I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy from the Author. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Omorrow by C.L. Gaber will make you feel all the feels. Ms. Gaber does a fantastic job of doing that with this one.
Can Walker and her group get to The Hiding first?
Walker and her Group
Walker, Daniel, Peter, A.E., Eddie, Bertha, the Claires, and Tor were all a part of the group that was sent by their new Academy principal named Principal Dick. Let's just say that most of this group aren't great people. Walker and the group were all so great at first, and especially on paper, but when you put them out without supervision, not so much. I thought that maybe Principal Dick only set this group up to basically fail and only wanting the five freaks to get The Hiding. I love Walker, Daniel, Peter, A.E., Eddie, and Bertha working together, even if not all of them were on the same page.

What I like about this group is that once push came to shove of who will get to the Hiding first, only the ones that cared about getting Daniel out of ITT's grip are the ones that helped them get to it. I love how Ms. Gaber gets the titles of the books from something that happens within the book itself.
Cass
Omorrow CRCass is another superb character. At first, I thought that Cindy (the author) was being mean to Cass. I can't say what happened, but that was just wrong. Cass does help Walker out a lot on a ton of things in the past while he is stuck in the present time. I think that he and Walker are cute together, but I am torn since I also like Walker with Daniel. Time will tell with which one pulls me more toward their side. Cass is a great guy, though, that deserved more than what he is getting so far.
Five Stars
Omorrow by C.L. Gaber is this excellent book that just makes me want to continue reading to find out what happens next. I do have to say that only time will tell on which guy Walker will choose. Along with finding out how Daniel and his family survive. Will Bobby needs to be saved..again? Ms. Cindy Gaber, you have made me a long time fan of yours even if I want to stop when you hurt these precious little beans that you created, and I get to love.

If you haven't started this series, you most definitely should, as I recommend it.

Received in exchange for a honest review.

this series gets more and more developed with each book. The characters grow and have more depth as well.

In this edition to the series, Daniel, Walker and their friends embark on a journey for the Hiding. Now they are going back in time to find Albert Einstein’s Omorrow. I loved Einstein’s message and the truth behind it. He teaches us so much but so do Daniel and his friends and family.

Daniel is more complex than you realize. He loves with all he is and is so protective. He is accepting as well but he will do everything for his family. The ending I cried and smiled for him. I do wonder if love will rule out for him.

Walker’s journey is similar to Daniel’s. She learns of acceptance, love and kindness. She learns sometimes you must do what is hard to do what is right even if it means letting go and not doing anything. She learns that love is the key and that not everything is as it seems. Watching the characters go through journeys of becoming strong, loyal, a family and acceptance was wonderful. From Daniel to Walker, Pete to eddie we see each character grow in strength, loyalty, love and acceptance. They become not only friends but support systems. We see them lean on one another and help each other no matter what. We see them become friends family and hope. Hope for the other but also show each other that who you are is okay with us we love you no matter what. They help each other make hard decisions and stay alive. they mature and grow. We see how love transforms and makes us stronger and wins. They fight demons and the dark together and come out stronger as they follow history and clues that are tests to find the Omorrow. We hopefully see love blossom once again and win out in the long run no matter what has happened to make it seem like it won’t.

the characters go through time to be tested and gain knowledge. Knowledge about life, themselves, love, loyalty and family. Knowledge about resilience and history. About fighting for others and each other. The get clues in finding the Omorrow and also about Einstein and his true test. In each time era they are tested and learn about themselves and each other. We see betrayals and revelations but we see a strong core of friends become closer and support each other. Daniel and Walker show us what love can do and how it can conquer so much I just hope it continues to. We see the actions of consequences and also we see each character gain in strength, love and friendship. they grow and mature while solving the mystery of the journey they are on.

the story is well developed and engrossing. I love the message of love and how powerful it is. Also how loyalty and friendship with acceptance and support is a strength and brings this group of characters together. Each era gives us a lesson in this amongst others. I am excited to see what is next for this group and if love will truly rule out and win.

The purpose of our travels was simple. The higher Authority needed to find the secret last writings of Albert Einstein called The Omorrow Project. We were told that those papers, hidden throughout history by those entrusted with then-and moved when in danger of falling into the wrong hands-would "change everything for both the living and the dead."

Walker and Daniel are back with a group of friends, family and enemies on a journey to find the hiding and win Daniel's freedom from the torturous prison known ass ITT back in the Midst. Traveling through certain periods of time and looking for clues, having to pass tests of character, the group are constantly on the move to get to the hiding before they are either killed or before anyone else can get it. The group is pushed to their limits in this book. There are battles won and lost along with lives lost and plenty of tears spilled.

This was an emotional roller coaster of a continuation of the Ascenders series with a sad/happy ending. I cannot wait for book four.

5 Overwhelming, Often WTF Stars for Ascenders: Omorrow

This series...I am at a loss for words, which is a bit of a rarity for me. I'll take a moment to thank my friend Jolene for introducing me to this series (and it's fabulous author.) I am finding myself not only completely engrossed in this series, but also more deeply invested in the Ascenders world than I have been with any series in quite some time. I'm impatient to start 11:11, but I will admit that it's a bit of a bittersweet emotion, knowing that, at least at this time, it is the last book in the series. If the way my head is spinning at the end of Omorrow is any indication, I'm not at all sure where I'll be after that one, besides nursing the mother of all book hangovers. It is definitely time for me to do some author stalking and find out what is in the works.

