First off let us start off my saying that we love the cover and we really loved this current story.

This story was fun and intriguing and had a cast of amazing characters that we could not help but love them all.Once we started reading we were engrossed in the story to the very end and we could not put it down.

Wyatt we loved her from the onset of the story with her quick whit and vibrant personality which was a tell it like it is kind of girl and she was also a sexy and strong character even though she likes to play things safe but, that all changed the minute an arrogant biker decided to woo her.

Sundance Hum....that man was a whole lot of alpha and crude, arrogant and bit of and a-hole but, we have to say falling for a strong independent women had him toning things down and bit and we could help but love the sexy beast of the man ourselves.

The chemistry between these two was totally hot and sexy and the sex scenes definitely fan worthy."Smokin Hot"

I loved the plot and Wyatt and the way she cared for and love her brother aka Teddy Bear who had disabilities and we love how he captured hearts where ever he went.

Overall a really loved this story as it made us laugh out loud the entire story and had a bit of suspense and betrayals and lets not forget it had a awesome cast of characters and that love was found in the most usual of places and it was a love story that was paved with a lot of bumps in the road and a whole lot of groveling .... LOL

We have so say that this story had one of my favorite endings. This story was also one that you were still thinking about days later and when it is still on your mind days later that for me just makes this one fantastic read for us !

"—if this woman thought she had a snowball's chance in hell of warding me off, she was gravely mistaken. Pun intended."

Woo Hoo! This series is more than off to a good start, it's amazing! Once I started reading Primal Need I lost all track of time and sorta forgot to go to bed. Yeah, that alarm clock was definitely a wake-up since I hadn't gone to sleep yet. No regrets, though. I enjoyed every single second.

Sundance is the President of the Primal Howlers MC. He's also a single dad after losing his wife a decade ago. His children are now old enough to drive him crazy and push him to take care of himself. So, he's fighting to live, for them. And then he meets her... his second chance. If only he can convince her he's worth the risk to her heart.

Wyatt (coolest name ever, right?) is very independent. After losing most of her family to cancer she's used to depending on herself and nobody else. When she runs into Sundance he makes a lasting impression and she can't seem to shake him. Not that she really wants to, if she's honest with herself. "—I kind of wanted to follow the veins in his arms with my tongue. Just to see where they led. Mostly because I knew they'd lead to delicious places." Me too! Did you see the book cover? Excuse me while I grab a fire extinguisher. 🔥

The lust is working both ways and neither of them stands much of a chance of resisting the other. But, what fun it was to watch them try! And then, there's the rival club that is causing problems. With secrets and betrayal behind the scenes just waiting to create chaos, the suspense takes it to the next level. I could not tear myself away, I devoured Primal Need like a squirrel with nuts. I'm really loving this series, I don't know who will be featured next, and I can't wait to find out. The line forms here...

Didn’t have fun.

Review ? Personal commentary?
Potato. Patato. Sometimes the same thing some times not.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaa!K I started off having fun here, but deep sigh, by midway thru was skipping and skimming and eager for it to end.
Ok,one unlike everyone in the story ,I’m not in love “Wyatt as a woman’s name. Everyone age meets goes on about what a cool name it is . Matter of opinion,of course abs that sets not mine . And from a snippet from a saw where the heroine is named “Maisie ,and the same is said to her, I’m thinking that might just b3 this writers thing. She congratulates herself during the story on what ever she’s named her.

