Wealth and power make them untouchable.
The monarchs of Trinity Academy.

Falcon Reyes.

With a sharp, intelligent look, he reeks of arrogance wrapped in an icy layer of indifference. A life of luxury has left him with the notion that everything is attainable.

Power. Wealth. Status.

He’s a god and I a mere mortal.
He’s Jupiter, and I am Mercury.
There’s so much power in this man.
He has the kind of influence most people can’t even begin to imagine.

And me I’m an eighteen-year-old girl who managed to make him lose control.
I’m the girl who showed him there’s a kaleidoscope of colors outside the high walls of his black and white world.

MY REVIEW AND OTHERS: can also be found on my blog:

'FALCON' is the first full length New Adult novel in Michelle Heard's 'Trinity Academy' series. This is Falcon Reyes and Layla Shepard's story. Spoken in 'Dual POV's'

My heart is full, Falcon is the guy that has everything, from his looks to his wealth, but the one thing he is truly missing is love and acceptance for the man he truly is. Growing up, surrounded by power and wealth, has taught me one thing, paper is thicker than blood.

Layla was just a girl, a girl who didn't need/want or crave the finer things in life, she sees beauty in what life has to offer. Layla is not your typical Trinity Academy student she's been given a free ride by none other than Falcon's father, her mum is his father's secretary, a secret she wants to hold close to her chest.

BUT with her beauty it's going to be hard flying under the radar at her new school..

Three hot guys rule the school, Falcon, Mason & Lake, their grandfathers are founding members of the academy. With the kind of wealth they come from, they might be gorgeous to look at but deadly to play with.

Even though these two come from such opposite worlds, they were just perfect for each other..

I went into this one expecting I’d be jumping into a ‘bully romance which wasn’t the case at all, and I’m so glad this author didn’t go down that path with this book because it was just perfect!

As soon as I started this I was hooked, the authors use of words, the amount of quotes I’d highlighted, the characters, the storyline, it was like a motion picture taking flight in my mind. The feels that took flight in my heart had me reading at lightning speeds. I couldn’t put it down!

Unpredictable
Unique
Unputdownable
Utterly addictive!!

There is nothing I would change about this book. Though I did fall head first over a cliffy but knowing the next book isn’t too far away spiked up my anticipation levels more so.

This was a fast burn, no frills highly recommend romance! Loved it!! Easiest 5 stars given!!

Up next: NOVEL #2: MASON CHARGILL & KINGSLEY HUNT

I wasn’t too sure what to expect going into this. Though, the author wasn’t exactly new to me, she was one I have seen around and have been told she brilliant. She was one of many that are on my TBR list, and I am kicking myself now for not starting her books sooner! I even have her Southern heroes series on my kindle.
When I saw the blurb to this new series, I knew I had to grab a copy and I am not disappointed one bit!
Ms. Heard way with words came with ease. It flowed so well, I found myself completely consumed in this story.

Falcon is the son of one of the founding families of Trinity Academy, he is arrogant, he’s alpha, he has the power around the school, and normally gets what he wants, when he wants it, regardless of the consequences. He takes what he wants. He wants others to look at him and see him for him, not for the money he’s got, or the nice things...

Layla is fierce, sassy, full of wit, she’s strong and she’s unique. She’s on a scholarship because her mother is Falcons fathers PA and the last thing she wants is for the other students to know she’s not wealthy. This school runs on wealth, it bleeds riches. Wealth, power and status are everything in this school, so she tries her best to fly under the radar otherwise her life would be a living hell.

It’s when Falcon and Layla come together that things start to change. There is something between them, but Falcon refuses to see it, to own it, to admit to it. Because if they did, if they let these feelings bubble to the surface. Shit would hit the fan between both families.. it would create more drama, more issues....

Is it worth it? Are they willing to risk it and be together? Or will they continue to fight these feelings? Can they continue to fight them?

These two together were two unlikely people to be together. From two different worlds. The wealthy, and the not so wealthy. But yet, they were perfect together in so many ways. She’s the brightness to his dark, she’s the good to his bad. They balanced each other out. Actually she balanced him out and as the book progressed, so did the chemistry between the two of them.