So, what to actually say about Omorrow? I'm always so torn in reviewing later books in a series for fear of unintentional spoilers. Things that would usually be safe in a standalone aren't so clear cut in case someone is reading reviews in advance of other books in the series. On top of that, I stand firmly in saying that jumping into this entire series blind is the best way to go. I will note that this is NOT a standalone, and you need to start with Ascenders and read the series in order (So, after Ascenders, you will also need to read Ascenders: Skypunch before settling in with this book, Ascenders: Omorrow. Book 4 is currently queing on my Kindle, and it's title is Ascenders 11:11.) I guarantee this is information you will want to know when you finish this one.

So, many will know that my picking up the first book was stepping a bit out of my comfort zone. It's not that I NEVER read paranormal, or dystopian as I have sometimes seen used in connection with this series (and that is a reasonable genre to throw it in), but neither are particular favorites of mine. I can think of dozens of other genres/sub genres I would usually go to first, with nonfiction physics books coming in high on that list. Once you've embraced this series, you may chuckle at the irony of that. I suppose I am digressing again, but I want to emphasize just how surprising to/out of character for me it is that I am so in love with everything about The Academy, The Midst, and a growing number of characters encountered there.

One more slight diversion that I feel absolutely needs to be said before I try to make a coherent, if vague, summary of Omorrow itself. Theoretically, one could simply read Ascenders (Book 1) as a standalone and head off to your next literary adventure. I wouldn't be mad at anyone for doing so; it does wrap up with a nice HFN (seemingly HEA, but this is pretty much as far as I will go into spoiler territory.) But, I think in this instance, there are probably far more people of my tribe who will be digesting what all they read and find an irresistible draw when they realize that Ms. Gaber has shared more of the Afterlife (lol, I know exactly why my autocorrect keeps capitalizing that word, and since it refers to a song I love, that is almost oddly applicable, we'll leave it as is) with us. I have yet to write an extensive review of Skypunch. I guess I was too anxious to sink into Omorrow to sit down and babble about it, but many of my feelings about Omorrow are extensions of feelings brought on in Skypunch.

So, Omorrow. First and foremost, it is an incredible journey where then lines between black and white are often obliterated and the shades of gray left behind are virtually infinite. Bring your crash helmet, some spare tissues, bubble wrap for when you fling your Kindle (because moments later you will realize there is absolutely no way you can stop reading now when there are more words there to taunt you into reading on) some Dramamine for when your head spins as you repeat that last sequence, and simply for the situations that will have you doing double and triple takes. Those of us over 21 may benefit from an adult beverage or ten. It's so very compelling though, throughout, and brings ALL the emotions. Naturally the celebrity cameos continue, including an extended scene with one of my all time favorite historical figures.

Ms. Gaber does the most excellent job of storytelling. The main characters are so vividly complete and well rounded. The villians are equally complex. Drawing the lines of who falls into which category is sometimes a difficult process. As this volume deals with a significant amount of time travel, the various eras encountered are almost characters themselves and the settings are phenomenal. I will go so far as to say something I never thought I would say about any book, but I would love to see this tome as a movie/series. I have been burned too many times by poor versions (with a few notable exceptions) that I don't make statements like that lightly, but this chapter particularly would lend itself beautifully to that treatment (but, of course, you would have to have the first ones produced first as the story builds more on its foundations with each page.) Maybe when the producers of Outlander run out of source material they could tackle Ascenders and do it justice. For the record, that is praise of the highest order from me as, at least so far, I think they have done a brilliant job with it, and some of the changes there have pleased me greatly even as they veer from the cherished books. (Any other Murtaugh super fans?) I could draw other comparisons to Ms. Gabaldon's epic saga, in all the best ways. There are the obvious time travel similarities, but it goes much deeper than that (but explaining those goes into spoiler territory...I really need to get on that author stalking task so I can discuss this revelation further - any fans of both, feel free to message me! 😉) On a more personal level, both series have pulled me out of my literary comfort zones in the very best of ways. Both have "paranormal" aspects that are so seamless and brilliant that I don't even see them as such. Both are truly epic in all senses of the term (and I am far to old to have used that word as casual slang... I'm of the "totally awesome" and "rad" era.) Both have completely sucked me in and left me wanting more, and in a rockstar level awe of the authors who have conjured them. I have said more than enough, though I could go on.

Though we have encountered demons in the earlier books in the series, Omorrow delves a bit deeper into angels, demons, and the struggles between good and evil. It continues to do so without an overtly religious twist. I really enjoy this version of the age old battle. I admire the author's ability to bring all of this together in the manner that she does. It seems odd that a series about the Afterlife is bereft of religion but it works extremely well.

As Amazon cut me off mid-rant, I will return to my rushed final words. Obviously I could not give higher praise or recommendations for this series. As a side note, these are suitable for a YA audience - I have purchased e-copies for my 16 year old and am anxiously pushing her to start them so I can hear how she interprets them. I also have my husband intrigued. His reading time is limited, but I expect the first book will be his next read. Basically, I see an almost universal appeal to these that is a unicorn in and of itself. Love is always the answer, and I have so much of it for these books.

Ascenders: Omorrow (Ascenders Saga Book 3) by CL Gaber is the third book in the Ascenders Saga. I would highly recommend that you read the previous books in this series as this book takes up where book two left off. You will also get an introduction and background on the characters in this story so you know where they are coming from. This story is a continuation of Walker and Daniel's story after surviving their last journey, you will need to see what journey they will get themselves into next. This story has many twists and turns and will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. You will enjoy how this author has created characters that pull you into their world and how you will relate to them. This is a Young Adult romance novel that will take you on an adventure you won't want to miss.