Anyway, name aside Wyatt worked my last nerve. I’m not sure how to completely and accurately describe her. She was like a barking dog, barking just to hear herself bark at times it seemed. Wyatt was hot headed and short tempered and seemed to want to argue and or disagree at times just for the sake of doing it. And when she wasn’t arguing or fighting w/Sundance ( for some reason we are never told why he haas that name) she’s like a horny B in heat, wanting sex almost constantly .
Seriously, at times it seemed like all the story was Wyatt either F’ing Sundance, fighting w/Sundance o going to see her brother. Wyatt is one of those women who is over reacting to something one minute w/out stopping to question things first.
You know, let’s just make assumptions and go from there and the next “F me til I can’t walk Baby!
W T H?!?!
Honestly, after a while I started to skim the sex scenes because I was just soo damn tired of them. Supposedly Wyatt was this high class intelligent woman w/a good head on her shoulders and a thriving business. But what we see is a woman quick to take offense at anything and everything she might remotely think is a slight p against her developmentally challenged brother and then turn around and do the same to Sundance w/life style and club. Wyatt is VERY demanding and VERY high maintenance and I never really saw the appeal myself .
On their very first date,Wyatt shows what a colossal B she can be when Sundance a lil crudely offers to help Teddy have his first sexual exp.
Now granted, I’ve know someone like Teddy but I highly doubt w/hie issues having sex w/some random stranger would be healthy or helpful. Teddy is fickle to say the least and he attaches to some ppl VERY quickly ,he attached to Sundance and do. After netting them once. So a strange random woman for sex,his first time ? Yeah, no.
But Wyatt doesn’t even go there ,or ask any questions. She just starts making assumptions and even using the “Pimp and just goes off on Sun and acts like and owns the B word,he implies she is.
Now while I wouldn’t take being called one well either,I’d at least be honest about my actions and not act like it was all him . Nor would I act like that one implied word would or could “break me. Or make him beg and grovel over it,especially when I’d acted like a complete A over his suggestion.
But honestly that was Wyatt’s M.O. all thru out the book. Fly off in to a huff and make Sundance beg and basically blame him foe everything and rarely own her own 💩.
Here’s a woman who chooses to date a biker and yet is shocked his world is soo violent. Both have the ability to run a check on the other ( as in investigate ) he knows hackers, she has an investigator on retainer. But neither do. Pity.
I mean Sun does screw up majorly by not looking into things more but he doesn’t make it the habit Wyatt does.
Honestly I wanted to smack Wyatt up side the head soo many times, especially when miss know it all ,is suddenly gaining weight, wanting to live off of chocolate and wavy lays, tired and crying all the time and her breasts are suddenly bigger . At 35 ? And she has to be forced to stop drinking and take a pregnancy test? Seriously ? Why didn’t someone stop, the whisky the night before when this brought up to her ?
Add to that very little world building . Very is told about the club and how that make money expect growing and selling pot ,which is legal where they live. And this “plot to stop the crazed unt is more whispers in the wind than anything else. By the time this book is over over two years has pasted from prologue to epilogue and still this “unt is running free and messing w/business. Why ? It doesn’t make sense.
If this writer was KU,I might want to read more, despite all I’ve said but I didn’t enjoy myself enough to want to buy more.

I will never get tired of this author's books 😊

Sundance is the president of the Primal Howlers MC who lost his wife ten years ago and raised his kids on his own and he has a health crisis. Now he feels like maybe its time to hand over the reigns to his son. When he is at the hospital he meets Wyatt, who is there with her father. And he is immediately attracted to her. She makes him feel like he can be the president his men needs and fight his health issues.

Wyatt's dad is sick, but he refuses to fight for his health. She meets Sundance and is just bowled over by him. But she is a strong classy women runnig her own company and she takes care of her special needs brother. And she also wants to have a life, get married have kids and she doesn't think that she will get it from Sundance. He was married and he has grown kids and he doesn't want to get married again. And life is a bit hard for him trying to sort out his club, finding a mole and keeping everyone safe. But life has a way of throwing you a curve ball... And she underestimated her bikers feelings for her...

I loved it. From the first page when he met her, throughout the drama with the club, and Wyatt's brother. And hey my man Hatch made a special appearance... Whoop! Wyatt definitely reminded me of Maisey. If you love this authors previous MC Books this one will definitely be a good addition... Piper I need the next book! 😊

Nice to see a cover with a fine silver fox on it! Love all the characters in these series of novels... the plot with this one, i think is not as good as the others that i have read so far. Love "Teddy" bear... his so sweet. I absolutely loathe people calling these special people names as well as taking advantage of them! There are some real nasty people in the world, not just in novels. Any way i love these characters, the novels has it all even the slight humour and banter! Looking forward to reading more in the series.

