Morning puts out each star with a kiss as she trails her leisurely way toward the horizon. yawning and half-asleep, she's bound to miss a few, and then the poor stars have to twinkle on all day, trying their best to shine. then comes the really hard job: warming up the Sun, a task for giants and not for a dainty young thing like her. she has to coax the dying embers from the day before into a first feeble spark and then nurse it into flame. it would take Morning hours to light the Sun if she had to do it by herself. but the Wind, notorious blowhard that he is, almost always comes to her aid. why does that silly fellow insist he was just passing by when everybody knows he really happens along accidentally in purpose? it there anybody who hasn't heard about the Wind's secret passion for Morning? secret? it's the talk of the whole wide world!