This story picks up where they left off from book two for Walker and Daniel. At seventeen they live in a world where everyone dies at a young age. They now have a new mission. They are to find something hidden is hidden in the past that could change everything for the living and the dead. They are sent to a world that a second could mean a lifetime. Will they find that their exsistance is threatened by New York City decades to find the lost secret writings of Albert Einstein? What will they do when they are warned that if you die in the past, you will never be born in the future? Will history be rewritten by those who defy the odds? Will Walker delete her own story or manage to survive?

There is a lot of adventures with these characters and clues that you will need to figure out but those are what makes the story flow and make sense. You will have your favorite characters but for me, I have two favorites, Walker and Daniel. They are two strong characters that we have seen grow in each of their books. They know what they need to do and they manage to work together even when they disagree with each other. All of the characters have had trust issues through all of their books and this one is no different. But what is different is that they might just break each other with their mistrust. Their lives have not been all that easy but it is great to see that they work through it and they do seem to stick together. You will enjoy how this author has added great detail to the characters and their situation which keeps you engaged throughout the book. She will keep you wanting to see more from these characters and pulling for them to find their happiness. Find out if these Walker and Daniel wipe out their exsistance or if they will have a future.

This is my third story by CL Gaber and I think that each one of her stories I read in this story gets better and better. This is my favorite of hers in this series and I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next. C. L lives in Nevada with her husband, daughter and their dogs. She is also the co-author of Jex Malone with V.C. Stanley. Once again, this author has created a story that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat waiting to see what will happen next. This story is fast paced and was hard to put down in parts. You will want to see what happens with Walker and Daniel and the others as they continue on their next mission. I highly recommend you read this story as I know you will want to see what will happen with them as much as I have. They will keep you wanting to see them to the end.

Ascenders: Omorrow is book 3 in the Ascenders saga by C.L Gaber and follows on from Ascenders: High School for the Recently Departed (book 1) and Ascenders: Skypunch (book 2).

Ascenders: Omorrow takes up where book 2 ended. Walker, Daniel and the rest of the group return to the past in search of ‘The Hiding but there are also groups from other realms on the hunt, so Walker and Daniel’s group need to find the clues that “were hidden beneath the crevices and between the rocks and mortar of the most crowded city in the world over various decades that were memories. The group find themselves in New York in the living realm and they're able to interact with the living but must ensure they don't do anything that will change the past because that will also change the future. Also, if you die in the past, then you can't exist in the future! This mission is dangerous but a necessary one.

“The universe, most say, operates by a certain moral code. It goes like this: You will only be given exactly what you can handle. My name is Walker Callaghan. Somewhere . . . someone must think I’m a real badass. - Walker

After reading the first two books in this saga, I was keen to continue the story of Walker and Daniel who are a couple with immense strength and love, which has helped them get through and survive everything that's come their way so far. I hoped this would still be the case in Ascenders: Omorrow because they couldn't get this far and then fail. I was also looking forward to learning more about characters I'd previously met in the first two books and was left with questions that needed answering.

I have to say that Ascenders: Omorrow is my favourite book by C.L Gaber so far and I wasn't able to put it down. I kept saying to myself ‘just one more chapter but that chapter then became another chapter and another and another. I wasn't able to find a point where I could stop because I was so involved in the story and plot twists that you don't see coming. C.L Gaber describes New York from the past so well. I love history, so this book was perfect for me and it made me want to actually go to the ‘old' New York myself. It was great to learn more about New York and all the characters as they jumped from era to era. I'm also so glad that C.L Gaber continued with the theme of including famous people who are dead as I think this concept is so clever, especially with the way the author weaves it into everything else.

I went through so many emotions whilst reading this book but I was left crushed right at the end because I did not expect the ending. I can't wait for Ascenders: 11:11 (book 4) to see where C.L Gaber goes next as the ending leaves it wide open for the story of Walker and Daniel to go in many different directions. The quote I've included further up in my review has to be one of my favourites and is something I should believe in when my life isn't going as planned or expected.

I recommend that readers definitely read this saga as it's nothing like I've come across before and C.L Gaber is a master of the imagination.

Ascenders: Omorrow by C.L. Gaber is the third instalment in the fantastic Ascenders Saga and is by far the best on of them all.

“Exitus Acta Probat. It’s Latin. Translation: The end justify the means.

After being forced onto a mission that she wants no part of Walker finds herself yet again back in the land of the living. Only this time the can interactive with those who are still alive; this time they can die again. And if they do then it is all over for them, no reset, no second chances, they are extinguished.
Given clues by the mysterious force only known as The Shield, the eclectic team are sent out to try and find The Hiding. However in order to be given the details of its whereabouts they first have to pass the test throw at them. And with most of them fighting for the right to Daniel’s freedom, everything is on the line.

’Callaghan When I tell you to hide, you hide. When I tell you to run, you run. ‘And when I tell you to run, I challenged. ‘I fight, he vowed.

Daniel might be fighting for his own freedom but really he is fighting for Callaghan, to protect her, to keep her alive and safe, to get her home. He knows what is at stake but he will never stop fighting for her life. With the sudden reappearance of people from his past he knows that time is running out. But what if he isn’t round to protect her? Will the others be able to step up and take his place? And what about the infuriating Cass who seems to pop up at the most inconvenient times?

“He was always looking at me in that way. Like I was made out of stardust.

With a team a friends and enemies with them Walker and Daniel race against time to complete each test thrown their way. Other teams are out there looking for The Hiding and they know the only way they will be the ones to get it first is if they stick together and fight for what they believe in, for what they know is right.

“It dawned on me: If home is where your love resides then I was suddenly homeless.

I had thorough enjoyed the previous two books but nothing could have prepared me for how much this book would consume me. There were times I couldn’t read it but at the same time couldn’t put it down. I screamed, I cried (ok sobbed), I laughed, I loved, I felt my heartbreak and yet I couldn’t help that believe that these unlikely heroes would find a way.
And when I didn’t think it could get any better the twist right at the end had my heart in my throat, fresh tears streaming down my face and a hope that it wasn’t all over yet. This has quickly become one of my favourite series and I am now impatiently counting down the seconds until the next instalment is released.

