Todav铆a hay veces que uno se sorprende a causa de sus prejuicios, este es el caso. No entraba ni de lejos en la categor铆a de libros a los que suelo acercarme y, sin embargo, tengo que confesar que me gust贸 mucho en su momento. Le铆 casi de una tacada este intercambio de e-mails que es el relato y cada pausa que tuve que realizar en su lectura 鈥攗no tiene que seguir trabajando, comiendo, durmiendo...鈥� era un fastidio. Lleno de amor y de humor, la novela pone de manifiesto el enorme poder que tiene la palabra, algo que aqu铆 todos podemos corroborar. Una gran sorpresa y un gran placer.
Seguramente de haberla puntuado en aquellos tiempos en los que lo le铆 le habr铆a dado las cuatro estrellas, pero pasados los a帽os tampoco es que me haya quedado mucho m谩s poso que el recuerdo de una lectura adictiva e ingeniosa.

Es una historia bastante original, escrita 铆ntegramente en formato e-mail. Es un tema muy actual, y la relaci贸n de los protagonistas bien pudiera estar sucediendo en este momento en miles de hogares por todo el mundo. Me gust贸 mucho su estilo, fresco y din谩mico, de lectura r谩pida e interesante. Los sentimientos est谩n muy bien descritos.
Contrariamente a lo que opina mucha gente, no creo que sea necesaria la lectura de la continuaci贸n, ya que el final de la primera deja abierta la imaginaci贸n del lector, y eso seguramente sea mejor que descubrir el desenlace previsto por el autor. De hecho, muchos la han le铆do y se han sentido defraudados. Yo, por si acaso, me lo pensar茅.
PD: Efectivamente, la lectura de la continuaci贸n me dej贸 claro que deb铆a haberlo dejado con la primera.

Liebesromane sind nun wirklich nicht das Genre, in dem ich mich oft aufhalte, aber dieser schlagfertige Liebesdialog in Form einer Mailfreundschaft hat mich absolut umgehauen. Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, dass mich ein Liebespaar in einem Roman jemals so sehr gepackt hat wie Emmi und Leo.
Durch einen Tippfehler in der Adresszeile ger盲t eine Abonnementk眉ndigung von Emmi zuf盲llig ins Postkorb von Leo Leike und statt das Missverst盲ndnis in ein paar nette Worte aus dem Weg zu r盲umen, antwortet Leo s眉ffisant, reizt Emmi zur lakonisch Antwort und nach ein paar weiteren Mails hin und her haben die Beiden sich in die Worte des Anderen verliebt. Sie bekommen sich gegenseitig nicht mehr aus dem Kopf. Bl枚d nur, dass Emmi eine Familie hat. Das Ganze erinnert an die Briefwechsel aus der Romantik, die ja auch oft schmachtend, humorvoll und eloquent waren. Dem Autor gelingt es hervorragend, dieses klassische Form des Romans in die digitale Neuzeit zu transportieren mit allen Vor- und Nachteilen. Der Dialog wird so oft zum n盲chtlichen Schlagabtausch und die Rasanz, mit der Mitteilungen versendet werden, l盲sst es fast zu einem Echtzeitgespr盲ch werden. Allerdings scheuen die Beiden ein Treffen, das allen Zauber der blinden Erotik zunichte machen k枚nnte.
Wir sind in unserer Welt so arg visuell gepr盲gt durch Medienkonsum. Der 盲u脽ere Schein spielt immer eine gewichtige Rolle. Ein Roman, der bewusst jegliches Bild und Ton eliminiert und dabei nur die Macht der geschriebenen Worte zwischen zwei Menschen wirken l盲sst, ist einfach v枚llig ungew枚hnlich f眉r die Gegenwartsliteratur. Ich selbst habe eine langj盲hrige Mailfreundschaft mit einer anderen Frau und meine Frau mit einem anderen Mann. Beide nichts Erotisches, aber trotzdem etwas sehr Bereicherndes. Wahrscheinlich waren wir deshalb beide so begeistert von dem Buch, weil wir uns gut in die beiden Protagonisten hineinversetzen konnten.

