Struggling film student Kitty Shakespeare is determined to make the most of her new job as nanny to major producer Everett Klein's son, Jonas. It might not be exactly the career she'd hoped for when she moved from London to LA, but thanks to her habit of freezing up in interviews, this is her last chance to impress a key player in Hollywood - if she can get this right, then surely he'll take a moment to look at her work. However, what Kitty hasn't allowed for is Everett's sexy-as-hell brother, Adam - but love at first sight this is not.
Adam Klein may be sexy, but he's also gruff and rude and in no way ready to make a fool of himself over the nanny - not after the year he's had. All he wants to do hole up in his cabin and hide from the brother who destroyed his life. If only he could find it easier to ignore the way Kitty makes his heart race . . .
As Christmas approaches, Kitty and Adam come to realise that the course of true love never does run smooth - and just maybe, it's more interesting that way...
A heartwarming Shakespeare Sisters Christmas romance from the bestselling author of Fix You.
Carrie Elks is an international bestselling author of traditionally-published and self-published novels. Her books are sweet yet sexy contemporary small town romance stories. You can find her in all these places:
This is a feel good festive romance set in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Virginia. I chose to read this book because the book cover is simply gorgeous and I could not resist, plus there were various Shakespeare references, including the title. Kitty Shakespeare is the youngest of 4 sisters, the others are Cesca, Juliet and Lucy, the eldest, their makeshift mother after the death of their mother. Kitty is British, and in the process of completing a film course in LA. She needs an internship, but is not good at interviews. After failing an interview, she is contacted to be a nanny for a short while to 7 year old Jonas in Virginia for the festive period. His parents, Everett and Mia, are too busy to look after him. Kitty meets Adam, Everett's brother, a well known documentary maker, and her first few meetings are fraught and argumentative. In addition, to complicate matters, Adam has a fiery and conflict ridden relationship with Everett which has involved a violent incident triggered by what Adam feels was a betrayal.
To avoid charges, Adam is seeing an anger management therapist on a mandatory basis whilst taking time out of his stressful career. Kitty and Adam get over their initial antipathy to embark on a covert affair, whilst ostensibly caring for a secret present for Jonas, a puppy that causes mayhem and havoc. However, the course of true love never does run smoothly. Each chapter begins with a quote from a Shakespeare play which charts the highs and lows of their love. Everett and Adam's relationship remains difficult, and Kitty is caught between the loyalty she owes her employer and her growing love for Adam. Adam will have to address his volatile temper and anger issues before their relationship can go forward. The picture perfect snow filled and icy location in the mountains is a sure fire winner for this time of year. This is a great festive read, heartwarming and entertaining. Many thanks to Little, Brown for an ARC.

The second book in Carrie Elks Shakespeare Sisters series, has a decidedly Christmassy feel to it, and I absolutely adored Kitty and Adam’s story.
You get the perfect combination, of drama, angst, familial battles, with a heavy dose of love and romance with this one. Plenty of snow, Christmas sparkle, sexy-times and a really likeable couple, all balanced out around a really well written story.
Home wasn’t where your blood was. It wasn’t even where your heart was. Home was where you felt accepted, love, at peace
I adore this author, and am loving how this series is growing and developing into something special with each new addition to it. Absent in the Spring gives us Lucy’s story next, and is due for release April 18.
ARC generously provided by the author, and it was a pleasure to provide the above review in exchange.
I have to admit I was a little nervous going into A Winter’s Tale as its predecessor and opening book in The Shakespeare Sisters series saw me clash somewhat with the characters. But there’s no finer feeling than realising a couple of chapters in that you’re well on the way to being taken to your happy place.
“Welcome to Cutler’s Gap. Home of Dead Deer and Sexy Bearded Assholes.
This book is the reason I love Carrie Elks writing: a couple to fall in love with, a magical romance, humour, a smattering of angst and those moments which leave a lump in your throat. I adored Kitty, empathising with her fears and loving her gentler nature, quiet determination and soft heart, but I’d be a liar if I said it wasn’t Adam that stole this book for me, because I have a particular affinity to brooding grumpy men.
Adam’s ongoing feud with his brother created just the right amount of tension and drama, but I loved how it never took the shine off the romance or the magical Christmas atmosphere, and as Kitty worked her way into his heart smoothing his harsher edges, the romantic in me sighed—they were wonderful together.
“I might be an asshole, but I’m not afraid to say when I’m wrong. And this time I’m definitely wrong.