This was a great book! After losing his wife to violence Sundance didn't think he'd ever find love again. But a chance meeting with Wyatt changed his life. Sundance and Wyatt were perfect for each other. Both were strong and watching them fall in love made for a great story.

Other than Sunny’s instinct to jump to conclusions and ask questions later, he deserved a lesson in humility. His apologies made him a better man and worthy of Wyatt.

Wyatt took little for granted and held grudges, but not for long...she should have held out for a grand gesture, after he ripped her to shreds and Aero humiliated her in front of the club.

Wyatt and Sundance met during her father’s chemo treatment, which Sundance was also undergoing. Her father was irascible; her older brother Teddy, is all she has left of family and he is in an assisted living facility, he has a limited mental capacity due to oxygen deprivation at birth. He’s been confined there since her mother’s death, ten years ago. Her brother was a lean, six-feet-two with blond hair and blue eyes, giant. At first glance, you’d never discern he was different, until you watched him for longer than a few minutes or tried to have a conversation with him. He could do much more than anyone would have ever expected when he was born, but he struggled with outbursts of anger when he was frustrated or scared, and being so big, he was difficult to handle, so her father had made the decision to place him in a home when their mother died. Her Mum did not want their father in charge of the finances, and quite frankly, he didn’t want the responsibility, so she’d been left with access to a huge trust, along with power of attorney to pay Teddy’s medical bills.

Her mother had also placed a substantial amount in a trust for her to access after turning twenty-eight, but she hadn’t touched it, owning a successful PR firm.

Six months later after her father passed away, the couple accidentally sees one another and are smitten relying on deliberate chance encounters. Following a few carefully crafted coincidences, he asks her out on a date.

Their conversation takes a turn after a telephone call from the Teddy’s facility. Evidently, Teddy’s been taking his underwear off and hooking them on girls doorknobs hoping they’ll have sex with him.
“He’s a grown man.
“I know that logically, but he’s a child mentally and I guess I just never expected to be dealing with this.

Bring him to the club. I’ll get him laid.
“Don’t be disgusting.
“Getting laid is disgusting?
“I am never bringing my brother to your club, so just drop it.
“What’s wrong with my club?
“I’m sure it’s fine, but it would not be appropriate for my brother for obvious reasons.
“And what would those reasons be exactly?
“You’ll get him all liquored up and lock him in a closet with some whore who will do god knows what and traumatize him for life.
“Jesus Christ, you have a very vivid imagination, he accused.
He threw his napkin on the table. “This date’s over.
“W󲹳?
“Look, I understand you protecting your brother. But if you think for one
second, me or any member of my club, would use anyone, let alone anyone with your brother’s needs, just to get their rocks off, I’ve either failed to show you what we’re about, or you’re just a b*tch.
“Wow. Okay, that is not helpful.
“I was trying to be helpful earlier, but you rejected my offer.

(Their date declined very quickly).

He tries to apologise at first she’s resistant but quickly overcomes her reticence, allowing him into her bed. Wyatt is a walking contradiction. The confidence she exudes on the outside masks her insecurities. Sunny misinterpreted a situation involving a rival club and a woman known to the club. He verbally unleashes his anger, without an explanation...and leaving her an emotional mess.

Aero to Sundance
Everything okay with Wyatt?
“Okay, so what’s the problem?
“How long’s she been tight with Sonja? Aero asked.
“Excuse me?
“You didn’t know,

Wyatt to Sundance
“What’s wrong? I whispered.
“If you ever repeat anything I’ve ever told you, or disclose anything you may have seen or heard while with me or at my club, I will end you. I want you to delete my number, and I never want to see you again.
“W󲹳? I breathed out.
“Now, get out.
“W󲹳? I repeated.
“Aero’ll make sure you get home safely, but that’s the last shred of generosity I’m willing to give you.
“Wait, what’s going on? I don’t understand what’s happening.
“Like hell you don’t.

