Julia Wolf’s Rocked, is an emotional and sexy rock star romance written in K. Bromberg’s Everyday Heroes World.

What happens when a star begins to fade?

My life’s a mess. Record sales are plummeting and my inspiration has flown the coop. I’d do anything to climb back to the top of the rock music charts, even temporarily relocating to a small town to clear my head.

What I didn’t count on is the pretty paramedic named Kat next door who takes an instant dislike to me. Nor did I ever think I’d enjoy hanging out with her quirky, twelve-year-old daughter and a dog who doesn’t believe the rules apply to him.

My new neighbor is strong, heroic, and unlike any woman, I’ve ever met. I should stay away—and focus on reviving my career—but that’s become impossible when I can’t stop thinking about her.

Kat makes me want things I’ve never dreamed of before. She’s tempting me to give up the spotlight, which is crazy since she’s not asking me to stay and I know I can’t.

So why does the thought of walking away make me feel more faded than ever?

An amazing story, beautifully written with great characters❣️
Devon and Kat had a wonderful connection regardless their scars and their relationship was thoroughly developed.
It was an emotional and romantic read, even though it didn’t rock my world.
It was me and not the book... 😔

Devon, Devon, Devon....... IF there was any broken, bad boy rockstar that was going to ATTEMPT to steal my heart away from my original & forever book boyfriend, it would be you, my friend.

When I first "met" Devon in Misconception (which isn't necessary to of read to enjoy this book, but let's be honest, you should go read all of Julia's books because she is awesome) I immediately was like "Ok, this guy is an absolute 100% certified douchebag...." I was like "No way is Julia going to make me fall in love with this guy." I am here to tell you I was wrong. Even at the beginning of this book, Devon is still his douchebag self, but throughout the book while he was finding himself, we got to see him grow and adapt and change right before our very eyes. I've come to learn that he wasn't much of a douchebag at all.....just a very broken, lost soul who simply needed to meet the right person.....his person..... And he met her, in Kat freakin' Murphy.

Kat is one of the strongest heroines that I believe Julia has ever written. She is a paramedic, a kick ass Mama bear, and one of the best friends you'd ever want to have in your corner. She, herself, has a bit of a past that made her attempt to keep her heart out of it when it came to her temporary neighbor next door, but let's face it....as much as she helped Devon find himself, I think he did the same for her.

I couldn't end this review without mentioning Kat's amazing daughter, Ellie. The relationship that she forms with Devon pretty much right from the get-go was truly something remarkable. I loved the interactions between Ellie and Devon so much. I think it was those that made me think, "I really think Devon is going to be alright." Also, let's not forget Leroy.... That dog was a true character.

Let me close this by saying this....and I don't say this lightly.... THIS IS MY FAVORITE BOOK THAT JULIA HAS WRITTEN....and yes, that deserved all the shouty caps! ;) I love Julia, and I love her writing and this book truly got to my heart. Please....do yourself a favor and read this book.....and all her other books because DUH. ;) Alright, I'm really done rambling now.

This was a fun one!

Rock Star romances are not my normal thing, but I always make an exception for Julia Wolf. She just makes her characters so real for me and I fall in with them so easily.

I also really loved our heroine, Kat, who is such a fire cracker. She's a single mom, paramedic, rock climber, and scarred beauty. She co-parents with the best of them and even has a good relationship with her baby daddy. She has no time for her new neighbor but her dog just can't seem to leave him alone. Haha!

I also loved the real but heartbreaking truth of her daughter's allergies. I can't even image the pressure and stress of worrying about a world that is literally dangerous to her. It's a wonder she isn't a ball of nerves at every moment.

I enjoyed the back and forth between the characters and seeing our hero, Devon, grow up a bit more. He's basically been able to live like an overgrown child for so many years and seeing his friends and now his lovely neighbor being "adults" is good for him. He goes on a beautiful little journey.

This story also has "we can only sleep together for a finite time" trope going on. Which led to some hot scenes but also some angst that was hard to manage.

Overall, this was fun, steamy, and full of heart. As all the best Wolf novels are.

Devon Chambers is a douchebag. Well, was a douchebag. This I know not only from the opening chapters of Rocked but from his appearance in Julia's Unrequited series. At the same time he's hot, cocky and talented. It's conflicting and I LOVE it!!