This series may have had a shakier start for me, but all that didn’t work in Cesca’s story was righted by Kitty’s and I’m looking forward to seeing how Lucy and Juliet’s happy ever afters play out in 2018.

Kitty Shakespeare is a film student looking for an internship. After another disastrous interview, this time for producer Everett Klein’s company, she believes that she won’t be getting the job. Upon receiving a surprise phone call from Everett’s wife, Mia, her hopes are re-ignited, but they are soon dampened again when Mia is calling to offer Kitty the job of Nanny to her son Jonas.
With no other offers coming in Kitty agrees, which is how she finds herself heading to Cutler’s Gap, West Virginia a few weeks before Christmas. Unfortunately, travelling via the mountain pass, she hits a deer, her car refuses to start again, her phone isn’t working and no-one is around. She is also wearing unsuitable clothing for being stuck in the snow.
Adam Klein is the brother of Everett and is staying at Cutler’s gap, in a cabin by the lake. The brothers don’t see eye to eye and tensions are at boiling point between them. So when Adam is the one who ends up rescuing Kitty he takes an instant dislike to her as she is Everett’s employee.
Adam, though realises that Kitty isn’t like Everett’s other employees, but can he make amends and will she accept his apology after his rude, obnoxious behaviour towards her? Perhaps a puppy might help!!
A Winter’s Tale is the second book in The Shakespeare Sisters series, the first, Summer’s Lease I reviewed earlier in the year and loved it, so I couldn’t wait to get started on book two.
I absolutely love this book. From the start I was intrigued by Kitty. She is a delightful character and it’s lovely to see a ballsy woman who won’t take any rubbish from a man, even if he is god damn sexy.
Adam Klein has a tough exterior, but is a complete and utter softy at heart. He has trouble with trusting people and pushes people away to stop himself getting hurt.
From the moment that Kitty and Adam meet you sense that there is a spark between them, so I eagerly awaited their rendezvous.
The plot, scenery, character development and the descriptiveness all took me to a gorgeous cold snowy place far, far away from rainy Manchester, UK. This is a book that I could visualise perfectly.
This is a definite must read for anyone who loves romance/chick lit books. It is simply captivating, filled with drama and lots of passion. I now can’t wait to read book three.
A lovely heartwarming tale that is sure to melt your heart, Set against a beautiful snowy backdrop, this story of Kitty Shakespeare working as a nanny as she tries to get an internship will have you wondering if she will ever find her HEA. Her boss is none other than the head of the production company she wants to work for. She soon discovers that all is not a bed of roses as her boss and his wife are like ships that pass in the night with no time for their young son, her charge. When she crosses paths with Elliot's brother Adam, she's usually at the receiving end of his criticism. With Christmas approaching, it's not looking good for a merry one. I really enjoyed this story of the second Shakespeare sister and look forward to the next in the series.
Is it wrong that I want my first sentence of this review to include the words "wow that Adam is one of the sexiest main characters I've read for ages"?
I mean of all the many glowing things I want to stay about this book such was how the story grabbed me, and how much I enjoyed the characters and getting to know the youngest of the Shakespeare sisters, the first thing I have to comment on is the male lead.
Well lets continue in that vain then, he is living in a cabin by the lake of his parent's property, after a falling out with his brother led to him having to leave LA for a while. Due to the dual perspectives we see that Adam is in therapy and that there is more too him than his hermit like rugged good looks.
Within the first couple of meeting between Adam and Kitty there are plenty of sparks flying and that is before they even think about liking each other. For the first meeting Adam rescues Kitty, but thinks she is not suited to life in West Virginia.
Actually coming back to West Virginia, I believe this is the first book I have read that is set there, and I loved the remoteness of the Klein household. I am going to blame Carrie Elks for putting the song Country Roads into a loop in my head - as its the only reference I knew to West Virginia!
Kittie is a film student who is struggling to get an internship, but does end up being offered the job of nanny of the great Everett Klein's son Jonas. Jonas is a fabulous child but rarely gets much attention from his parents.
One of the funniest scenes involved Kittie, collecting all of Jonas' christmas presents from the airport and being given an surprise extra one to take home. Not only take back to the Klein's house, but also hide so its a surprise for Jonas. Just one small problem, this present has 4 legs, is prone to barking, and really dislikes travelling by car.