That push and pull was right there, it was tugging at my heart the entire time and I couldn’t help but cheer these two on. The author wrote these two incredibly well and made it hard not to fall for them.

The way she weaves in the secondary characters was amazing, we get of a glimpse into what’s to come with this series. Which also involves Mason and Lake, two of Falcon’s friends. I love their bond, their loyalty to one another and their banter. These three were amazing and I couldn’t help but laugh at some of the things said and done.

All in all, this book was a fantastic start to what promises to be an amazing series of books! The author was flawlessly and deserves all the praises she gets for this! I am so glad I’ve finally taken the chance to read some of her work.
I am now hooked!!

5 Stars!

"My life is black and white, and I didn't know what color looked like until I saw you."

Falcon kicks off the start to the new Trinity Academy series like a pro. I loved and enjoyed every page, every chapter from the first word to the last.

What I found most refreshing is the fact that we encounter some drama but no overly engineered unnecessary drama. This story has a bunch of everything, but totally in the perfect doses.

"Instead of being your weakness, let me be your strength."

All characters, not only Layla and Falcon but all others who we obviously will meet in the next two books were introduced so well. I loved each and every one of them, their strength and their weaknesses. The bound and the dynamic between the whole group is addicting. And the attraction and chemistry between Layla and Falcon sparkles from every page.

I love Layla's wit and sass and the way she sees the world. She's so down to earth and never falters seeing the good in people. And Falcon, despite his upbringing and the golden spoon he was fed with, is everything but. He clearly enjoys the perks of his status but also misses evidently the most important thing in his life.

With her tendency to ground the people around her, Layla and Falcon couldn't have been a better match. She's the light in his dark. She's the color in his black and white.

""You sleeping?" "No," I whisper back. "Why not?" "You haven't said it yet." He lets out a chuckle. "Sleep my rainbow.""

Falcon is a sparkling and intriguing college romance that will color up your day.

Falcon is the first book in the Trinity Academy Series and since I had heard about this series I was anxiously awaiting for the release of this book . The wait was absolutely worth it . I have been a staunch fan of Michelle’s work since I discovered this fabulous author and she has been my one click buy and have never disappointed me. There are some authors who have been hit and miss for me but Michelle has consistently been on my favorite authors list I have throughly enjoyed every book she has published to date.

Falcon is another stellar story under her belt. This story has everything from beautifully developed relatable and realistic characters , gripping storyline & eloquent and powerful dialogues. I fell in love with Falcon, Mason, Lake, Layla and Kingsley. The story is an absolute page turner and I literally devoured it in one sitting.

I just loved the chemistry, connection and banter between Falcon and Layla and as the saying goes Opposite attracts ...How from being strangers they fall in love that even the mere presence of the other person gives them peace ..without giving spoilers this is definitely a must recommend story and should be read by anyone who loves a great romance with beautiful plot and characters that stay with you forever, coz by the time you are done reading with the story this talented author definitely has readers fully hooked and emotionally invested with the story and characters and once you finish her story she leaves you craving for more. I am awed by how specks of life lessons and pearls of wisdom are coalesced in the plot so seamlessly and she effortlessly conveys them through her characters throughout the story. Michelle is hands down a fantastic storyteller, she can magically weave beautiful stories and leave her readers spellbound. Michelle writing is like a fine wine, it just gets better with every book she releases. Every time I read her new book I think this book is great but honestly Falcon has to be her best book to date she just surpassed her high standards with this book and superseded her readers expectations.

I just devoured Falcon and by the time I finish the last page I was spellbound and in awe. I honestly didn’t want this story to end , it just left me craving for more of these characters but my only consolation is I would hopefully meet all of them again in the next two books of this series. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. I am literally having withdrawal symptoms, I need Mason’s story like right now.. This story is definitely going on my reread list .

Definitely worth 5 + Stars ⭐️ 🌟🌟🌟🌟 And one of the best books I have read in 2019 .

What a fantastic start to the Trinity Academy series by Michelle Heard. Falcon is book one and is Falcon Reyes and Layla Shepard's story.

For some reason I went into this book thinking it was a bully romance and it's NOT. While bully romances are my jam these days, Falcon met and exceeded all my expectations. It IS a new adult, college romance, centered around three brooding, young, alpha millionaire heirs and the women who bring them to their knees.

