Russian Bratva #11

Collared by the Badman

Rate this book
Sergei Orlov has lived a life of dark corruption. Denying himself any bit of normalcy and happiness as a way to protect his family—of blood or Bratva. He’s seen as a savior to his men, living in darkness behind closed doors.

Raisa was a girl sold into a life of sexual servitude. Memories of her life before—forgotten. She aspires to be cherished by a man who will forever keep her as his own, never to be sold, abused, or traded again.

A favor asked, turns into something else, something unquestionably beautiful. Sergei cannot deny that Raisa stirs something inside of him. Something that he has never felt before.

One fractured savior. One shattered soul. When the two collide, their lives take on new meaning.

Still read in 2018.

I do not know what to say. Let's just leave it at the fact that my reviews for the book 1 and 2 pretty much sum up my problems with this whole series. Because in all honesty, there is not a lot of difference between the 11 books in this series.

To be honest, at this point I was very tired, and I only wanted to finish this series.

Almost considered giving this an extra star just because this is the only book where the female character does not end up being pregnant.

Me after finishing the last book this author released “This is the best book Hayley Faiman has ever written!
To which Hayley Faiman responded with the book equivalent of “Hold my beer. And flat out proved that we haven’t seen anything yet when I comes to her talent.
I fell in love with things I never thought I would reading Collared by the Badman. These characters and Hayley’s writing are just so absolutely incredible things I typically shy away from became something I loved in this book. Seriously. I am blown away. My exact response to trying to write this review was “I can’t word because the book was too good. The point to all this rambling is bear with me while I try to pull my brain back into the real world after being lost in Sergei and Raisa for hours.
Their story is not for the faint of heart. Blending dark and sweet so seamlessly in a beautiful, complex, passionate, and raw story that steals your breathe as it steals your heart. I was left swooning over a man for reasons I never had before when it came to Sergei. Living up to all that the Bratva is, he is not an easy or gentle man in the least, but the way he is with Raisa? *sigh* it made my heart soar. There is no easy, sweet path for these two but that doesn’t take away from them being one of the most magnificent couples I’ve ever read.
Raisa and all she goes through is a hard pill to swallow. Multiple times I was left with my heart aching for her. All she endures doesn’t stop her from being stronger than nearly every heroine I’ve ever read. She truly is Sergei’s perfect match in every sense.
Overflowing with serious, and I mean SERIOUS heat, intense emotion, and edge of your seat action this book is a nonstop roller coaster that I never wanted to end!

I am to start me review off a little bit differently than I normally do but, after reading this story I was so emotional hyped up and my emotions all over the place that I posted in Hayley's fb group just to tell her how much I loved the story before writing this review here it is ....

Hayley Faiman its no secret how much I love your books but,I have to say Collared by the Badman floored me.I am still reeling from it.I have so many emotions going on inside of me that I can't even put them into words but, out of all the books I have read this story affected me emotionally more than any others that you have written and I think its your best yet.No other book other than my favorite book of all time Outlander by Diana Gabaldon has effected me this way so and that is saying something just what an awesome writer you are.Awesome Awesome Job.I loved it as it was tragic, dark, terrifying, emotional, heart wrenching and so much more....Glued to the pages to the very end! We love you!

After digressing this story several hours later I just read and so many hours later I am still reeling from this story.I have to say that if a author is still able to capture your intention and has you still thinking of the story hours later it truly was beautifully written.

After talking to Hayley after my response she told me that she never really planned ever to write this story and that would have been an absolute shame and we are so glad she did as it was Fantastic!!!!!

I really don't no where to start and tell you how much I loved the story from beginning to end.I was captivated from the onset of Sergi taking Raisa home.I am going to be honest and say that I was having doubts that I was going to make it to the end of the story as the story had me edgy and a bit shaky because the content was so dark and heart wrenching but, when Sergi took it upon himself to avenge a women who he new so little about I was all in.

