I think this is one of the most interesting and unique premise for a story I've read in a while... Well, stories. Six to be exact. Six stories, with one fun and intriguing blurb, written by six different authors.
The first book in this anthology is Jana Aston's Times Square. This story is about a woman named Lauren who moved to the Big Apple with her fiance. Now, ex-fiance. Lauren is living it big in a one bedroom apartment with 3 roommates. Then she meets Max. Max is sweet, sexy, and successful. And he likes Lauren. Their story was the cutest. I loved them both. Jana's writing is always the best balance of fun, hilarious, and steamy. This novella was no exception! I can't wait to go back and read more of the anthology, and see some of the other stories and how they differ from this!

The Hammersmith & City Line by Kitty French
What could possibly go wrong when you let your best friend and bridezilla convince you to don a tacky wedding dress to go head to head with two other women on a TV show for the chance to win a dream wedding? Well... a lot. One, the women you're supposed to be competing against are actually two men. One is a future groom competing on his bride's behalf, and the second is his BFF and the man you shared an intense moment of sizzling attraction on the subway. Sparks fly. Sassy TV show host snark. And passions ignite in this super entertaining novella.
This was so much fun to read. I adored these two characters together. I loved how well Kitty French managed to develop them in so few pages. There's plenty of depth and a perfect amount of humor to go with this super cute story. If you're a fan of Kitty French, this is not to be missed!
The Loop by BJ Harvey
I love a steamy second chance romance and this one certainly fit the bill. In usual BJ Harvey fashion, the heroine was full of sass and the book a mix of humor and steam. I have to admit that I struggled a bit to understand why Cam took so long to seek her out since he's been back in town and his reasons didn't mesh with me. On the one hand, I got it. On the other hand, it also didn't. If that even makes sense.
Ultimately this was still a fun and steamy novella and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
I plan on reading the rest of the stories in the anthology eventually as well, but being a huge fan of these two authors, I had to read their stories for. A definite rec from this girl!

The Loop by BJ Harvey

The last time he saw her was when he left his privileged life behind for basic training. But not all is at it seems for Cam and his family. Now having severed all ties with his philandering father, he's back in Chicago and a chance meeting with his first love allows him to finally right a wrong and get her back.

So this anthology is made up of six authors with six different takes on the blurb; they are Jana Aston Time Square, Ainsley Booth St. George Station aka Personal Escort � a Billionaire Secrets story, Kitty French The Hammersmith & City Line, BJ Harvey The Loop, Raine Miller Capitol South, Liv Morris Wall Street Station. I’m not going to go into all the intricate details of the plot of all the short stories, because I went in completely blind and I believe that is the best way to experience this unique concept.
To be honest I have never been a huge fan of anthologies or short stories for that matter as I don’t always feel the writing flows well. Often I finish feeling somewhat underwhelmed and the stories and character development feels really rushed. However, I never once felt that way with any of the above mentioned stories. The characters and stories were developed well and I didn’t feel I was missing something.
If you are looking for a unique take on storytelling then definitely give this one a go. I was really in the mood for something unlike anything else I had read before and I’m so glad I chose this. SERIOUSLY CHECK THIS ONE OUT...

4 Fascinating Concept Stars

I saw this cover and was intrigued as I am a lover of Wedding stories...I read the Concept/Blurb and that really piqued my interest. Throw in some of my favorite authors and Click... I had the book and dove in.
This Love in Transit Anthology by Jana Aston, Ainsley Booth, Kitty French, BJ Harvey, Raine Miller, and Liv Morris had a very cool premise. Give these authors the same group of details that had to be woven into their individual stories. Other than that... they had total freedom to write whatever they wanted.
With 6 different minds, ready to create a different tale with only certain specific points... that would leave a lot for them to play with...
I can honestly say each of them did themselves proud. You could see where they were having fun with it...and as the one reading knowing certain factors had to show up... that became a mental game too.
This was perfect for lunch breaks or time-outs from everyday life. Each author brought the emotions, humor, connections, and very hot sexy times... some so good... I was late getting back from my break :D
I could see where this would be a great beach read...