Ascenders: Omorrow (Ascenders Saga Book 3)
By: C.L. Gaber
5 out of 5 stars

The story Ascenders: Omorrow (Ascenders Saga Book 3) by C.L. Gaber is a YA/adventure/romance book. This is the continuing story of Walker Callaghan and Daniel Reid. A group that includes both Walker and Daniel are sent to the past to find something that would change everything for both the living and the dead. Will their mission be a success and will they all survive? From the very first book, I have loved this series and this third book is just awesome. I love the continuing storyline and the romance between Walker and Daniel. They are my favorite characters. Walker is a strong, intelligent, independent person who takes charge and leads this group. As they travel through time she is the one seeking out and finding clues which get them closer to their target. Walker doesn’t trust every member of the group. There are those who have their own agenda. Walker is totally in love with Daniel. They stick close to each other and support each other’s actions. However, this journey is dangerous. They must be careful about affecting history and also make sure that they stay out of harm’s way or face being deleted. Will this mission be a success or will there be events that hijack their best efforts and lead to failure?

I also love the character of Daniel and how he fits into Walker’s life. From the very beginning, he has been in love with Walker and would do anything for her. His stake in this mission is high on a personal level. Daniel’s life has been a hard one. I love the fact that he keeps his siblings safe and is very self-sacrificing.

There are many dangerous situations and clues that must be put together on this adventure. Will they all survive? Just because this group has a common goal doesn’t mean that they all work well together. Will this group fracture and break apart under the weight of their distrust for each other? These are the questions that will have you quickly turning pages to find out what happens next. Reading these books in order is highly recommended as each book builds on the next and you follow the character’s development along the way. I love the way this author writes. Her attention to detail is amazing. This book will have you rooting for Daniel and Walker.

The Saga tells the story of Walker Callaghan (female) and Daniel Reid who are both attending a unique and strange Academy in the ‘Midst a place where the young and recently departed go to continue growing, developing and learning more about the type of person they are and want to be. In Book One Daniel and Walker broke the most important rule, they found the portal and went back to the land of the living to rescue Daniel’s six year old brother who was trapped in the land of the living as a ghost. They faced dangers in the living world as demons surrounded them intent on destroying their souls. In Book Two they learn they are to be sent back to the living world on a quest to retrieve a vital message that has been ‘hidden in the past. Skypunch recounts how they prepare for this dangerous mission. Omorrow is the story of their mission. Sent to a place where a second can mean a lifetime, Walker and Daniel find their existence threatened as they scour New York City decades to find the lost, secret writings of Albert Einstein. They are warned, "Die in the past and you will never be born in the future." They must not do anything that will alter the past. Will they survive or wipe out their own existence?
As Walker and the group jump from one decade to another in an effort to pass tests and seek answers, they learn who they can trust and how to control their time travel. As an extra pressure upon them they find out that there are other groups seeking the message that is ‘hidden and they are not working for good because they are on the dark side. The one person Walker knows she can rely on is Daniel. What happens though if Daniel doesn’t make it? What will happen to Daniel if one of the other groups find the message first, especially as his life is forfeit? Can either of them continue to exist without the other should something happen? Can they also find Dr King?
As in the other two books C L Gaber has shown an extraordinary and creative mind to put this series together. The way events within the decades that the group visits are recounted and used well to incorporate mystery and intrigue. All the characters continue to develop and grow whilst the romance and love between Walker and Daniel continues to deepen. The twist at the end completely threw me only to be topped by the final twist amazing. Look out for Book Four.

Wow!!! C. L. Gaber writes an amazing five star book again!!! In Ascenders: Omorrow, Book Three, she again proves her mastery at storytelling and again gives an amazing performance.
In Omorrow, Walker and Daniel’s story continues with an impossible quest. There are plenty of twists and turns on this rollercoaster of a ride. It is an impossibly real story. When you start Omorrow, be sure to leave plenty of time to finish it, because there are no down spaces to leave off. Ms. Gaber has written this high octane book with only one objective in mind, to give the reader the most fun ride around. She achieves this goal in spades.
Ms. Gaber writes with fantastic flare. Her characters pop of of the page with almost overwhelming power. The details of each relationship in Omorrow are so concrete and so realistic that you almost can touch each one. Sometimes to cry with them, sometimes to laugh with them and always to love with them. There were times during this story when I just wanted to be able to give her characters a hug. Ms. Gaber writes her characters with a passion, compassion and empathy that gives you no choice but to see them as real people. She takes no shortcuts on her way through Omorrow.
I really enjoyed her in depth descriptions of the past. I felt like I could reach out and touch the New York of the past and the present. Now, I really want to go to New York and actually see some of the things she has written about. She has written her scenes with such clarity and such detail that I could actually feel the snow fall, the mist come in and the sun shine on my face through her writing. I felt as though I were right there with Walker and Daniel as they battled their way through what seemed like overwhelming odds to reach their goals.
In short, C. L. Gaber is one of the few writers out of the hundreds, maybe thousands that I have read, who can actually engage my feelings in a book. In case no one has caught it, I absolutely loved this book, this series and this author. Bravo Ms. Gaber.

Review originally published here:

Omorrow sees protagonists Walker and Daniel, as well as a bunch of their friends and enemies travel back to the past to scour New York for the secret writings of Albert Einstein. But, one step wrong from anyone could mean rewriting history or banishing themselves from existence entirely.