Durch einen Tippfehler in der Adresszeile ger盲t eine Abonnementk眉ndigung von Emmi zuf盲llig ins Postkorb von Leo Leike und statt das Missverst盲ndnis in ein paar nette Worte aus dem Weg zu r盲umen, antwortet Leo s眉ffisant, reizt Emmi zur lakonisch Antwort und nach ein paar weiteren Mails hin und her haben die Beiden sich in die Worte des Anderen verliebt. Sie bekommen sich gegenseitig nicht mehr aus dem Kopf. Bl枚d nur, dass Emmi eine Familie hat. Das Ganze erinnert an die Briefwechsel aus der Romantik, die ja auch oft schmachtend, humorvoll und eloquent waren. Dem Autor gelingt es hervorragend, dieses klassische Form des Romans in die digitale Neuzeit zu transportieren mit allen Vor- und Nachteilen. Der Dialog wird so oft zum n盲chtlichen Schlagabtausch und die Rasanz, mit der Mitteilungen versendet werden, l盲sst es fast zu einem Echtzeitgespr盲ch werden. Allerdings scheuen die Beiden ein Treffen, das allen Zauber der blinden Erotik zunichte machen k枚nnte.
Wir sind in unserer Welt so arg visuell gepr盲gt durch Medienkonsum. Der 盲u脽ere Schein spielt immer eine gewichtige Rolle. Ein Roman, der bewusst jegliches Bild und Ton eliminiert und dabei nur die Macht der geschriebenen Worte zwischen zwei Menschen wirken l盲sst, ist einfach v枚llig ungew枚hnlich f眉r die Gegenwartsliteratur. Ich selbst habe eine langj盲hrige Mailfreundschaft mit einer anderen Frau und meine Frau mit einem anderen Mann. Beide nichts Erotisches, aber trotzdem etwas sehr Bereicherndes. Wahrscheinlich waren wir deshalb beide so begeistert von dem Buch, weil wir uns gut in die beiden Protagonisten hineinversetzen konnten.

I don't know where to start to explain you the whirlwind of emotions I experienced last night reading Love Virtually.
But let's rectify something right now...
Who decided to just change the original title of this book? It was called in German : "Gut Gegen Nordwind : Good Against North Wind" And this makes so much more sense!
A little while ago I asked for a book recommendation here on 欧宝娱乐, I wanted to know if there was possibly a good book out there with a very specific theme : long distance romance, email or chat correspondence.
A Goodread user answered me :
"Are you kidding? There's no romance in email, txt, or 'im chat'. Anyone who would even try to write a 'romance' with those elements would be a laughable author, at best. Try this (A. S. Bratt "Possession"), instead. Stay authentic! "
I obviously was not "kidding" at all. I met the father of my son 14 years ago this very same way.
And let me tell you it is very authentic, it was very romantic, we wrote to each other for 3 years, long emails, letters and phone calls. Romanticism can perfectly lives within virtual electronic ways, rest assured.
Is Daniel Glattauer a "laughable" author? Absolutely not! He is a genius.

It all started with Emmi, trying to unsubscribe from a magazine with an email which lands by a fortunate mistake in Leo's email box.
Are you deliberately ignoring my attempts to cancel my subscription? If you're trying to offload more copies of your rag which, let's face it, is gradually going down the drain, I regret to inform you that I'm not going to pay another cent!

It didn't take me long to be hooked, the third email from Emmi's just set the tone of what would be one of the most brilliant and clever dialogues I have ever read between two people. It was just like reading over Emmi and Leo' shoulders, witnessing their mutual discovery of each other.
Leo had me with his first one... I quickly fell in love with his character.
You want woerter@like.com. You're the third person who's sent me an email trying to cancel their subscription. It must be really a shocking magazine.
They both pretty quickly develop feelings toward each other without really crossing a virtual line, Emmi is a "happily married" woman after all...
But that doesn't stop her staking claim of her virtual soulmate... She just can't stop herself, it was really comical AND sad considering the situation...
The whole book is written in email format, no narration at all. I just completely overlooked the fact that no descriptions to their surroundings where given, focusing on their exchange, waiting for one of them to feed me crumbs about their lives. Daniel Glattauer just made it work! I couldn't put this book down!
I still don't know where I am going with this review, weighting the pros and cons to tell you what is going to happen, or let you enjoy the discovery of their corresponding.
I just told some friends I would never recommend this book to someone I care about, just to spare them the trouble of having their heart ripped open.
If you know me, you should know by now that I hate giving out what is happening in a book unless you read it.
I love to experience every little details personally, which is why I often overlook a blurb and try not to read reviews beforehand.
I think you have here an answer to the above, I would HIGHLY recommend EVERYONE to read this book.
Love Virtually left me in a hot mess of feelings, it's one of the best romance book I have ever read.
Why? Maybe because I have a story with corresponding by email to some stranger that you can't live without. Yes, I met my Leo in very similar circumstances. My own virtual soulmate.
I invested myself a tad too much in their story, but the author did not exactly left me a choice here. You cannot NOT wish for Emmi and Leo an happy ending. I was mentally screaming for them to meet and declare their love.