Aero to Wyatt
“Do we have to walk that way?
“Walk o’shame, sweetheart, he spat out. “You deserve nothin less.
I faced him and gave him my own glare. “I don’t know what the hell’s going on, but I do not deserve to be spoken to that way. And certainly not by someone who makes dubious choices, like doing the bidding of degenerate criminals. Now, I’m going to call a car.
Instead of backing down like most people did when I used my ‘serious tone, he scowled. “Listen up real close, b*tch. You don’t get a say in sh*t, so if you don’t want me to show you just how degenerate I can get, I’d suggest you
turn your a** around and head to the f… car.
I shivered. “Show me the back door.
“Oh, I’d love to explore the back door, he retorted, and I shuddered at his sexual innuendo, “but we’re gonna go ahead and walk out the front.

With my head held high, I walked through the great room and back out the front door, keeping my eyes straight and trying not to notice the glares from a few of the bikers milling around. She was so focused on not breaking down, she didn’t notice Raquel walking in, and nearly ran into her.
“Wyatt? she asked, and I glanced at her.
“Hi. Sorry.
“You okay?
“She’s leavin, Aero provided.
“W?
“I need to go.

One night Teddy appears on Sundance’s doorstep demanding to see him, without anyone noticing that he left. This ensues police involvement, resulting in Sundance ringing her. She demands Teddy be returned
.
“Not you, and not Aero. Send someone I don’t know. Someone who isn’t a complete a**hole.
“B—
“Do not speak so familiarly with me. You’re twenty-five minutes away, so you have exactly twenty-two minutes to get him here or I’m bringing the authorities to you. This is my last shred of generosity I’m willing to give you, I said, using the same words he had to break me. I hung up and walked back to the group.
“He’s with a friend, they’ll be back shortly.
It took close to thirty minutes before Teddy came waltzing in…followed by Sundance.
“Hi, Riot, Teddy said, as if nothing had happened. I hugged him, relieved to know he was safe and sound. “We’re going to need to have a conversation about you leaving. This was not okay, Teddy Bear.
“I’m sorry, he said, dropping his head.
“Okay, honey.
Justin walked up to us and smiled at Teddy. “Let’s get you back to the TV room, buddy? Sarah’s been worried.
Teddy frowned. “I love her.
“I know you do, he said.
“I’ll be right there, I promised, and watched them walk away, before turning to Sundance. “I told you not to come.
After the Police assures themselves that Sundance is not a threat, they reluctantly leave.

An hour later, after every promise from Teddy not to leave, she exited the facility and headed to her car.
“Wⲹٳ.
No.
“Wait up.
Nope.
No.
“B.
Hell no.
I kept walking.
“Dimples, wait.
“I don’t hear you, I snarled, walking faster to my car.
His low chuckle enraged me and I spun to face him, stepping back so quickly, I tripped on the pavement. His arm shot out and wrapped around me, keeping me from falling. “Let go.
“Give me five minutes, he begged.
“Did you give me five minutes when you kicked me to the curb?
He had the good sense to grimace and I pushed against his chest. He didn’t budge.
“I f.. up.

“Let me go! I snapped.
He reluctantly removed his arm and I turned to walk away again, but heard
his boots behind me, so I stopped.
“Wyatt, please, he rasped.
I faced him again and crossed my arms. “You have twenty seconds.
“I f.. up.
“You said that already. I glanced at my watch. “Twelve seconds.
“I thought—
“I know what you thought. How about you tell me something I don’t already know?
“Because I don’t think that’s possible,
“Okay, well, have a nice life. Thank you for bringing Teddy back safely.
“You really not gonna let me apologize?
“You’re eighteen seconds in, buddy, and have yet to do so, so you tell me.
“I’m sorry.
“Not accepted.
ٱdzܲ?
Ԩ.
He sighed. “B—
“Nope. We’re not doing that. I asked you not to break me, but you took the
very first chance to shatter what we were building, so an apology means nothing to me.
“I should have—
“Shoulda coulda woulda, I snapped. “It’s done.
“No second chance? he asked quietly.
“You were the one who said you were never going to get married again, and
I want kids, which means a husband. This break is for the best. I really am grateful you took care of Teddy. But as far as you and me trying again? No.
“Okay, Dimples, I’ll walk you to your car.
“I’m good.
“It’s midnight. I’m walkin you to your car.
“FԱ.
He walked me to my car, held the door while I climbed in, then watched me
pull away.