Times Square by Jana Aston
5+++++ Stars
I haven't read any of the author's books and I don't know if the story is safe for me. I just thought if it's not then I'll have my second dnf. But the moment I started it, I was hooked. I can't tell you how much I love the story! It's a story that will stay in my mind for a long time. It's amazing!
The story is about Max and Lauren
She works in marketing and she wants to get a promotion so she doesn't need a distraction. She's renting a one-bedroom apartment with three girls and sleeping on bunk beds.
She came to New York because her fiancé, now ex-fiancé moved there after he graduated and got a job. She followed him after she graduated and found out he was cheating on her. And now, she's starting a new life without him.
She sometimes stops at Starbucks on her way home from work and that's when she saw a man staring at her from across the street and her life changed after that.
Meeting Max was the best thing that ever happened to her. He's in finance and has a stable life. He's so sweet, so attentive, so caring and so perfect! He's perfect for her! I love them both and as a couple. They're so cute together!
There's an epilogue but I want more.

I LOVE this book! What a fun and unique way to not only capture the attention of readers, but to expose new authors to readers too. One blurb, six authors, and six different stories that had me hooked.
These ladies were on point with their tales. Even though the blurb was similar, in no way were the stories. There was a mix of themes ranging from brother's little sister/best friend to second chances, both of which are favorites of mine, and more that attempted to steal my breath away all while providing fireworks amongst all of the stories.
While I've read most of the authors, Liv Morris was a new author to me and one whose stories I now need to stalk. I really hope other authors do something similar to this. I would one click it right away.

I absolutely love the concept for this book, all the authors were given the same prompt and where they took the story was all their own. I have to say, the first two were 5 star stories for me, and while they may not have all been 5 Stars, I did enjoy each and every one of them.

Times Square by Jana Aston - 4.5 stars 😀
"Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale."
I love the humor, wit, sarcasm on this one. I have this silly smile on my face while reading it. The MCs are very likeable and relatable.
And my favorite line "Let's go f*ck this out" was really priceless. 😁
Plus it has a sweeeeet epilogue.
St. George Station by Ainsley Booth - 4 stars
I enjoyed and loved this one as well. A very cute love story with the big brother's best friend trope. I thought they are both adorable. Where's my epilogue dear author? I am curious about the reactions of Cara's family now that Toby and she are together.
And I didn't bother to read the other stories. My friend Alex's review made me chose not to.

I'd like to start off by saying that this is a pretty GENIUS idea! It not only provides a challenge for authors, but it gives readers a taste of authors that they might have never heard of before. It's a complete WIN-WIN! Giving six different authors the same blurb and have them run with it, giving us an original novella from each author...it's simply brilliant! Previously, I've only read three of these authors, so in reading LOVE IN TRANSIT, I've discovered three brand new writers to keep an eye out for. The concept was unique and smart. The results were sexy and entertaining as hell. Each author brought their own brand of romance, along with some pretty incredible characters, and some amazingly awkward situations and made it shine! Chock-full of romance, emotion, and laugh-out-loud moments, I'd say that LOVE IN TRANSIT was one hell of a success.

Average love story and chemistry with sweet ending

St. George Station, aka Personal Escort - a Billionaire Secrets story by Ainsley Booth: Story of Cara and Toby. The classic plot of attraction to best friend's little sister takes a turn when she's forced to hire an escort to be a pretend fiancee/groom due to her grandma's will, and Toby is finally not able to let her go.
Enjoyed their witty banter.

The Hammersmith & City Line by Kitty French: A bridzilla vs groomzilla contest turns interesting when their respective best man Ryab and maid of honor Connie enter the competition in a hilarious fight for perfect wedding.
Funny, sexy and HOT, was my favorite of the lot.

The Loop by BJ Harvey: Sarah and Cameron's second chance romance, when they bump on a train where Sarah's going to marry her gay best friend for benefit, and sparks rekindle.
This was OK. I didnt feel the connection between the two.

Capitol South by Raine Miller: Gray and Reese's tale is about them getting married to gain her inheritance as per her grandfather's will.
This was a rushed book, I'd have liked it way more as a full length novel.

Wall Street Station by Liv Morris: Seth and Seraphina is the fairy tale-ish book between an attorney and the client who's forced to be a stripper due to circumstances.
I just believe that ...
Too many things I had issues with.