I was really intrigued by the idea of this book: a modern epistolary novel written only in e-mails, exchanged between a man recovering from a year-long relationship and a - happily? - married woman who know each other only in the virtual world. A modern topic, with all those internet dating sites and with platforms where people form relationships with others based merely on internet profiles. Besides, Daniel Glattauer has been highly acclaimed by the Spiegel magazine and has written columns for my favourite newspaper, the Standard, which was a recommendation of its own for me.
Unfortunately, I intensely disliked the characters - seudointellectual, whiny, over-sensitive - the kind of people who claim to write an e-mail in half a minute while the style of the epistle is convuluted and artificially selected and in no way natural or fresh.
In favour of the book: it's an extremely fast read, and it kept me mildly interested in the outcome until the slightly surprising end.
So one star for the initial idea, and another one - though not a very bright one - for the construction of this m茅nage-脿-trois.

Einen Stern bekommt es, weil ich es wenigstens in einem Rutsch durchgelesen habe, aber sonst kann ich nicht allzu viel Positives dazu sagen. Zwei so unsympathische Hauptcharaktere mit derma脽en bescheuerten Problemen habe ich schon lange nicht mehr erlebt.
Ich wei脽 nicht wen ich unsympathischer finde - Leo, den selbstgerechten, viel zu sehr von sich 眉berzeugten Professor, der immer alles besser wei脽 und (nat眉rlich) immer Recht hat - oder Emmi, die aus unverst盲ndlichen Gr眉nden hysterisch und anstrengend wird und die das fleisch gewordene Manic Pixie Dream Girl ist.
Ich dachte eigentlich, dass ich mich gut hineinversetzen k枚nnen w眉rde, weil ich ebenfalls schon viele enge Freundschaften (und auch Liebschaften) online kennen gelernt habe und manchmal monatelang mit jemandem gechattet habe bevor man sich wirklich richtig gesehen hat.
Aber das lag dann meistens an fehlenden M枚glichkeiten weil besagte Personen eben nicht um die Ecke wohnten. Aber dieses sture "Nein, auf keinen Fall wollen wir die Illusion zerst枚ren" Gewese von Leo ging mir ab der H盲lfte derma脽en auf die Nerven, dass ich mit dem Augenrollen kaum noch hinterherkam.
Auch war es f眉r mich unsagbar deutlich, dass das Buch von einem Mann geschrieben worden ist. Emmi lebt praktisch nur daf眉r von Typen (und besonders nat眉rlich von Leo) bewundert zu werden, in jeder zweiten E-Mail von ihr geht es darum dass sie darum bettelt, ja f枚rmlich HECHELT, dass er ihr doch bitte sagen soll wie er an sie denkt, wie er sie sich vorstellt, ob er gerne mit ihr schlafen m枚chte. *Augenroll*
St盲ndig behaupten die beiden sie seien sich so unglaublich nah - SO NAH - aber das ist alles tell und kein show. Wo bitte tauschen sie denn mal ansatzweise aufrichte Emotionen aus, die nicht vollkommen versteckt sind hinter geschn枚rkelten S盲tzen und dem krampfhaften Bem眉hen witzig-ironisch-unger眉hrt zu sein? An keiner einzigen Stelle.
Ihre gesamten Mails bestehen aus Gl眉ckskeks-Weisheiten auf Brigitte-Horoskop-Niveau, die sie mit so viel Selbstbewusstsein zusammens眉lzen, als ob sie was wirklich Bedeutsames von sich geben.
Au脽erdem ist es mir beinah unvorstellbar, dass sich zwei Menschen meines Alters (ja, ich bin 35, also genau in der Mitte der beiden) so lange beim Vornamen anreden und dann immer noch so steif siezen w眉rden??? Ich meine - was? Wer macht das.
Wenn das wenigstens in ein ansprechendes Dom/sub-Szenario eingebettet worden w盲re, h盲tte es f眉r mich Sinn gemacht. Aber so wirkte es einfach nur aufgesetzt und gestelzt.
Wie viele Menschen meiner Generation siezen so hartn盲ckig jemanden, der NICHT zuf盲llig ihr Vorgesetzter oder Kunden/Patienten/Klienten sind sondern jemand im gleichen Alter und auf Augenh枚he? Antwort: Kein Mensch!
Also so vieles an dem Buch hat mich gest枚rt, aber die Selbstgerechtigkeit, die aus jeder Zeile trieft, am allermeisten. Leo und Emmi finden sich einfach mal SOOO toll.

