I'm really enjoying this series, but I wasn't totally struck my the storyline in this particular volume. It got better halfway through, though, so I finished this volume happy.
I like the characters within this series, especially Koro-sensei. As the teacher, he's so entertaining. Although he is the person that everyone wants to assassinate, I think he absolutely makes the series. I look forward to the next installment!

Teachers like Koro-sensei and Karasuma are awesome. I wish all teachers were like them: focused on maximising the individual talents of their students.

On my gosh, the school principal is crazy and scary! The manipulation ability he has is unnerving for the students (and some teachers) of Class E! That is what sticks out the most to me that will later impact the series more from this volume.
It starts off with a baseball game in which the principal takes over to try and continue to put class e "in it's place." Why one would want a class to do badly is still beyond me. With how the poisonous guy is, perhaps he should be leading the assassination team (hehehe).
A new PE teacher throws the class into new chaos as they learn to trust themselves and those that educate them. This new teacher is a military loon! His methods are less than savory and I wonder about his own mental well-being.
This volume reveals a huge potential weakness for Koro Sensei. Also a hidden but popular teacher shines bright and takes the class by surprise. What this means, I will leave the readers to discover for themselves.
A good addition to the series!
2023- The principal scares me more in a psychological way. Will he let the world be destroyed just to see class E fail? How far will he take this power trip? Nagisa has always had that "hidden spotlight" on him but I feel this volume let that shine just a bit brighter and hints toward his future character. I am not sure if I should be disturbed by this or not. Curious about the swimming that is coming up.

Nuevamente se suma un docente no capacitado a la clase pero, en esta ocasi¨®n, va a dejar una lecci¨®n bastante inolvidable. Koro siempre ense?a con el ejemplo, a pesar que a veces ese ejemplo sea lo peor del mundo.

This principal is just horrible! This baseball game was so frustrating, and took up so much book! How did the students even know what Koro Sensei was communication...
The henna debacle was amusing though :p I like how Koro Sensei interacts with his class.
I do need to comment on this creepy pervy af new P.E. teacher! What a disgusting pig! So creepy!
This is so typical of Japanese (noticed this in so much manga and anime) that they focus a lot on male's base needs, and always include constant thoughts of sex.

Still delighted with this series. It's not the greatest manga ever or anything, but it's much better than it could have been. In lesser hands, this would have been all mindless violence and fan service. Instead, Matsui takes an absurd premise, and develops the characters to the point where we care about them. Koro Sensei genuinely has the best interests of his students in mind, and cares about their education and well being even as he urges them to try and kill him. The students love their teacher even when attempting to assassinate him, and their sense of camaraderie is palpable. There are countless manga series where, by volume five, I'm struggling to recall who the characters even are, assuming I haven't just given up on it. Assassination Classroom is different, and I'm still loving it. Recommended!

