The novel revolves around the life of Ibn Sina in the period of his arrest in the castle (Ferdakan) located in central Iran, and the novel tells in a literary form in which reality mixes with the fictional imagination of Ibn Sina, starting from his birth in the year 370 AH, in a family consisting of an Afghan father and a mother of Khwarizmiyya (currently Uzbekistan) And his life in the Central Asian region and then stability and death in the Persian region, where he lived the last half of his life between irrigation (present-day Tehran), Hamadan, and Isfahan.
The novel is a mixture of reality and fiction and written in a distinctive literary style by the great writer Yusef Zidan, the way narration and dialogues take you in another world or rather it will return you to a journey through time, whether it is beautiful or bad but a pleasant trip and a lot of information (even if it is fictional), On the other hand, you will benefit from a lot of information, especially in medicine and philosophy at that time, as well as discover some cities and places and its ancient names. The novel, despite its aesthetic and the difficulty of leaving the book until you complete it in a short period, but the thing that some people may not like or see is excessive and the writer spoke a lot about it which is a great and deep narration of the scenes or intimate speeches in the novel or during dialogues and events, and I also saw it very much or She took on a bigger size than her, but the aesthetics of the novel and the beautiful style of the writer were excellent.