A modern, witty, comedy-of-errors look at just what happens when two people connect through a series of accidental email exchanges.

It starts in an unexpected, but not completely uncommon manner.
Emmi, a happily married woman, sends a few e-mails to a subscription service with the intent of unsubscribing to a magazine.
By chance, these e-mails inadvertently somehow always manage to end up landing in Leo Leike's inbox.
And thus begins a daily exchange of conversation filled with witticisms, simmering romantic tension and the sharing of inner most longings between two people who are, in essence, virtual strangers to one another.
As with most people who meet online, the inevitable subject of meeting each other outside the virtual realm crops up. Will they meet? And if they do, what happens when the reality isn't as grand as the web-spun fantasy?
Is Emmi really prepared to risk her marriage? And what if Leo can't reconcile fantasy Emmi with real Emmi?
What happens then?
Many readers have said this, but if you're a fan of David Nicholls's work (particularly One Day, which happens to be one of my all-time favourite reads), then you will love this epistolary novel by Austrian author, Daniel Glattauer.
The entire book is written in e-mail format and is a fast-paced, witty and wonderfully relatable novel which was translated to English by Husband and wife duo Jamie Bulloch (Leo's voice) and katharina Bielenberg (Emmi).
I must confess I wasn't sure what to expect when I started reading this book, but the easy, relaxed writing style (so reminiscent of what most of us would sound like on e-mail), won me over pretty quickly.
Daniel Glattauer has a way with words and writes such fabulously snappy, clever dialogue that you can't help but wish that you were on the receiving end of any one of the e-mail responses conducted throughout the entire novel.
There's an immediate rapport between Emmi and Leo, who each, seem to try and outdo each other in the sharp, spunky, quick-witted comeback stakes.
That there's a virtual chemistry becomes apparent pretty quickly, but with that online attraction, comes a whole new set of emotional issues, jealousy, insecurities and harsh accusations which stems from the fact that the two of them haven't met face to face.
Strangely enough, the roles seem to be reversed and Leo seems to be reluctant to meet, while Emmi, despite the fact that she's happily married (or so claims to be), is dead keen on meeting the face behind the E-mail based persona (Somehow, I've always thought that women are more reluctant to meet their online "friends").
I thought that Glattauer was pretty accurate in his portrayal of how easy it is to make assumptions when you're not face to face with someone and adeptly showcases how people become trapped in their own perception of what they think is being said as opposed to what they're reading.
He drives home the fact that reading people online is no easy feat and that what people perceive as being real, could be the opposite of what they've initially thought.
It's this that makes the characters so interesting.
Both are not without their flaws; Emmi especially tends to be abrasive and jealously possessive, while hypocritically enough, often refuses to open up about her family life. In fact, Emmi reminds me a lot of Emma from One Day, who was also not all that likeable.
Leo, on the other hand, is often restrained and selfishly persists in holding on the image of the fantasy Emmi that he's carved in his mind.
Yet, for all that, there's an inherent likability about both of them; two lost souls, who accidentally discovers what it means to be virtual soul mates. But how that translates itself into real life and whether they actually end up meeting is something you'll have to discover for yourself.
What I can say is that you should be prepared for a few unexpected twists and an unexpected ending that leaves room for a sequel, which I believe is already in the works.
It's a wonderfully addictive novel which can be read in one sitting, and which I believe will appeal to everyone who has ever tried and succeeded and tried and failed at the online dating game.
You may probably end up inevitably feeling like you're invading the intensely private and intimate liaison between two illicit lovers, but don't let that stop you from reading what I consider to be one of the most cleverly written and incredibly romantic (despite the virtual settings) novels of this year so far.

