Emme Rollins is a NEW YORK TIMES Bestselling Author of New Adult/Mature Young Adult fiction. She’s been writing since she could hold a crayon and still chews her pen caps to a mangled plastic mess. She did not, however, eat paste as a kid.

She has two degrees, a bachelor’s and a master’s, one of which she’s still paying for, but neither of which she uses out in the “real world, because when she isn’t writing, she spends her time growing an organic garden to feed her husband and children (and far too many rabbits and deer!) where they live on twenty gorgeous forested acres in rural Michigan.

She loves tending her beehives and keeping up with her daily yoga practice and going for long walks in the woods with her boxer dog, who loves chasing squirrels almost as much as Emme loves writing!

I’ve been doing a reading marathon with the three books on these two and I have to admit I am going to miss them terribly. In trying to do justice to this fantastic rock romance series this review is broke down by each book because I want you to see how much story is to be told on Katie and Tyler.

Trouble Makers

I was given Trouble Makers as an ARC book to read for an honest review. And honestly, this is a book that is a must read, especially if you are a rock romance fan. It must be if I read it in one day and couldn’t stop until I finished it at 2:00 a.m.!

In this book you follow Katie who has a fan crush on rock god Tyler Cook of the band Trouble. He may not be the lead vocalist of this band but he is the hot lead guitarist and Katie has dreamt about him forever. Little did she know that her dreams would come true but so wouldn’t her nightmares. She had convinced her best friend, Bree, to try to sneak into one of the back doors of the venue hoping to get closer to the guys in the band. You couldn’t get much closer than when they were pulling on an entrance door and they both got taken out when the door burst open and not only was Bree’s crush Rob Burns there but so was Tyler Cook.

Katie, with her sassy little mouth and good looks, got Tyler’s attention immediately. She knew she wasn’t a “special girl to Tyler she just figured she was like the countless others that maybe turned his head for a night or if she was really lucky maybe 2. Katie couldn’t get enough of Tyler and she learned that Tyler couldn’t get enough of her either. One night lead to the next day and finally he asked her to go on the road with the band. Her dreams come true…or not.

Life on the road with a rock star was great at first. There wasn’t anything that she wouldn’t do for Tyler which included following Tyler down the road to heroin addiction. She couldn’t lose him and not because he was a rock star but because he was Tyler and he knew how to make Katie happy both in the bed and out. I did like to see that it was possible that this big sexy rock star could keep to one girl and not be willing to “share her like he did with others who came along for the ride. This all sounded perfect except for one thing and that was the addiction that Tyler no longer wanted to fight. He not only didn’t want to fight it anymore he took Katie with him into the world of addiction.

Needless to say the next book in the story of Katie and Tyler can’t come out soon enough. Are they able to build off from their codependency and return to the time when they were in love and couldn’t get enough of one another? Especially since Tyler had to leave Katie after she just got out of drug rehab to go on a European tour with the band. Can Tyler stay clean when he heads back out on the road? And can they make their fragile long distance relationship work?

Trouble In Paradise

Emotional…with what I have read today I feel like I’ve been through everything right along with Tyler and Katie. That only happens when you have an author like Ms. Rollins who knows how to write a book that takes you along for the ride with the characters of her book. I read this in one day which for me hardly ever happens. I couldn’t put it down because I felt so invested in Tyler and Katie.

Tyler and Katie’s relationship was every fan girl’s dream; meet famous and sexy rock star, have an unforgettable night with him, and get asked to go on tour with him. Yes, then the bad parts come in with the drug use but Tyler and Katie never lost their way to each other. As you know from reading Trouble Makers (and if you haven’t read it…get to it, now along with all the other books in this series) Tyler and Katie both were battling their own demons and they were easily sucked into the world of addiction. It was what they did with their relationship after coming out on the other end after rehab that this story takes place.

The problem with them was all of the secrets that Tyler was keeping and then you have to add in to it the guilt that Katie was feeling over what happened with Sabrina, her best friend and Rob Burns girlfriend. You have to read this to find out what all of these secrets were and what all the guilt was about. In the end were Katie and Tyler able to escape the road to relapse with all the turmoil they both went through? If Tyler can keep secrets is he actually telling Katie everything he is hiding? Can their relationship survive all of this even if they know how to please each other in and out of bed and is their love strong enough to pull them through all of the drama? I loved this book and cannot wait for Trouble Rising to come out. If you love rock romance books this is a definitely for you.