What an awesome concept! 6 authors took one blurb (that there is a woman riding the subway in a wedding dress) & wrote what their idea of the story is. Each story is about 80 to 100 pages each (novellas).
All 6 books are so completely different, yet wonderful! Although these books work perfectly great read alone, the books compliment and work amazingly well together (believe me, you're gonna start searching for that wedding dress!).
The thing that I loved the most about this anthology is that each book felt like it hit a different emotion in in my book (haha, pun intended) and that roller coaster ride of emotion is marvelous!
I'm also one of those people who stick to specific authors and rarely go out of my comfort zone. This book also introduced me to 5 new wonderful authors, that I am now excited to read other books from.
Below is a short summary of each book and some thoughts on each of them.
** Times Square (New York) by Jana Aston **
So first things first. Jana Aston is my FAVORITE author. She's one of the few authors that I'll one-click for without looking at the book description. So when Ms. Aston wrote a book with 5 other authors, what choice did I have but to try em all out?
Times Square is the story of Max and Lauren in New York. Max sees Lauren in Starbucks and falls for her smile and laugh. They end up randomly meeting on the subway where Lauren is wearing a wedding dress as part of her job. Max works to win her over including joining her romance book club - because as Lauren said "Is there anything sexier than a man absorbed in a book? Not to this self-confessed book nerd there isn't".
This book gives you all the feels yet still has a sizzle factor of 10! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
** St. George Station (Toronto) by Ainsley Booth **
St. George Station is the story of Toby and Cara. Cara is Toby's best friend's (Ben) little sister. As Cara grew older, Toby noticed the changes so tried to stay away. Due to pressure from her family, Cara needs a "fake" husband. Guess who will volunteer for the job and meets her at the subway!?
This was a really sweet novel of friendship turned love. I loved the feel good factor of this book.
Note: This is a standalone but Jake (Toby's other best friend) and Ben have connecting books! Jake is in "Personal Delivery" (looks like a great plot and already has awesome reviews!). Will definitely be checking these books out!
** The Hammersmith & City Line (London) by Kitty French **
The Hammersmith & City Line is the story of Ryan and Connie, who meet on the subway on the way to a contest to win a dream wedding (for their best friends).
The only thing that threw me a little in this book was all the British English words. But I have to say it made me love imagining Chris Pratt with a Benedict Cumberbatch accent!
This book was hilarious! And I loved twist at the end (sorry no spoilers here!)
(p.s. I love Kindles! For the first time, I was able to learn that a tuffet is a low seat/footstool!)
** The Loop (Chicago) by BJ Harvey **
The Loop is the story of Sarah and Cameron. Childhood sweethearts who shared all their firsts together. They separated after high school due to family issues and re-met on the subway while Sarah was on her way to get married to her male best friend, in an effort to save her family's home.
This book gave me such a feeling of nostalgia. I loved the long term love that they shared.
** Capitol (South DC) by Raine Miller **
Capitol South is the story of Grayson and Reese. They are both descendents of presidents. When Grayson is 18 and Reese is 10, he is told that he's gonna marry her. Come adulthood for Reese, she needs to marry by 25 for her inheritance.
I loved the business turned personal love aspect of this book.
** Wall Street Station (New York) by Liv Morris **
Wall Street is the story of Seth and Seraphina. She is a wealthy daughter of a man who lost everything in a ponzi scheme, Seth is the family's lawyer. He is selfless and giving to her, she just wants to help her family.
I loved Seth's response when he found out what Seraphina was doing to help her family. It really gave you that perfect book boyfriend feel.

p.s. I'm already going through withdrawals. I'm going to start looking for a wedding dress on the subway in the next couple books I read LOL.