Falcon had everything. He grew up with more money than he knew what to do with and never wanted for anything. On the outside, he lived the perfect life. But inside, he was a sad, broken man craving love and attention, to be accepted for who he is and not what he can offer. He struggled with his familial relationships and was in a constant power struggle with his brother. Layla brought him that love and adoration he craved and it was beautiful to see.

"My life is black and white, and I didn't know what color looked like until I saw you."

Layla's mom is Falcon's father's assistant and is attending Trinity Academy for the elite due to Mr Reyes's generosity. She struggles with how to fit in while keeping the financial status a secret. When Falcon chooses Layla to be his assistant, sparks fly between them. She's so humble and teaches Falcon how to enjoy life with each moment, not each dollar.

"Thank you for seeing me and not everything I have"

I absolutely loved this story. My heart broke for falcon and I just wanted to reach through the pages and give him a hug. I admired Layla's strength and her sassy attitude kept a smirk on my face. Heard developed a world that I wouldn't mind jumping into. While Falcon and Layla were the main characters, Mason, Lake and Kingsley all played significant rolls in this story. All 3 books are interconnected, so some plots are carried over to the next 2 books. After the end of Falcon, I can't wait for Mason's book!!!

Michelle Heard is a new to me author, I know she has written under a different pen name but I haven't read any of those books either, although a few of them are on my TBR shelf so going into this book I didn't know what to expect other than to hopefully loose myself in a good story...and that is just what I did. I really liked all of the characters although some of them came off a bit childish it wasn't a deterrent it actually made me like their character a little less which I am sure was the idea of it all because of how their story line plays out.

FALCON is the first book in the Trinity Academy Series and this trilogy must be read in order because the three stories overlap one another. In this story we have Falcon Reyes who is use to getting everything he wants because of who his family is, and we have Layla who is a breath of fresh air or a colorful rainbow...seriously this girl is down to earth and doesn't let the fact that Falcon have money make her fawn over him and I love it! Layla is the daughter of Falcon's fathers Secretary and Mr. Reyes has gifted the luxury of studying at Trinity Academy to her.

This was a great start to the trilogy, I am really looking forward to Mason and Lake's stories as well. Falcon, Mason, and Lake are all decedents of the founding fathers of Trinity Academy their bond is deeper than if they were brothers and it's great to see how these three men are always there for one another no matter what.

If you are looking for a NEW ADULT ROMANCE that will heat up your kindle while warming your heart look no further, grab a copy of Falcon now!

Happy Reading!!!

Welcome to Trinity Academy where Wealth, power and status are everything.

Layla is attending the prestigious Trinity academy thanks to her mother being PA to Falcon’s dad, who is one of the founding families of the academy. She’s at the academy on a scholarship and needs to lay low so nobody finds out that she in fact isn’t wealthy like the rest of them.

As feelings grow, Falcon continues to ignore them as him dating Layla would create a shit storm between the families.

I absolutely loved the secondary characters, they really helped make the book. I want to know more about Mason and Lake. They really intrigue me. Lake is hilarious as is Mason and Kingsley. I can’t wait for their book.

Falcon, Mason and Lake are amazing! I loved all three of them. They are Cut throat, loyal to each other not their families and their back and forth banter is hilarious.

This is what I’ve been searching for. This is the one thing I could never buy.
A moment.

Falcon is intense, he goes after what he wants and doesn’t care about the consequences. Falcon wants people to see him for him and not what he’s got or what he’s worth.

”I’m my world having a weakness is dangerous. You’re my weakness.

I didn’t give it 5 stars because I’m not sure how I feel about how the book ended. Over all, a great romance that I read in one sitting.

Enter the world of the Elite, where rivalries are rife, families loyalties are non existent and love is just a game.

Insta love...
Wealthy hero...
Not so rich heroine...
College romance...

Hero is looking forward to find the girl ago don't love his money or status but the 'real' him or whatever.
The starting was good but by the first 100 pages the story was running so fast that I couldn't catch everything. It was like by the time half of the book was done H and h already had their share of attitude fights, H has already saved h, all the background stories of almost all the characters was told and H & h already started dating and jad serious feelings for each other. It all happened in 100 pages... really.