I always pick a favorite character in a story but, this time around its impossible to do as Sergi's small circle of close friends and family made me love them all the more as their loyalty to him was so touching.I loved how from the beginning of Raisa entering all their lives they new she would be his one and only not only that but, how all of them became so protective of her . "It was so touching, It made me tear up more than once."

Raisa was just an unbelievably strong women and I myself would have never been able to survive the horrors she experience in her life.My heart broke for her and remained broken the entire story.

Sergi OMG !

"He was hotter that hot in this story!"I experienced his pain as well what a lonely life for him never being able to love anyone with putting them in danger and never being able to show even a hint of emotion at all always having to play the role of a monster just to survive. Sergi was no saint that is for sure but, It was really nice to see that he had a heart and that he was able to feel something even if he has have to mask those feelings and keep those feelings to himself.I loved his struggle as he worked his way through what he was feeling for Raisa and what she really meant to him.

As the story progressed the story got hotter and hotter. Omg ! the sex scenes super hot. This story is not for the faint of heart as it is very dark and unless you are enmeshed in a lifestyle such Sergi and Raisa you would truly never really understand it but,the depth of emotions it causes the person reading it to feel and that those feelings are all over place and sometimes overwhelming even. I personally could never imagine anyone freely living a lifestyle of and owner/slave relationship but, after reading Raisa's story there would be no other way for her to function without this kind of a relationship and without it she would never truly survive any other way.I am happy though through all the darkness, heartbreak, horror's she endured that she was able for once in her life experience some sort of happiness and once she had a glimpse of it not wanting to take it to heart as she was constantly waiting for it to be riped a way at and minute.Just heartbreaking you just want the tears to fall with her as she sits there and sheds them to rid the pain in of all that's in her heart.....

Tissues! Tissues! Tissues!

A compelling heart wrenching story not to be missed!!!!!

A recommended read to all! 5 stars form us

The final book in the Russian Bratva series is here. This makes me both happy and sad. Happy because it’s Sergei’s story. Sad because we are saying a final goodbye to these dangerous, sexy, controlling and sometimes sweet Badmen.
Sergei’s story was fan-requested, so the pressure was on Hayley to make this one something special. Boy did she deliver! This book was off the charts! It was sexy, soulful, and simply amazing. Sergei was so much more than I ever expected. We first met him as Tatiana’s very distant father in Dancing for the Badman. He was distant and a bit cold. But there was something about him that made you want to know more. This man was the definition of alpha male. He was dominant, controlling, in all aspects of his life, but he had another side. On that it took a truly submissive woman like Raisa to bring out in him. I loved Sergei so much more than I expected to.
Events in this book happen in the same time as some of the events in Dancing. It was great seeing these events from Sergei’s point of view, and remembering them from when I first read Tati and Kirill’s story.

I will be so sad to see all of these Badmen and the women who bring them to their knees, but I will say I’ve enjoyed the journey of their stories, and will be rereading this series in the future.

This seriously was the best way to end this great series. We've all been so curious about Sergei from the beginning And Hayley delivered answers. This cover alone should tell you just the kind of story you are going to get and I loved it! I'm sad to see this series end but it was a great way to end. This book is completely able to be read as a standalone but you will want to go back to read the others. As a side note, I'll NEVER be able to look at rye bread the same. 😀

I have a bittersweet feeling writing this review of Collared by the Badman by Hayley Faiman. The Russian Bratva series was how I discovered this author and I am deeply saddened this is the final book of this phenomenal series.

I have been so curious about the dynamics of the relationship between Raisa and Sergei. From previous books you got a glimpse of their bond but never the full story or the deep emotions they felt for each other. Finally with Collared by the Badman everything I wanted to know is revealed.

It is amazing that Hayley Faiman can take us to a world that is raw, dark, dangerous and violent to give us a beautiful unconventional love story that was born out of despair and hopelessness.

Raisa has to be one of the best female characters Hayley has written. She has strength but it is not your typical female stereotype characteristics that show what courage this character has. To keep her sanity she needed the boundaries that Sergei used to guide her.