** St. George Station (Toronto) by Ainsley Booth **
St. George Station is the story of Toby and Cara. Cara is Toby's best friend's (Ben) little sister. As Cara grew older, Toby noticed the changes so tried to stay away. Due to pressure from her family, Cara needs a "fake" husband. Guess who will volunteer for the job and meets her at the subway!?
This was a really sweet novel of friendship turned love. I loved the feel good factor of this book.
Note: This is a standalone but Jake (Toby's other best friend) and Ben have connecting books! Jake is in "Personal Delivery" (looks like a great plot and already has awesome reviews!). Will definitely be checking these books out!
** The Hammersmith & City Line (London) by Kitty French **
The Hammersmith & City Line is the story of Ryan and Connie, who meet on the subway on the way to a contest to win a dream wedding (for their best friends).
The only thing that threw me a little in this book was all the British English words. But I have to say it made me love imagining Chris Pratt with a Benedict Cumberbatch accent!
This book was hilarious! And I loved twist at the end (sorry no spoilers here!)
(p.s. I love Kindles! For the first time, I was able to learn that a tuffet is a low seat/footstool!)
** The Loop (Chicago) by BJ Harvey **
The Loop is the story of Sarah and Cameron. Childhood sweethearts who shared all their firsts together. They separated after high school due to family issues and re-met on the subway while Sarah was on her way to get married to her male best friend, in an effort to save her family's home.
This book gave me such a feeling of nostalgia. I loved the long term love that they shared.
** Capitol (South DC) by Raine Miller **
Capitol South is the story of Grayson and Reese. They are both descendents of presidents. When Grayson is 18 and Reese is 10, he is told that he's gonna marry her. Come adulthood for Reese, she needs to marry by 25 for her inheritance.
I loved the business turned personal love aspect of this book.
** Wall Street Station (New York) by Liv Morris **
Wall Street is the story of Seth and Seraphina. She is a wealthy daughter of a man who lost everything in a ponzi scheme, Seth is the family's lawyer. He is selfless and giving to her, she just wants to help her family.
I loved Seth's response when he found out what Seraphina was doing to help her family. It really gave you that perfect book boyfriend feel.

p.s. I'm already going through withdrawals. I'm going to start looking for a wedding dress on the subway in the next couple books I read LOL.

I ADORED the first two stories, but it went downhill from there! It was still pretty good though, and I would recommend it. I liked this one a whole lot more than anticipated given my bad luck with anthologies. But this was pretty great and I’d definitely read the first two again! A bunch of really well written, exciting, funny and adorable romantic stories. Definitely great for those short commute reading times or pre-sleep reading.

First of all I need to start by saying what an amazing idea...6 authors same blurb....Each story was fresh, funny and HOT...From a simple smile at Starbucks,Sushi diner with an old friend, mad reality shows that turns on you,old flames coming back to make your head spin, others deciding who to merry at a young age up to being saved by someone you never thought would notice you!
I was laughing out loud through out this book and it's hard to say which one is my favourite but if I must choose I think I'll exit at St.George station with Toby and Cara ( no offense to other "station" - I love you all) 😍
You really need to buy and read this book...it's FRICKING fantastic!!!💖

Now that I've read the book in totality, the idea was amazing and the stories so wonderfully different. I'm left wanting to read more by each author.

If you're fans of Jana and Jake (Personal Delivery), and let's be honest we all should be, then you will love this. It's another in her series of short romances this time part of a collection in which six authors were given the same setup/blurb and asked to write a story.
Toby's starting to feel his age. I mean who doesn't at 35 (grins). Cara is feeling the same pressure to grow up but in her case, it's inflicted on her by her Nana. Well-meaning or meddling, the reader can decide. So, as we all do, pressured by the need to grow up Cara soon ends up making some intriguing, and non-grown up decisions. Ones that lead to her spending a lot of time with Toby.
Together they come up with a solution, one that even Cara doesn't quite know until the end. Along the way, we get a love story, with some classically sexy moments from Ainsley Booth. It's a lovely evening read, sweet and tender as well as sexy, with awesome characters who develop even in the short format of this novella.

OMG, I loved this one too. How does Lauren end up in Times Square in a wedding dress handing out fliers? Because that's the way her life works. It's also when she meets Max, for the second time.
Max and Lauren are sweet, sexy and funny as hell. There were moments in their dialogue when I laughed out loud. It's another perfect reason to buy this book. I can't wait to read the others now.