I must say the writing style was good. A new author for me but her way of writing is really good.

The concept of the series is also good. I won't say it's new or refreshing but still I liked the bond among the friends is shown. I liked how they supported each other. I just wish the story wasn't soo fast paced.

A sweet and quick college romance read.
While there were 3 closed friends - since diapers, in this first book of the series we were introduced Falcon’s story.

Relationships grew really fast, there was no development of the characters, the dialogues were passable and there was no ending but a “snowy cliffhanger!!! 😱

Falcon Reyes had the world at his feet. Money to spare and women falling at his feet. No one ever told him no and he found he was in a rut. His home life was atrocious and his vile mother was pushing a viper on him with severe mental issues. He figured if he has his best friends Lake and Mason at him side life was good. He suddenly realizes he has a heart when he notices a woman being tormented by the viper Serena and her evil sidekick Greyson and he steps in to claim her. Little did he know Layla was going to be a life changer for him and he will do whatever it takes to keep her at his side.

Layla is not the typical Trinity Academy student. She doesn’t come from money and her mom is Mr. Reyes assistant, so she was gifted the opportunity to study there. She tries hard to fly under the radar, but Serena and Greyson have her in their crosshairs. Layla keeps her head down and just tries to study while making friends with Kingsley. All is going well until she makes eye contact with Falcon and he has to come to her rescue. She learns the man with the scowl and all the money likes her and she sets out to learn all she can about him and the world he lives in. It’s not easy and people are trying to tear them apart at every stop but will love persevere despite their differences?

Dang it Michelle Heard does it again!! I always look forward to her stories and this one was no different. Falcon is not someone you like at first but then you realize he’s just a lost boy under that exterior. I love that he stood his ground and not let anyone sway him from being with Layla. Layla was a kickbutt chickadee. She knew what she wanted she made no apologies for who she was. She seen the differences in them but made it work. Mrs. Reyes well she and Serena can go kick rocks or take a long walk off a short pier. I hated them hardcore. I’m excited to see what Mason and Lake have in store. Seriously though that ending? Why woman why?

Oh. My. Heart.

I really enjoyed this book. Falcon and Layla made for a cute couple with enough drama and passion to keep you on your toes.
The little twist made for a great storyline and had me diving in faster to see how Falcon and Layla's story ended.

Falcon is the ultimate book boyfriend and he gives you all the feels, I devoured this book I couldn't get enough of the boys

I love they are complete opposites and how quickly they fall it makes the story more inttruiging. I wanted Falcon to have his happily ever after every chapter had me wanting more.

The few slips of passion we see between the two is hot and I love seeing how they grow through every page.

I really loved Mason and Lake and can't wait for their books also.

I wasn't sure what to expect going in. But I was nicely surprised and really quickly hooked. I really love the guys, Falcon, Mason and Lake. There is so much more to them, then they allow you to see. You need to go in, without any assumptions and with blank canvas.
Falcon surprised me. I didn't expected some things from him. It broke my heart and made me wish to hug him hard. Falcon got me. You won.
Loved how Falcon and Laylas story flow from the first meeting. I loved connection between Falcon and Layla. It was just.... Everything.
But that ending... What the heck?! I need Mason's book ASAP! I just need more!

Another new author to my list of darlings!
This book was indicated to me by another reader, and I really appreciate it.

The story flows in a light and delightful way of reading.
I loved Falcon when he's in love, and it happens really fast between them... and Layla is the kind of heroine I love to read!
She is strong and does not bow her head or feel inferior because she is not on the same social level as the rest of the academy. I love how she embrace his friends, and make them became better person.

Lake already has my heart.

Some situations remain open, but as the book ends with a cliffhanger (for the next couple), I think we will still have the unfolding of those situations.

My Review (May contain spoilers, fair warning upon reading this review)

Falcon is a great work and I am so happy that I decided to pick up this series because I have been wanting to work through some of her backlist. I have to say I did NOT expect to see what I saw in this one here. I LOVED the way that this book was written. It was borderline rom-com in my opinion. Even though it could technically be considered a borderline dark romance, it had such a comedy feel to the story and had me laughing all over the place. The setup of the story is a bit instant love and forced proximity, there is a bit of bully romance to this but its very low key. So if you want to test the waters for a bully romance or something a bit softer in that regard, you definitely should try this one out.

