Thank God that I already had this book waiting for me when I ended the previous one from this series...
Thank God or I would be insane.
I'm mad that I only now discovered this series but happy at the same time.
Wanna know why?
Because this way, I have all books written and waiting to be devoured. Lol
Marata Eros has created this amazing MC series, my favorite genre, that you guys will love. I know that I do and I can't get enough of them.
Her writing is raw and wild, intense and dark, surrounded by a thick cloud of suspense. Just the way I like it.
Trainer is the fifth book from the Road Kill MC series and explores the lives of Trainer and Krista.
I've wanted to read his story since the moment I saw him in the previous books. So much to know about him.
Trainer is one of the brothers from the Road Kill MC and loyal to a fault.
He had a horrible childhood and that made him want to help the ones who needed it.
When his path crosses with the beautiful Krista.
Krista is a special education teacher that adores her students.
She's fierce and determined and that makes her the amazing girl she is.
When a new student enters her classroom...
Dayum... If I thought the other books were intense... Jeez... This book nailed it.
Great plot, well written, super dark, engaging, and intense.
It's remarkable the ways someone can go in order to achieve his goals.
That works for good but also for the bad.
This book was super engaging and I couldn't stop reading it.
It was one chapter after the other, reading nonstop because the need to know more was super strong.
Madness, betrayal, crime, torture, punishment are very present in this book as well as second chances love, loyalty, and desire.
One minute things were going one way, and then the next... Bamm, they changed.
I adored these characters and you can feel the chemistry they share.
It's always good to have news from the brothers. I love these guys.
Marata... Oh, girl... This book was amazing and I can't wait to grab the next one.

I'd be lying if I didn't admit that I've been waiting for Trainer's story since the first moment he appears in the series. He is such a brilliant individual who fights against a common disability that gets mistreated, misdiagnosed, or remains untreated more often than any of us would like to believe. He had a horrific childhood but grew up to be a huge man with an unshakable need to protect those around him who can't protect themselves. He becomes an integral part of Road Kill MC, and when things go sideways, his only hope of survival is the beautiful special education teacher, Krista Glass. She sees something in him others don't see, and when push comes to shove, he becomes just as much her salvation as she is his.

Trainer had a special spot in my heart the moment I met him in Noose's story. He makes some mistakes, but there's something about him that is so endearing. And Krista is a strong heroine who has high expectations and works hard to reach her goals. She is perfect in her chosen profession, and her backstory, as we discover when we move through the story, is as frightening as any ugly nightmare a person can imagine. As hard as she fights to gain control over her life, Trainer fights just as hard for control over his. And no matter how things seem, he is not one to give up easily. I love his grit and determination, and there is a kindness and sweetness in his heart that made me root for him from the start. And let's face it, like all of the MC members, he is hot and sexy, so the steam is extra special. I don't think the author will be able to top this story, but I don't think that is her intention either. Each of these men is unique and special in his own way, and that's just the way I like them. Another fantastic Road Kill Motorcycle Club story that makes me thirst for the next.

Finally, Trainer's book. And this one was so much better than the last 2. I really loved how the story developed between Trainer (male lead) and Krista (female lead). We meet Trainer from the very fist book as a 'prospect'. In the first book, Trainer pretty much messes up in his Rose watch post and well Noose gives him hell for it. Now he has patched in and is a brother. We always got the sense that Trainer wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed but we did not know why. In this book we learn he has a learning disability and we meet the sweet Krista, who is Trainer's adult learning teacher. We also learn about Trainer's traumatizing childhood, with a mother who was a prostitute and the abusive men she let into the home. Krista is a breath of fresh air, but coming out of a stale relationship. Trainer and Krista have insta-attraction and soon enough they give in to lust fever. As Trainer and Krista become more entangled, her ex starts to come around and we see that he carries evil intentions. I was super shocked for the huge twist that came along for Krista. Definitely did not see that coming. This book has given me more reasons to continue with the series and read it through the end.