I mean, what else can I say? Gaber has absolutely nailed it again. When an author decides to publish a series, there is always a chance of the story becoming poorer as each book is published. Not the case here. Omorrow has the same suspense and thrill as the previous books, even more twists, and, if possible, more emotion. I feel truly invested in Ascenders at this point so I experienced every ounce of pain and joy along with the characters. How could I not? It feels like reuniting with old friends every time I open their new book.

What I really want to focus on in this review is how amazingly Gabor tells a story. She leaves you chopping and choosing about what is going to happen next and her character development is up there with the best. Yes, like I said, the characters are very familiar to me at this stage, but this book really brought me to a new layer of their personalities. It is wonderful to see a previously perceived one-dimensional character such as Eddie reveal what really lies deep inside. For him and for other characters, we gain a sense of understanding about why they act like they do, in the afterlife and when they were on Earth.

You may remember me mentioning somewhere else on Joyful Antidotes that I really love when a fictional story recalls a time in history. In some ways, we had this in the past Ascenders books as students in the Academy found themselves taught by Kurt Cobain and Steve Jobs, among others. Omorrow, however, without giving away any spoilers, helps the reader discover what it was like to live in New York during different periods of time and that, for me, was the icing on the cake.

So, I will finish this review like I have finished the others, by stating how much I loved this book! Seriously, go now and catch up before the fourth part is released at Christmas. I can’t wait!

I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Omorrow is the third book in C.L. Gaber’s Ascenders series starts where Skypunch left off. These books should be read in order as Omorrow continues on from Ascenders and Ascenders Skypunch and the characters have very extensive and very complex back stories.

The story continues as Walker Callaghan and Daniel Reid and the specially picked motley crue from the Midst are sent back to the living realm on an impossible mission to try and find the mystery of Albert Einstein’s writings. There is just one major snag and that is if you die in the past in the living realm you do not come back and you will not be born in the future. They also have one major rule on this mission and that is do not do anything to to change the past because it could change the future.

Walker the unspoken leader of the group definitely feels the pressure to solve things and the group find themselves in more sticky situations than ever. But who can they trust? Only one thing for sure friends could be foes and foes friends. Walker can count on one thing and one thing only and that is Daniel. Daniel is her one constant, her crutch to lean on but what happens when that crutch is no longer available?

With each jump in time they find themselves looking to discover clues and answers which are revealed to Walker and Daniel along the way to ensure that the information does not fall into the wrong hands. With the pressure on, can they find the mysterious writings in time and can they survive the trial and tribulations thrown at them and the ones they care about without anyone dying?

C.L. Gaber is a talented writer who has the ability to make things, fun, exciting and entertaining. The story takes you on a magical journey that you can not put down.
Omorrow certainly didn't disappoint and was the best in the series so far. I have come to love all the characters and especially all their quirks. I can’t wait to see what C.L. comes up with next for these lovable misfits.

Title: Ascenders: Omorrow (Ascenders Saga Book 3)
Author: C.L Gaber
Stars:5

C.L. Gaber’s Ascenders: Omorrow is the third book in this author’s saga series. I highly recommend that you read the first two books, Ascenders and Ascenders Skypunch, because the characters have extensive back stories and you don't want to miss any details. Plus Omorrow starts where Skypunch left off. Omorrow didn't disappoint and in my opinion was the best yet in the series.

Walker Callaghan and Daniel Reid and the others from the afterlife are sent back in time to try and find the mysterious writing of Albert Einstein. They travel back to the past in New York City. They have one major rule in this journey, don't do anything to to change the past because it could jeopardize the future. Oh and don't die either, because that means you will be erased from the life you were a part of. No pressure, right?!?!? Walker seems to feel the pressure to solve things, so she emerges as the leader of the group. She finds it difficult to trust some people of the group, but she has the one thing that always keeps her steady and always has her back, Daniel. With each clue discovered and answers revealed will Walker and Daniel be able to keep the information from getting in the wrong hands? Can they bring back themselves and the ones they care about back without having anyone erased?

C.L. Gaber has such an ability to make things jump off the page. The writing in this series is magical and whisks you away on an incredibly awesome journey. I also love the references to past “celebrities . It makes me reminisce to some good times in my life. I love Walker and Daniel together. They are the ultimate mystery solving machine. This book was hard to put down just like the others. It's easy to escape into the worlds that are written, and I plan to go back to them over and over again.

I give Ascenders: Omorrow (book 3 in the Ascenders Saga) by C.L. Gaber 5 stars.
*This review contains spoilers of previous books in the series.*

Walker Callaghan has been through a lot for being so young. She died while still a teenager. She ended up in a realm that is for teenagers and found she still has to go to school. But the teachers are legends, literally. She met the love of her life and became part of his family there. She ended up in the equivalent of teen juvie. But she has met some wonderful people and had amazing experiences. Things currently look pretty bleak now though. Their wonderful principal has been missing for quite a while and their new principal is an awful, power-hungry man. He has put her boyfriend in permanent juvie. But he has offered her a way to get her boyfriend free, although it’s not easy.

There is an artifact that was supposed to be hidden somewhere in time. Walker, her friends, as well as some others, have been tasked with going back to the living realm and jump through periods in time to find it. Just going back to the living realm itself has its obstacles. Then there are the others who are also searching for it. This is not an easy task and there are so many surprises they find along the way. Will they be able to find the artifact? If they do, will their principal keep his word?

I absolutely love this series. It’s just wonderful! This is classified as a young adult but is really for all ages. These books never get old, each one is more exciting than the previous. And each one has a fresh story, but the same characters you know a love. And of course some new one you will love and some you will hate. I cannot rave enough about this book! Oh and there are a few more celebrities making their debut in this book too! You will not be disappointed in this series.