As much as I love a sexy bad boy rockstar, I love a strong heroine. In Rocked that woman is Kat Murphy. Paramedic. Supermom. Overall kickass woman. Julia is known to write some amazingly strong heroines and Kat Murphy is definitely giving off major hero vibes. Her daughter Ellie is equally as enjoyable as is the crazy mutt Leroy. I seriously LOVE this tiny family so much!

Rocked was absolutely fantastic! It's a book about growth and redemption. The evolution of Devon is one not to be missed. Seeing Kat let down her guard and reluctantly let Devon in is as equally beautiful. Sometimes the missing piece to the puzzle is in the last place you expected. Sometimes it rolls into town, demolishes your mailbox and befriends your dog 🐾

This book is an amazing addition to the Everyday Heros collection. Julia has seamlessly combined her world of rockstars with that of Bromberg’s heroes. I'd love nothing more than to be able to revisit Kat, Devon and Sunnyville someday ❤️

It's the sign of a masterful storyteller when the guy you loved to hate in her last book, Misconception, becomes the object of fascination in his own story, Rocked. I just knew Julia Wolf was going to make me love bad boy Devon Chambers, whether I wanted to or not! She succeeded- he managed to charm the hell out of me in no time at all.

His star was falling and the walls were closing in on his career... he needed to get away from his life for a while. Devon landed where he needed to be- anonymous in a small town where he could finally decompress and maybe reinvent himself, whatever that really meant these days.

His new neighbor was a badass single mom who sure knew how to tell it like it was. Her funny, awkward, lovable daughter, Ellie and an energetic mutt named Leroy, were slowly worming their way under Devon's skin, along with Kat herself. His hardened shell was starting to crack and a sense of peace was beginning to trickle in. Discovering his easy humor, along with that unexpected vulnerability, melted my own heart alittle, because feeling this way wasn't familiar to him anymore, if it ever was.

Kat Murphy sure didn't need the complication of a self centered, but admittedly sexy rockstar living next door. Her heart was locked up and the key had been tossed away long ago. Was Devon up for the challenge with this feisty small town mom? Kat was a complicated lady with a painful past and scars that ran deep. I admired her sacrifices and strengths and wanted to cheer her on, but there were a few times when I wanted to say, really Kat???

Watching this jaded, faded rockers story unfold was transformative, beautiful, witty and brought tears to my eyes while warming my heart from the inside out. Devon Chambers was the highlight of this one for me and I fell in love with him a little more each day. The array of characters in little Sunnyville, California were, as always with one of this author's books, full of life, sometimes stubborn, often funny and certainly endearing. Rocked had quite a story of redemption and forgiveness to tell with some swoonworthy surprises that you'll definitely adore. It'll grab you quickly, pull you in and won't let go 'til the that sweet ending comes around.

Rocked is a new addition to K. Bromberg's Everyday Heros World and even though I haven't read any others, it didn't seem to matter at all. Kudos to Julia Wolf for 'rocking' my world yet again with another amazing, heartstirring gem of a romance. Her next offering is already checked on my TBR!

My thanks to the author for providing me with this early copy. You've just read my honest review of it.

I don't say this lightly, but this is one of my top five favorite Julia Wolf books, ever. If you would have told me that after reading Misconception that I would end up loving Devon, I would have laughed my ass off (and that's a lot of laughing😂) but I shouldn't have doubted this amazing woman because GOOD LORD I LOVE DEVON SO MUCH. I just want to give this broken rockstar the biggest hug and call him mine. Who I once thought was an unreedemable, certifiable douchebag turned out to be a broken man with so much depth, so much pain, so much regrets that I couldn't help but fall in love with Devon fucking Chambers.

Kat is a rockstar of her own: a paramedic by day, mama bear mom at night, and definitely the kind of woman you want in your corner. With scars of her own, she has been burned by relationships before and life in general, so to say she's skeptical of the rockstar is an understatement. She definitely has walls around her heart to ensure that she never gets hurt again, but somehow Devon gets passed her defenses in all the best of ways.. but with his time in her quiet town coming to an end, can she allow herself to feel something for this unattainable man? Or will she be reminded why she guarded her heart in the first place?

I don't know just how Julia does it, but she always makes me fall for her male leads so effortlessly! I love how she didn't take the easy way out, and really owned the douchebag Devon used to be. Through multiple painful and in-depth self-reflections, Devon truly becomes even better than who he used to be.

And how can I not comment on how freaking amazing Ellie is?!?! That girl stole my heart from the very first page, and her immediate connection with Devon was one of my favorite parts of the book!

