Although he was a 20th-century poet, his poems are fairly traditional and strongly nationalistic in character.

برای من شگفت انگیز است که با گذشت دستکم سی سال از چاپ این کتاب، من نخستين کسی هستم که اینجا به این کتاب امتیاز میدهم. آیا این برخورد خوانندگان کتابهای فارسی با نوشته‌ها� ارزشمند نویسندگان تاثیرگذار ایران درست است؟ هر اندازه کهنه، اما بر ماست که نوشته‌ها� بزرگان فارسی را بخوانیم و بشناسیم.
