A Toxic Inheritance is book eight in the Sydney Legal series by Chris Taylor. Meghan Chifley estate lawyer at Sydney Legal received a phone call from her father's gardener Arjun Patel alerting her father seems to have gone missing. When Meghan Chifley decided to leave work and try to find her father she did not expect to see him dead. Detective Sergeant Zane Sullivan and his partner Detective Willie Whitehouse caught the case. The readers of A Toxic Inheritance will continue to follow Detective Sergeant Zane Sullivan and Detective Willie Whitehouse investigation into the death of Grant Edward James Chifley. Also, the readers of A Toxic Inheritance will be surprised by the ending of this book.
A Toxic Inheritance is another fantastic book by Chris Taylor. The way Chris Taylor portrays her characters and their interaction with each other is done well by Chris. The plot of A Toxic Inheritance engaged me from the beginning, and I was unable to put the book down. A Toxic Inheritance is well written and researched by Chris Taylor. I love Chris Taylor description of her settings.
The readers of A Toxic Inheritance will start to understand the importance of communications in families to ensure that diagnoses of mental illness done early. Also, the readers of A Toxic Inheritance will see the devastation drugs have on the addict and their families.
I recommend this book.