Sundance is a master at jumping to conclusions.

Wyatt acquiesces with little or no resistance ... rather than slowly exacting pleasure from his misery.

“More buzzy buzzy, less talky talky...truly?

Maisie is described as English, however peppering the term ‘love indiscriminatingly, as referred by Maisie to Wyatt, is not normal speech.

“It’s a lot, isn’t it, love? Maisie asked as we looked at our menus.

She smiled. “If you ever feel out of sorts, you can ring me, love. Never

Major Plot spoilers ahead. Read at your own risk

ONCE AGAIN MAJOR PLOT SPOILERS AHEAD, THIS IS YOUR FINAL WARNING

I have to say that I haven’t read a lot of MC romances in my lifetime maybe like one or two at most. I have been hesitant about reading MC romances from what different people say about the language that they use to how the treat their people, and stuff like that. I tend not to drawn to these types of romance either for fear that they might be on a tad on the darker side than I would like, however from the back cover of this particular one I was intrigued. I couldn’t stop thinking about it because of what the synopsis said so I decided to give this one a try.

It started off really promising for me because of how Sundance and Wyatt met. It wasn’t something I read about before of these two finding a connection while Wyatt’s dad and Sundance were undergoing cancer treatment. Even though it wasn’t shown on the page as Wyatt and Sundance began getting to know each other during these time, it was clear that there was spark on both sides. I was very interested to see how the whole cancer thing played out, and if Wyatt was going to be taking care of Sundance while he was going through treatments and developing a romance during that time. However aside from the fact that they meet during cancer treatments, cancer really didn’t play a big role in grand scheme of things nor too much in the romance. It was kind of glossed over like it didn’t happen at all. There was no discussion about it or times where she had to take care of him because of that. It was just over and that was it. For me that was disappointing because there could have been great potential in developing the romance between them through that. Also there would have been great intimacy building there as well. I think that was just a missed opportunity there.

I will say that I did find the beginning a little confusing with all the different names and such that I felt like I missed something. Later I found out that this was book two in the series so things happened between Orion and Sundance beforehand that probably shift the trajectory of this story. Probably cancer thing was a big part of Orion’s story so that’s maybe why I felt like it was missing a piece in this story due to the fact it had been dealt with more in book one. I was confused about the different motorcycle clubs and who belonged where and where they were from and who was allied with who. It was just a lot of information thrown in there very quickly that it made my head spin a bit.

What touched me the most about this story though was how Sundance and his motorcycle club treated Teddy, who was Wyatt’s brother that had special needs. I thought the interactions between Teddy and the gang was so stinking cute. It warmed my heart so much especially as Teddy bonded more and more with Sundance and the motorcycle club. They really just took him in and made him one of their own. At the end when they inducted Teddy into the club giving him the name shotgun and gave him a bike that had a car on the side that Teddy could ride in when a member was on the bike just touched my heart so much and had me tearing up as he truly became part of the family. It was just so achingly sweet. I loved it so much. This was my favorite part of the story out of the entire thing. It was really the thing that made stick through the end of the story.

As for the romance between Sundance and Wyatt, I just wasn’t a fan. Yes, they had an attraction and connection, but it felt like all that happened in their romance was they would have a misunderstanding, make up then they end up in bed together. That was the cycle for the majority of the book. Every time their was a “love scene I would freaking roll my eyes because I was sick of the amount that there were in there. That was the majority of their focus of their relationship. Yes, they had conversations and her would answer questions about the MC, but for me it just wasn’t nearly enough of that. It was more the smut between them. It was very overtop and too much. I didn’t understand why or how they even fell in love with one another. When the words came from both their mouths it again made me roll my eyes. I just didn’t get it.