I just can't recommend this book enough! If you're a long time fan of Julia's, or if you haven't had the chance to read her books yet, READ THIS BOOK!!

**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**

Wow! I just finished this incredible book Rocked by Julia Wolf, and to be honest I am a little lost for words words that are good enough to explain how beautiful this book is.

I am a huge fan of Julia Wolf especially her Rockstar novels and believe me when I say this is her best book to date, by far. Julia’s books seem to be getting better and better but this one has just blown the others away.

The story follows Devon, a Rockstar in his mid-thirties, who’s fame is starting to fade after several unsuccessful records. Devon is re-evaluating his life and trying to figure out who he is (aren’t we all?) and what he can do to get back on top of the charts. On his path to sorting out his life he runs into Kat, a resilient and straight-forward paramedic, who makes him question everything he thought was important.

I know there are numerous books out there that will give you a similar premise. I do not want to ruin this book for you by providing spoilers, but to me, there are a lot of little things (and some bigger) that make this book different to others of the same trope.

This book is so beautifully written. The prose and turn of phrase that Julia has used was thought provoking. There were so many paragraphs that just had me taking a breath and thinking feeling and thinking again. Some of the phrasing used to describe emotions really affected me and made this book such a “feeling novel. I am not ashamed to say I cried a number of times. If you can read this book and not have your heart clench for Devon, you aren’t human.

This book is also a complete stand alone. Yes, you might get a little more out of it if you have already read Misconception, but you don’t need to.

This is a book I will definitely be reading again, and I highly recommend it. If Julia is kind enough to grace us with epilogues for Devon in the future, I will be one genuinely happy little camper.

This book was the one. I loved it. I don’t normally read Rockstar books, but this one I loved cause it had a single parent in it. I loved Kat Murphy. She was like a kickass heroine. She was a paramedic and she was a mom to her twelve year old daughter
Devon was a Rockstar, cocky and definitely sexy. But his life is a mess. His inspiration has left him and his record sales are not doing too well. So he moves to a small town to clear his head.

Kat Murphy didn’t need a complicated selfish sexy Rockstar living next door to her. She had no time for anything in her life right now. And would she wanted after the scars the previous relationship left her with.
Will Devon be able to get past the walls that Kat has build around herself and her daughter or will small town life just not be for him?

When I first started reading I thought Devon was a douche but everyone has something in their past that makes them the person they are now. And that’s exactly how Devon is. Even though he seems like this happy go lucky guy he has his own pain and his own regrets. And Kat and her daughter was just what he needed in his life. I loved reading their story , the heartache the funny parts and the romance of it all.

Oh, Devon. How you’ve grown! If you haven’t already met Devon in Misconception, I strongly recommend you read it. I mean, you don’t have to in order to understand all of this book, but then you’ll see just WHY I wanted Devon to find his redemption and be happy. But I digress.

Devon needs a change in his life. What change? He doesn’t figure that out until he’s sitting in a lonely desert diner, being verbally slapped down by a sassy young waitress who delivers exactly the ego-deflation that he needs. So he’s off to Sunnyville to try to find his peace and maybe some happiness (if he’s lucky). His first meeting with Kat and her family is amusing because he’s not the guy that they think he is, yet he feels the need to prove himself. It helps that Ellie and her preteen confidence point him in the right direction for working toward gaining forgiveness from her mother.

Kat has been there, done that, with people she can’t trust, so she has some serious walls around her heart and some rock star isn’t going to break through just because he’s a pretty face. Then she sees the substance behind Devon’s facade and starts to wonder if maybe, just maybe, she could feel something for him.

Devon and Kat sorely need to work on their communication skills, which means some pain and longing on both parts if they don’t learn how to open up a little. But if they finally get it right, it’ll be a beautiful thing.

I’m truly impressed that this author managed to make me fall for and feel Devon so quickly. She didn’t shy away from his painful self-examinations and reflections, nor did she gloss over the jerk he once was. After all, everyone has a little jerk in them at some point in their lives. This books is proof that the past doesn’t have to define someone, as long as they grow and learn and find a reason to be better.

I literally do not know how Julia does it. I have read very few authors who I feel can completely transport me into their world and get me so invested in every aspect of the characters life. She brings all the emotions. Julia knocked this book out of the park!!

