Pro Swift is powerful book for who wanna learn deeper things of Swift. It contains many concepts like functional programming, error handling, lesser known types, etc. Also book has a chapter about patterns in iOS development like MVC, MVVM, POP and OOP. Especially I liked that chapter, because It is focusing philosophy behind of them instead of how can apply.
I have already knew many topics in this book however I've also learnt new things like contigiousArray, command-line Swift and I've remembered the topics that I've learnt before the book. If you don't specially focus Swift's advance topics yet, Pro Swift can be worth to read.

Amazing! Very engaging content and clear explanations. I have always thought book about specific programming languages have bit pointless turns out I havent found the right ones..

Pro Swift is a book that teaches more Swift concept. Authored by Paul Hudson, this book is meant to be read after Hacking with Swift. Paul has an excellent grasp of Swift, which is matched by his ability to explain it to his readers. This book comes with videos explaining the concepts. I wholeheartedly recommended this book as well as other books that Paul has authored. Check out Pro Swift at:

Pro Swift shines through other Swift books, focusing on the less-talked,less-used but essential parts of Swift. Swift is a complex and vast language,just like any other programming language. Paul Hudson’s appropriate pace allows us to explore the obscure parts of Swift without getting burdened down by unnecessary details. Overall,a joy to read.

Easy to understand. Some parts felt like they were skimmed over but overall it was well worth the read and easy to apply. Paul Hudson's pedagogy emphasizes practicality over theory and is, in my opinion, the best way to learn.

Great book, I have learned so many new and awesome things the Swift language can do.