Trouble Rising

This is the final book in the series following Tyler and Katie and what a way to go out! If this is the first book you are reading in the Tyler and Katie story…STOP! You HAVE to do justice to their story and read the first two books dealing with Tyler and Katie. Every time a new book for them has come out I have re-read the previous one(s) over and have loved them just as much now as I did then.

This book Tyler is leaving the band and hoping to make it big in the TV and film industry with Katie still at his side. It was nice to see how these two have held together through so much. Katie described their relationship as a roller coaster ride and boy was that an understatement. From their first meeting, then their addictions, and all the family drama that has followed them the whole time opening up even more drama as time goes on. Jay is re-introduced in this book and I loved the storyline with her and Katie specifically and was more than thrilled when the “misunderstanding was just that because I was hoping that she, Katie and Tyler would be able to form a special bond seeing that she was one of the first people that Katie had shown an understanding of and it showed that she did look past herself and what she really could offer to others.

Box Set Summary

As with all the books in this series on Tyler and Katie as soon as you think they make it past this craziness something else takes its place with so much happening to test Tyler and Katie’s relationship and sobriety. I think that Ms. Rollins has taken all of us on a roller coaster ride too because she has had me with such high hopes and that “good feeling that you get sometimes and just like that …BAM!! She throws another little twist to the mix and has you wondering how the hell they are going to get through this. As with all of Ms. Rollin’s rocker books you will go through quite the ride from high highs to really low lows and she has a great understanding on how some of these real life situations affect everyone around you. This is a must read for any rock romance fan.

Fabulous rocker romance with several unexpected twists. Delves into codependency relationships while giving a good look at life on the road. Katie is blown away when she actually meets Tyler from her favorite band Troublemakers. What starts out as a one-night of crazy mind blowing sex turns into so much more. Tyler is shocked at how connected he feels to Katie, he doesn't want to let her out of his sight. We get to experience this intense relationship but there are issues that they are both fighting which leads to drugs and unhealthy aspects of their lives. Through it all, we learn that Katie and Tyler are fighters. Of course, life can’t be idyllic for them as these secrets surface causing more drama on their journey. Both of them face situations which push them past their limits, will they be able to recover and forgive themselves? Their journey incorporates Rob, Sabrina and Sarah allowing us to see what is happening in their lives while we experience Katie and Tyler’s love. I enjoyed taking this journey with them. I read these stories when released as separate parts, excited to see this as a box set to devour.

This is a three book series and is a continuation of the Trouble series. It takes up the story of Katie and Tyler. Two people who have addictions to face and lots of trouble. Trouble Makers shows how they meet and on eventually cleaning up their act. As tenuous as they are emotionally when they're together, they believe they can survive anything or so they hope. Trouble in Paradise, has the couple struggling with family issues, secrets, jealousy, revenge, tragedy and love. The story keeps you reading and wanting more that the last book provides. It is well written and has a few good twists. Life really is a roller coaster for the two of them. Once they get things going on the right path for them. They are thrown a curve that they have to work through. It also closes out some of the unknowns from previous books. Loved this series and hopefully you will as well.

I received an advanced copy for an honest review.

OMG make sure that you have your tissues handy. Tyler and Katie got through such gut wrenching issues. The first book "Trouble Makers" was a great introduction to Katie and Tyler. Trouble in Paradise gives you such a feeling for Tyler and Katie and all that they have been through together; again have your tissue box ready. Trouble Rising gives you their HEA??? What issues the band has. Now it is on to Rob and Sabrina's story. Lots of twist and turns!!! Glad they got their HEA - hopefully it will stay that way.

This is the second box set from the Trouble Series by Emme Rollins. It contains the story of Katie and Tyler. I truly enjoyed reading the three books in this boxed set. The author writes with emotion and vivid description. This makes the stories interesting.
The first boxed set was Rob and Sabrina's Story. It was really good also!

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Gripping from the start, Trouble: Katie & Tyler's Story is well-written with a well-thought out plot and characters that are unique and tie into the previous books in this series. Emme Rollins has written a beautiful, unforgettable, emotional story full of heartache, drama, secrets, revenge, tragedy, addiction, jealousy, turmoil, unexpected twists, toe-curling sex, healing, second chances, love, which all leads to a HEA.