I don’t want to give anything away but reading little bits and pieces about Devin in the other books I wasn’t sure how I was gonna feel about him. His growth didn’t feel rushed, it felt captivating. The complexity of the characters felt so real life and natural. Seriously, don’t miss out. This is definitely a must read!! I loved it!

We first met Devon in Misconception, and I have to admit he was certainly not my favourite character. Julia has done a fabulous job and bringing his ego back down to earth and turning my opinion completely around. Paramedic and single mother Kat (along with her lovable daughter Ellie) have really brought out a softer side in Devon.

Another winner from Julia Wolf!

Julia Wolf has the uncanny ability to write the rockstar romance like very few. Her characters are real; they have bad personalities, substance abuse problems, and many other obstacles they need to overcome in the course of their book. Devon is no different; however, his story isn't so much him overcoming obstacles, it's more Devon realizing what he thought was a good life was not and how he found what was.

Devon has regrets and feels he's lost his way in his art and personal life. The glitter has faded off the rockstar persona, and it's left him wanting more. However, he doesn't know where or how to find it. A random newspaper left behind in a diner and reading an article lead Devon to a small town to regroup and try to find his muse again. That muse ends up being a single mom who is a paramedic, her quirky daughter, and a rambunctious dog.

Within a couple of days, Devon is starting to write and find that he likes being able to see the stars at night. He enjoys walking around town as a regular person. He loves the pancakes from Bertha's. And he's finding he's enjoying his interactions with his neighbors. Devon discovers as he gets to know Kat, she is engaging, intelligent, and strong. She's fiercely protective of her daughter, who has allergies and speaks her mind. Devon enjoys the friendship he develops with her, and his admiration for her only grows.

The growing attraction and affection that blooms between these two is a joy to read, and you quickly become thoroughly attached to Devon. He's already grown so much from our first introduction to him in Misconception; he's now self-effacing, humble, and wanting to live a new life. He makes some amends, he learns to be a bit braver than he's ever had to be, and he gives his heart totally to Kat. Yeah, it's that good.

As I said at the start, Julia writes these books like no one else. I was wondering there for a bit if Devon was going to replace my number one Julia Wolf character, Jude. It was close, really really close, but Jude is still my favorite, but this book? Rocked is undoubtedly one of the best she's ever written, and she's written some good ones. But the depth feeling you develop toward Devon is probably the best I've seen her do. Go read this book....now!

Another hot and steamy romance by an author who knows how to grip you from page one all the way to the end. I wasn’t a Devon fan. I didn’t want to like him. But he certainly redeemed himself to the point I fell in love with his character. Kat has a lot of self doubts and it will take a strong man to bring her around. Is Devon up for the job? Like I said I loved their story and you really connect with them as a whole. Cannot wait for what she writes next.

Having read Misconceptions I wasn't at all sure how I would feel about Devon, but before too long I was hooked on his story and hoping for his happy ever after, and let's face it more than a little in love with him.

Julia writes such amazing characters, you just feel like you know them, and not just the main characters either. I just want to keep on reading more of this story. I just need to remember regular breaks to cool down the heat a little.

We first met rock star Devon Chambers in Misconception. The na're-do-well husband with a side of douche and smarm. He took everything for granted until it was all gone - the wife, the friends, the fans, the fame and even the music. So what now? He finally recognizes that who he has become won't get him where he wants to go. On a whim he ends up in a small town to recharge, reinspire and refocus. While he's there his neighbor, a single mom with scars of her own force him to re-evaluate everything, including what he wants for his life.

Kat's life took some unexpected turns after a car accident, getting pregnant by her ex and letting go of her dream. It's something she would do again and again for her sweet baby, now 12-year-old with challenges of her own. But her life is fine. She's fine. It's all fine. Until a rock star moves in next door and literally crashes into her.

This is a very deep and personal journey. The story is compelling, the sex is hot, the emotions are real and the connection I felt to them as a reader was palpable. I was drawn into this story of redemption from past sins, overcoming negative images of ourselves and finding wholeness in unexpected places. Kat and Devon had to push past preconceived notions of who they are first to themselves to begin to open to each other. And along the way engage in such things as naughtiness in the closet, pancakes, watching the stars and finding new songs to sing.

This is a stick-to-your-ribs story with characters and situations that stay with you long after the last page and compel you to read it again just to savor it for a little bit longer. I think this book is one of Julia's best.

