Everyone has dark moments in their life that we sometimes wish we could erase or forget. But sometimes it's the pain and struggle that we have gone through that gave us our inner strength.

For me, writing started as a way to confront some of the demons of my past so that I could put them behind me forever. Most of my characters have a dark or troubled past and my books follow their progress as they emerge from the darkness that has held them down for so long.

As the darkness fades, hope for a better future starts to emerge (like the sun after a storm). A piece of my soul goes into each one of my books, and my hope and faith in a brighter tomorrow is reflected in each one of my characters.

Books have always been a source of escape and enjoyment for me, so I hope that my work can help others in the same way:-)

This book was so much better than one and two. C.C. Masters rediscovered her individuality and made her stamp on the storyline. I look forward to seeing what comes next.

I don't know... I liked the first two books more than I did this one.

Don't get me wrong there were aspects I liked: (1) we saw her powers develop and strengthen, and (2) we got to see the lessons that made this happen; but I just couldn't connect with her journey. I felt like I was reading it rather than being on the journey with her. And it's probably because of the training itself. Anna is supposed to be really powerful but that training was too one dimensional for the complexity of Anna's powers. She needed to be challenged more physically, mentally, and emotionally. I was expecting her to have broken limbs, mental anguish, feelings of hopelessness and anger, being brought to her knees - humbling experiences, if you will. Then moments of clarity and awakening. After which I had expected to see a diamond come out of the rough, so that when she finally unleashed her powers; I would be biting my nails, gripping the edge of my chair and excited as hell for her and with her.

Another point to mention was that the plot in this one took a drastic, and I mean drastic shift!

The writing style was still good. I can see the author building up for the next book but book 3 needed more "form".

I liked this one least, in the series so far. We're mostly away from the pack, and the fae stuff didn't really engage me - I found them all awful and annoying. Plus, Anna went along with their manipulations to a really annoying degree. Like, she was told that what Drake was doing could cause a bond, but she keeps doing it? He attacks her, mentally rapes her, but she just carries on? This is a woman who suffered a lot of abuse in her past. I didn't buy her shrugging that shit off, and just moving on with her day. And I really, really don't understand why she didn't kill Drake, after everything he did. And why she took Talen. I would never have agreed to that deal. I'd tell daddy dearest that I was done doing things his way, and that if he didn't take me home I'd kill him too. No bargains and no fae babysitters. Fuck them all.

Also, I want to like Austin, but so far he feels more standoffosh than James. I'm not feeling it.

Oh, and lastly... Look, this series played in Mary Sue territory before with Anna, but here's where we full-on blasted across the line. Like, she is now some super uber powerful badass. Sadly, it's made her dumber - see above.

This was a fabulous read in the series, with Anna going from strength to strength and my only complaint is that it wasn’t longer. The plot substantially thickens and I can’t wait for the next novel.

I wasn't entirely sure about picking this back up after giving Finding Somewhere to Belong 2 stars and Finding the Fire Within 3 stars but I'm glad I did, while sweet and enjoyable they didn't really inspire

This one has made a fan of me

I shocked myself at how much enjoyed it actually

I thought going in the whole "kidnapping at trying to get back to her pack" would annoy me but it has forced Anna to become a better stronger character, she is much less irritating by the end and actually becomes likeable!

Learning to use her powers and connect with her wolf also means more action in the foreseeable future, instead of standing behind the pack she can now hold her own and more!

the addition of a few new characters at the end should make things very interesting in the next one!

Feeling disappointed

Guys!!! I'm really gonna say the words I never thought I would ever utter, "I did not care for this read (sighing). Now I loved the first two, but this one seemed to really get under my skin and made me angry. I wanted to see the fight I knew Anna had! Not tears, I wanted her anger! And yet when we got it, it just seemed to late for me personally. She trusted to easy, and I hated her for it. This is 3 1/2 stars for me. Very disappointed

The story continues

Well I liked this book in series but found it lacked something.... don’t know what.... but I got more interested towards the end then the beginning and middle. I guess the whole adduction felt more like a set up/foreshadowing then part of the storyline flow as the previous books in the series have been. I did enjoy the ending and I won’t tell you what it is. So no spoilers from me. I will want to read next book and series as there are new characters in which I want to see how the author uses them and places them within the story.... love series though.

I liked the changes in Anna in comparison to the second book - she accepts her confidence and that she's stronger without trying to overpush it, and most of the military order of things has been left out fortunately. The Fae world was more interesting than frustrating since she learned a lot about her own abilities, but it helped bringing in one of the pack to keep that bond in mind. Jason and Mason still remain my favorite - the greeting and reunifying scene was so adorable, and that shower scene = whoah. Shapeshifter politics take a backseat to fae politics this time. Full review to come.