The three parts of Tyler and Katie’s story in one book set! This couple had me at the edge all the time. Their struggle with drugs, Tyler’s health and the secrets around made an intense story that sometimes had me feeling very emotional while reading. But they were strong and had each one. Rob and Sabrina were part of the story and the process of healing. Liked the vivid narrations and descriptions that made me visualize the different emotive moments of the story. Very good story. I read it each book separately and had to wait for the next. Now it’s available in a set!

Tyler is a member of the band Trouble. I am thrilled that the love story of Tyler and Katie are all together in one box set. From the beginning to the end I could not get enough of their story. I liked that it also included Sabrina and Rob from other books in the series. I enjoyed seeing the sexy men with their love of a lifetime. Sweet story that I hated to see end. Well done! Loved the entire series!

This is an amazing story. Katie and Sabrina go to hear Trouble play. They are late but they run into the band members. Katie and Tyler hit it off as soon as they run into each other. They go through ups and downs. I just couldn't put this book down. The characters are so in depth that it could be me in the book. Emme is an amazing storyteller and writer.

OMG INSANELY GOOD

This series is nothing like what I have ever read before. I haven't slept for 2 days because I couldn't put it down. I am so sad its ended.
Tyler & Katie are definitely each others hearts. Boy nothing comes easy in this love story that's forsure.
This series has sex, drugs, rockstars, love, hate, addictions, family, loyalty, deception, riches, you name it and this series has it. I was blessed enough to read the entire series at once and didn't have to wait cliffhanger for the next to come out. No one could be disappointed in this series. I can't wait to read more from this author. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

This is the second box set from the Trouble Series and is about Katie and Tyler, the first boxed set was Rob and Sabrina's Story. Tyler Cook is a rock star guitarist for the rock band Trouble. Katie is Sabrina's best friend, they met in one of the band Trouble Concerts and they get to know one another, the chemistry between them is HOT! Their story is a roller coaster of ups and downs, family drama, drugs, secrets, friendship, tragedy, humor, sorrow, awesome characters and sexy Rockstars!! What else do we need??? Loved that Rob and Sabrina got to helped Tyler and Katie through a difficult time. Eventually their love helps them stay strong and be happy. Tyler is a rock star guitarist for the rock band Trouble. When he unexpectedly meets Katie and her best friend Sabrina at one of their concerts. Katie and Tyler eventually get to know one another, but they are a combustible powder keg just waiting to explode at some point. it was nice and intense at times because they each had a trouble past and you felt for each one and you hoped that they'd get the HEA they deserved despite their troubled past. So if you get a chance, check it out and the stories about the other band members and you'll be glad you did.

Katie and Tyler in one boxed set! These books were fantastic!! Katie and Tyler were by far my favorite part of the Trouble series. I never wanted it to end, it was that good.

Tyler and Katie's story pulls you in on the first page and doesn't let go. From addiction and codependency to recovery and loving healthy relationships, these books hit every emotion on the spectrum. The most engaging part of Tyler and Katie's story is how real they feel and how much they make you root for them.

This is an awesome series!!

This was a great series that pulled me in from the beginning and kept me hooked until I'd finished it. Both Tyler and Katie are complex characters with their own issues to face, but they're the perfect people to help the other face their problems and move past them. I enjoyed following their story, and I was very happy with their HEA.

This story is overflowing with love, friendship, tragedy, resolution, and Rockstars!!! Once you begin any of the books in this box set, you won't be able to put it down until the very end, and even once the first is done, you will immediately begin the next, wanting to know what happens next. I loved the first three and that love carried into these three and has you melting all over again.

Snarky and witty

Great read. Third book of the three fell a little shirt, but a good conclusion to the series. I fell in love with Katie's character early on. She was so quick witted and gave Ty a run for his money. The premise of The book is a little far-fetched but the realism of what could happen on the road with the band give it a delightful two thumbs way up!!

I really enjoyed reading this series mainly because things were not perfect. The characters all had issues and had to resolve them before a HEA could happen. If you like reading about rock stars this is the perfect book to pick up.
