Volume 3

I would like to read volume 3. Hopefully it will get translated soon. I like how the story is not really rushed.

This volume focuses on introducing a surprise character from Rio's past incarnation as Haruto, who also coincidentally reincarnates in the same world. The story gets quite a bit dark here with her past, with hints of sexual assault and the ever-popular slavery theme getting thrown around.

Nonetheless, the world-building of the series continues to be superb, as Rio and his new-found "little sister", Latifa explore the hidden village of the beast-peoples and live amongst them.

Overall, this volume sets a much more light-hearted tone after the introductory chapters of Latifa, and at times it does seem to be settling itself in to a much cliched setup with multiple romance flags being tripped upon. Thankfully, the author wraps everything up in the volume itself and the end of the volume sees Rio resuming his original journey after having a good resolution to Latifa's story.

Poor story.

The initial plot and main idea in this serie was quite interesting, two different ‘persons’ living and sharing one body, unfortunately the author didn’t manage to develop this idea and failed to make an interesting story. The main character is overpowered and loved by everybody around him, the secondary characters lack personality, are poorly described and the battles are quite boring.

Liked this volume 2 much more than the first volume, probably because it had so much less of the human depravity, ultimate evil, torture, sexual assaults, etc. that Japanese authors morbidly spread heavily in all of their light novels.
Liked all of the aspects and warmth of the spirit folk. The sharing of recipes, the learning of spirit spells, magic and combat skills. I personally would never leave an awesome place like that.
I hope that the author does not go back to the bullying, torture, gore, and fake/cheap drama circumstances that filled the main character's life in the first volume.

Like ?this book

I almost didn't but this second book because I thought the format had changed to Rio point of view only (don't care for I books) I enjoyed this one as much as the first one. I like that it shows other point of view also. Looking forward to seeing what is in store for Rio in the future. Seen how he started and how he growing into his own and learning about the people that make an impact on his life. make for a good read.

Excellent

Another excellent addition to the series that was thoroughly enjoyable to read. We meet another great cast aside characters and possible love interests, see an expansion on the main character skills, and new enemies plot in the background. If you enjoy the first volume, you will enjoy this one.

Good book overall

Not as good of a book as the first, but still a very good, book, I saw the past life relationship from a mile away, but that didn't ruin it in the slightest. Brings me in to thinking their are more he's going to run into and I can't wait to see what happens

After Leo left the kingdom, he was almost being assassinated by a demi human but he did not kill her since she was being forced to, they go onto the trip and met a clan of demi human and lived there. And Leo is going to meet another person with reincarnated memory.

i think this book has a great use for laying some clues and also representing how did Leo created his own feelings

A heartwarming journey... with a werefox girl?!

After running away from the Kingdom of Beltrum, Rio begins a journey toward his ancestral lands in the east. On his way there, he meets Latifa — a werefox girl enslaved by nobles and trained to become an assassin… and Rio is her target! Rio manages to defeat her in combat, and releases the enchanted collar binding her to her owners. But Latifa, unsure of what to do with her newfound freedom, demands to accompany Rio on his travels. The two meet new friends and foes along the way, with an old foe returning as well…
