This was a wonderful book. Hadley and Mauricio were great characters with wonderful chemistry. What should have been a fun reunion fling, gets overly complicated thanks to a pregnancy scare and media attention. They certainly had plenty of lust, realizing the love was there too was what took a little longer. I really enjoyed the story and the characters in this one. I wish the book would’ve been longer as I didn’t want to stop reading about these two.
For this being the first book in a series, I was really confused with the first half. I didn’t like the fact that we were supposed to fall other couples storylines, when it was hard trying to figure out what was going on with the main couple. It was too cheesy for my taste and the ending felt too rushed. 2 stars.
Es algo surrealista la forma en la que piensa la protagonista. Tiende a divagar mucho. No hubo pasión o romance que me enganchara. No me conecte con los personajes. La trama estuvo floja. El final fue predecible
I was really disturbed by the writer's insistence of giving the MC "skinny" lattes and having her order a 4-ounce steak. Four ounces??? Why on earth would you need to include that detail? This left a bad taste in my mouth, pun intended. I hope that this author doesn't make this a habit
Second time reading it and I still enjoy the banter between the brothers in Weasley kind of way which makes the romance part more enjoyable. I look forward to reading it again in future.