Falling in love with Trainer is easy to do. As you read about his past as a child, you feel for him, connect with his feelings, and understand who he is. Krista is the perfect other half to Trainer. Trainer needs to learn to read to help out a court case, but one look at Krista, his teacher. and he was hooked. More then anything he realized she really could see into him and the kind of person he really was. Not the dumb kid he was told he was all his life. As the story continues there a people you just love to hate, secrets that will hurt them both, and an evil man that will try anything to have Krista, no matter what it takes. It gets pretty dark and very emotional, but the Road Kill MC protects its family. Love the HEA.

Trainer has had a difficult life. He has had to overcome numerous challenges and obstacles.

When Trainer first meets Krista, he feels a strong attraction to her. He didn't think he'd ever find a lady to love, protect, and have for the rest of his life.

When Krista is told to help Trainer, she is surprised as to why such a tough-looking biker would need her help.

She is able to "see" him. His scars, his pain, and his beauty.

When a threat arises, Trainer must do everything in his power to protect Krista.

The novel captivated me, and the blurb gave me the sense that it would be an emotional roller-coaster. I was not disappointed. It went above and beyond my expectations.

Marata Eros, the author, is a gifted storyteller.

This was more 3.5 stars. While I’m still not a fan of this authors writing of the women of this series, and Krista makes some pretty dumb choices, she’s not quite as bad as the others. Maybe that’s because she’s head over heels for Trainer and sees the good person in him. Plus the other characters of Judge, and getting a bit of the evil villains side added more to the story, but so far this one has been my favorite. There were still some issues, and quick judgments that I thought were a bit out of character, but I really liked both Krista and Trainer a lot.

Beautiful to the Core!

Bada$$ to the Core and humble to the heart. Trainer is so human and such a real representation of all the list children in our schools. Krista holds a special place in my heart because she is a Special Education teacher for the same reasons I am. There are not enough teachers to help all the Trainers of the world. The sweet simplicity of their romance is just fabulous, I could not put this book down!

my favorite so far

Loved Trainer! One of the best characters written. I’ve never seen this addressed in books before, never would have thought I’d see it in an MC.

Krista is a special kind of girl. Never seen the ugly of the world until it almost claims her body and soul.

Twisted secrets. Horrible lies and omitted truths almost destroy everything.

Loved it. Can’t wait for the next one!

Love Trainer!!

To be honest, after the little I read about Trainer in the first four books, I was not looking forward to his book. Was just not interested and even thought of skipping it all together. I am so, so, glad I didn’t. Love the other guys, but Trainer is now firmly my number one. He and Krista are such decent, nice, people and are a perfect match. Trainer fought so hard for happiness and I cried I was so happy with the ending.

Another amazing addition to an already great series. This is story was different from the others. Trainer and Krista are both fighting demons but they find solace in one another. They are perfect for each other. I enjoyed the fact that we get the POV from the "bad guy", he was just too gross for words. I enjoyed every single moment of this book.

Very Gritty

I honestly loved Trainer. Many Alpha Male books make the MMC too perfect pr the FMC too dependent or over do the strong FMC stereotype. I loved that Trainer had his issues, but a few valued who he was. Also, thank you for saving Judge. If you don't mind intense and graphic it's a good read.

Trainer

This series just keeps getting better. Trainer is a survivor, searching for his place in life. He’s got this big heart that’s looking for love. This story has some really dark elements, but I could not put it down.

I was hopeless. 5 DIAMOND HEARTS

Then I found Krista. Showing her what I want and need without words. My body doesn't lie. And I want it to speak for me. Trainer's looking at me like a dessert he's been denying himself. My heart goes into overdrive at this point. His nearness. The smell of him. It's not IF it'll go further, but when. The invisible heat has smoldered between us from practically minute one. I've been teaching him for two weeks—but he's been teaching me too. And his lessons are the best I've ever learned. WHOA! WOW! WHAT A FANTASTIC BOOK!! I was absolutely, wholly, utterly and COMPLETELY CONSUMED from beginning to end! I have read & loved this whole series, laughed, swooned, cried, bawled even, but LOVED THEM!! Trainer is no different! I was completely ensconced, engrossed from the moment I met Brett and even deeper when I met & became Krista! But then living everything with and as BOTH of them, well, I can’t even begin to describe just how phenomenal the ride was! This book will pull you in from the start and keep you tightly held in its grip, straight through until long after the very end! If you have read all of the books before Trainer, you will already know that when Marata says it's dark, you know she means it. Oh don't dismiss the dark warning, it IS DARK! But there was an angle I thought would play out, but thankfully didn't, so the rest of the very dark parts didn't seem *quite* so bad! This book WILL gut you, thrill you, shock & disgust you, it will break your heart and put it back together again! Of course, it also made me laugh lots of times, warmed and melted my heart (and panties! wink), had my pulse & heart pounding with the adventure & the attraction between Trainer, Krista and ME!!! Will hug you, squeeze you, love you, eat you & spit you out! But even still, this book was so worth the wait, the heartbreak, the laughs & tears!! This is not a book - this is a FULL ON PHYSICAL & EMOTIONAL ADVENTURE, JOURNEY & EXPERIENCE LIKE NO OTHER!! With her unparalleled talent, enriched, detailed storytelling, complex characters & deep emotional connections, Marata Eros has yet again transported me straight back into this Road Kill MC, had me wrapped up in this MC World and loving *almost* every bit of it! Tell all the truths, even if they're dirty and ugly. Because a lie is never pretty.

