14booksBjörk studied at the Ecole supérieure d'arts graphiques in Paris from 1992 to 1997, graduating with a masters in illustration, graphic design and photography. She worked for a while as a designer in Brussels, but now works in Iceland as an independent illustrator, artist, graphic designer and children's author.
Her first book, Gíri Stýri og skrýtni draumurinn, which she wrote and illustrated, came out in 1999 and since then she has made a good name for herself, both as author and illustrator.