Sergei was the ultimate badman. He ruled and his actions just reinforced the powerful leader he was. But he is also a man set in his ways when dealing with emotions and his heart. I loved the fact he was firm yet tender with Raisa. The deeper the feelings he has for her the more confused he felt. Torn between what a leader should do and a man in love wanted to do.

The passion and chemistry was hot. Like seriously grip the bed-sheets hot! Gives you the tingles and makes you feel flushed hot!

If you are thinking about reading this series do yourself a favor and start at the beginning. Each book is a reading treasure that you will love!

I’m never reading this author again. Why does almost every single heroine in this series (and the Savage Beast MC) have to have been raped or experience sexual abuse? This author would benefit from getting some new material other than rape. She really knows no limits. Disgusting. If I could give stars in the negatives, I would.

Dark, Dirty, kinda amazing? Collared by the Badman is the next book in the Russian Bratva book by Hayley Faiman. This book can be read as a stand-alone, but I suggest you at least read Dancing for the Badman. I think it would give more information that would make this book more enjoyable. With that being said, I did not read Dancing for the Badman first and still enjoyed this book. I do feel I should say this book is really dark. It is a triggers paradise. If you have triggers, maybe avoid this one.
The plot of this book is similar yet different than the other books in the series. This book is set in Russia, which I like. This book really dives into some BDSM lifestyles, but also shows that some of these lifestyles can be taken a bit too far and become twisted. This book turned my stomach at times, but in the end, it was a good read. Give it a shot.
Sergei is a good character. I liked how strong he is. I also liked that he had a softness to him in rare moments. It was the perfect mixture. Raisa is an amazing character. Seriously one of my favorites. She is so strong. At times, I felt her strength might have been a tad unrealistic, but even so, I loved her. She is an amazing character.
The heat in this book is definitely there. This book is mostly about the heat between the characters. There is a bigger plot to the story as well, but the heat was a big part of the story. I liked these scenes between the characters. I really like how the author shows that sometimes you need to give someone a semblance of what they are used to in order to ease them into a new way of life.
The writing style in this book is good. The story is told from a dual point of view. I liked seeing each character’s thoughts. I liked that the author didn’t shy away from showing us a past to the characters that was not all sunshine and rainbows. She showed us some dark things, but it just enhanced the story. This was a very good book.
Overall, I enjoyed this story very much. I have read a couple books in this series and I can say that these are some great books. I would recommend this book to others. Again, I feel I should mention that there are some triggers in this book that may effect some people. Cannot wait to see where the author goes next.

5 Diamond studded collared stars right here!!! 💎 💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎
I have been waiting for Sergei’s story since Kiska and Konny’s book if not before. As he is the head of the Russian Bratva in Moscow we got bits and pieces of him in each book but I longed for his story alone. I honestly was prepared for a novella but the full length book we got instead was Amazing!! I knew he was gonna be hot af and filthy...i got sooooooo much more that i could have ever imagined!
This series of books is kind of dark in my opinion anyway, but this book dealt with the true Dominant/Submissive relationship as well as sexual slavery. This is a topic that so many don’t know about or understand, myself included. There were times when I was like “wtf is happening😱 and then I would have to take a step back and think that this is NOT a normal relationship! Her being referred to as a “slave was hard for me in the beginning but the way in which the author approached this horrific subject totally made you feel at ease quickly. This woman, Raisa, was sold into sexual slavery when she was 15 and remained there for 10 years. She was sexually, mentally and emotionally abused as well as starved of more than just nutrition. When she was given to Sergei, she was taught what it was like to be a true “sexual submissive, not just there for the use of her body. He revered her as a submissive but mostly as a woman and treated her like a queen while still living his “kink lifestyle.
Hayley Faiman showed us what the difference between “sexual slavery and “submission truly was. The act of having a woman as a slave is deplorable and disgusting, while being a “slave to submission can be a beautiful thing. Sergei did just that. He took her from a life of nothing and brought her into a life that she could live. There is a scene in the book where she goes outside for the first time in years and feels grass beneath her feet and I was speechless, with tears in my eyes. My heart broke for her. The journey for Raisa and Sergei wasn’t always sunshine and unicorns because there was so much emotional turmoil that had to be dealt with but once again Hayley wrote this beautifully and in a way that you were sympathetic for both.
We kind of go back in time in this book and get to see the transformation of Sergei not only where Raisa is concerned but also Tatyana and Kiska. I think this was a turning point for him. He truly is a filthy silver fox!! I have this thing for the older man younger woman and he just does it for me!!
I’m kind of sad that this is the end of this series as I have loved every book in it! It’s exciting to know that we now have some Italians to look forward to! This was a fabulous ending to the series and I will forever be a fan of Hayley’s work!!! Thank you for taking us on such a journey!!!