This is a book filled with laughter, good times, Christmas with a child, a rugged man that oozes sex appeal, some brotherly rivalry and just generally a great storyline. I was enjoying the book so much I genuinely had no idea what tube stop I was at...not sure what the person who was sitting next to me's excuse was though for also not knowing where we were!
Where was I?,,, ah yes hooked on a book on a tube, and thinking how wonderful I found A Winters's affair. This does read as a standalone but since these first two book are so great I would say make sure to read them all - and already looking forward to the third book and curious as to whether it is Juliet or Lucy's story next.
Thanks so much to Piatkus and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.
I read ‘Summer’s Lease, the first book in the Shakespeare Sisters series in June and I devoured it. I truly loved that book! So when I heard that ‘A Winter’s Tale, the second book in the Shakespeare Sisters series came out with a Christmas theme, my favorite holiday, I was beyond excited. And I was over the moon when I received an email with the question if I wanted to read this book. And when I received it, I started reading immediately.
In ‘A Winter’s Tale we meet Kitty Shakespeare. Kitty is the youngest of the Shakespeare sisters. Kitty has been living in L.A. for almost a year. It has been her dream as a film student to make it in the big city. But Kitty is struggling to get a new internship. Desperate Kitty accepts a job as nanny to major producer Everett Klein’s son, Jonas. This way Kitty hopes to impress the producer enough he considers her for internship. But when Kitty arrives in the cold and snow covered Blue Ridge Mountains she isn’t prepared for Everett Klein’s brother Adam. Adam is tall and handsome, but incredible rude to Kitty. But still, Kitty doesn’t seem to be able to forget him.
Well, I love books with a Christmas theme, and I loved the first book in this series so this book should be perfect for me. And it was. I loved every single page and I read it in a day. Kitty’s character is one I really loved. Kitty is a kind of shy, hardworking, beautiful, strong and a little naïve. And it was really fun to read about her. When Kitty met Adam she was completely in awe of him, even though he was really unkind. But being the good person she was, she tried to be kind to him and those first interactions between Kitty and Adam were really fun to read. I loved the way Kitty seemed to be in complete shock about someone like Adam liking her. I could honestly hear her say ‘You do? in my ear. Loved it!
Adam isn’t really a bad guy, but he has been through something terrible and after someone from his family betrayed him he doesn’t seem to be able to get past it. He leaves everything behind, and starts living in this cabin in the cold Blue Ridge Mountains. Adam is done with people and just wants to be left alone. But Kitty knocks him of his feet. And I loved being able to read this book from both his point of view and that of Kitty’s.
The romance and chemistry between Kitty and Adam was amazing and I loved reading every single page of ‘A Winter’s Tale. The scenery the author described was gorgeous and I definitely got this wintery Christmas feel while reading this book. This book definitely is another great one and I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing series.
*Book provided by the publisher in exchange for an honest review*
A Winter’s Tale is book two in the Shakespeare Sisters series. This time we are following Kitty Shakespeare, who lives in LA and is a film student. She is struggling to find an internship and then jumps at the chance of being a nanny for the Klein family over Christmas.
Everett Klein is a major producer, so the job might take her to the right direction eventually. Everett has a brother called Adam. They don’t have a great relationship, but live close to each other. This way Kitty gets to meet Adam.
They are not off to a great start. He seems rude, moody and arrogant. However, sparks definitely fly and they grow closer and closer. Things are not easy though, especially with Adam’s family involved.
The story is full of ups and downs, which makes it really exciting of course. I adored the scenes and moments Kitty and Adam shared and sometimes Jonas was there too, so wonderful.
Carrie Elks has a very smooth and heart-warming writing style. You get sucked into the story immediately and never want to leave again. The storyline has several levels and in the end everything comes together, it’s so gripping.
We also get to read about the other Shakespeare sisters as well, so we get to catch up with Cesca and I’m really looking forward about the other two sisters now. Can’t wait for their books.
This book is full of romance, passion, love and excitement. Carrie Elks is one talented author.
When Kitty was given the job of being nanny, to a big producer's son, she decided she had nothing to lose. What she hadn't planned on was falling in love with the brooding man living in the cabin. Will true love prevail? Or will secrets and lies, from the past, come between their happiness?
Another fabulous, beautiful, and enthralling romantic read from Carrie Elks. This second book in the Shakespeare Sisters series did not disappoint.