Ascenders Omorrow is the third book in the series and follows the adventure of Walker and Daniel, and will going into the past affect the future forever.

Walker and Daniel are sent on a dangerous journey to recover the missing works of Albert Einstein but as the group goes on the adventure to the past will they be able to keep the one rule which is don’t do anything in the past that could jeopardise the future. Walker becomes the leader of the group and is discovering the clues along the way, although they are working as a group Walker does not trust some of the people in the gang but is fine because as always Daniel is by her side.

As they go through solving the clues they must be careful to stay out of trouble because if they get caught and die in the past they erase their life in the future. This book brings the first two books together and I love that the two main characters have grown throughout the series. You feel the emotion of the story and the detail in the details is brilliant.

I also love the way the author has created such a strong, intelligent woman in Walker and Daniel’s character has been through hardship in the fact he is the only adult in his family and has to look after his siblings which his does this with compassion and love for each of them. I love these characters and the story has you on the edge of your seat, the relationship between Walker and Daniel is lovely and the chemistry between them shows in the authors writing.
I have enjoyed this series immensely I would recommended that you read the first two books in this series first as it sets the characters backgrounds and I can’t wait to read more books from this author in the future.

Ascenders: Omorrow Ascenders Saga Book 3 - CL Gaber 5 Stars

This is book 3 in the Ascenders series and it starts right where Book 2 ended. I do not think this can be read as a standalone as a lot of the characters where thoroughly introduced in previous books. May I recommend reading the first 2 books in the series to better enjoy Omorrow? Omorrow is my favorite book in the series so far and I would hate for you not to like it because you had to “catch up and figure out who everyone is.

What a grand adventure the Ascenders series has become. Book 3 is absolutely my favorite out of the series (although I think I may have said that as I read each one). This is the continuing story of Walker and Daniel. They have survived their last adventure and now have a mission which could change everything they know to be true.

Ascenders: Omorrow is a book that really surprised me. This story had me in emotional turmoil, at the edge of my seat with fear & wonderment (is wonderment a word?) and so invested in each section that I was reading every word because it was like a history lesson and entertainment all wrapped up into one.

As this story was published in 2017, the “obscure music references were no longer obscure and gave me a moment’s pause when I realized my beloved Prince and George Michael were featured in the story. Life moves on at such a fast pace and The Ascender Series is a prime example of that.

I would absolutely recommend this series to all ages and I think I’m going to ask my book club to read it so I have someone to fawn over the details with.

Ascenders: Omorrow is the third book in C. L. Gaber’s Ascenders Saga. I personally do not think that it should/could be read as a standalone! There is so much that we have learnt about all of the main characters and the dynamics between and among them and their motivation in the first two books and you would totally lose out on that!
I have to say that so far Omorrow has been my absolute favorite out of the three. I do NOT know where the writer finds her inspiration, her imagination simply blows me away with every single page! I am telling you, I cannot wait for the next book! She has left me in a limbo, again, waiting for my next fix!
This story runs you through a gamut of emotions I cried, a lot, I laughed, I raged, I feared, I . Well, you get the picture This books keeps you on the edge of your seat, literally, and you will NOT leave before you have finished it AND then end comes way too early
This is a continuing story of Walker and Daniel and their friends and foes where they continue on their journey to finish the mission given to them by the Higher Authority. You will find out if you know your history and historical figures, it is such a fun to go and say, hi, I know who she means!
I love how the writer has created such a strong character (and female role model) in Walker, I kept falling more in love with her with every chapter. Daniel is nothing to sneeze at either. The writer has given us a super couple with a fantastic set of friends.
I recommend this series to anyone, doesn’t matter if you are young or old, everyone will find something (actually a lot) to enjoy!

Ascenders Omorrow Book 3 by C.L. Gabor is completely amazing and pure genius! I was so amazed and drawn into this book. The storyline, all the historical bits, and the paranormal aspects all fit together so nicely. The way everything flows along with all the details is just brilliant. The characters are so well planned out and I love when each character's backstory is thrown in through the book.

In book 3 we find Daniel, Walker, and the rest of their crew out in the real world to try and find “The Hiding. This was a secret Eisenstein had hidden away before his death that could change everything between the world of the living and the world of the dead.

Throughout the book we get a glimpse into past eras while the friends search for clues on each time period as to where this old time capsule would be hidden. Along the way they fight demons and find out more about each other. The one thing their new principle tells them is that they can not purposely try to alter anything in the past.

Closing out the book the friends arrive back in The Midst, which is the afterlife they live in now. Life there picks up as normal for everyone, except Walker. Something unintentional done in the past alters her new future in the afterlife.

This book is 5 out of 5 stars! I can't stress how amazing I think this author is with her writing style. There was so much thought and detail put into this book it left me speechless and anxious to find out what happens next. Anyone that likes paranormal style books, I guarantee you will not be disappointed with this series. I would not read this as a standalone.

Ascenders: Omorrow (Ascenders Saga Book 3) by C.L. Gaber

5 Stars

You really have to read the first 2 books in this series to have a complete understanding of this unbelievable journey. This book picks up right where book 2 leaves off. The group from the midst (a middle world for those who died young) who have been commissioned by the higher authority to retrieve something from the past that could forever change everything for the living and the dead have made their first step into the past, landing in New York City.

Daniel and Walker and the rest of the crew are taken on a journey through time and some amazing and not so amazing adventures. They keep receiving clues from what are called lurkers, that is supposed to help them find their way to the Hiding, the secret writings of Albert Einstein. They have been warned though to be careful because if any of them were to “die in the past, they will never be born in the future and also to be careful to not mess with the past as it could rewrite history and change everything. Can this group survive this journey? Will they find the Hiding before the many other groups that have been sent to find it? Can Daniel and Walker hold onto their love and manage to survive or will some changes in the past alter their future?

