It is the kind of book that transports you, each story has its own atmosphere and can stand completely on its own and yet within the scheme of the book it gains a bigger and much more layered meaning.. the writing is definitely good, however you might find yourself rereading some of the details not just to absorb the imagery completely but to be able to comprehend the story as a whole and not get lost.. the book is rich with faces and places that you might think you actually know but that will also add a new something to the way you saw them before.. my personal favorites were "噩丕賱丕 噩丕賱丕" "毓氐賷乇 亘乇鬲賯丕賱" "兀爻賮丕乇 丕賱噩亘賱 and "乇爻丕卅賱 亘賷鬲 丕賱乇賲丕賳"
Finally done with the book why 2 stars? (Which is generosity from me) First star for the langauage and I mean the amount of vocab the author have and although also for the grammar which was correct (although there were spelling mistakes but I guess it was from the publishing house) Second star for the clear and distinctive division of the book. It was not haphazard. Finally the book was trying so much to be perfect that it missed the mark and for me failed to connect and it created barriers.