I am truly loving this series, itnis exciting as all get out with great characters and a superb storyline. Anna is on a real journey of self discovery and learning about all the facets that make her who she is. Her pack is extremely loving and will do anything for Anna. I cannot wait for book four, this series is such an awesome read

I don't know why, but this book just didn't do it for me. I really enjoyed the first two books, but here I just couldn't make myself care enough about what was happening.
In terms of a plot and writing I have no complaints, but the characters themselves and their actions just rubbed me the wrong way. And I really did not like Anna here. There were times where I just wanted to shake her and make her pay attention to what was going on around, because it was as though Anna was blind to things that were right in front of her. I liked the fact that she finally broke out of her shell and all, but in some aspects she's still incredibly naive.
Her father I don't like. I'm not sure what his deal is, but he's definitely up to no good. And I highly doubt that he's actually harboring any sorts of fatherly feelings toward Anna.
I do hope that there is more to Prince Drake that meets the eye though. He seems as though he could be an interesting character to read about, so I hope we see more of him in the future. And please, be on Anna's side. I don't want him to be a villain.

So, to sum things up, this book wasn't everything I hope it would be. But I will read the next one, seriously hoping that it'll get better.

Ok, I love this story however, this book... I think it was an unnecessary detour. I love the pack, and even the witch and lamia involvement, and even the fae aren't too bad but, there just felt like there was something missing. something that didn't make the whole book come together. Please tell me I am not the only person that felt this.

I wish I could describe what has me concerned but, I just can't.

I am glad she is home now but, again, that discontent has followed her home and I am so confused.

Also, it's the 3rd book and tech, although she has made connections, she has not yet "mated" with any of the guys. She has slept with them, sure but, official announcements have not yet been made. It's annoying.

Again, please keep in mind that I do like her story but, COME ON!

Also, I have already started book 4 and she is apparently involved in the bond now but, what happened? How did the bonding go down? I feel cheated. :( I wanted to "feel" the bond being put into place.

Sigh... I really hope I haven't insulted anyone but, my job as a reader, and reviewer, is to tell the author, and other readers, my honest opinion.

Thanks for reading!

Look Im going to be honest. I do not remember the last two books.. I read the last book in February.. which isn't too long ago but I have also read like 300 books since then. I thought once I started reading this one that I would remember everything that happened and I did remember some things but not everything. And I couldn't remember "her guys'" personalities. So I was a bit confused but here the thing I still really, really enjoyed the heck out of this book. I flew through it and I was into every moment. So what does that say? I have no idea. maybe that the author is a killer writer. Maybe that the characters speak to me, even without remembering every single thing about them. Maybe all that and more. Yup.

Aaaaaannd I need the next book right now.
This was such a big stepping stone for Anna and her boys.
She grew so much in this book. I love her determination to be better.
The only thing that were a little lackluster were the action scenes. And some of her time with Cody, I would have loved something more, I don't know what but a little bit more. Her reunion with Mason and Jason was absolutely spot on and I couldn't ask for a better scene.
I want to see more of her with Caleb, Austin and James now.
This series has so much more to give and I can't wait to read it all.

So so glad she made it back to her guys and safely. I still don’t trust her dad and am waiting to see what he is hiding. I am really glad the guys don’t treat her any differently knowing she has more magic.

Girl Power 💪

Supernatural. Rh. Multiple POV. Fae. Werewolves. Alpha pack. 6 wolves. Hybrid heroine. Following Anna's kidnapping into the fae realm and the guys rescue plans. You'll find Anna finds herself in this instalment and it's glorious. One of my favorite series. Recomended read.

There was just so much more room for action. A lot of the book was just planning & the rescue could’ve been way more epic than them just bringing her back. Also she says this is a new version of herself but she doesn’t stand up for herself in most instances. It’s annoying

The story was okay. I don't feel like Anna matured much in this book. She's still pretty naive when it comes to people and very awkward when it comes to the guys. I didn't like that she was away from the guys for pretty much the entire book. I'm glad that she got to learn about her powers and I hope that she continues to get stronger and stronger in that regard. I felt like at times she let the Prince Drake in too much when she already knew not to trust the Fae. There were somethings that Anna should have understood that she didn't. I hope that maybe Prince Drake may have some good in him but at this point, I have no idea.