The twists and turns in this book were amazing, the time travel jumping was brilliant, and the adventures brought out so many truths to each of these characters. It had me on the edge of my seat the entire book, and the ending, Oh My!! I need book four as soon as possible!!

This author has an imagination like no other, and her stories flow flawlessly. I absolutely love this series!!

Ascenders: Omorrow by CL Gaber is a paranormal/time travel/ YA Book written in multiple points of view. This is the third book In the series. It starts where book two ends so it's very important to read the other two books in the series. There is a lot of action and things going on with this book. It is quite lengthy so it did take a bit longer to finish. It took me to about 40 % in to really get into it. I found myself really getting hooked around Ellis Island. The time traveling elements were so cool. It was so exciting to me to get to be on this adventure with them and even though it's just a book I felt like the author portrayed everything very well. The author must have a crazy good
Imagination because the things she comes up with are simply amazing. I have really grown to love the characters in this series. The afterlife and adventures are so cool to read about. I especially still love the famous people that get mentioned throughout that have died. They made a huge deal in the book talking about not changing history during the time traveling so when they allow something to transpire (yes I am being vague because spoiler alert!) I didn't see it coming lol. You got me good! I am very glad how things did end up ending though. It was a very good book and series just longer than I generally like. But on the other side of the Coin I get what the author is trying to come across with how much danger etc they are in. Anyway great writing and characters can't wait for the next book. 4 star rating!

Omorrow is the third book in the Ascenders series, written by C L Gaber. Starting right from where the second book left off, Walker is traveling across time to Daniel’s life. This series is absolutely thrilling and I can’t get enough of this world that CL Gaber created. For me it's like immersing myself into a world that thrilled me just as much as Harry Potter did. I find myself craving more and rereading the series over again. You have to read this series!!

Walker Callaghan and her boyfriend, Daniel Reid, have found themselves in yet another life-threatening situation. AS much as it can be life threatening considering they are already dead. Sentof finding something hidden through time, they travel back to the living world and risk changing everything, for both the living and the dead. Finding themselves in New York City, they start their hunt for Albert Einstein’s secret writings. With their existence in more danger than ever before, they. If you die in the past, you will never be born in the future. With every move they make, history is being re-written. Can Walker survive? Or will she end up deleting her own story?

I’ve fallen head over heals in love with Walker, Daniel and the world they live in. At the end of Skypunch, I was desperate for Omorrow. The story is set up perfectly: a dangerous adventure across time to save their future. The characters are so well created and this world is easy to lose yourself in. I’m so beyond pleased with how this series has developed. Seriously this trilogy is amazing!!

Ascenders: Orrmorow, book three of the Ascenders series starts off with Walker Callahan and a band of friends from both the Academy and ITT and strange people from FREAK U who are all task with looking for the Omorrow project that would change the world for both the living and the dead for good or for bad. If Walker and her friends find the project first, they would be able to grant Daniel Reid, Walker's true love, freedom from ITT, a prison for dead trouble teens . At last the others from FREAK U are going on the adventure for different reason other than freeing Daniel. To find that Omorrow project, Walker and her group of twelve must go through the past answering clues given by the shield, which is a group of many people both alive and dead who are protecting the Omorrow project from evil froces. Walker and her team must race time and demons to get the project and if time, their lost principal, Dr King, before evil forces get them and the project.

I really enjoyed book and how it went through the time periods like the Great Depression in 1930 to Ellis island 1907 to modern times like 2017. It was also historically accurate which made reading more enjoyable. The book was just as fast paced as book one and two. The book had all of its lovable characters you came to know in both book one and two. I would highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys lovable character as well as an adventure that includes both action and a little romance with a paranormal twist.

Ascenders: Omorrow
by CL Gaber
** 5 Stars**

Ascenders: Omorrow by CL Gaber is the third book in the series. It's starts directly were the second book, Skypunch, ended. You should definitely read this series in order! You have a quick catch me up at the beginning of this book, but you would be totally lost without the background information from the other books. Gaber has thrown a twist into this book which throws us into the past! All my favorite characters join us into this adventure for the search if the lost and secret writings of Albert Einstein. They weren't the only ones looking for the papers either. It seems that other groups of from various realms were also hunting for the papers.

"This means one thing: We had little time to find what was buried as we were.
Our future was written in the past."

Will the group be able to pass the tests in order to find the clues? Will Walker and Daniel be able to keep their ever growing family together?

Daniel is an amazing character! He is so self-sacrificing when it comes to the people he loves. Throughout all of the books in this series we see a love for not only Walker but his family. He is determined to be the role model his father never was.

This wasn't my first book by C L Gaber. It seems that with each one of her books that I read her writing gets better and better! I have a following her for a few months now and she hasn't disappointed me yet!

Ascenders: Omorrow by CL Gaber is the third book in the Ascenders Saga series. I was so excited to get to read because I enjoyed the first two books in the series. The story picks up where book two left off. This is a YA fantasy, adventure story. Walker Calllaghan and Daniel Reid are teens who have passed away and have found themselves living in the Midst. The two with several other teens have been sent on a mission to the living world of various decades to find the hidden writings of Albert Einstein. If they can accomplish this task without being killed and erased from all time the treasure will change life for the living and the dead.
The characters are fun and everyone has a purpose in the story. There are popular kids, the geeks, the misfits, and more. This is a great reminder that someone might not fit in but they have a place and a function in society. Walker is strong, independent and coming into her own as the books progress. She has found her strength and become a strong leader. Daniel is strong and the silent one. He is the unspoken guardian to his siblings who passed away with him in an accident. Also, there are many others in on this challenge. I enjoy the references to history and cultural/historical figures that pop up in the Midst. Gaber gives enough of a description so you know who the reference is even without the full name. I look forward to reading more of CL Gaber’s books in the future.