I thought from the back cover a lot of their struggles were going to be his children (who I thought were younger and not adults), the fact that his wife was murdered ten years ago (so I thought there would have been more of internal struggle within Sundance of the feelings that he was starting to have, therefore have more of that push and pull type of relationship), and his cancer (I thought that she would have struggles getting involved with someone with cancer due to the fact that she lost her father this way). But none of this even came up as conflict between them. It was more the misunderstandings between them was where the conflict arose. I don’t have a problem with that, but I figured the other issues would become involved as well and was what I was expecting to deal with from reading that back cover. When it didn’t happen like that, then I was super disappointed. I felt like there was no internal fight to be together. It was like the external happened and pushed him apart then came back together. It just didn’t make for a compelling romance for me personally because of that.

Arguments could be said that there was more between them then just smut alone. I did concede there were moments that Sundance showed his care and affection for Wyatt but in his own way. I agree that there were moments, however there were just no enough of them for me. I need more of those gestures and less of the sexy times between them. I needed more of a balance there. After awhile it just seemed like bedroom romps were all they had going for them. Honestly it wasn’t really sexy between them because they went into it full throttle without thought. It happened very quickly. He really didn’t woo her that much before they got to that point. I need little more build up until that line was crossed between them. That didn’t happen so that was another disappointing thing for me.

Surprisingly what I thought was going to put me off the most was the whole MC thing, but it really didn’t. I liked there was a bit of a mystery/suspense there with who was trying to sabotage the club. I liked seeing the setup of the club. I liked how they treated each other like family that would do anything for one another. I liked protectiveness they had for each other. Even if some of language was a little much, it didn’t bother me as much because I think. I was prepared for it. I would be interested in reading different authors that write MC romances and compare how their MCs are setup vs this one.

Overall this romance was just not for me. All the things that I thought were going to happen based on the back cover just didn’t play a role in the romance at all. There wasn’t any anticipation or build up between these two as they got more and more involved. There was no denial or anything as they fought the fact they wanted to be together. It was just a whole bunch of overwhelming smut. There were some cute moments like when he called her Dimples and such, but it wasn’t enough for me to be captured by the romance of Wyatt and Sundance. There needed to be more of balance between the sweetness and sexiness. There was just too much focus on just the physical between them. It made it hard to believe that they were falling for each other. There was just missing step for me to get to the conclusion that they had that forever type romance. What saved it for me was Teddy and Teddy’s interactions with the MC and Sundance. It was just really sweet and lovely. It warmed my heart and had me tearing up a couple times especially when Teddy was welcomed into the fold. I wish I felt like that with the romance as I did with Teddy. For me, that was the heart and soul fo the story. I liked the MC stuff too. It was just the romance I just wasn’t a fan of.

Not a Fan of the Writing Style. Would have loved it but couldn't handle the language!

Sundance is the President of the Primal Howlers, and he's worked hard to make them what they are. He has tragedy in his past, but he's had to learn to push through it, take life day to day, for the sake of his kids. He's always put everything else first, knowing he lost the love of his life and doesn't want to feel that kind of hurt again.

Wyatt is the only family that her special-needs older brother has. Since their parents are both dead, she's the one who visits him in the care facility. She has her successful business to run, and her brother to love and worry over.
When Wyatt and Sundance meet, and meet again, something changes for both of them.
They both have baggage and a history that is riddled with loss, hurt and pain. And they have responsibilities that make things more complicated. They truly were pulled towards one another from the beginning.

The heroine here was actually one that got worse as the book kept going rather than better. I just couldnt get a handle on her issues. I didn’t like how easily Wyatt was at forgiving Sundance for certain things. I thought she should have let him work harder in order to receive it.

Wouldn't recommend this to anyone!

Ehh, I honestly was okay until the epilogue. Turns out they gave their kid his dead wife’s name as her middle name. There’s no explanation how or why that conversation came up. Just felt weird to me. “Oh hey honey let’s give our little girl your dead ex wife’s name as her middle name the fuck.

I’m also curious how his kids felt about that. Yeah, they loved the heroine, but that’s gotta be another weird conversation.

I wanna give this four stars because I loved Teddy, but again, the whole name thing is just weird to me.

