You have just thought of your most brilliant business idea, maybe even going so far as producing a prototype for this "next big thing"! Now comes the hard part, gaining traction, finding not just customers but the right customers.
In this rapid-manufacturing age we live, ideas for new or updated products can be prototyped with relative ease in a competitively short timeline. In order for your brand to succeed, it must be highly recognizable, relatable, and authentic; thereby setting itself apart from the competition while building credibility.
Society contineues to speed up, thus demanding more on your time. While simply working to become an entrepreneur will devour what remains, leaving very little room anything else. It becomes hard to remember the reason you started the business to begin with: to do things your own way, by pursuing your own unique vision and building an organization around it.
That’s easier said than done. The process is not overly complex, but it does force you to answer difficult and complex discussions about who you are and what you want to achieve and how to express that through language, interactions, and design.
That's what this book is all about. I'm giving you the strategies you need to get your brand noticed and to build an ever growing community of raving fans.
I'm the kind of person who tries everything at least once (and sometimes twice, just to be sure!). I'm an extrovert who loves solving problems and thinking outside the box some might even call me a troublemaker, but I prefer "innovator." 😉
I'm a perpetual student and tinkerer at heart, always learning and exploring new things. My background is a bit of a mix business, computer science, and psychology which gives me a pretty interesting perspective on the world. I try to live by a simple mantra: feel good, laugh, and focus on being better, not just becoming better. It's all about action and experience.
Over the years, I've had some pretty cool adventures. I've built and raced drones, mentored robotics teams, started and sold a couple of businesses (and learned a ton from the ones that didn't quite make it!),).
I'm a firm believer in the power of exploration. Like Mark Twain said, "You will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do." That quote pretty much sums up my philosophy. I'm always looking to learn from the people I meet, and I try to leave them with something new as well.
So, let's connect, share some stories, and see what kind of wisdom we can discover together!