We see a hero who has high expectations but has a mother who removes any affection and love out of the home and only cares about her socialite status. He has only known coldness until he meets Layla who is the daughter of his father's secretary. She sees the man and not the money or prestige or his social status and he finds that so refreshing. Their romance starts steady as there is a strong attraction between them from the beginning. But Falcon is her protector when the bullies start to circle her. There is a charm that enters their relationship. Falcon and Layla get along just right and I enjoyed the dynamics that enter into the romance. They might seem like opposites in many ways, but they also click in the right ways that truly matter. I truly fell hard for this story because it had such a great mix of elements that work well for me. Now the writing is a bit slow in the first half, but it quickly gains speed and I definitely found it to be hard to put down once I really got into the story.

The romance was pretty low angst for the most part and I found that really refreshing. The complexity of Falcon's family was really fun to see get worked through. The only negative aspects to the story is that there were a couple of plot holes and there is a serial plot cliffhanger (no worries the couple ends up together) but I definitely need to read book 2 so I can find out what happens.

Falcon and Layla were cute.. and that's about all I can say.

Falcon was a pretty easy book to read. I pretty much devoured it but after the ending.. I don't know how I feel about it. If I find the time, I will definitely try to finish this series. Mostly because I hate leaving series unfinished. Unless, I absolutely despise the series to begin with.

Falcon is a rich kid who ends up following for the help (sort of). At first glance, he knew there was something unique about Layla. She's the only one who didn't fall for his, or his friend's, shit. She stood her ground and was definitely stubborn on anything and everything. It's pretty much why he fell for her - she made him a better person.

Then there's Layla who doesn't think money gives you happiness. She is definitely more like her dad, a free spirit. Yet, when she meets Falcon.. he's all she thinks about. They were definitely cute but I also really hated his mom and the supposed fiancé. I was intrigued to see what his brother and dad were like.. but they definitely grew on me towards the end of the book.

Overall, I am intrigued to see Mason and Kingsley become a thing. If they don't, ugh... I don't know what is going to happen.

Michelle Heard you created another winner. I tried to read this book as slow as possible, but I got so hooked and couldn't stop reading once I started.

From the start I didn't know what to expect from this book. And it totally surprised me. I thought i would hate Falcon but he made me fall inlove with him. I thought he was a selfish spoilt brat, but from the start you could see there was something more to him. And Layla was just the person to make him see that he is more than his money and status.
The connection between them was instant, and even though there was this barrier of status and power they didn't let it stand in their way.

I also loved how Layla stood up to Falcon's parents when they paid them a visit. She was strong and definitely could stand up for herself.
The other characters in the book just complimented the story. And boy am I looking foward to Mason's story. I can't wait to see what Michelle has in store for the these boys, especially with that ending

Falcon (Trinity Academy Series #1)
by Michelle Heard

***5 stars***

What an amazing start to what's sure to be one of my favorite series. I loved everyone and everything about this story, including the villians aka Mommy Dearest and her evil sidekick, Serena the she-beast.

Falcon comes from money and prestige, not knowing what it's like to want for anything. That is until he meets Layla, who sparks light into his dark and mundane world. From the outside, he looks untouchable with no cares to be had. On the inside, he longs for love and all the things money can't buy.

Layla is an outsider in the strange world of Trinity Academy. She doesn't feel like she belongs but is strong and feisty, not giving in to the pressures of others.

Together, Layla and Falcon will fight against all odds to be together, no matter the cost. They have some of the greatest friends to help them along the way too. Let's just say the boys...Falcon, Mason and Lake are hysterical and stooge like, while Layla and Kingsley are soul sisters from other misters. I love them all so much!

Definitely a must read! I'm so excited to find out what happens next when Michelle brings us Mason's story, who happens to be my current book boyfriend crush. Stay tuned!