You’re Never too Old to Take a Walk on the Wildside!!

Sundance is the sexy Prez of the Primal Howlers MC who has lately fought through a health issue only to meet Wyatt who is there with her dad who is also fighting health issues. Sundance had lost his wife about ten years earlier and raised his kids who are now pushing him to be the strong man they know and love.

Sundance and Wyatt are from two totally different backgrounds but that hasn’t stopped them from connecting and seeing where this thing could lead them. Wyatt wants a husband and children someday but Sundance has already been there and done that. He is also trying to out a mole in his club and is waiting for the Beast to raise havoc with his.

Once I started this book I could not put it down and it had my full attention from the first page on. The relationship between Sundance and Wyatt was full of discovery and steam. Another character in this story was Teddy/Shot Gun who tugged at my heartstrings and it was heartwarming how he was accepted by everyone in this story. Love it!!

I loved this book! My first Piper Davenport and it will not be my last! Sundance is the president of a Primal Howlers MC and he is going through chemo when he meets Wyatt Batts, a confident sweetheart of a lady who grabs his attention with her smile and giving nature. These two are scorching hot together, and I loved the way the book started in the chemo room with the emotions and the pain the characters are surviving.
"I lost the love of my life, of course, I'm not sleeping."
"You've looked after everyone most of your life. It's time you get used to someone lookin' out for you, got it?"
"Before I say anything more, I need to buy some stock in Frito-Lay."
"Primal and Perfect."
Excellent writing and I was tickled pink with how the author wrote in "Ellie the Giraffe" having her baby into the storyline. Brilliant!

The MCs were genuinely mean to each other several times, and the time jumps made it weird. Also I hate when we don't find out character's ages.

it is very rare to find an exceptionally well written MC story 'PRIMAL NEED' is just that. I love a good MC book especially if it comes with a great story line and this book has that and more; Alpha President, a group of men who are tough on the outside but with heart's of gold on the inside and a career woman who stands on her own two feet while looking after her brother!

You don't really need to read any more of this review to reach for your buy button! My review will not need do this book the justice it deserves.

Meet Wyatt business woman who runs her own PR company and successful in her own right; She first meets Sundance President of the Primal Howlers when he was having chemo at the same time as her father - they struck up a slight friendship but that ended when Wyatts dad passed away and Sundances treatment was completed and he went into remission.

Fast Forward a year and Wyatt spends most of her time either working or visiting her 20 year old brother who unfortunately due to complications at birth has the mind of a 12 year old. But she loves Teddy her brother very much and she does everything she can to ensure he is well cared for.

Sundance has 3 grown up children Orion the eldest starts this series off with Primal Howl Since Sundance wife was killed 10 years ago he has been happy with random pick ups but there is something about Wyatt that has him feeling things he hasn't felt since his wife died.

Wyatt is confused by the MC in her mind they all should be degenerate criminals but all she has seen is kindness and the willingness to treat Teddy like a normal person which she finds difficult to understand. I love the interaction between the club and Teddy throughout this book - it was so well written and pulled on my heart strings!

The two don't have the best of starts and Sundance is quick to think the worse of Wyatt without knowing the full story. Their romance seems doomed from the start especially when there is a war brewing and the MC can't find the person who is out to get them! But sometimes out of know where something good happens which can bring a smile to everyones faces!

I liked it but just a little,
He behaved like an asshh two times, the first time, ok, but the second time wow, he fuck up royally!
I didn’t like that he thought one “I’m sorry was enough but I really hate when the mc couple reunite again by chance or because other people actions! I hate when there’s not a real confrontation about what happened, no, no!
Aero needs a chapter on his own, I hated him and didn’t understand how or why she forgot everything so easily! No, that scene was really awful and hard! She didn’t deserve that! And every time I remembered it I hated him more!
I liked her, she is just a woman protecting herself! They are idiots, she shouldn’t call them for anything ever, not for her brother even,
One minute she left them and run away and the other she was just call him and waving Aero! Jesus

Love, love, love Sundance! My heart was quivering when we found out about his illness but in true Howler’s fashion, Sundance came growling back. While Wyatt was taking care of her ailing father she happened to meet Sundance forming a quick little bond that stuck with both of them until they run into each other over a year later. Wyatt’s strength and commitment to caring for her brother was extremely touching. Sundance broke my heart when he didn’t give Wyatt the time she deserved to talk about YaYa. Absolutely broke me. I loved Sundance’s perseverance when he realized how badly he messed up with Wyatt. Their story is one I’ll read again and again!