I was glad that she was able to be reunited with at least one of her guys before the end of the book. It’s so stupid to me that Anna was mad about the guys talking about her. It's not as if they were talking about her in a negative way. If they all liked her, it's reasonable for them to put that out there. She made that way bigger than it needed to be. They only agreed that they all wanted her and want to make her happy. It's always weird to me when people want to pry into someone's past relationships. Anna ask's about Cody’s past relationships and because he hadn’t had serious relationships, she assumed that he wasn’t serious about her. She said she knows what happens when a boy and girl really like each other. Anna continues to act and speak like a 13 year old. I feel like some of the guys do as well yet they're all in their 20s. I hope they mature as far as their relationships with Anna goes in the next book. I did like how it ended and I'm glad that Anna is beginning to get out of her shell more and accept all sides of herself.

Narration: Em Eldridge, Aaron Shedlock - Narration was okay. I read most of it and listened to some parts.

Slow burn ? Wet matches ....

Dear lord,I’ve come to HATE ,dearly HATE the term “slow burn......
In my mind “slow burn means just taking your time to build up the relationship between the H and h or h and her multiple H’s,but you still have good chemistry between them while building an intimacy between them getting a closeness form soo when sex finally happens it makes sense, and is fulfilling on every level because we waited and watched while they worked up to it ....
I get that ,makes sense and it done right can be soo organic and beautiful and thrilling !
But as too often is the case when the h is introduced to all her men at once instead of layering them one at a time and building her relationships with them individually ,she’s tasked with trying to build multiple relationships simultaneously, individually and together and honestly that sounds like a lot of work for both a h and er writer but. I’ve seen a few rare times where it was done and done well....
Soo what my prob?
This feels all s l o w but very little burn,I mean two books in with Anna stil blushing nearly constantly and even after playing around with James some and having sex the twins ,she still blushes like a school girl never been kissed and can feel/act awkward when naked with the guys.....
Having sexy with them one minute and acting like just kinda like their friend/buddy/pal the next and the next being all growly and possessive....
Slow “burn should be with sex yes but thee relationship/s clear and straightforward but I’m just not feeling ,plus it doesn’t help that it reminds me a lot off two other series I’ve read I was be parts by Kristen Banet ( think I git that right ) and Tate James..
Interesting story at times but the connections feel more off than on at times, I don’t really see good solid relationships being made, too but and miss ...
Anna seems to be progressing well in some ways and like a sick snail in the winter time in others....
I liked this soo far and found it hard to put down but at the same time , I can’t say I truly enjoyed myself and I am walking away rather unsatisfied.....
At this point I have no real plans to continue with my journey in these books...
Thank you dear writer I know this isn’t an easy thing to do ,congrats on all you’ve accomplished 🌹

Her again, there again, back again, Anna-gin

Anna was taken by the Fae. Right in front of her pack. And worse, the guy who stole her away is supposed to be her long lost father? Instead of a welcome home in the Fae realm she's locked away and set up to work on her abilities with the prince. Someone who's more than a little dark and twisty. The people here are all hiding something, but she can't figure out what. Meanwhile the pack is frantic. Female wolves are precious, Anna even more so because she's theirs. But how do wolves track and fight against magic? There's stories about the white wolves but is there any truth to them?

Spoilers ahead.
This got crazy fast. I almost wish she'd done it like she did 1&1.5. That way It would be mostly from Anna's POV and then the novella would show what the guys had been doing in the in between time. Also, that bit of Sam's POV? Why didn't she do James' instead? It would have been more heartwarming to feel James' joy at seeing Anna again. I'd rather have some Sam and guys novellas in between the Anna ones or as a branch off series. The bit with the Fae, the courts, the lamia, the witches, the Council, the white wolves, the mystery of Gemma, Morpheus, the debt that's never explained, the humans being brainwashed by the Fae, the time discrepancies between the realms, ... It all goes bonkers fast and leaves the readers overwhelmed trying to take it all in. The jumping POVs don't help. I have enjoyed the series so far. Seeing Anna develop and stretch was great. She came pretty far in this book but it almost got lost in the jumble.

What a let down this book is.

I LOVED the first two books of the series so much so that I rated both 5 stars, something I've only done for my favorite books. That is how much I thoroughly enjoyed Book 1 & 2.

I'm very fond of heroines like Anna who is very sweet and shy but has a strong will and mind underneath all the insecurities and fear. I adore all her boys, all their distinct personalities, and her special connection with each of them. That's why I didn't like the fact that Anna spent so much time away from them for almost the entirety of the book, just to learn all about her powers.

The intimate scenes also got boring for me. It felt like it's all the same no matter the partner, which is sad because it's one of the things I'm looking forward to, how each boys will handle 'innocent' Anna.

I skipped many pages, took the gist and proceeded to read the last 5 chapters where all the important bits happened and I didn't feel like I missed much from the story.

