How do you say "flash fiction" in Czech?

The stories in this collection are all very short (well, maybe a bit longer than flash but not by much). I sampled about 7-8 and came away disappointed. Not that they are not well-crafted but I expected (too?) much more from the author of The Good Soldier 艩vejk himself.

The defect of the too-short form is compounded by the fact that the stories are too grounded in contemporary realities to really resonate today. Unless you really need a quick fix of haughty noblemen, duplicitous urban churchmen, kindly rural churchmen, and the smug and risible bourgeoisie, all in tiny vignettes.

膶apek's stories are far superior. Sorry, Jaroslav,