Sundance is the President of the Colorado branch of the Primal Howlers MC. He's also a single dad raising three kids after his wife was taken from him. Wyatt is a strong woman standing on her own and taking care of her brother. She's lost people she loves too. These two were fire and sparks flew with them. I really enjoyed reading this story and am looking forward to more.

This was an OK book. The first problem with this book was her name. Everyone kept saying it was such a cool name, but it wasn't a cool name for a girl.. The problem that the club has with the Predators was confusing. I couldn't really decipher if it was the Predators or Sonja. The sex started getting kinky. Teddy was lovable and I was glad everyone treated him right. All in all the book was enjoyable.

Red Posy

This was disgusting!!! Would have loved it but couldn't handle the language! Wouldn't recommend this to anyone!!! Please if you are going to write a book try to be decent about it. I also know a lot of bikers and they are gentlemen. They would be horrified at how you have made them out to be! This is so wrong of you! Grow up!

The writing style was a bit too juvenile for my tastes and the characters themselves seemed a bit too toxic for one another at the beginning which made me question why they ended up together in the end. Furthermore, the story lacked cohesion in some places and I couldn't always fully place what had occurred. It was okay, all in all, and I don't have any regrets since I got it for free.

I really enjoyed this story, though I do feel like the blurb is a little misleading. While they first meat while her dad and Sundance are receiving chemo, he's healthy when they actually get together (or at least, it's only briefly mentioned when they first see each other again and later about a couple of times but in a way that is in the past, and not with Wyatt). I was also expecting somewhat young kids, though of course they would have all had to be over the age of ten, but they seem to be all adults at the point of the story. Sure, he did raise them alone for some time, but I wasn't expecting them to be over eighteen for some reason (at least, I'm assuming they are, we are never really given ages- or his for that matter-, just birth order and what they are doing these days- only the youngest has school mentioned, but she also has a job at the zoo, so not that young). Maybe it was crazy to think they would be young since he had been widowed for 10 years, but that was just my impression when I first read the blurb. Anyway, it's a good story with a happy ending. Could be read by itself or read with others from this series or other books in Davenport Motorcycle Clubs' series that are this club's allies.

I loved seeing how the relationship between Sundance and Wyatt grew. They had terrific chemistry, and I loved seeing how Sundance's feelings grew so that he was finally ready to commit to a permanent relationship. Wyatt is a strong woman who is a fabulous sister to her older brother, who is developmentally delayed. I loved seeing how Sundance and the other Howlers bring Teddy into their fold.

I have read only a few of Davenport's MC romances, so I was a little lost when events from past books were referred to. I think the author could have done a better job of filling in some of the information that was either missing or glossed over way too fast. I'm referring to the problems the Howlers are having with a rival club and especially Sonya. It wouldn't have required pages of information, just a better explanation. The language was too foul for me, but since this is a MC romance, I'm letting that slide. I just don't think it's necessary and wish the author would cut back on it.

Wyatt and Sundance.. WOW just..Wow.. they are just a super couple. Piper Davenport you have exceeded yourself in writing about this couple. Wyatt is so not what you expect to be the "type" for a biker chick. She is more high class and well put together. She is not a rule breaker. Wyatt also has a mentally challenged older brother she takes care of, so that adds to her story.
Sundance is your typical alpa male, macho arrogant a**hole, President of the Primal Howlers MC.
Sundance is a widower and has 3 grown children. These are the dynamics or obsticals to overcome to become a couple. In the meantime the MC has it's own problems going on. This the second book in the series and I loved it, laughter, almost tears but I do hold my breathe at times. Piper touches base on all the emotions. Great job on this book. On to #3.
