The novel goes in two parallel lines for two different characters in two different times, which causes some confusion but makes you maintain your focus throughout the journey, which is a positive thing. The language in the novel is beautiful, and the characters and places are well written... Everything would have been perfect, if not the open ending, which leaves most questions unanswered. I hate open endings, I see it as unprofessional act from the writer, and proves that events have overtaken him and turn to be out of his control. I would have given a greater evaluation if not the ending, and I might change my mind if a second part of the novel is coming.