Caro Sig. Glattauer, le ho mai raccontato di quella volta che mi era finito il caff猫, e la vicina di casa non ne aveva?
A parte gli scherzi, partiamo dall'inizio: la storia.
Al giorno d'oggi, l'amore nato su Internet, non 猫 sicuramente una grande idea, nel senso che adesso 猫 diventato eccezionale innamorarsi incrociando il proprio sguardo per la prima volta in un bar.
Eppure, cari i miei lettori, nonostante le mie premesse sul caff猫, io sono una tipa romantica. 脠 difficile a credersi, ma 猫 la pura verit脿. 霉_霉
Ragione per cui, nonostante la trama non si possa dire originale, ho preso questo libro, confidando di leggere un vero e proprio codice cavalleresco di altri tempi, solo adeguato all'evoluzione della tecnologia. Ess矛, perch茅 in fondo, le e-mail, che cosa sono se non le vecchie care "epistolae"? E a tutti 猫 capitato di inveire contro le nostre nonne o mamme, quando abbiamo scoperto che le loro lettere d'amore.. no, non le hanno conservate "..Perch茅? Che le tenevo a fare? Ah, per貌 erano bei tempi, tuo padre/tuo nonno, mica s'addormentava sul dondolo come adesso!", quando noi invece, avremmo voluto immergerci nella loro storia d'amore fatta di parole, allusioni.. e niente pi霉. Era questo il bello!
Perch茅 猫 questo il sapore che io volevo ritrovare in questo libro.
Peccato che Lei abbia voluto impacchettare la storia con una carta da regalo surreale. Per carit脿, scritto benissimo, ma decisamente insipido. 脠 matematicamente impossibile che una corrispondenza del genere si possa svolgere in questo modo ai tempi nostri. Cos矛 forse la terrebbe mia mamma oggi, con la mentalit脿 di ieri.
Dai, Glattauer, ammettilo, ti sei mantenuto troppo sulla favola.
Il mistero di non volersi conoscere ci stava tutto, ma due persone normali dopo tre e-mail, avrebbero ad esempio gi脿 incominciato a darsi del tu, in modo naturale, senza forzature, senza per questo apparire dei volgari e loschi personaggi che sporcano la storia. Invece tu hai voluto forzare la mano. Questi due poveracci si danno del tu, appena a fine libro, giocano a stuzzicarsi e a lanciare sassetti, salvo nascondere immediatamente la mano, per non farsi scoprire e per paura di perdersi appena il gioco si far脿 veramente serio. Tutto bellissimo, per貌 non puoi allungarmi questo benedetto balletto da gambero per tutto il libro.
E la trovata dell'amica di lei? Vogliamo parlarne? No, non parliamone perch茅 c'猫 gente che non l'ha letto, e non mi piace fare recensioni spoiler.. comunque ti dico solo che era assolutamente inverosimile e lontana mille miglia da come potrebbe andare nella realt脿.
Adesso tu dirai, caro il mio Sig. Glattauer: "Ma i libri, non 猫 che sono dei documentari, i libri servono per far evadere, i libri ti fanno sognare".
E no!!! Qua ti sbagli.
Perch茅 dipende dalla base su cui decidi di impostare un libro.
Se mi avessi raccontato di due che si incontrano nel subconscio di una seduta spiritica, e si ritrovano a condurre un m茅nage 脿 trois con la medium, pur di far continuare la loro storia d'amore, ecco, io ci avrei "creduto" fino alla fine, perch茅 saresti partito da una premessa poco plausibile per raccontare l'impossibile.
Ma qui utilizzi una base che ormai 猫 alla portata di tutti, perch茅 tutti abbiamo conosciuto gente su Internet, tutti ormai ci siamo fatti i nostri segreti pensieri sulla vita di uno sconosciuto su cui ci siamo imbattuti per caso sul web. E quando hai delle premesse del genere, le possibilit脿 sono infinite, ma escludono categoricamente che la "gestione" di una storia eterea e delicata, nata in questo modo , si possa svolgere come l'hai descritta tu.
Unica nota di merito: l'ultima pagina. La fine pi霉 o meno me l'aspettavo cos矛, ma mi hai sorpreso lo stesso. Secondo me 猫 perch茅 non sapevi come continuarla o farla terminare. Per貌, sta di fatto che mi hai sorpreso. Anche se ridurre un libro a cinque righe di merito, per di pi霉 in ultima pagina, 猫 riduttivo, lo ammetterai anche tu, no?
Ti do tre stelline per lo stile. Scrivi bene. Una maestra, nella tua pagella potrebbe scrivere: "Il ragazzo ha delle buone potenzialit脿, che ahim茅, sfrutta solo a met脿."
Quindi, che le devo dire ancora, caro Sig. Glattauer? (recupero il Lei, dopo essermi abbandonata senza accorgermene a darle del Tu per met脿 della recensione)