The Russian Bratva series has been one of my favorites for a long time. I was sad to see it coming to an end, and was so excited to hear that there would be one more book to wrap it all up.

Sergei made his debut a while back, in the first books. We know he is a strong man, a powerful leader among the Russian criminal organization, and everyone feared him. We also know that his sexual preferences are more on the unconventional side, and we got to meet his slave, Raisa, once or twice.

This book shows us how Sergei became Raisa’s owner and how she felt about the arrangement as well. I loved some of the parts, it was nice to witness the powerful instant connection between the two. I also loved the cameos by Kirril, who’s my favorite Badman, Tatyana and little Kiska. Actually, Kiska’s phone call to Sergei at the end of the book was my favorite part. It was so sweet and made Sergei more human.

My least favorite part of the book was the amount of sex in it. I’m definitely not a prude and like it where it feels natural and it flows with the rest of the story. But there was so much of it in this book, that if you took half of it away, you’d really have a novella. I was also hoping to “see more of the previous characters, and was disappointed that we didn’t.

I have read every one of these stories in this series. I have to say that I have loved every one of them in their own way. But in the back of my mind, I always wondered what was going on with Sergei. We always knew he had someone waiting for him back home. And in some of the other books, we even see/meet Raisa. We knew he was very protective and so forth.

I love that Hayley came out and gave us his and Raisa's backstory. It is beautiful. The amount of pain that Riasa goes through before she is given to Sergei is unbelievable. And the amount of work and patients he gives to Riasa is almost frightening since you already see from other books how he is in his work life.

These two love deeply for each other even if it is not "normal" for everyone else. Again I loved all of these stories and am sad to see them end. If they do. HAHA. We shall see.

OMG!!! This book! It is thrilling, suspenseful and intriguing. I can’t believe this is the final book in the series, I want more! I’ve patiently been waiting (NOT) for Raisa’s story to be told and I can say without a doubt I was not disappointed. Raisa had a difficult life before becoming Sergei’s submissive and they complemented each other so well. He is just the right Dom for her. I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next!

Sergei Orlov’s head and heart are not in a good place right now. He’s been asked to do something that most men couldn’t handle. Raisa is not in a good place and needs help from the one person who can get her there. You get no sense of any age difference until Sergei actually tells us how old he is. But even after that his age doesn’t matter. It’s his behavior that should matter.

Don’t tell the Bratva but he has a heart buried under that tough exterior. Make no mistake, he lives and breathes a certain lifestyle. It’s a lifestyle where there are certain expectations on how a woman/submissive should behave and how he’s a good representative of his “family. If this is something you’re not comfortable with then this book/series may not be for you especially considering how dark this is. If you’re the more adventurous type it may be something to try.

Sergei disclosed something that had me raise my eyebrows. For the reader he does not romanticize the life that leads to being Bratva just keeping it real. And this is why as a reader we have to remember that unless told otherwise this is a work of fiction. No one actually got hurt at the expense of our enjoyment. An open mind is needed when reading this story. It shows a lot of this author’s creativity. I would think it would be difficult, if not near impossible, to interview anyone in the positions we see our main characters.

