In my all times of reading I have never seen such a whiney main character, not only is the character whining constantly but he's whining about the same thing over and over again, this book is literally a 325 pages of whining! I wish the author of this book undertood that if you can't describe an emotion in three pages then a 325 pages is pure stupidity and abuse for the reader also, what the author has tried to do here is force his readers to feel sorry for the main character so they get engaged in the story by piling up one disaster after the other and constantly describing how miserable he is which is just like watching the news, you keep seeing and hearing bad things all the time and in the end you get adapted and distraction occurs then boredom settles in and you have no interest anymore in what's going on whatsoever so that's clearly just not how it works, that's the opposite of how it works. The lack of story in this book has reached desertification levels cause the story just got buried in all the whining and when the author went from one chapter to another I thought "why bother!" cause seriously! why bother separating them when they are basically all the same, just whining in different words. I hope the author picks up on new skills cause so far this is one of the worst books I have read