Antes que nada, he de puntualizar que en este tomo por fin se ve el protagonismo de Nagisa, el primer volumen mostraba una narraci¨®n desde su perspectiva y as¨ª se mantuvo en todo los tomos, sin embargo su participaci¨®n era muy poca en comparaci¨®n al resto de estudiantes que era f¨¢cil olvidar qui¨¦n era el protagonista. A mi parecer se debi¨® recalcar un poco m¨¢s su narraci¨®n para denotar aquello, sobre todo porque en ocasiones los movimientos de asesinato eran llevados a cabo por otros estudiantes e incluso Nagisa quedaba un poco de lado, en fin, ahora se demuestra que su personaje tiene m¨¢s valor de lo que en un principio representaba, e incluso ahora me pongo a pensar que tal vez fue de forma estrat¨¦gica, hacerlo parecer casi un personaje secundario sin gran potencial para dar un giro completo a la trama a la hora del enfrentamiento m¨¢s grande que hasta ahora se ha tenido.
En este volumen se contin¨²a exactamente donde termin¨® el anterior, el juego de b¨¦isbol de la Clase E contra los de ¨¦lite, justo en el momento en que llega el director para impedir el triunfo de los del End y mientras los chicos llevan a cabo lo planeado, los maestros se ven involucrados en un juego de estrategias en el que cada movimiento desafiar¨¢ a su contrincante y el vencedor ser¨¢ determinante para el futuro de los estudiantes de la clase E: Empezando por el director, quien re¨²ne a su equipo dict¨¢ndoles la importancia de ganar sin importar la violencia que ello requiera.
Por otro lado se encuentra Koro-sensei que parece entrar en p¨¢nico al no encontrar recursos para contratacar al director, sin embargo, recurre a Karma el cual les otorgar¨¢ el movimiento que los coronar¨¢ como vencedores.
Posterior a ello, las clases siguen su curso natural, claro con las respectivas diversiones que puede haber dentro de un grupo de asesinos como el hecho de tatuarse por completo. Teniendo arduos entrenamientos de parte de Karasuma-sensei, ¨¦l mismo denota las habilidades mejor desarrolladas de cada alumno y termina sorprendido por Nagisa y aunque duda de la completa veracidad de sus movimientos le impresiona ver tanto avance en los estudiantes.
Sin embargo, el comit¨¦ de seguridad no piensa lo mismo y env¨ªa a un nuevo profesor antiguo compa?ero de Karasuma para que entrene a los chicos. De principio parece ser alguien con potencial hasta que se descubre que s¨ª tiene potencial¡ Pero para mani¨¢tico, loco y desquiciado, la ¨²nica forma de deshacerse de ¨¦l ser¨¢ que uno de sus alumnos se enfrente a ¨¦l y el escogido por el propio Karasuma ser¨¢ Nagisa, quien por cierto no termina de sorprenderme, este paso tan grande que ha dado su personaje ser¨¢ determinante para enfrentamientos futuros y me encantar¨ªa ver c¨®mo es que se desenvuelve en las siguientes pr¨¢cticas de combate.
Para finalizar se descubre que Koro no es inmune al agua as¨ª que lo alumnos lo utilizar¨¢n todo el verano como arma de ataque. Y por cierto, se dio una especie de pista entre dos chicas que low key las shippeo pero mejor no me adelanto hasta descubrir algo en concreto.

January 22, 2022My first volume in ages, and the opening could easily have been trying, what with being based around a setpiece game of baseball. But whereas American writers get all rhapsodic about technical details entirely incomprehensible to a Brit who hasn't been near rounders since junior school, Matsui instead uses it to claw away at the hierarchical instinct which animates the awful school at his series' heart, where the principal is convinced that class E are worse than the pupils of whom he approves, but also that any cheat which is necessary to enforce this supposedly natural order is justified. And that hypocritical sense of entitlement, oh, that we recognise very well. See also the PE teacher who subsequently turns up, all mateyness and ingratiating behaviour, until he isn't. This is such a good series about how fucked-up supposedly elite educational establishments can be, and it's tragic how many people who would appreciate that will never read it, just because it also features a hypersonic killer squid.

This book is about an alien that said he was going to destroy earth by next year but he said if the government wants to save earth the alien will teach a class to become assassins and assassination the alien but if by the end of the year the class has not killed him earth will be destroyed and the only was the alien could die is by rubber knives and bibi guns.Also the book is funny there is action as well.My favorite character is Koro sensei because he¡¯s funny and kering.The story did keep me guessing because i keeped on wanting to know if the class was going to be able to kill Koro sensei/alien.My favorite part of the book was when one of the students beat the teacher and shocked everyone I recommend this book to manga readers because it's funny and it has action if you're into that kind of stuff.

This was a fun addition to the series, although I'm hoping that the baseball subplot is over and done with now because I just don't caaaaaaaaaaaaare. That being said, I found the new PE teacher to be an intriguing character and the reactions of various existing characters was fabulous. I'm definitely going to be picking up the next volume sooner rather than later!

It was really awesome to see the students come together and show Mr. Karasuma how much they appreciate his guidance and expertise all while obliterating the reputation of the sociopathic Takaoka! I¡¯m hoping we see Karasuma open up more as this series progresses, and based on this volume, I think we will!

The first part was a flop but the end of this issue was fantastic! I was thinking the series was starting to really middle itself and get boring but this gave me hope for the rest of the series!

Pues... tengo que admitir que toda la parte del profesor me ha puesto los pelos de punta. Se me hab¨ªa olvidado esta parte del anime o no la recordaba tan cruda. Muy bien representada la din¨¢mica de maltrato (y muy bien condenada desde el mismo inicio del love bombing).