It’s been almost a year since I read one of the books in the Russian Bratva series how time flies. I didn’t need to go back and read the book over again in order to enjoy Sergei and Raisa’s story - this book can stand on its own. It just reminds me of how many books I’ve missed. Even when I got to the end at no time did I feel as if something was missing. But I did feel as if a hit that invisible brick wall because it seemed to be a little abrupt. I felt as if I turned to the next page their story would continue but alas, no.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Collared by the Badman was an extremely hard book for me to read, and I'm positive if it weren't for the brilliant Hayley Faiman writing it, I would have put it down within the first few chapters. It dealt with a subject that brings me to my knees every time, so this review won't be a normal one from me, as all of my emotions are raw & bleeding out after finishing it. The realistic feel to it was what really took me down, as Raisa was a girl who was sold into sexual slavery as a young girl who dealt with a nightmare life for many years before Sergei Orlov. And I'm not saying that she had an easy time with him, as he really pissed me off throughout a good portion of the story, so it definitely took a special author like Ms. Faiman to finally get me on board with him. It's not for the faint of heart, as again, the human trafficking factor in the story was completely realistic, so there's not an easy way to write it. I wish I could give a better review of it, but again, my emotions are too beat up, so be warned, this story will have you looking for the tissues as no eye will stay dry. I'm sad to see this series be over, but I know that Ms. Faiman will continue to write more of the EPIC stories that I've come to crave like caffeine. So that's all from me, except that I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL WHO ARE BRAVE ENOUGH!

So this review is bittersweet for me to write. Collard By The Badman is the final book in the Russian Bratva series and while I enjoyed it, for some reason I didn’t love it as much as I did the previous books. Maybe it is because I never wanted this series to end or maybe it is because I just didn’t feel the connection between Sergei and Raisa as strongly as I wanted to. All of these books are dark and deal with situations that could be triggers for some readers but I have loved this series so much and for me not to absolutely love this one is in a sense breaking my heart.

The circumstances that bring Raisa under Sergei’s ownership where horrible and my heart broke for her. While a tough Master, Sergei wasn’t as horrible as he could have been to his slave. I guess I wanted to feel more between them than I did. The drama and suspense where a good addition to the story but not enough to have me loving it like I have the previous books.

While Collared By The Badman may not have been my favorite of the series I am still sad that the series is ending. I think a total series reread is in the future.

4.5 Stars of Awesome!!

I have really liked Sergei from the first book and onward. He is definitely a dangerous and mysterious character, but I always felt that there were hidden depths to him that we were not allowed to see yet, and I was most definitely right. He was so much more in this story. All of the lead males are very strong and dominant, even more so with a Dom. Are there moments that I thought he should have been throat punched absolutely! He made some really bad calls with Raisa, but he makes up for them.

And Raisa is such a sweet and unique character. She grew up as a possession. All she has known is abuse in one way, shape, or form. She has no clue about how to be her own person. Sergei brings that out in her, while also showing her that there is pleasure in submission and not always pain. But her hard knocks do not stop. She is most definitely broken, but with Sergei she is whole, or as whole as she can be.

Overall, a great story. I have really come to enjoy Hayley Faiman’s Badmen, and I am definitely looking forward to the next one!

Raisa has been used, abused and tortured in the hands of Master Zakhar for over a decade.

When Mistress Katrina, domme, seeks out Sergei's help to rescue Raisa, little does he know his entire world would change.

Sergei, Bravtva the boss, has had many slaves over the years. One even gave birth to his child, in which he is in search for. When Raisa entered into his life he was somewhat taken back. Will she his downfall?

Master Zakhar lurks in the shadows waiting for the perfect opportunity to reclaim what's his.

Collared by The Badman is a dark and twisted emotional ride into the world of doms and slaves. A special young slave who is able to reach into the dominant heart and bring out a softer side. A new beginning for Raisa.

This is the first book I've read by Hayley Faiman. I am so enthralled by this story that I'm going back to read the rest of this series. I loved the thoughts of the characters.