Kitty and Adam's story is a fun, heart-warming, Christmas story. Whilst reading this story, I'm pretty sure I wore a huge smile on my face, for most of the time. It was hard not to get swept up into the fun they had together and the obvious attraction they shared. Once they tore down the walls they had put up, they brought out the best in each other, they brought life back into their lives and lived for each day.
This sweet festive story had characters I loved, some I disliked, and some I wanted to throttle. One character, in particular, was really sweet, and very wise for their young age; considering the atmosphere around them, they still found the interest, and the energy to enjoy the festivities around them, and their little heart held so much love for everyone.
I truly enjoyed this second book in the Shakespeare Series. If you enjoy contemporary, comedy romance stories, A Winter's Take is for you.
The second instalment in the Shakespeare sisters' series, as we meet Kitty the youngest sister, and every bit as good as the first... exactly what I was hoping for from Carrie - relatable characters, intrigue, and descriptions that took me right to the little cabin in the woods, where I'd love to be holed up with Adam Klein myself!! Who doesn't like a "bearded a**hole" .. troubled, with a mystery in his past, a gruff manner, but oh so sexy as hell! ? It wasn't in Kitty's plans to spend her Christmas break away from home, nannying for a family she didn't know, it certainly wasn't her intention to get dragged into the Klein family drama, or find herself smitten with said "bearded a**hole" but that's what happened and whilst she loved looking after her charge, Jonas, her Christmas was about to get a whole lot more complicated. Totally loved that it wasn't all plain sailing, a HEA doesn't ever come without a bit of angst, but I was rooting for Kitty as she was such a lovable character. Loved meeting the other sisters again and cant wait for Lucy and Juliet's stories!
Carrie Elk’s newest book is A Winter’s Tale. It’s a book of finding love, learning to forgive, and discovering that sometimes, not everything is the way it seems. I loved Adam and Kitty’s story. She is feisty and strong—despite the fact there are people in her life who could make it easy for her, she is determined to make it on her own, even if she has to return to a former career for a while. Adam is bitter and jaded, angry at the world, especially his brother. It takes a lot for him to step away from that bitterness and come to terms with his life, his family, and the fact he has lost his heart. Carrie’s weaves a wonderful tale. The weather is cold, the friction is hot, and the story is beautifully told. A five star read for me.
Another fab tale about the Shakespeare sisters - this time about the youngest, Kitty.
Love the quotes at the start of each chapter, along with the fabulous characters including the brooding Adam, the gorgeous young Jonas and the warmth of housekeeper Annie.
There’s also something very alluring about the vulnerability of Kitty.

Welcome to Cutler's Gap. Home of sexy bearded a**holes.
Perfect Christmas read. And romance... I could totally picture myself in Kitty Shakespeare's winter shoes 😉.
Me, being superstitious ( aka believe that I should cross from last to new year reading a perfect love story), think that romance will be blooming all year long.
I wasn't aware this book was part of a series when I started it, and I have to admit I think it works perfectly as a stand alone novel.
One of my biggest bug bears with romance novels is that they have romances I don't believe in, characters I could never see being together, and whose chemistry just isn't there. That was absolutely not the case with this novel. Carrie managed to create two such believable lead characters that their ups and downs and will they, won't they end up together really had me routing for them.
Reading this book I could feel the crackle of electricity between Adam and Kitty, that spark of something you can't ignore. Who can blame Kitty for wanting to enjoy Adam, who let's be honest is possibly the sexiest male lead I have read in a very long time. Tall, dark, strong, brooding and handsome, I can imagine most women reading this book were wishing he would come and sweep them off their feet and back to his cabin by the lake. Thank you Carrie for giving me a couple I could believe in, I smiled, laughed and I have to admit to shedding a tear while they fought their growing feelings for each other.
The setting for this novel is a very snowy West Virginia and I have to say Carrie knows how to set a scene, I really found myself sucked into the cold winter vibe of this novel, I was imagining the scenes where Kitty and Jonas are out sledging and could almost feel the cold air. I found myself wishing I could enjoy one of Annie's hot chocolates in the warm Klein house kitchen.
Another character I adored in this novel was little Jonas, his open heart and his relationship with Kitty was beautiful. I found myself hoping he had the best Christmas ever, surrounded by a family who adored him. His excitement over Christmas was great, and the fun he had with Kitty warmed my heart.
The family tension between Adam and Everett, the sparks of romance and lust between Kitty & Adam, as well as the clearly fraught marriage between Everett & his wife Mia makes the Klein Christmas a very interesting affair. Will all of them survive Christmas day unscathed?
