King, the one with the scarred face is considered strongest hero of them all, but when he comes across a Demon Treat Level danger the truth behind is legend is revealed, nit that Saitama is all that interested in it. Saitama the man who wants to be a hero just for fun, the One-Punch Man is now solidly in hi space with the creative team truly establishing him by now. The fight scenes are still hard to understand in detail, but the long-form plotting is now seemingly here to stay and makes it that more an interesting read. A solid volume still, 7 out of 12, Three Star read.

Volume eight seems like it¨s finally starting to get more of a plot that will progress throughout the rest of the series, which gives me hope that this series will soon become less repetitive. Most of the series (including this volume) generally includes the same type of plot: Saitama goes about his ordinary life then defeats a villain in one punch. It was super exciting for this first few volumes of this series, but it gets a bit old after a while. However, it seems like there is now a solid organization that may be the main villain (at least for this arc) and Genos now has a villain he¨s determined to destroy because of his past, so I¨m looking forward to seeing how those two villain plotlines progress.
With this volume, I personally found the bonus stories at the end more entertaining and funny than the main story. The cat rescue operation one was especially memorable and super cute.

What is King's big secret? Muahahahaha, ah well, he IS great at video games, too. :)
This volume is pretty solid, often funny, and a good setup for things to come.

The jokes are still nice, but One-Punch Man volume 8 feels like 'a transition book', a stepping stone for further development of the story, so 3 stars only.

Wow, this month has been great for reading so far (of course now that I say that the rest of this month is gonna suck isn¨t it? S***)!
What¨s it about?
In this volume the story starts off with Saitama meeting a hero (King) who¨s considered the strongest hero in the world... but he might not actually be that super.
Why it gets 5 stars:
The story continues to be fun, crazy and interesting.
The art is amazing! The art in this series seems to get better and better!
The action scenes are great. Very exciting, frequent and bloodier than expected for any fans of bloody kills in their comics.
This series continues to be very humorous. I laughed quite a bit while reading this.
The characters are still interesting.
This book is never predictable in it¨s crazy fun.
There¨s some nice messages that are very inspirational in this volume!
One of the bonus stories at the end of this volume involves some cats that are freaking adorable! ? Mew!
Overall:
This volume is great. I absolutely love this series, it¨s great for fans of superheroes and comedy. Highly recommended!

Actually, this story is pretty ordinary, but the dark comedy always makes me laugh out loud. For example, the character "King" turns out to be just a dumb guy who loves playing PlayStation.
What's also interesting is that, for some reason, this series is incredibly addictive for me.

Fun! Boom, boom time with Saitama and Genos!

This volume is a breather, a sort of intermission between the loud bangs of Onepunch Man. Saitama is here yet his action scenes are almost nonexistent, save for some short sequences. Instead, we see more of Genos action and for the first time, see the main motivation of him being a hero.
This volume also introduces to us an expanded world of the OPM universe: underworld guys and a cyborg organization. The old oracle prophecy is still there, spelling doom to the world and we are yet to see its commencement, perhaps after an arc or two.
Volume eight may be relatively quiet, but it doesn't tell One Punch Man is slowing down. In fact it is revving up for another explosive series of stories.

King ? I didn¨t see that revelation coming. What a joke. And that new guy from the underground looks like trouble. Bonus chapters are my favorite part, as always.

Hilarious. I love Saitama interacting with other heroes because he just doesn¨t give a fuck.

The tension was greatly softened up in this volume, which is understandable when we've just went through a mega big event. But this story arc around S-class hero King was shockingly hilarious. It was also nice that they introduced some little hints of what's to come, especially for Genos and that secret organization.

A decent volume, the King stuff was fun but the cat stuff not as much. I think the funny part of this series isn't as funny as it used to be, so means less interesting for me. Overall decent.

This is a shorter volume that come after the momentous events of volume 7 and serves to focus more on other characters within the Hero Association. As always this is also a commentary or criticism of how people often judge a person on the look and not the substance. The guy on the cover is suppose to be one of "the strongest man in the world," but that title was given to him by the public and not ever sought out by him. We learn through this volume the real truth...
There is also some funny side-stories to go along with as well, but this volume is mainly serving to transition to the next story arc.

Molto interessante la storia di King e l¨upgrade di Genos. Nessun combattimento mi ha colpito in particolare, ma la trama continua a catturare il mio interesse e la personalit┐ di Saitama mi sta insegnando ad affrontare il mondo, anche le piccole cose, con uno spirito diverso.

Good morning and it's One Punch Man manga continuation, LOL.
So It's King's time. I thought he was really that strong, LOL. Also it's so funny he loved that Romance Simulation..
I just love Genos. "He claims your place as strongest man in the world." My gosh what a loyal disciple!! I love their relationship as master and disciple. It's just so cute.
Kings moment in the toilet is just funny. See. Being a fraud really gets you somewhere, and that includes regret.
Lol, Genos fighting and then Saitama just being there standing, asking if he needs help. LOL. So cute.
LOLL Saitama showing up on King's flat is so hilarious!!! LOLLL.. And king so good at video games than his job as a hero, LOL... And he even pee on his freaking pants from that freaking bird. Well I saw this on anime and I knew a bit about King but just saying something about the current manga am reading.
Then now he realize the person who always save him is Saitama. Saitama is such a humble person, gosh!!!

A comic about a guy who wins every fight with just one punch. This volume introduced King. There is a lot of good character development in this volume. The search for the lost kitten story was the best story in the volume. If anything this Manga comic is getting better.

4.5 rounded up! This volume was super fun. Love seeing Sonic again and King is an interesting character! I'm also excited to see what Garo does, and if he will be an actual threat