And so... I'm done with this series for now. I have nothing to look forward to in the next books. Disappointing, considering how engrossed I was at the beginning. I truly thought I've found a new addition to my Favorite Series list. Unfortunately, it seems not today.

I really love this series guys. C.C. Masters does an excellent job of introducing us to this beautifully scarred female lead that yeah she does have a bad past but she does not let that define her. Anna really becomes a force to be reckoned with in Finding the Power Within. Such a great title, because that is what happens. She finds her fire, her acceptance, her loves, and her will. Each chapter in this series is a stepping stone on leading her on this path, which she boldly walks down. I just love this character so much. And the guys, the chemistry between her and all of them is hot. I don't know which one I like the best, I just like them each for their individual personalities. James, Austin, Cody, Caleb, Mason and Jason are each exactly what Anna needs. Anna had filled holes in their pack that they did not realize was missing, they will do anything to get her back. Going back and forth between the POV's was not confusing at all and enhanced the story more. There is an introduction into a new character which I hated on site, as did someone else, which will lead perfectly into book 4. Overall FTPW was a must read addition to this series, and one not to miss.

The wait was well worth it! Enjoyed reading Anna grow out of her shell.

Believe me when I say I love Anna even during her shyest moments before. But I admit there are a lot of advantages to her growth, too. She became more initiative, confident and stronger not only physically but psychologically. Albeit, she didn't turn to all of these naturally. More like she had to due to her circumstances aka the kidnapping and the harsh environment in the fae realm.

A shame we hadn't had much of the guys except for the few POVs where they ran haggard and distressed.

I kind of...liked...Prince Drake. /runs away from witch hunt. Maybe I'm just wired like that, falling for the twisted ones. Fml. But I really dig him. I was wondering if the author is open to consider a hero out of the pack. Either way, I'm cool

What I wasn't cool for and wasn't excited for us this Gemma girl and Talen. Now what are these characters up to huhuhuhu at least give Anna and her guys a breathing moment together? Pretty please? (I'm obviously not above begging)

Like others who dont like this book I just cant let go of the dramatic turn in content it took, everything in this book just feels so forced as if the Author suddenly realized the ending to this series and started hastly creating content to try and get to it.

To be blunt the anger comes from the terrible way to Author created the father and the situation around him, its not mysterious or thought provoking its just poorly written. To often the reader knows what Anna would actualy do or say in a situation but the author has to make her behave completly different to fit the ending. No way in hell does a R@ victim just let go what Morphues did to her in her dreams, and she would never forgive her father for not killing him instantly. The Mary Sue ending is the worse and how she agress to the baby sitter just because again the author needs them (the fae) there for future story telling but couldnt create a creative way to have the situation come about.

Good read

It took me a little longer to really settle into this book. I wasn’t entirely comfortable with the fae aspect of it I think.

That said, overall this book was an enjoyable read and it was interesting. I like seeing Anna really come into her own. She seemed to really accept her wolf side this time and I found it nice to see her let go of her past. Cody was a surprisingly nice part of this book and I found I liked him even more. James still intrigues me and I hope to see him a little more. I’m curious about Sam too.

The writing was good though I felt it could have done with a little more proofreading to tidy it up a bit.

This was a good read and I am looking forward to more.

Mmmm... what a shame.
I liked the previous books. Getting to know the men at a sweet pace that was not insta love but that was getting somewhere.
With this one it just got unecesarily complicated. I didn't feel like working through all that new drama, I just wanted to see the natural developement of their relationship (the changes in James and Anna's personal growth too).
We do get somewhere with the twins and all that, but still, not my cup of tea for what I was expecting to find.
I just wanted a sweet easy read.
Still recommended because its well written, it's just that I wasn't feeling like it with the way it changed and evolved.

I love this series but I was bored by most of the book. I didn’t really get into it until the meeting with the king. Usually you feel like you are in Anna’s shoes. The operative word being “feel. I kept putting the book down. Then coming back to it hoping it would get better. I needed it to be frustrating, more intricate. I wanted more of the puzzle to be revealed or sought. It felt like a switch was suddenly flipped. I wanted to feel more of the journey from unsure Anna to take control Anna. Kinda felt gypped. Like I was told her journey happened instead of feeling and watching it happen. Still cannot wait for the next one.

I was a but disappointed in this installment of the seaside wolf back series. I expected more out of this book especially since we waited so long for it to be released. Considering the book only takes place over the course of 3 days I felt like it was more a filler. I think that there was a lot of unanswered questions from book 2 that were just dismissed or barely acknowledged. In my opinion this entire book felt rushed and because I’m such a huge fan of the author I was incredibly disappointed. With the second book being so much about Anna becoming a stronger, bolder more independent anna. To see her regress was disappointing
