The book is considered a si-fi book however it goes into a very wired area in the Islamic world which is "Creation", the book is very good in the way the writer builds up the characters, how he narrates the story, there is not much of a dialogue yet you dont feel your missing something, as most the book your reading the journal of the scientist "Tusk", and in between there is a good chunk of the book dedicated to the scientific theories which the writer depends on to build the story of how "Tusk" created living, breathing and yet dare to say thinking life, some have passed the scientific part and went on with the story and mentioned that they had no issue, i disagree as i see reading this part , although it might make you leave the book as its a very "heavy" part to read yet its very important, why 3 out of 5 ? well two things as good as the writer is in informing us of theories which he totally depends on to go on with his story, and he stretched a bit claiming that there were physically proof on all of them, which is not the case as some of them are still theories, yet he got confused as his story goes that Tusk was able to implant his "Creations" yet there is no where it mentions how did they have "Souls" to enable them to live, and another part that annoyed me that in his story of a man who challenges Allah's (God's) ability in creation he goes on with the story even in the closing making his deeds unpunished, although the closing seems like its gone happen he takes it all the way around to yet proof again that his theory is doable and challenging God wont do you any harm