Ascenders Omorrow is the third book in this really well written YA series. The epic love story of Walker and Daniel continues across the ages - quite literally in this book. The twists, turns, and tragedies that happen with this entire crew sent on the mission by the Higher Authority to find the extremely secret and well guarded writings of Albert Einstein. What a rollercoaster ride they are thrown onto.
Can this crew divided ever come together and get close to what they seek? Can it be found before the other crews that have been sent out to seek it find it?
How it is that Walker is using her powers? How are the years that they travel to determined? Are they being manipulated by other sources? Who can they really trust? And what is truly considered interfering with the past that can effect the future?
This book is so well put together, that you fall more and more in love with everyone that is within the crew that is on this mission and you continually cheer for them. They may be considered a broken bunch of dead teens, thrown together against the odds but the heart of this crew is rather amazing to see coming together for each other.
I was thrown by the twist that is given to you in the end and I applaud the author if you can throw me for a loop - you have given nothing away and hidden it well. This book was hard to put down and I so wanted more! I look forward to seeing what happens with Walker and Daniel. I give this book 5 stars.

What a great saga, series, story, author!!! I love it all! The wild ride that is the Ascenders, continues with our favorite spirits, Callaghan, Daniel, and their friends, on their adventure to find The Hiding, which is somewhere in the Living Realm. Trusting each other, killing demons, figuring out the clues and even learning to love yourself are all keys to this story.

Once again, Gaber has kept me intrigued with plot twists and surprises at every turn. All kinds of feelings are brought out in this story. Even with the good vs evil story line, there were moments of laughing out loud. I loved the references to well-known people that have passed and even the history of a famous shooting.

The romantic moments that aren’t over the top completed this story. This is not a hot and sweaty, panty dropping kind of story. It’s a heartwarming, heart beating, caught in my throat, kind of fantasy adventure that I can share with my daughters, mother and friends, without those sexy times causing any embarrassment or awkward situations.

And then there’s the ending. I never saw coming, an actual WTF just happened?!? Gaber has written an ending that will leave you wanting to throw whatever reading device you have, right out the window…at least until the next book comes out!!??!! If you read anything this year make sure it is the Ascenders Saga, just remember to start with book one!

Ascenders: Omorrow by C.L. Gaber
Five Stars

Ascenders: Omorrow is the third book in the Ascenders Saga by C.L. Gaber. Have you ever read a series and you hope the next book will be as good as the last? Well I don't know how she does it, but each book in this series just gets better than the last. I love the characters and the plot line is so original. I highly recommend reading this series in order as the books build upon one another. This book take off where book two ended. You will need to buckle your seat belts for this wild ride.

The story continues with Walker Callaghan and Daniel Reid, the rest of their crew, sent back to the living world. This time they are sent back to the past to find the mystery of Albert Einstein’s writings. If they find the truth in the mystery they could change the living world as well as the one they are living in now. However there a a few drawbacks to going into the past, if you die in the past you will not be born in the future. The second drawback is if you change anything in the past you will also change the future.

As these teens follow the clues in New York City, the danger follows them. Will they be able to complete their mission or will then end up deleting their life? As I stated above. I love this series and C.L. Gaber has such an extraordinary imagination to bring such details to the characters and situations they find themselves in. Truly Brilliant!

Ascenders Omorrow by C.L Gaber is book three of the Ascenders series. In this book we are back with Walker and a mishmash of student's jumping through time in search of research Albert Einstein discovered but hid from mankind for their own protect. Now this group of dead high school students has everything on the line to find what no one before them has been able to and pass test by the group that is hiding the research while trying to find their beloved principal Dr. King in hopes that he will know what to do and how to fix things that seem to be so messed up at this point. Yet this is not going to be an easy task by any measure . Because along the demon versions of themselves to fight there are also traders among them. They are stuck finding helping the most unlikely of places and if they make it out of this still dead they have to worry the if thing Einstein hid should be given to the very people who may use it for evil. Not to mention the risk they take with each jump of changing the past as we all know it.
As with each prior book in this series Gaber continues to keep up the surprise and drama around every corner. You'll be on the edge of your seat for this ride I know I was and wait til you get to the big reveal. OMG.. The next is sure to be even more fun and called full of the answers this one leaves us with. Got to admire the way Gaber can tell a story and make histrionics semester fun.

The Ascenders story continues as Walker and Daniel jump through time in search of The Hiding, an artifact that could change the world, time, the Midst, everything for the better or, if it fell into the wrong hands, for evil. And while they work through the riddles posed during their search, they are tested at every turn and made to fight the demons that hide in the shadows of night. The only rule: don't change anything in the past. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. It takes everything they have to abide by that rule. But they're not alone. There are others searching for The Hiding, and it's a race to see who can reach it first. And if they should find it first, what would happen if they turn it over to Principal Dick? What would become of them if they didn't.

These characters are so striking and intense, and I can't imagine the story being told without any one of them. There's love and loss and betrayal and heartache and tragedy, and the search continues no matter what. The unexpected twists and turns as we watch the relationship between Walker and Daniel deeping make for edge of the seat reading. And that cliffhanger just about took me out.

I laughed, held my breath in disbelief, wanted to scream, shed some tears. It was an emotional journey, and I'm glad it isn't over. I'm moving on to read the next chapter in the series next, and I can't wait to dive into it to see what happens next.