I didn’t love it like I thought I would, but it was ok. It was nice to finally get to Sergei’s story. I’ve been so interested in him ever since his daughter Tatyana’s story in book 3. I loved seeing him as a father, and grandfather and wanted more of him. Plus I was really curious about the dynamics of his master/sex slave relationship he had with Raisa. I honestly wasn’t sure if I’d get into that trope, and I’m still on the fence. I didn’t feel any kind of relationship or hot chemistry between them. Their relationship changed from how it was in the beginning to how things were by the end. Raisa was more than just a slave to him, she had become his queen and he cared very deeply for her. But I just wasn’t as in love with this book or their story as I was with others in the series. But I am definitely glad to have gotten Sergei’s story. It was a good way to end this series.

This book was amazing! Sergei and Raisa are a couple that is meant to be. Of course they are not your traditional couple, how could they be? Raisa has spent about half her life being abused and used as a slave and Sergei has spend most of his years denying himself so much so he can protect those he loves and cares about. These two characters are broken in their own ways but together they are shocked to find they can heal. There are dangerous situations that arise and of course a path to happiness cannot be easy, but through the struggles they go through a happily ever after neither one ever thought they could have is finally possible. Sergei and Raisa are a beautifully damaged couple you will be sure to enjoy.

Wow... I cannot believe that this series has come to an end, and let me say, girl knows how to end a series! Hayley Faiman blew it out of the park with this book and i was so sad to see it end.
This book had a very different spin on it then the other books in the series did.
Hayley has always written strong characters, but I think that Raisa is her best one yet. The pain, suffering, loss and emotions that Raisa portrays throughout the book is gut wrenching, and the strength that this character has hits your soul.
Sergi, I am so glad we got his story, he was the boogyman we all feared but wanted to know more about the scary man in the dark and boy did his story deliver.
I loved Sergi and Raisa together and this was the perfect ending to this series.
5 Stars for an amazing end!

So good!

This is a bittersweet ending to the Bratva series. I love every single book that has been written in this series and I’m sad to see it end. I loved getting Sergei’s story and seeing how it led him to Raisa. This was a beautiful book that took on some darker themes from Raisa’s past. one of the things I loved most was that their relationship shows that just because they may not have the most conventional relationship, and others may look down on it, they still have a lot of love and respect for each other. I’m sad to see my favorite Russians go, but looking forward to future books from Hayley!

Sergei and Raisa!

Ok I've had this bad boy sitting on my Kindle for over a month and I finally had time to read it and my mind was blown. I have enjoyed every Badman and Sergei didn't disappoint. Seeing how they came together was a delight. Raisa this abused and broken woman. Sergei the strong Bratva pakhan. They created fireworks I mean their chemistry was off the radar hot 💥. I really was able to appreciate how Sergei felt finding out about Tatyana and Kiska. I'm so sad to see the era of the badmen come to an end, but I'm so happy that I clicked that first book. I love every Hayley Faiman book I've read I will always read her books. 💜

Collared by the Badman is the 11th and final book in the Badman series and I am so upset the series is finished.

I loved this book and couldn't put it down. Hayley seems to do no wrong in her writing and she didn't disappoint with Sergei and Raisa's story.

I cannot wait to see what comes next from Hayley.

This is the 11th book in this phenomenal series, and is Sergei and Raisa’s story. Sergei is a powerful leader amongst the Russian Bratva, and Raisa is a strong woman who becomes his slave. This is a well written flawless story, which is dark, emotional, gritty, and a powerful read, and I was totally intrigued and captivated throughout this addictive page turner. I cannot wait to read more from this extremely talented author, and I highly recommend her work for all readers!

So sad this is the end

I so think this author is talented and thank you for sharing it with us. Sergei was a very powerful leader. Raisa was not damaged, she hid within herself. Then she came out. So very strong. I hate this series ends. I have read the MC one too, so now what do I do? Oh I know, you could do the Iris MOB. Just a suggestion. I love this author so let me see what she has that I haven’t read.

So full of.love

Sergei never loved a.woman. He loved his daughter and decided that he left her she would be safe. Years.passed and he thought her to be dead but she was very.much alive. But meeting Rasika his whole life changed for the better. Being head of the bears he had to be careful and not trust anyone. He is head over heels for his queen and needs to make sure she safe. Loved this series. Would .love more please. Firs.time reader.