Almost 10 TEN! Chapters for a kidnapping. OMG. NO.

Don't get me wrong from chapter 1-26 everything feels great. Then I get to the lull of the book. The part of the book that is suppose to make you say, "geez. Omg what will happen next?!" Well. Girl I know what the result is, but did I have to read almost TEN(?!?) chapter to get to the result and ending of a book for one singular plot line that is a over used clique? And trope? No. Simple answer: Girl, hell no.

It's a decent read. Read chapter 1-26, skip to chapter 36. There I saved you time to read another better well written book on your To-Read list. This is a good attempt at other books who wrote and edit/pace their flow so effortlessly that is seems like magic. This book felt like a hard pill to swallow by chapter 25. The story wasn't new. The writing was decent until chapter 26 when everything slowed down because the author wanted to painful prolongue the agony between her main lead character. Girl, please. No.

Do I recommend this book? If you're bored maybe? Otherwise skip!

I loved it, being a huge fan of the series was sooo sooo glad to read another winner!!

I loved the incredible twists and the interesting characters and the fantastic story line.

Trainer and his beautiful soul are wrecked and lost until Krista comes and changes the pain to passion and love.

Krista is a courageous and incredible empathetic character.

I loved getting more of Noose one of my Favourites!!!

The story was incredibly refreshing, to have to learn at an adult age to get through living without the skills to just get by and manage to do it effortlessly.

There is mega evil a brewin in this instalment and Allen is by far one of the many most evil characters M.Eros has written.

All up Amazing!!!! Marata Eros is Queen of the twists and Super Queen of the villains!!!The magnitude of amazing characters in this story is utterly amazing, I want all their stories so excited and intrigued now about Viper!!
Now Im off to find my own pale green eyed Biker.

I have been following this series since the first book and loved each one that has come out. Trainer is no different. Trainer has difficulty learning and reading. He has been called stupid and dumb all his life. One thing he has always stood for is protecting those that he cares for against bullies. Krista is a special needs teacher taking the term to teach young adults with learning disabilities when she meets Trainer. But, neither of them is aware of the encroaching danger that is getting closer to Krista. As usual, I loved the suspense, romance and comedy. However, an added bonus, the author tastefully wrote about adults with learning disabilities with sensitivity.

Well, that was a surprise.
Trainer is a character I was least interested in (since he wasn't in the front in other books), but he ended up being the one I felt the most about. He stole my heart. His abusive childhood, his not knowing how to read as an adult, his social skills, his insecurities of being seen as dumb...my heart bled for him.
And then there's a whole other half of the book about rich people being fucking sick, perverted and just plain crazy. Just WOW! The hate I felt for Allen...undescribable. Some people just need to stop breathing on a spot. Like yesterday.
Good book, with heart, horror, twisted plot and just plain fucked up real life.

Trainer is patched into the Road Kill MC club now. He is very tough but has had to be with the very hard life he has led. Always told he was dumb and stupid. And of course he believed it as when you are told something all of the time you believe it. He is illiterate but not stupid. Then he meets Krista, a special needs teacher. He has to attend class with her as part of his punishment for something he did. Then sparks fly between them. Can Krista help Trainer with what he needs? Once again a fabulous book in this wonderful series.