This is my first Carrie Elks novel, but it definitely won't be my last - I am heading off to search out the first of The Shakespeare sisters series. A wonderful story to warm your heart on a cold winters day, full of love, lust, laughter and a whole host of family drama. I will be honest it was a book that kept me up until 2am reading, just to see what happened in the end. I fell in love with the characters of A Winters Tale and I hope you will too.
Thankhyou to Piatkus & NetGalley for providing me this copy for an honest review.
Ooo. Move over Kitty Shakespeare I want to meet Adam Klein! I so adored Summer’s Lease that I was slightly apprehensive at reading this second Shakespeare Sisters book from Carrie Elks in case I was disappointed. I wasn’t!
Although the genre suggests that there is likely to be a happy ever after ending in A Winter’s tale, the plot is so well constructed that it’s a real joy finding out how the story will progress. I was completely intrigued by the mystery behind Adam and Everett’s feud and Carrie Elks writes so tantalisingly that she almost torments the reader as they find out snippets at the same time as Kitty. I love Carrie Elks style. Her writing is smooth as silk so that it feels grown up and sophisticated even when she’s conveying the most basic of human instincts and passions. The variety of sentence length, the use of occasional judicial ellipsis, the realistic dialogue and of course the wonderful choice of quotation from Shakespeare at the start of each chapter lend the story credibility and depth. Reading A Winter’s Tale is the women’s fiction equivalent of sinking into a perfect temperature bubble bath lit by candles with a glass of champagne on the side.
There is also a fabulous balance of perspective from Adam and Kitty making for brilliant insight into their minds and giving the reader a sense that they themselves are almost part of the action. I certainly felt Kitty’s physical attraction to Adam.
Characters are built up in stages too, just like the plot ,so that the reader gets to know them gradually. It’s a real treat to have them gradually revealed through their actions and dialogue with a sophistication sometimes missing from this genre. As in Summer’s Lease, there is quite an explicit exploration of sexual activity, but it is never gratuitous and is always beautifully handled, feeling intimate and appropriate.
I’m absolutely delighted I’ve discovered Carrie Elks’s Shakespeare Sisters. I think both Summer’s Lease and A Winter’s Tale are perfect escapist reads with just the right level of realism to make them ideal for readers who want sensuality, passion and a fabulous read.
A Winter's Tale is everything and more that I have come to expect from this amazing and talented author. Carrie Elks has a genuine knack for writing such gripping stories that seamlessly captivate your imagination and easily immerse you into the world that she has created. I am a total sucker for a Christmas romance, and this one didn't disappoint in any way with all it's holiday charm and it's setting of being in the snowy mountains of Virginia, is such a magical touch. It even comes complete with it's very own grumpy alpha mountain man who lives in a cabin in the woods, he is a handsome man with a body to die for but with the personality of a caveman. This prime piece of hotness is Adam Klein. Kitty Shakespeare arrives on the mountain to be a temporary nanny to Jonas, Adams nephew. She is such a great character and I loved her genuine caring spirit throughout the story. Not only is she a smart and beautiful woman, she seems to be the only one who is able to get through to Adam by slowly breaking down his defences with her kind and understanding nature, she gets right under his skin and starts to make him see all that he is missing out on after a major falling out with his brother. I have got to give a shoutout to Annie the Klein families cook and housekeeper, she is an amazing and loveable character that features a lot in the story. She is always there in the background with words of wisdom and advice and is always in the kitchen baking cookies adding a little extra holiday cheer to the story. There is also an underlying dark backstory within this book to do with Adam and his work, it’s a little gritty and hard to read about but it was superbly written and added a lot more depth and drama to the story that would of otherwise been all hearts, cinnamon spice and fluffy romantic gestures. This is a great story with plenty of plot drama and fun and frolics too! I have become a firm fan of this series and of Carrie's writing, I really can't wait for the next book as I have enjoyed them all so much. A brilliant 5 Stars read!
What would you do if you’ve been trying to find an internship for ages but your shyness seems to get in the way? That’s Kitty Shakespeare’s predicament when, instead of an internship, she’s offered the chance to be a nanny over Christmas to the son of a hot (though notoriously difficult) Hollywood star. Not an ideal situation, but Kitty takes it and hopes it will help her get her foot in the door. What she isn’t counting on is totalling her rental car once she arrives in West Virginia. Luckily, a sexy but taciturn stranger comes to her rescue.he’s a bit of a jerk, but at least he gets her to her destination. That stranger turns out to be Adam Klein, documentary filmmaker and estranged brother of her employer. Yes, sparks are going to fly and you’ll love it.