This story is crazy, and I loved it. It's set in London UK, a city that I love. The plot involves a game show, a person with anger-management issues, and two main characters who are trying to win their best friends the perfect wedding.
I was hooked from the first page. The crazy just kept unfolding. There were sweet, heart-aching, and steamy moments, but it's definitely the madcap nature of this story that is the winner. I've never read anything by this author before, and now yeah, totally going to do that.
(p.s. Technically, Hammersmith and City is a Tube Line, not a station... and I don't know that we find out where they alighted...)

Just one minor thing, Cade has been home for a while, but not tried to find Sarah. We don't quite get to the bottom of that in a way that completely satisfied me. I'd actually been imagining something like PTSD. It's a minor thing, and, in this format, it's hard to close all the plotlines down because the story is so short.

Wow, this plot impressed the hell out of me. There was a lot of back story and the author managed to deliver a romance that really made me want more. Please, Raine Miller, write the rest of their story. Because although they are together, I want more. And I love political romances too. Please, please. I was completely engrossed in this book starting with Jana Aston and her wall street hottie and ending with Liv Morris and her sexy, sweet lawyer as well as loving all the stories in between. What a fun idea to take the same story elements but tell 6 completely different stories. I sure hope these ladies do it again because they rocked it! 5 stars x 6!!!

The premise is great. It shows versatility at its best. One blurb, and six authors take on it
I will say all of the books endings felt too abrupt. I understood why, but it jilted my experience.
Jana Aston: 4 stars
A quirky protagonist, humour, and chemistry. The blurb paralleled with the story delivered. It was a little too short as expected, and there wasn't really a problem (thought Brad would be one), but it still ticked all the boxes.
Favourite line:"Let's go fuck this out."
Ainsley Booth: 2.5 stars
It was alright. But I didn't FEEL it you know? It didn't feel perfectly in sync with the blurb. The blurb was written in a way that suggests it's the start of a book, and in this one it kind of happened in the middle. I also wanted a runaway bride story. And I didn't particularly like Toby and a little tired of the brother's best friend trope. I guess I would have preferred for her to fall for a hired actor... so completely personal preferences I suppose.
Kitty French: 5 stars
I've never enjoyed the Knight series I'm so glad she CAN WRITE BOOKS LIKE THIS. Innovative and funny. OMG SO FUNNY. If I'm going to read her books, this is my genre of choice.
BJ Harvey: 1 star
They are high school sweethearts. He just wasn't that into her. Left for the army and never looked back conveniently bumping into her on the day she's set to marry her gay best friend. She's 35, if he doesn't know now love, he never will. Could a woman be any more pathetic? DNF.
As for the other books, I'm bailing especially after mild storyline spoilers from a trusted fellow Goodreader. Life's too short for bad books.

I was excited about this collection because I wanted to read more of Jana Aston. And the great thing about a collection is that I find some new authors to investigate. I am particularly curious to read longer works by Ainsley Booth, Kitty French and Raine Miller.

All the best bits of a meet-cute romantic comedy. Lauren and Max have great comedic chemistry. I love how they play off each other’s teasing so well. Three cheers for great dialogue.

Toby & Cara’s story has more angst, but it is still a lot of fun chemistry as two friends learn to see each other in new light. This is also a tease for a billionaires looking-for-love series

This anthology was such a fun change of pace for me. I normally don't like anthologies but this was such a new concept I couldn't pass it up. I wanted to see how six authors could create 6 completely different stories using the same blurb. Well let me say they did a FANTASTIC job. Overall I would give this a 4.5 Stars and I would totally recommend this book to everyone. It truly has something for everyone.

This was a short and very easy to read story, and it flowed really well. As with novellas and short stories like this, it did move really fast, but it kind of fit the characters. They were fun and quirky and it was easy to read. The heroine was pretty relatable and the hero was a really sweet guy. I haven't read many books by Jana Aston, but this was written in the quirk and easy going nature I have come to expect from her.

Next minute things took a very unexpected turn that shocked the hell out of me. An intense and fun journey in this short story. I’d like to read more from this author.

The writing was great, just with short stories like this, they sometimes feel a little incomplete. I’d read a more detailed story of a follow up about those two if it was available.

Not me! The running theme howeve gets more bumurous with each novella you read along with a variety of tropes, freinds to Lovers, second chance romances and the forbidden fruit!
The stories so well written that the pages just fly by.
Looking for a different read, look no more.