4.5 stars I absolutely devoured this heart-felt, steamy, and emotional standalone rockstar romance. This author does a remarkable job with creating characters that are so raw and real that is easy to connect with them. This is the story of a jaded, uninspired rockstar who is struggling to reevaluate his life and a small town paramedic who is fierce and strong.

With the backdrop of the small town of Sunnyville, California you will fall in love with Devon and Kat’s story. If you have read Misconception by this author, then you will recognize Devon as Malka’s loathsome ex-husband. I wasn’t sure if I would like his character but this tortured soul captured my heart and completely endeared himself to me. Past mistakes have determined the trajectory of his life and he isn’t entirely happy with what he sees. Hints of vulnerability shined through and I am impressed with how much has character has grown.

Kat is a single mom and paramedic in this small town. Her daughter is her entire world and she doesn’t want interruptions form a swoonworthy rockstar in her life, especially since his stay is temporary. I really liked her as a character. She is a strong heroine and as a mother myself, I really identified with some aspects of her life and her mentality. She is cautious at times and it was interesting to see her grapple with her attraction towards Devon as well as the evolution of their relationship.

Together, these two work well together. They have a great connection and the passion between them was palpable. There were some rather steamy scenes that practically melted my kindle.

I would be remiss if I didn’t discuss the supporting characters. I am not one to read single parent romances, but Kat’s daughter Ellie was adorable and spunky. She was a breath of fresh air and her presence really added to the narrative. Then there is Leroy, the large rambunctious dog that I would love to adopt into my own household.

There are several aspects of this book that I believe many could identify with. The characters possess strengths and flaws with many traits that I found relatable. Overall, I really enjoyed this standalone novel from this author. The storyline was solid and the characters were well developed. I voluntarily read an early version of this book. All thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.

Devon was introduced as Michaela’s douchebag ex who cheated more than he was faithful before their divorce in the book Misconception. Devon comes face to face with his douchebag self. He describes himself as a rocker with a failed album(s), as practically a has-been at 35, a caricature of his former self. That he had been gone for 3 weeks traveling and he did not have one person who missed him. He decided to head north in a quest for self-discovery to try and figure his s---t.
He ends up in a little town in northern California where he rents a cottage next door to a single mom, Kat who works as a member of a rescue squad with issues of her own.
Devon, The smile she threw me over her shoulder did this weird thing to my gut. A kind of squirmy feeling I hadn’t felt in ages.
Kat, No I wasn’t doing this. I was not going to form some irrational crush on a rock star. No way.
Kat describes her and Devon’s love story, “We were imperfect in completely different ways. Scarred and damaged but not unworthy. What a story it is! This book slew me! It Is a must-read. It is worth 5x500 stars.

After Misconception, I really didn’t like Devon Chambers. He was a douche and I wasn’t sure I really wanted to read a story about him. However, it’s a sign of a great author when she can make you do a 180 and fall in love with a character you formerly hated. Julia Wolf did just that. I love Devon Chambers now.

Devon has lost his way in life. His star is fading so he’s trying to figure out his life and restart his career. This journey of self-discovery lands him in a small-town where he meets Kat and her daughter. He’s done a lot of things in his past that he is not proud of, but they make him want to be a better man.

Kat is an all-around badass. She’s a paramedic who loves rock climbing and dancing. She’s strong and independent. Her daughter is her life and she’s extremely protective of her. Kat has scars both physically and mentally and they make it difficult for her to let her guard down.

Both Devon and Kat are damaged souls with so many scars. However, they lift each other up and cast no judgement about the past. Watching their relationship grow was both beautiful and heartbreaking at times.

Devon’s relationship with Kat’s daughter, Ellie, was charming. They were instant friends and seemed to be drawn to each other.

I highly recommend Rocked. It’s a wonderful story of redemption and shows that everyone is worthy of a second chance.

I hate to admit it, I'm not the forgiving kind. I normally don't like bad boys, cheating lying bastards with too much ego and a bad habit or three. I resent them, and pass judgement I'm sad to say.

This washed up rocker really got to me, and made my gut churn in the most delicious way simply by owning up to his mistakes and taking on some responsibility for his actions. Seeing the egotistical rocker transform into a caring lover is the perfect experience ever. He ends up being swoonworthy just like the rest of the heros this author so masterly creates and I think I'm in love (again - sigh!).

Kat is a genuine badass, with a rock climbing hobby, a paramedic job and co-parenting a daughter she's fiercly protective of.
Spoiler alert: This book will give some people the perfect ammunition as to why they don't condone dancing...