A Winter’s Tale is the second story in the Shakespeare Sisters series and it’s a wonderful Christmas love story set in the Blue Ridge Mountains (which are beautifully described in the novel). When I was reading A Winter’s Tale, I forgot I was reading a book—I felt like I was immersed in one of my favourite Christmas movies. I loved it. I started picturing Tom Hardy as Adam Klein…yes, my imagination got the best of me. :-) It’s a great opposites attract story that’s heartwarming, funny and sexy at the same time.
I loved the scenes between Kitty and Annie, the housekeeper who keeps all the Klein family secrets, and little Jonas is such a sweetie you wish you could give him a hug through the pages. But the very rugged Adam Klein is deliciously sexy—yes, you’ll wish you could spend Christmas with him.
So should you read A Winter’s Tale? Absolutely! And will you love it? Yes, I am pretty sure you will! And even though A Winter’s Tale is the second book in the series, it reads like a standalone, so it’s okay if you haven’t read the first book (Summer’s Lease), but I think you’ll want to read it too.
My rating? Five stars, without a doubt.
Note: I received an ARC from the publisher, which I voluntarily chose to review.
I loved this story, well who wouldn’t; it has snow, Christmas, love, angst, misunderstanding, a sexy man and a puppy…I mean what is not to love!!
Carrie Elks story grabbed me from page one and I couldn’t put it down. This is the second book in the Shakespeare Sisters series, though they are standalone books, and I enjoyed it just as much as the first one, Summer Lease. It is so well written and the story flows effortlessly.
Kitty Shakespeare is great, I really loved her character. She is landed with the job as a nanny and takes it in the hope of getting a film internship which she desperately needs to stay in LA. She doesn’t expect to end up in the back of beyond with a family who has a lot of conflicts going on, or to meet the brooding mountain man, who has to rescue her.
What she doesn’t expect to have to deal with though is the rather rude and not to mention sexy, younger brother to her employer. Adam has a lot on his mind and dealing with his brother being home, his mother in hospital and now the new nanny being around the place is more than he is ready to cope with. I did like Adam, I felt for his dilemmas and his situation. Carrie Elks writes her characters so well; it is hard not to fall in love, or hate, with them.
Each chapter begins with a Shakespeare quote which I really enjoyed. It gave you a hit of what might happen.
This is the perfect read, to be curled up in front of a fire with mug of hot chocolate on a winter’s evening. I can't wait to read the other sister's stories.
Kitty was in need of a job but didn’t expect the one she was about to start, or who she would meet along the way in the snowy town...
Excerpt: Welcome to Cutlers Gap. Home of Dead Dear and Sexy Bearded A$$holes.
Kitty - This comedic leading woman was smart, sassy and most of all true to herself. A true leading lady. She definitely provided some laugh-out-loud moments that made me adore her all the more.
Excerpt: There’s nothing wrong with a little romance. There’s nothing wrong with hoping for the fantasy either. Just as long as today don’t let it blind you to the dark side. All the best fairy tales have bad guys, after all. Romance isn’t about pretending they don’t exist, it’s about defeating them.
Yes ladies, prepare to swoon!! Adam Klein is a well known documentary maker and about to turn Kitty’s world upside down over her first Christmas away from home.
As the pair navigate deer, puppies and moronic siblings, you travel on their journey of highs and lows all the while enjoying the authors magical story telling abilities. This is my third read by Carrie Elks and they just keep getting better.
Winter's Tale is the perfect book. A young woman trying to make her way through the world, if only one person will give her the chance. Kitty takes on a job as a nanny to get her buy for a few weeks. She loves the family she works for. She never excepted to start to like her boss' younger, grumpier brother, Adam. Kitty never expects to fall in love. But, she falls and she falls hard! Things happen, literally!
Another sweet and sizzling story from Carrie Elks' Shakespeare Sisters series, set in Winter with stunning snowy scenery and cabin chic it has everything you'd want to curl up cosy with & escape for a few hours
An absolutely delightful story. As with every one of this amazing, exceptionally talented author’s books, be prepared for beautiful prose, and romantic swoon worthy moments, including a breathtaking first kiss! (Sigh) Absolutely loved it! 5 stars from me!