Falcon and his friends are the It crowd the made men. And they have plans. He gets what he wants and I'm glad he isn't a manwhore lol. He finds out his dad's assistant daughter layla is now attending his school he has no problems with her until some people try to pick/bully her and he steps in Layla and him are hot and Cold because she's poor and doesn't want anything to do with him and Flacon slowly enjoying her.

I love some girlhood!! Her and Kingsley are so fu. Together! And their friendship with the guys is good.

The banter between them is funny and cute. We see a lot of side charas and I already can't wait to read someone's book. Hehe.

We do have drama from the mother and some girl who wants Flacon. I'm glad none of the group likes her or slept with her. So that's a good thing.

The ending is sorta a cliffhanger??? But this couple ends with there HEA

This was seriously one of my most anticipated reads for 2019 so I can’t wait to dive in! Also just so you guys know this series is NOT a bully romance!

I’m definitely loving Layla and all her sass 😂
Hahaha the dynamic between the guys and how they rip into each other has me cracking up alot and also all of layla’s internal dialogue has me dying.

Holy hell Grayson is a freaking psycho!! Can i kill him? I really want to 😂 and I don’t even care if that makes me a psycho 😂

Seriously while reading i had a smile on my face most of the time because the energy and banter between these guys are so good you can’t help but be in a happy mood and laugh at their antics! Also damn Falcon’s mom was psycho ass bitch lol hated her!

Just finished with this book... before i rage... let me just say this book was amazing! I loved how well it was written and the flow of the relationship between layla, Kingsley and the guys were funny as hell! This book definitely exceeded my expectations!
Okay time to vent now! What the hell with the ending?! Don’t wana leave any spoilers but what the hell that news story! .... didn’t see it coming! Whooooo did that happen to???? Gahhh now i need mason’s book ASAP!!!!

Guys this is definitely a 5⭐️ read and i loved every minute of this book! I definitely recommend this!!

I’ve been so excited, waiting for this series set in an elite US college. Money makes the world go round...or at least it does for those attending Trinity Academy, but one thing is certain money and privilege doesn’t always equate to happiness.

Three gorgeous, ambitious and conflicted guys, Falcon, Mason and Lake, grace the halls of the college. They are top of the social tree and into their world enters Layla. There is nothing slouchy or plain about her but nevertheless she risks being a social outcast by the mere fact she lacks wealth and family pedigree, and Falcon will not let her forget it.

There’s plenty of drama and angst, some really mean and self-centred bad guys and girls, and of course some enemies to lovers hot romance. But my favourite parts involve the interactions between the three main guys their brotherhood, loyalty and humour had me laughing right along with them.

The writing is really excellent and easy to read, and the plot brings a whole new angle to this genre. Whilst this story is a standalone, it is also a fantastic start to a brand new series where all the characters continue to feature and the plots interconnect. A 5 star unputdownable read... I received an advanced copy from the author.

Where to begin,

This series will always have that special place in my heart, so much went into bringing this series and these damaged guys to life.

Falcon, they guy everyone wanted to be and every girl wanted to be with BUT he is so closed off and hardened cause of the life he was given. It took a girl and her larger then life attitude and not letting anything get her down to break through those walls that Falcon has build around him.

You can have POWER
You can have MONEY
You can have STATUS
But without love you have nothing.

Layla shows Falcon a new way of living and looking at life and for the first time he sees colour in his life.

He finds his RAINBOW!!!!

Mason is next and I can't wait for his story.

»My life is black and white, and I didn't know what color looked like until I saw you. I agree we're different, but that doesn't mean I don't want to experience your world.«

She is intelligent, funny and stands her ground against Falcon and his friends. She is a relatable character and I enjoyed her pov.

He is a rich alpha man who never heard the word „no in his life. But behind his attitude he is a well mannered and likeable young man.

I didn‘t expect to like this book as much as I did. It‘s a fun and short college romance which is perfect for one afternoon. Michelle Heard is one of these authors who delivers perfect books and seems to know exactly what I would like to read in a story.
This was so entertaining and fun with likeable characters and a great love story.
Layla and Falcon are made for each other. Both are passionate, strong willed and their tension was so good. I adored the way Falcon stands up for Layla and how she is there for him in his worst moments too. Both support each other and their characters just match.
The whole friend group was funny to read about and I‘m looking forward to read about Mason in the next book.