Julia must have reformed me, or maybe I'm not all bad, just as her characters. I want to be a better woman, taking responsibility for my own bad choices. I owe you one, Julia!

If you aren't already familiar with this author, just know all her books are one-clickers taking you for an emotional spin.. I offer up all my happy tears as proof.

AH! Where do I start? LOVED Devon and Kat! Bruised and battered both of them, each in their own wounds, still nursing their souls back together on their own only to meet each other and realize they didnt know what 'whole' could mean without each other. I'm a sucker for brooding bad boy rockers, and Devon certainly checked several of those boxes, but you add in a kicka*$ heroine like Kat, a cute kid like Ells, AND a big goofy, protective dog like Bad Leroy Brown and you've got me hooked! I loved everything from their 'meet-cute' to their own realizations about what was happening, just absolutely dig the vibe this author puts into all her books and loved seeing the blasts from past books she snuck in on sly! All around great book!

Wow! I actually knew nothing about The Everyday Heroes World, but I do know about Julia Wolf’s books & I love them!! Rocked is the story aging rockstar bad boy douchebag Devon Chambers and single mother paramedic Kat Murphy. They meet when he rents her cottage in a small town as he’s trying to “get away from it all & find himself. Turns out maybe Devon isn’t really a douchebag anymore.....and bad boys can be very, very good. Great story, great extended cast of characters besides Devon & Kat, including her daughter Ellie, dog Leroy & Ex Veego. Get the book - you won’t be sorry! And then treat yourself to Julia’s other rockstar romances too!

5 Star review Rocked (The Everyday Heroes World) by Julia Wolf
Julia Wolf is a new author to me. This was an entertaining read that ticked the boxes for me. Devon Chambers is a fading rock star who doesn't know how to stop his career from going under; he is arrogant, cocky and smoking hot.
Single mum Kat Murphy is the woman who comes into his life and brings him to his knees. She is feisty, sassy and such a strong woman that you cannot help but love her and her awesome daughter Ellie.
Meeting Kat and Ellie has made Devon take stock and re assess what he wants out of life. It was great to watch both Devon and Kat grow as they embarked on their relationship. Rocked is a well written story with characters whose lives you cannot help but become invested in.
Rocked was a great addition to the Everyday Heroes World. I love Sunnyville it is a town that I can easily see myself happy in.

With every book Julia Wolf writes, I fall more in love with her words. I have to be honest when I realized Rocked was about Devon from Misconception, I thought there's no way for this author to redeem himself after what I knew he'd put his ex-wife through and he seemed like a complete douchebag in the book as well.

Well, Julia rocked this book out of the stadium and right into my heart. Devon visits Sunnyville while he's trying to figure out his life. He's lost his way and has so many regrets making him think he doesn't deserve to be happy. But in Rocked, Devon proves everyone deserves a second chance on life and love.

If you love rock star romances, I can't recommend Rocked enough. Even if you don't, I think you'll love Julia's writing and her flawed characters she's sure to make you love.

This story rocked me to the core, it was passionate, heartfelt, witty, entertaining and captivating. As a huge fan of Julia Wolf’s books, Devon’s story is one that I had been waiting for. Devon and Kat have a chemistry that is like the beat to your heart and the melody to your soul. A story that takes you on an inspirational journey of healing and falling in love. The steam and heat between these two will have your skin tingling and your pulse racing. A story that at times stole my breath and had me falling hard for Devon, Kat and Ells.

Ok honestly after reading Misconception I really didn't like Devon Chambers. He was terrible and treated his wife then ex like crap. This book definitely changed my mind. I didn't want to, but I totally fell in love with him and at times I totally felt bad for him!!!!! I couldn't believe it and I never saw that coming. I loved this book. I love Devon and I think that Kat was definitely the perfect partner for him. She is a total bad ass and kept him in line. I loved this book and can't wait for the next book. I've loved every book that Julia has put out. They keep getting better and better.

This was a very sweet romance, with lovable characters and an cute, interesting story line, unfortunately rock stars books are not my normal read but this was ok.

When Devon moves to this wonderful small town on a whim in the middle of a crisis of confidence he finally gets to see the stars rather than trying to be one. He can’t count them, but falling asleep watching them, that’s something else.
And this book? This is definitely something else. I’m ready to sell up and go live in this universe.
Kat is the strongest, most amazing of Julia’s heroines and I think most of us will want to be more Kat.