I very much wanted to read this book, basically because my favorite author, Raine Miller is a contributing author. The authors were given a subject and a few details and were asked to write a novella. Began reading this book by starting with Capital South by Raine Miller. Without a doubt, Ms. Miller can write a story based on anything and it will turn out to be a fantastic story. We were treated to another one of her amazing men and a heroine everyone can love. The other authors, Jana Aston, Ainsley Booth, Kitty French BJ Harvey, and Liv Morris, which I have never read before, did an equally beautiful job. I loved everyone of them!
I highly recommend this book to those who love the romance genre.

This an amazing anthology. Each author was given a set of criteria to include in the story. How they crafted their stories was up to them. Each author did a stellar job of making each story unique and enjoyable.

June 16, 2017From the second I first heard about this collection of stories, I knew I needed to read it. Six authors were given the same blurb, and they each had to create their own story from it. I was so excited to see what these authors came up with, and I couldn't wait to dive in.
The authors were a mix of ones I'd read before, and a few I had yet to read, so I really didn't know what to expect from some of them, and the biggest surprise for me was that my favourite story came from a new-to-me author! I love, loved loved Ainsley Booth's story! Toby completely stole my heart and I would love to read more from him. At the end of that story, Ainsley mentions that it was the second book in her series (though about different characters), so I headed straight to Amazon and picked up the other book. That alone shows what a great idea these collections are, readers find new authors, and authors gain new readers!
It wasn't just Ainsley's I loved. Jana Aston was up first and it was everything you'd expect from a Jana book, fun, flirty, and fantastic! Kitty French's book was also the hilarious and sexy ride you would expect from her, until it takes on a very unexpected twist! These stories might all be short but they're definitely well packed with action and adventure, and let's not forget a good old helping of romance!
It was great to see how different Jana, Ainsley, Kitty, BJ Harvey, Raine Miller, and Liv Morris' stories were considering they all shared the same blurb, and I think this is definitely something that could catch on. So if you fancy something a little bit different, want to find some new authors, or revisit some favourites, Love In Transit is definitely the way to go.

I liked the premise of this book, but after reading four stories with the same set up I wasn't inclined to read the last two. Here's my take on the four that I read -
Times Square by Jana Aston - Great characters with endearing, funny situations. This was my favorite couple in the anthology, very entertaining. 4+ Stars
St. George Station by Ainsley Booth - Sweet story featuring a friends to lovers plot and a MOC twist. I love this trope and overall the story was well written. I've never read anything by this author, I'm interested in reading more. 3.75 Stars
The Hammersmith & City Line by Kitty French - This was a DNF. I wasn't wild about the heroine and gave up pretty early. Since I'm not a fan of this author I threw in the towel earlier than normal. No rating
The Loop by BJ Harvey - I'm picky with second chance romance and this one didn't work for me. The separation was too long (16 years) and the hero's excuse was lame. 2.5 Stars
While this wasn't a home run the first two novellas made the book worth getting. I'd recommend for romantic comedy fans.

The concept of this anthology had me intrigued right from the start. It also doesn't hurt that I am an absolute fan of every author that has contributed to these amazing stories.
My favourite book was Wall Street Station by Liv Morris. Seraphina (Sera) is born into a world of wealth and has led a sheltered life. Seth is a business associate of Sera's father and has in instant connection to her.
Three years later, Sera's world has dramatically changed. Seth knows he should stay away, but finds that he can't deny what he feels any longer.
This book is so emotional. From the highest of highs, to the lowest of lows - there were twists and turns that I just didn't see coming.
All the books in this anthology are fabulous & I cannot recommend enough.

Seth is an attorney for the rich and Sera is the 18 year old virgin daughter of one of his clients. Wall Street Station takes us through the "riches to rags" journey of young Sera when something happens to her families wealth. without spoilers I will say Seth is one of the sweetest H's I have ever read but without the bad boy persona I have come to love in romance novels, he is still an amazing character. I adored Seth! Sera will do what is necessary to care for her mother without regard for herself. A unique and beautifully written novella! I cannot wait to sink my teeth into the rest of these stories by these amazing authors!