Ragione per cui, nonostante la trama non si possa dire originale, ho preso questo libro, confidando di leggere un vero e proprio codice cavalleresco di altri tempi, solo adeguato all'evoluzione della tecnologia. Ess矛, perch茅 in fondo, le e-mail, che cosa sono se non le vecchie care "epistolae"? E a tutti 猫 capitato di inveire contro le nostre nonne o mamme, quando abbiamo scoperto che le loro lettere d'amore.. no, non le hanno conservate "..Perch茅? Che le tenevo a fare? Ah, per貌 erano bei tempi, tuo padre/tuo nonno, mica s'addormentava sul dondolo come adesso!", quando noi invece, avremmo voluto immergerci nella loro storia d'amore fatta di parole, allusioni.. e niente pi霉. Era questo il bello!
Perch茅 猫 questo il sapore che io volevo ritrovare in questo libro.
Peccato che Lei abbia voluto impacchettare la storia con una carta da regalo surreale. Per carit脿, scritto benissimo, ma decisamente insipido. 脠 matematicamente impossibile che una corrispondenza del genere si possa svolgere in questo modo ai tempi nostri. Cos矛 forse la terrebbe mia mamma oggi, con la mentalit脿 di ieri.
Dai, Glattauer, ammettilo, ti sei mantenuto troppo sulla favola.
Il mistero di non volersi conoscere ci stava tutto, ma due persone normali dopo tre e-mail, avrebbero ad esempio gi脿 incominciato a darsi del tu, in modo naturale, senza forzature, senza per questo apparire dei volgari e loschi personaggi che sporcano la storia. Invece tu hai voluto forzare la mano. Questi due poveracci si danno del tu, appena a fine libro, giocano a stuzzicarsi e a lanciare sassetti, salvo nascondere immediatamente la mano, per non farsi scoprire e per paura di perdersi appena il gioco si far脿 veramente serio. Tutto bellissimo, per貌 non puoi allungarmi questo benedetto balletto da gambero per tutto il libro.
E la trovata dell'amica di lei? Vogliamo parlarne? No, non parliamone perch茅 c'猫 gente che non l'ha letto, e non mi piace fare recensioni spoiler.. comunque ti dico solo che era assolutamente inverosimile e lontana mille miglia da come potrebbe andare nella realt脿.

Perch茅 dipende dalla base su cui decidi di impostare un libro.
Se mi avessi raccontato di due che si incontrano nel subconscio di una seduta spiritica, e si ritrovano a condurre un m茅nage 脿 trois con la medium, pur di far continuare la loro storia d'amore, ecco, io ci avrei "creduto" fino alla fine, perch茅 saresti partito da una premessa poco plausibile per raccontare l'impossibile.
Ma qui utilizzi una base che ormai 猫 alla portata di tutti, perch茅 tutti abbiamo conosciuto gente su Internet, tutti ormai ci siamo fatti i nostri segreti pensieri sulla vita di uno sconosciuto su cui ci siamo imbattuti per caso sul web. E quando hai delle premesse del genere, le possibilit脿 sono infinite, ma escludono categoricamente che la "gestione" di una storia eterea e delicata, nata in questo modo , si possa svolgere come l'hai descritta tu.
Unica nota di merito: l'ultima pagina. La fine pi霉 o meno me l'aspettavo cos矛, ma mi hai sorpreso lo stesso. Secondo me 猫 perch茅 non sapevi come continuarla o farla terminare. Per貌, sta di fatto che mi hai sorpreso. Anche se ridurre un libro a cinque righe di merito, per di pi霉 in ultima pagina, 猫 riduttivo, lo ammetterai anche tu, no?
Ti do tre stelline per lo stile. Scrivi bene. Una maestra, nella tua pagella potrebbe scrivere: "Il ragazzo ha delle buone potenzialit脿, che ahim茅, sfrutta solo a met脿."
Quindi, che le devo dire ancora, caro Sig. Glattauer? (recupero il Lei, dopo essermi abbandonata senza accorgermene a darle del Tu per met脿 della recensione)

