vulnerable, and beaten. That his captors would prey upon his nightmares the way they did was disgusting. They played upon his guilt and remorse making him more sick with guilt than he already was. At this point, just as with the night of the accident that began his nightmare, he needs his angel.
The new players introduced add another layer to the complexity of this story. I'm intrigued to see how the game will play out.

solo yeah.. I just read the final book which gonna be out soon, but I have no idea how its gonna end in one book... I feel like there are many loose ends to be tied in one books... well lets see... ;)

I loved loooooved the first two books, but this one... It just it was like in between book because the story haven't moved that much you just waited for the big finale at the end...

I can't help but think that I need the final part to really appreciate this one. I didn't feel glued to this one until the final pages of the last chapter...
Belle was in the prison as Beast was taken away in Beast II. She finds her way back into the prison's solitary cell to warn Beast that the Juarez has a hit on him. Beast was all ready aware of this, they fuck repeatedly and he tries to send her home so that he has a fighting chance without a distraction. As the door opens, the asshole DA, Robert Ryan is there... Belle becomes this sudden bad ass, Ryan's blood is shed, Beast is intact and they run...

Oh dear, not quite sure what just happened, but this kinda dropped a notch. The first half felt like a re-telling with just slightly more details and the 2nd half felt a bit crammed. I suppose the heat is still there but it felt a little out of place, I'm just a lil confused, that's all.
But hey, in the end Ella did manage to raise my heartbeat with the events at the end. And although I'm not rating this as high as the first 2 in the series, I'm still definitely looking forward to the conclusion of this series. Oh yes! So bring it, Ella!=) (pretty pls, with icing on top)

When this series first started, I hated Beast. I thought he was a complete asshole, and unredeemable. Now, I actually love him. I felt so bad for him in this book. Poor guy with everything he went through. I also enjoy seeing Annabelle grow as a character. Throughout the three books, she has earned my respect. Ella James writes a fantastic story. I am quickly becoming a fan of her writing. The clifhanger at the end was insane. I can't wait for the next book to find out what happens next.