Dieses Buch ach dieses Buch...
Ihr wisst nicht wie sehr ich die Charaktere in diesem Buch gehasst habe. Sie waren so nervig. Ich schw枚re meine Augen haben so weh getan, weil ich die ganze Zeit die Augen verdreht habe. Wenn es nicht f眉r die Schule w盲re, h盲tte ich das Buch nie freiwillig zur Hand genommen.
Fangen wir mit unsere liebe Emmi an 馃榾. Eine Frau, die verheiratet ist und wie sie schon sagt "Gl眉cklich" verheiratet ist, aber trotzdem mit einem anderen Mann, den sie gar nicht kennt schreibt bzw flirtet. Sieht ihr, unsere Protagonistin ist ja ein sehr gutes Vorbild 馃ぁ. Ihr Charakter ist null, ich meine ich habe ihr Humor gar nicht gemocht. Ihr Verhalten f眉r eine verheiratete Frau ist gar nicht gut. Ich habe versucht sie so verstehen aber nein sie ist ein hoffnungsloser Fall. 馃ぁ馃敨
Und jetzt fangen wir mit unser lieber Leo an 馃榾. Wisst ihr was mich so sehr an den Typen st枚rt? Er wei脽, dass Emmi verheiratet ist aber er macht mit seine schei脽 Emails weiter. Ok ok wir wissen, dass Emmi dumm ist aber Leo m眉sstest du auch so dumm sein? Bei gott als er gesagt hat, dass er mit der beste freundin von Emmi geschlafen hat wollte ich das Buch verbrennen aber ja ich hab das Buch aufs Handy gelesen und mein Handy k枚nnte ich ja nicht f眉r so ein Typ opfern, oder?
Zusammengefasst l盲sst sich sagen, dass das Buch ein BULLSHIT ist. I mean literally ein bullshit! Mir hat Bernhard ein bisschen Leid getan. Der typ hat das alles gar nicht verdient. Das Ende hat mir aber gefallen obwohl es ein fetter cliffhanger war, aber sie hat es sowas von verdient. Ich glaube ich werde irgendwann mal das zweite Buch lesen und sehen wie deren schei脽 Geschichte weitergeht.

Es ist so, meine Freundin hat mit ein TiKTok Video geschickt, wo es steht: wenn jemanden die Charaktere sehr auf die nerven geht, dann ist das buch irgendwie gut geschrieben. Mientras existan historias como estas seguir茅 leyendo. Seguir茅 acost谩ndome cuando casi deber铆a estar levant谩ndome y disfrutar茅 de ello. Es por historias como esta que vuelvo a redescubrir lo mucho que amo la lectura, porque una historia as铆, un libro as铆, suple los otros 30 que s贸lo han sido puramente entretenimiento y que olvidas una vez le铆dos.
Bien, si alguien, despu茅s de mis palabras anteriores, todav铆a se pregunta si me ha gustado s贸lo dir茅 que lo empec茅 ayer de madrugada y a las 6.30 am termin茅 de leer no s贸lo este sino tambi茅n su continuaci贸n. Dormir no era importante, parecer un zombie hoy no era importante. Lo importante eran Emmi y Leo, lo importante eran sus correos, su vida y sus sentimientos volcados en las l铆neas que se escrib铆an. No pod铆a parar y tampoco quer铆a, ten铆a que saber lo que pasaba con ellos, especialmente despu茅s de como termina este libro.
Algo que empieza con una sencilla equivocaci贸n crece hasta llevarse por delante "el mundo real", y a煤n as铆, se siente incre铆blemente real. En alg煤n lado he visto que tachan a esta novela del g茅nero "realista", eso es ir demasiado lejos pues no deja de ser una historia ficticia. Sin embargo, creo que entiendo por qu茅 alguien la catalog贸 as铆, porque se siente as铆. Mientras lees puedes comprender perfectamente por qu茅 las cosas se desarrollan de esa manera y no de otra.
Lo volver茅 a leer, no tengo duda.

The romance is real and touching, and I liked as the two main characters inspired each other, as they improved as the story progressed.
But I have ambiguous feelings toward the characters.
I didn鈥檛 like Emmi. She was self-centered and pushy. She was obviously bored in her marriage, but she didn't do anything about it.
I didn鈥檛 like Leo. Sometimes he was kind of rude, sometimes ignorant, other times he was pretentious, meanwhile he tried to remain mysterious.
And I didn鈥檛 like Bernhard, but I could see his point.
An unconventional and realistic romance.
But I have ambiguous feelings toward the characters.
